pt 2 of me rambling abt ships but i ADORE benverly with my whole soul because i think it’s a common error to forget beverly’s strength and bravery and fire are all formed out of necessity. sure, this is who she is and that strength is partially nature, but bev wasn’t allowed to have a childhood. her father was the worst!! ever!! and her development was framed around survival, but she was still a kid. she just never really got to be that kid at home. so i literally go insane wild about benverly because ben feels his emotions so intensely!! and he feels love so intensely and he loves beverly so much!!!! and she can be herself around him— she can be emotional and tender and vulnerable without worry. they are just at their cores two incredibly loving people learning to heal with each other and i literally eat it up every fucking time. amen.

one thing i really do like about reddie is that yeah they bicker and argue and get on each other’s nerves but they have always been just. really close. like even as kid they were really close friends and were able to just gravitate towards the other. so yeah richie can piss eddie off to no end and eddie can push richie away too much whatever but they inherently find comfort in the other and more often than not they balance each other out pretty well. like i really truly do like functional reddie i think they are so nice

I don’t remember any specific fic titles but theapplepielifestyle as an author was HUGE and rightly so. Oh hit me baby one more time. That was The. Fic to me. I just checked and they have a 13 going on 30 fic since I dipped out and you KNOW I will be reading that today.

And then there was. Haunted beach house fic whose name I can’t remember I’ll dig a lil bit then edit if I find it.

There were lots (at least 3?) time loop fics I remember rly liking. If I’m trying to find stuff to read I usually filter either by “time loop” or “the turtle can help us”. Not fool proof but a lot better than going by kudos which is majority tweenhood based which I’m not interested in or like. Au where eddie has a noisy neighbor! Which I’m also not interested in
