Normally I don’t post things like things like this but it’s really annoying me and writing it out helps, so here we go.

STOP MAKING ANAKIN THE BAD GUY IN THE DECEPTION ARC

Obi-Wan fakes his death and it was his idea to not tell Anakin, the boy he has known and trained since he was nine years old and knows about his attachment & anger issues. 

“Keeping Anakin on the outside was critical. Everyone knows how close we are. It was his reaction that sold the sniper. I'm sure of it.“ 

He deliberately left Anakin out because his real reaction would sell Obi-Wan’s death, Obi-Wan used their relationship for this mission and it’s fucked up.

Let’s not forget about Ahsoka who held Obi-Wan when he “died”, she had to feel his heartbeat slowdown and body get cold, imagine she’s calling out to him and saying that everything’s going to be alright, but he doesn’t answer. Imagine how traumatic that was for her. 

Anakin has already seen people he loves die in front of him, his mother who died in his arms and Ahsoka, who luckily got brought back to life with the help of The Daughter and The Father. Now he had to see Obi-Wan, the man he loved as a brother/father. The emotions he must of went through would have taken a toll on him; thinking of his mother and Ahsoka, thinking he wasn’t good enough to save Obi-Wan (because we all know he really puts himself down when something goes wrong) - thinking he was a bad Jedi for not being able to save his Master. Not to mention he was the one that moved his body, all of this mixed up must have really been hard for him, and Ahsoka.

But then Obi-Wan returns and Anakin is angry, and rightfully so. Obi-Wan doesn’t even apologise to Anakin (or Ahsoka), he tells them to forgive him which is way out of line, you don’t tell/ask someone to forgive you, you own up to what you did, actually apologise and give the person space and wait for them.

In many fanfics Anakin is angry at Obi-wan, yet Obi-Wan is angry at Anakin for not forgiving him, and he suffers from all these illnesses that make Anakin forgive him and being called a brat, whiny child etc.

No, just no. That’s not how it works. Obi-Wan stans need to release that what he did was wrong, that he needs to accept Anakin’s anger, apologise and take responsibility for his actions - stop babying him and making Anakin the bad guy, it’s just not right.

this is years late but i’m surprised dooku didn’t pick up ahsoka after she left the order. like he heard the news and was like “excuse me the council banned a sixteen year old girl from the order because they thought she bombed the temple with hardy any good evidence??? AND SHE’S PART OF MY LINAGE?!”

then when ahsoka tells him what happened he’s so fucking angry at the jedi council, especially yoda because “damn old man you should of seen through thr lies!” and mace windu “being framed and almost executed is NOT A FUCKING JEDI KNIGHT TRIAL!”

“skywalker was the only one who believed in you? hmmm, looks like he’s not so much of an idiot like i thought he was.”

Summary
