This is Zheng Yi Sao (born Shi Xianggu) and she's one of the coolest people who existed in Chinese history.

She started as a courtesan, and then she married a powerful pirate. but he died, she took over, was very good at finances and strategy and rose to power. She did so by proposing a confederation and becoming the pirate leader of the most biggest ship.

She also beat the East India company, the Portuguese people and the great Qing dynasty.

ok so for those of you who don’t know, there’s this twitter account of a japanese local hero mascot named dentman who went viral recently due to this tweet

but yeah he saw the tweet. and his response went viral as well (which is how i found his account)

and he just has like. hourly posts reminding you to brush your teeth

oh and his rival? his name is mr. mutans. whenever dentman posts he makes a post of his own, ofc

but THAT’S NOT ALL. literally while making this post i found a THIRD ACCOUNT that’s all about taking your meds

safe to say i’m losing my mind

anyway the point of all this was that people are ALREADY beginning to draw them ship art 😭

The funniest thing about all the speculation regarding the origins of the Bigfoot myth is that we know where it came from. It was a prank carried out by a guy named Ray Wallace who vandalised a couple of logging camps in California in 1958 while wearing fake feet to conceal his identity. They literally found his collection of giant wooden feet in his basement after he died in 2002, his involvement has been corroborated by multiple accomplices, and the timing of the incidents precisely lines up with when interest in Bigfoot exploded in American popular culture. We've known all this for twenty years, and everybody just quietly ignores it because it's no fun, I guess.

Idk why but I didn't like the Scott pilgrim anime, it just feels flat. None of the jokes hit, the plotline could have been better, but the characters and the animation is god tier.

There are many references to the movie, comics and the games but I feel like it was missing that special spice which made it so good to savour. It's like a body without soul. Plus some of the voices don't even match, was the 'whole cast returned to make this' thing a ploy for media attention?

Anyways rant over, it was good but felt more like a fan work rather than the actual series.

I loved the characters doing different shit though. And the fact that most of them were so bi 😭 (ramona's hair should have tipped me off lol).Anyways rant over nobody's gonna read this whatever
