"Some multi-millonaire crime lord, not exactly the friendliest guy." he explained with an air of arrogance. "He's imported some weapons I need to dispose of. Thinning his inventory out a bit."
“Depends who are we stealing from?” He quirked an eyebrow total attention focused on him.

The night felt restless. He wasn't sure if it was because it was the beginning of the week, and everyone was coming down of a weekend high, or because he'd turned up little cash from the people he'd recruited. Profits weren't what they should have been, and he couldn't help but expect another guy selling the same stuff as his guys were. One thing was for sure-- they wouldn't dare hold out on him.
He'd just gotten out of 'meeting' with those men of particular interest when he saw her-- a figure wrapped in a coat quietly making her way down the darkened streets of upper Gotham. A smile touched his usually grave lips, and hung back, just for a few to watch her. He knew she was more than capable of taking care of herself. She was the daughter of Ras Al Guhl. The name alone spoke for itself. What had been a plan of looking out for her then fading into the night's shadows had been nulled when his drop from the ledge gave him away.
Might as well give myself up. Wearing an obvious smirk behind his helmet, he held his hands up and stepped into the yellow glow of a street lamp's light. "Hey, hey, easy. Don't beat me up." he teased her, dropping his hands just enough to unlock the seal that held his red helmet on, and then slipped it off, tucking it under his shoulder. "Kinda late for a stroll, don't you think, Talia?"
Midnight Reunion || Talia & Jason
Talia leans against her apartment balcony, and lets out an irritated sigh. “I can’t seem to get any sleep.” She runs her fingers through her dark locks, frustrated. “This has been happening all week.” She grumbles, and gazes upon the street below, dead silence.
“Maybe If I take a walk, that will help clear my head.” She looks down at the silver watch on her wrist; 12:05 a.m.
Talia walks inside her apartment, and wraps her black pea coat around her body, buttoning it up. As a precaution, she straps a gun holster to her leg, which carries a handgun. She slips into a pair of black boots, and heads out into the dark night.
Talia makes her way down the streets of Gotham, the only noises are the clicking of her boot’s heels against the concrete. Every once and a while, a rush of cold air nips at her nose, causing her to shiver. I wish I had worn a scarf, it’s cold out here.
Suddenly, Talia hears a soft thud on the concrete behind. She spins around automatically, nothing. “I know you’re there. Show yourself. Now.” Talia’s icy blue eyes narrow.

He chuckled loudly behind his red helmet, and lithely stood on the edge of the building. He turned to her, and leaned in close, speaking to her in a voice so low, and threatening that he almost felt sorry for it. Almost. "Think what you will, sugar plum, but rest assured, you know me." He crouched, and leaned forward slightly. "Or, you used to." With that, the Red Hood dropped, and landed with a thud, on the fire escape below. He swung over the ledge, and disappeared down the alley.

Alex felt a chill run up her spine and lips tightened into a line. That wasn’t possible. Dick was Robin, Jays was Robin, Tim was Robin and so was Steph, now Damian was Robin. All of those people were evidently, not this Red Hood guy. “That’s bull shit,” she finally told him. “I know all the Robins. Knew all of them at one point… You couldn’t have been.”

For just a second it crossed his mind. The opportunity was there-- on this roof, at night, and no one around to swoop in and stop him from exacting his resentment. And it was obvious Tim knew that, well, obvious to Jason. He didn't trust him, and he took assurance in that. He shouldn't.
"Oh- what, you wanna play therapist with me?" He said, roughly at first as the thought sank in. Tim's detective skills were impressive, and Jason not once doubted his abilities to uncover people's darkest secrets. He'd found out about Bruce's double life, and Dick's, and that was something in itself.
"It couldn't hurt your chances." he finally added, in a subdued voice. As badly as he wanted to shove the other off the edge of this building, he'd even admitted to himself that it was a more selfish and jealous thought to act on. It wasn't in the plan.
Somehow, that didn’t ease Tim’s mind. He knew well enough that there was method behind Jason’s madness, but it wouldn’t be hard to find method enough for him to hurt Tim again.
“I’m flattered. Really.”
Tim’s hand moved to grip the handle of his staff. Jason had all but admitted to plotting something, and if he wanted to have it out on a roof in the middle of Gotham, Tim wasn’t going to be caught off-guard. “I don’t suppose there’s any point in offering to talk this out?”

