In the words of Paul Frees, the voice behind the famous and unseen Ghost Host, “Your cadaverous pallor betrays an aura of foreboding, almost as though you sense a disquieting metamorphosis. Is this haunted room actually stretching? Or is it your imagination — hmm?”

In early November of 2023, my family and I traveled to Orlando to spend the week at Disney World (albeit with one of those days being spent at Universal Studios, which ended up being just as enjoyable), and it became one of our most memorable vacations for all the right reasons. Aside from finally riding the Tower of Terror, one of the best but most terrifying rides I’ve ever been on, I also returned to my all-time favorite attraction, The Haunted Mansion. When I was halfway through the ride, I got the idea to combine two of my many favorite things, those being the Haunted Mansion’s Stretching Room portraits and the Papa Louie games.

That brings us to today, in which, after many months of waiting, I finally present the sequel to the WIP I posted a while back. I’m delighted with the final result, especially since I’ve fixated on this idea for so long. It might be a bit messy or wrinkled in some spots because I wanted to show that these were older portraits in dire need of restoration.

This might be the very thing that gets rid of my writer’s block. I would love to write a fanfic about this! I’m not exactly the best at writing conflicts, especially these kinds, but I’ll do my best. And hey, it’s worth a try.

Potential story idea aside, yeah... the more I think about that one Q&A, the more I realize how messed up it is. Like, I can't thank Tony and Matt enough for what I've gained through their works, but honestly... what the hell? That's like a whole new level of making your characters go through as much misery as possible.

As an unserious reason, maybe they ended Quinn’s QnA because she was just fucking done with it. She’s already too overworked and since the last one was at the end of 2020 (aka the hardest year for some people) then she was like “that’s it, no more”

Honestly, a bit of a funny thought is the thought of Quinn having connections to essentially gods of the Flipverse (Tony and Matt) and being one of the few customers fully aware that they control everything that happens… including the fact that her longtime work-partner left her suddenly without explanation hahaha…

Ha…

You know, I don’t think I would’ve ever thought to wrap myself as a Christmas present to someone, but from the looks of it, I think I’ll stick to drawings and gift cards. 😅 Alberto managed to pull it off pretty well, though, so I guess you could call that dedication.

If I’m gonna be honest, I’m still baffled that we’re already celebrating Christmas and wrapping up 2023. Time really does fly when you’re having fun. Through all the hardships and wonders of this year, though, I’d say that my Papa Louie hyperfixation was the best thing to happen to me this year. I made new friends who also like the franchise, found new artists and art pieces that I adore, was able to finally enjoy the game that one of my favorite YouTubers, Poofesure, was becoming well-known for, and, best of all, got out of art block because of all the art ideas the game’s lore had to offer. That’s why I chose one of its ships to be my final piece of the year (unless I’m not too distracted by my new Lego sets); of all the fandoms I’ve gotten into this year, this one’s had such a significant impact on my journey as an artist.

I should also mention that this is my very first piece of Penny x Alberto content because it’s not just Quinn x Timm that I love to pieces. So, for those who ship Penny x Alberto content, I hope you enjoy seeing this as much as I did working on it.

With that said, Merry Christmas, Happy belated Hanukkah, Happy early Kwanzaa, and Happy, well, whatever other holiday I didn’t mention here. I wish you all a Happy Holidays!

okay Papa Louie fandom, hear me out once more.

Hey everyone, Reese here! I'm finally coming back to post here after what felt like so long, because in the words of Sideshow Bob...

For many weeks, I’ve had an idea that I just can’t wait to put to paper. One that struck me in the evening while I was lost in my many, many thoughts.

Out of my near-dozens of hyperfixations, there I two in particular that I enjoy immensely and therefore cannot stop talking about for hours on end: Papa Louie and crossover fanart, the latter of which being something that I’ve loved/wanted to try out for a few years now (I'm sure you might be able to see where I'm going with this now).

Yes, folks, I’ve decided to make Papa Louie crossover art! Basically, what I'll be doing is taking one of the Papa Louie characters and matching them with a character from a different franchise that I believe is the most fitting. I do already have some ideas for this in mind, but suggestions are greatly appreciated!

okay Papa Louie fandom, hear me out again.

An AU where the Papa Louie characters have swapped roles.

So far, these are the only two ideas I have for this:

What if Guy Mortadello had the successful restaurant chain, while Papa Louie was the restaurant owner-turned-criminal who kept lucking out no matter what he opened?

What if Quinn was the one to leave “Timm, Quinn, and Associates” to pursue a different career, leaving Timm to rename it to “Just Timm and Associates?”

Again, I don’t know why this is the kind of stuff I come up with at, like, 6 AM 😅

If you do have other suggestions for this AU, please let me know! I’m kinda thinking of making this a collaboration of sorts where we can all come together and share our ideas for this.
