I love how through my dai playthroughs I've gotten more and more chaotic

Cadash: noble, didn't take a lot of shit, always wanted to do the "right thing"

Adaar: funky lil chaotic good mage, just wanted to cause the least harm

Lavellan: sassy artificer gremlin who started beef with solas whenever she (i) was bored

I find it really funny how so many players have their lavellans fall for solas and don't get me wrong it's a fascinating storyline and really well written but my Lavellan fucking hates that egg man

fem! versions, side by sides of both update! admittedly i've drawn a lot of beefleaf inspo

a few things about this au:

meng yao ascended through reputation and has weaselled his way into heavens favour

qinghe nie fell not too long after huaisang's death, partially due to meng yao's new reputation and exposure of the saber practices causing the nie clan to fall out of favour

mingjue has become a calamity due to the resentment built from his death as well as the fall of qinghe

somewhere along the line of being in seclusion, xichen ascended to become lord mercy, despite not wanting immortality in the first place

since stories get warped and have changing definitions over time, both xichen and mingjue have male and female forms and switch as needed (think beefleaf)

both have some degree of amnesia cause they've been around too long

I’m so curious if during Wei Wuxian’s Yiling Patriarch era the people of Yiling could recognize him.

We know he went into town and was treated pretty normally. It could be that people didn’t know who he was, or they knew did and didn’t care, either of which would be incredibly funny:

Yiling citizen: Oh look there’s the radish guy! He’s quite nice, always sweet to the kids and his radishes are surprisingly good!

currently spinning the thought in my head that… we’re told how empathy shows what someone most wants to share & so much of nie mingjue’s empathy sequence is about lan xichen. like, yes, it’s about what jgy did but there is still a significant amount of focus on lxc’s kindness and warmth.

this is someone who’s stewed in his own hatred for a decade and still what he is saying is not just this is what was done to me; this is who did it but also this man is innocent and kind and nothing of what happened was his fault. even through death and a resentment so intense it surprised wei fucking wuxian, nie mingjue only ever shows lan xichen in a positive light. even knowing that his death was plotted and executed using tools given by lan xichen, nie mingjue thinks him blameless because those tools were handed out with nothing but good and pure intentions.

like. what the fuck. come on.