"I wouldn't ask you to kill." That was, in fact, one of the last things he wanted to see. A kid committing murder. "How do you feel about theft?"
“I’m not going to kill if that’s what you’re implying. My father will be cross but I think he’ll live.” He crossed his arms over his chest waiting for his response.

Grayson?
Oh hell.
"Aha-- that's.. that's nice, kiddo." Well, better him than any of the others. I actually like him. "C'mon, let's get you somewhere warm." How do I-- Fuck, I'll just... Jason wearily opened his arms. Hell, he'd never held a kid in his life.

"That's up to him." he answered gruffly. "I need something out of him first, and if he talks, we'll see what's in the cards for him." It wasn't like he deserved to live, but not everyone saw it Jason's way.

"Well, no, you should be." Jason's heart had been corrupted. The Lazarus Pitts had done their job, and left something dark lurking in his already broken soul. He was no longer a hero, but a little more than a villain, and he definitely wasn't stooping to the Joker's level. He didn't kill for thrill. Didn't kill because he felt like it. There were methods, twisted as they may be, to the murders he committed. With Bruce it was betrayal. He let that scum walk the earth even after his death. With that damned clown, it was vengeance. Retribution. Everyone else just got what they deserved.
He wanted to hurt Tim. But in all honesty could he murder just for his own satisfaction. The third Robin had taken his place, and somewhere in his damaged spirit, he knew that he was only dealing out anger and hurt to his replacement. But still.. but still, he couldn't wipe the little smear off the face of the Earth. It'd be so damned easy, yet, he couldn't do it. "I'm not going to kill you, s'bad as I want to."
So far as Tim was concerned, Jason had seen enough cause in the past to attack him for little more than donning the suit that he’d left behind. It wasn’t a huge stretch of the imagination to think he might attack again.
“Are you suggesting I shouldn’t be?” Tim’s hand shifted an inch closer to where his bo staff was hidden. He didn’t like the smirk that he could hear in Jason’s voice.

--Just because he loved irritating Damian. "Something too big for the newest, little bird in Batman's nest. Stick to your patrol, Kiddo."
“Such as?” he raised an eyebrow at him. Not leaving his fighting stance though.

If Jason wasn't wearing his helmet, he would have ran a hand down his face-- or rolled his eyes. Was this woman serious? "What part of the mask do you not understand here? Or does the whole masked-vigilante-ashetic go completely over your head?" If she was laughing, she was probably wasn't familiar with the Joker's laughing gas-- or Scarecrow toxin. Good girl.

"If you don't know who I am or what I do, then it's probably best it stays that way, trust me." A slow smirk crept it's way upon Jason's lips. "You talk a big game, s'that some condescending way of covering up that fact that you really are afraid, sugar plumb?"
“……airborne biological agents!” Yin burst out laughing and rocking backwards a little, pressing a hand to her forehead. “Oh-ho, man! What kind of stuff do you get into?!” So then I suppose no smoke bomb would work on him, that’s too bad. Yin composed herself and clasped her hands behind her back. “And I  have every right to ask questions because I’m curious. And don’t bring up that whole ‘curiosity killed the cat’ thing because I doubt anything around here could kill me.”
Tumblr media
“….did I leave anything out? Oh. Who are you?”

"Does it look like I ever abide by anyone's jurisdiction?" It wasn't like he was part of their family anymore-- Damian's scowl made that evident. That, or he was just being his violent little self. "I'm looking into something."
Damian narrowed his eyes his smirk turning into a scowl. “Like I said Todd what are you doing here? This is my patrol route and you know it.”
