Armin wasn’t sure what he was doing. He felt like a stalker, sittting at an empty table with nothing in front of him. He was too nervous to actually order anything from the cafe. All he could focus on was you, putting together orders for others so effortlessly. Armin had only talked to you a couple of times, and he ended up becoming a stuttering mess. Although, he did love how you made matcha tea, so he always gathered up courage to order somehow.

“Hey buddy!” Eren greeted loudly, snapping Armin out of his thoughts. The blonde blushed, not wanting attention drawn to himself. He knew Eren did it on purpose so you would look towards his direction. It was then he regretted inviting his friend to hang out with him.

“When are you gonna stop staring at them and grow a pair?” Eren asked bluntly, slouching in his seat. Armin glared at his friend, wishing that he would just shut up. Eren never knew how to keep his mouth shut.

“I’m not staring.” Armin mumbled, looking down at the wooden table. Eren raised an eyebrow, a wide smirk spreading across his face.

“Sure, and i’m not sitting across from you.” Eren replied sarcastically, trying to prove his point. Armin rolled his eyes, dramatically throwing his head back as a small groan passed his lips.

“I’m not asking them out, Eren.” Armin said, crossing his arms. He really didn’t want to embarrass himself, especially if you were already taken. Eren didn’t seem to care though, since he stood up and walked over to the counter. Armin gasped, reaching out to his friend.

“Relax, im helping you.” Eren groaned after dodging Armin’s grasp. The blonde watched Eren with wide eyes, wishing that the earth would swallow him whole at the moment.

Armin couldn’t hear what they were saying, but his heart nearly stopped when Eren pointed in his direction. Armin locked eyes with you, watching as a small smile appeared on your face. You waved but Armin didn’t wave back. His face was red as he sat in his seat, frozen. He didn’t even notice when Eren came back, sitting down and slipping his friend a cup of Matcha tea.

“They know your order.” He smirked, watching as Armin’s face became even more red. Armin always ordered the matcha tea when you were working. He claimed that you made it the best out of all the baristas. He didn’t think that you cared enough to remember his order.

“Turn the cup.” Eren smirked once more and Armin wished he could slap it right off his face. The blonde sighed, turning the cup to see your number and below it, a small message.

‘you’re pretty cute, matcha-boy. maybe we can hang out sometime?

If only you knew she was standing on top of the wall, definitely a violation of the company’s property but she didn’t care as a small smirk fell on her lips. She aimed the plastic gun at your back allowing the fake beam to hit your back, a buzzing sound echoing throughout the arena. Shocked, you turn around to see her smirking back at you.

“I win again it seems,” she sighed jumping off from the wall she was perched on.

“Are you kidding,” you deadpanned, “this game is rigged.”

“Or your just bad at it,” she grinned ruffling your hair placing a small kiss on your forehead.
