So hey, I need everyone to go read this article written about the Hobby Lobby artifact theft saga, in the style of The Epic of Gilgamesh.
Hear the tale of United States of America v. Approximately Four Hundred Fifty Ancient Cuneiform Tablets and Approximately Three Thousand Ancient Clay Bullae.
This was the Hobby Lobby, the gathering place of many crafts
And briefly high-end cookwares but only briefly
Where men might come from many leagues distance and say in wonder, “This is a Hobby Lobby!”
And obtain many cubits of fabric for crafts projects ordained by Ea or by Ishtar
I’m in love with the woman who wrote this. I genuinely want to kiss her on the mouth.
Today I was the first person to log into my class and we had a guest speaker. My professor introduced me and told them I was one of her best students and a very hard worker! From this professor especially that means the world!
You know what I wanna know? Why's the Muncell book have like 7 pages of blue and teal chips? Who's soil is this bright blue? I know people use it for ceramics too but this is the soil book. Why's the soil book got anything comparable to blue China?
Anyway, new archaeology ask time: what's your most used pages? It's almost always 7.5YR with the occasional 10 or 5YR for me.
Right??? I've never seen any of those soils either. Most of the soil where I'm from is 10 YR or 7 YR, although we do get some that are more pink or orange. Those two pages are always the most used.
My professor says he’s seen them but…….. seems suspect.
The areas I’ve worked in/that are around me are all 10R or 2.5 YR! Gotta love that red clay!

I completely forgot I bought new mugs and they were just laying in my closet 🥺 I know they are chipped, but i love them anyway. I would like to learn how to repair them if it's possible.
