Sometimes the campaign needs a little spice and you just have to teeter your character on the edge of death for fun

Look my character's dex is high! He hasn't been hit in three fights, you can't blame me for letting him follow his impulsive little heart by jumping head first into a poison cloud to fight a bug!

Was it the bug who downed me?

No!

Was it the poison?

No!

Was it friendly fire because my party didn't realize I did that so they fire bombed the poison cloud?

Maybe

-but I hear you, it was worth it right?

No

They hit me directly and chipped 17 hp right off me. The bug took 4 damage and was fine.

The moral of the story is I nearly suffocated to death in a poison cloud about it so maybe don't jump into poison clouds for fun

I want to sneak attack stab it and use booming blade like I always do, please, all I can do is bite it and me and my character really don't want to bite a living embodiment of plague and pestilence that can heal faster than I can cause damage- I'm disengaging so it doesn't disease me so it literally can't reach me we'll be here forever"

No claw knives... You can booming blade with your teeth but it only does half damage

My coworker is committing a cardinal sin

He's trying to poach me from my current dnd group (mid campaign) so I can join his DND group and is luring me in with a fascinating homebrew One Piece campaign- he knows I love One Piece how could he do this to me

I can't pick both because they would be on the same day, the pain, the toil, the despair

I mean I'm not leaving my current campaign obviously, we're in too deep, but damn dude
