Boston Mutual Aid (Helping People Get Groceries!!) / Solidarity Supply Distro
With Covid-19 at our doorstep, we need to make sure everyone is taken care of. And that means everyone. The most marginalized among us, those most in need of help at times like this, are the ones MOST commonly missed and avoided. Nonprofits can only reach so many people, and often it is only those who are connected to their services already. People experiencing homelessness, addicts, and sex workers without any institutional support are in need of food and supplies just as the rest of us are, and we need your help to reach them. Please donate to help us ensure that those most vulnerable are also receiving the help they deserve.

Covid-19 Mutual Aid Network - Los Angeles organized by Timothy Hayes
To Donate Supplies, Volunteer, or Reach Out For Help, please visit: Mutual Aid LA In this unsure time of a new pandemic, and individuals struggling to respond to the public health crisis of COVID-19, we now more than ever must love and protect each other. In the city of Los Angeles, we need to come together as one community and do everything we can on the ground to supplement, support and reduce risk to every community member and community in this city. Especially since there is a glaring absence of federal, state or city governments enacting the sweeping structural changes and safety nets that we critically need.

Minneapolis Mutual Aid Fund for Public Housing Residents
Defend Glendale & Public Housing Coalition (DGPHC) is organizing a city-wide mutual aid fund for scattered site public housing residents in response to COVID-19 called Public Goods. This project is in partnership with Northside Neighborhoods Council and Prospect Park Association. Due to the COVID -19 pandemic, mutual aid projects are popping up everywhere to meet the needs of the many, and DGPHC has decided to launch one for residents of Scattered Site Public Housing in Minneapolis, since Minneapolis Public Housing Authority has made no attempts to provide resources or support to them during this crisis. We are raising money here to buy and distribute cleaning supplies to the over 900 scattered site households in our city, and we need your help! We anticipate costs upwards of 25,000 dollars and we hope you can support us towards this goal. All funds will be used directly towards our COVID-19 Mutual Aid Fund. Thank you!

The Stanford Prison Experiment Revisited by Vsauce
Normal people can become monsters given the right situation. That’s the standard narrative of the Stanford Prison Experiment, one of the most famous psychological experiments of all time. But what if the cause of its participants’ cruel behavior wasn’t what we’ve always been told?
Vsauce revisits the Stanford Experiment to prove that “Demand Characteristics” like giving titles like “Prisoners” and “Guards” and being told that ‘It is for a greater good,’ enforces cruel and unfair treatment.
