Or I think he has been - it seems like he has." there's worry in his tone, Matt's thoughts going the same way as Wolfy's. He was glad Collars got some time to be whole again in his body but he was so scared of how it would hurt when they switched back.

"Well he is an only child so I guess so." Matt wasn't really sure if he felt like 'the kid' or not. "It was way before I got here, just after they got rescued from Becile. Rabbit talked him down from what I understand, helped him work through it. Maybe she'd have some words of wisdom."

Matt considered his questions, his expressions odd on Collars’ face.

"It’s hard, ‘cause I do feel like i’m a part of this family, and that’s ‘cause they made me welcomed as part of it as soon as I got here but- I wasn’t around for some really important stuff.  For the stuff that’s really bound the rest of this house together. A lot of stories that aren’t really mine to tell."

He gave a tiny shrug and after a short silence

"Our Peter did try to kill himself.”

Matt watched him check the hall, lock the door, an plop down with a sigh. A twinge of nervousness running through him over it.

That quickly turned to open shock as Wolfy removed his collar.

He stared open mouthed as the wolf man explained, gaze wavering between the collar and Wolfy’s face.

"I-i-i-i"

He stammered, another look down and up again.

"Okay I seriously have no idea how to react to this news right now."

"They gots really sharp teefs but Babbits a'ways rea'y careful an he nibbles on my finger sometimes when I feed 'im stuff an it TICKLES" 

Ian explained, climbing down off the couch to sit on the floor in front of Kenny and Babbit and pet the flop ears head.

He echoed Kennys "AAWWWW"  when Keys spoke, slumping onto the couch and Kennys lap dramatically  "But we barely gotsta play!"

"Ian" Steve muttered warningly, the tot knew better then to whinelike this, but there was a smirk of amusement edging onto his face.

"Babbits mou’f is REALLY big!"

 Ian informs him excitedly as Babbit casually starts to rub his nose with his paws.

"When he yawns he looks like a W’ION! Like he’s goin RRAAARRRRR"

Those floppy ears twitched in light surprise as Ian did his best imitation of a lion.

Steve smirked at him, then gently took his arm and turned him so he was looking behind them at the rest of the playroom, where a castle complete with working drawbridge and moat.

He didn't say anything, it might not even be Mels or she could be waiting or any number of things but till she did (he hoped she did share this amazing news with him) he was left a tightly wound core of excitment and anticipation hanging on her every word. well more then usual

She was pacing as she waited for Sam to return, a hand placed protectively on her stomach. How was she going to tell him? Would he be okay with it? She looks up at Sam when he comes back, smiling softly. “S-sam? I- I have something t-t-t-to tell you. You might w-w-want to sit d-d-d-d-down.”
