Title: Tears of Rebellion

Decided on more manga cover practice and again used @10ths-writing-corner Henrik and inspiration of storytelling for Septicart Party -bogies-

Whumptober #11- Defiance/Cry

“You drifted off again, Doctor. Was it a nice vacation?” The glitch filled voice mocked. “Don’t you remember what happens when you let yourself escape?”

“D—Do your worst, y-you son of a bitch.” A German voice retorted with defiance from behind the door.

Screams echoed through the hallways of the small underground bunker. He couldn’t help but wince at the raw sound coming from the man his Master had taken hostage for what seemed a couple of months ago. He stayed still. A few feet away from the metal door, his hands fingers fidgeting with the red thread around his wrists.

He had to be good, or he would end up like that man behind the door. But the puppet couldn’t help but wonder... what did that man do to deserve such punishment...? Didn’t he know if he did as he’s told Master would take care of him? There’s a slight shake to the head, the puppet shouldn’t be thinking about that... but then again, his curiosity peeked through.

The door slams open and the puppet jumps in place, sapphire eyes manage to catch a glimpse of the man, now hanging unconscious, by the very familiar red strings. His brows furrow with concern, maybe he should go check on his pulse... make sure he’s still alive.

“Jameson— Come.” His master’s voice called before the dapper could move a muscle. The itch to obey Anti’s orders burn bright like the red threads wrapped around his limbs and neck, and yet, the dapper took slow and hesitant steps towards the doctor. Jameson doesn’t know why, but the need to check if that man was okay just pulled him.

Before Jameson could take another step he drops to his knees, his strings burning into his skin. If he had a voice a pained scream would’ve echoed around the room but he’s resigned to just hiss and bite back a silent sob. Tsking comes from behind him, and soon enough his Master is taking over his view, a disappointed yet calm look on his face.

“Disobedience results in punishment, puppet. I thought you would’ve learn by now.” He said in a sickening sweet voice. Jameson’s eyes stare at him in fear, the man swallowing dryly as he thought of what to say.

Trembling hands lift as he hesitated to sign. “{But... Master, h-he mi-might die... I th-thought your goal was to keep him alive for interrogation— Perhaps... I-I should—}” the dapper’s sentence is cut short by a growl and a hand taking a tight grip to the collar of his shirt. Jameson is hoisted up, his feet dangling a few inches from the concrete floor. Sapphire eyes stare back at the black abyss that were his Master’s and he can’t help but feel tears prickling his eyes.

“Are you questioning my methods, puppet?” Anti snarled, sharp canines peeking through as he spoke. “I do whatever I please with that one. Remember who’s in charge here, or do I have to let you join the dear doctor for a beating?” Tears finally slid down the puppet’s cheeks as he shut his eyes close and violently shook his head. “Good... defy me again, and you will get some.”

Anti growls once more and let’s the puppet drop. Jameson backs away as he bows his head apologetically. In a matter of seconds jameson is back on his feet, following his Master at a good distance. The words that come out of his mouth, however, have him blinking in disbelief.

“Be helpful and make sure the other puppet doesn’t bleed out. No more than that. He is no use of me if he’s dead” With that said, the demon glitches out of sight and a bit of relief fills Jameson’s chest.

With his head still hanging low, the puppet heads back towards the dark room. Guilt makes his stomach drop as he gazed at the unconscious man. He crouched in front of him and starts inspecting him with curious eyes before he sighs. It was ridiculous to do, but still, Jameson lift his hands and began to sign.

“{I do not know you... nor what you did to anger my Master. But I promise I won’t let him hurt you too much...}” A soft hiss slips from Jameson lips when the strings tighten around his throat before a sad smile adorns his face. “{They’re not too bad once you get used to them....}”

Ayo, it’s been a while! Took a break from writing and all of that, but I’m picking right back up! Though, it’s not ego related. I decided to start with something new, still, I would really appreciate the support!

At least for these type of fics I’ll keep them strictly to ao3 while I’ll still post ego content here! No, I’m not gonna abandon the egos, they still hold a very big place in my heart.

Anyways, here it is! It’s from the MDZS fandom! (the grandmaster of demonic cultivation) I really, really recommend the book series, the anime and live action! (Which goes by The Untamed)
