A Whale on The Moon

Sometimes I would think of a line, from a poetry, of a prose, before it vanished into thin air

Sometimes I would hear a melody, from birds chirping, before it was drown between the traffic noises

Sometimes I would open my eyes in a faraway land, lush in scenery, before it disappeared in the blink of an eye

And I think of words I wished I could have said with my tied tongue

And I think of notes I wished I could have played with my broken fingers

And I think of portraits I wished I could have paint with my torn canvas

I long for the time when my mind was free to wonder, and my eyes free to wander

I long for the time when my voice could be heard, and my thoughts listened

"There is a whale on the moon", I said.

"Why would you look at the moon?", they said.
