I think it's a bit weird that the aros and the gays are kind of against each other when it comes to representation because the gays want to ship everyone and we want to ship no one and like, while I understand the feeling of "if one more person says these characters are just friends I'm gonna punch them", I also understand the feeling of "if one more person ships these characters I'm gonna punch them". And they're both valid I guess but can we PLEASE acknowledge that not all queer characters have to be in relationships for them to count as representation? A single trans character is still representation. A single aro character is still representation. Even a single bisexual character is still representation. It's about who we are, not about who we're with.
