kirei be like: learns healing magecraft because of her, thinks about her for 14 years, explicitly says no one will ever understand him as much as she did, calls her a saint and a bunch of other praise, wants to kill himself over not loving her in what he perceived as the only 'proper/normal way', has hydrangeas in the church gardens, then in fgo says ortensia/hydrangeas are beautiful, pure, and stay in one's heart forever, remembers her dreams about wanting to be a singer and thinks about it when he sees caren, nasu says their married life was quiet but peaceful/he'd sit down at her bedside and patiently talk about his day with her kirei: nono it's because i didn't care. no love for me. idgaf.

i feel like people who don't think kirei loved claudia just can't read very well. like oh wow you'll believe anything a character says about themselves despite their thoughts and actions betraying the contrary huh?
