February 17th is just another day to everyone, except me. The day I left in the middle of my shift to pick you up from the middle of your shift. That’s the day our lives changed. We found ourselves in the ER for almost 12 hours, test after test. Married for only 4 months, it was my decision to have you discharged or admitted. No one knew why you had lost all of your memory. 21, healthy, happy. It was one of the scariest times I’ve ever been through. To not know if my husband would wake up next to me and not remember who I am. Yeah, you could say we’ve been through something 21 year olds should never be put through. But it doesn’t end there. March 13th — I started my own business. I invested in myself for my family. To take the opportunity and make up for lost work, lost checks. And yeah, I started this in the mists of chaos. Called me crazy, but never once have I regretted that investment. It’s helped in more ways than just financially. I am stronger today because of what I’ve gone through. I push myself more as each day goes by to provide more for my little family. After all, it’s fairly simple, even in the mists of chaos. Where are all my Boss Babes? 💁🏻‍♀️😎💕 It makes me sad how hard People are on themselves because they’re used to struggling. You tell me you wish you had an extra income and you’re tired of being unable to afford life, unable to pay rent or unable to buy things for your kids. Living paycheck to paycheck. The only difference between me and you is that I believed in myself. That’s literally it. People tell me every single day that: • I can’t do this • I would suck at it • I wouldn’t get to where you are • I would fail • nobody would support me • i don’t have money to spend on this but can go out to eat & spend way more than $99 in one month Dude. I get it. I WAS THERE. but I was SOOO aware that If nothing changes... NOTHING CHANGES. If I didn’t do something about it, I was just gonna stay broke. And to me that was WAY harder than trying something new and believing in myself. I chose MYSELF. I chose my family. I chose LIVING. who cares if it takes time? If it takes practice?
