honestly plausible LMAOOOO but like... a hunter mistaking alastor for a deer was the explanation given by ex-staff for his deer form. if the hunter knew he was a person and shot him because of the dead body how would alastor's deer form be explained? the x being on alastor's forehead was probably just him noticing and turning towards the hunter at the last second before he was shot

although I do like this explanation with it being on purpose but like..... the deer form explanation........

honestly thinking about the idea of the radiostatic falling out happening slowly rather than one big blow up. I mean a big blow up would definitely be more dramatic but at the same time...

imagine like little disagreements over time that became more and more frequent, arguments where they'd just be pissed at each other for a while then come back a bit later because they still wanted to hold onto the friendship even though it was starting to fall apart, until the straw that broke the camel's back that is vox asking alastor to "join his team", alastor rejecting and him getting pissy that causes them to break it off for good

I constantly think about how these two probably had very different ideals and yet still managed to be friends, but what if those differences are ones that did in fact keep coming up in their friendship but ones they tried to ignore BECAUSE they wanted to maintain the friendship until they couldn't anymore

Concept: Angel Dust assumed the Radio Demon would look more like a radio. Maybe Angel assumed Vox was complaining about not getting to clunk his tv box head into some other guys radio box head and called it a day

regarding the drool thing i highly doubt its a death mark or something like that given that a lot of characters do it and it isnt like. a permanent affect on his screen

also the insistence that its vals saliva therefore every seen hes salivating must have kissed val before. obviously that isnt true but i think its infinitely more telling that hes constantly SALIVATING. like do you have sialorrhea or are you just happy to see me?

even lucifer does it in hells greatest dad! though his is yellow like his blood..

my actual belief is that it isnt really saliva (atleast in the case of vox. lucifer. alastor.. we know vals is saliva) but instead blood and its supposed to indicate that the character is being "bloodthirsty" / violent.

it would make sense given all the scenes we see it used.

vox telling pentious to kill himself. the beginning of stayed gone. vox's finale hate boner. alastor doing creepy radio demon shit.

lucifer is even SAYING the word Blood during his scene. though its in the context of the family line, given the timing i can only imagine its deliberate.

the only exception id say would be at the end of poison (unless they're concocting a really devious plan). though id wager to say that in that scene specifically it actually is valentinos saliva

in this scene and this scene alone vox red droplets were on the left side of the screen (theres technically another time, buts its really on both sides of his screen there so).

this is right after we see angel with driplets on his left side, and you can see that val has his on the right side, (which is weird cause he mostly has it on his left side too?) which would be the sides to link up during a kiss

or maybe they're just sprite flipped idk

for lucifer's case I just thought he bit his lip while saying the line cause he was that pissed LMAO, funny how his blood is like an ugly yellow in that scene compared to the usual glowing yellow or gold we see from other angels. I mean yeah I believe that, I've mentioned it before it appears when vox shows strong emotion. the reason I subscribed to that one anon's death mark theory is cause alastor's red "x" appears whenever he semi brings out his demon form (the example we see of alastor bleeding from the mouth too also has that "x")

and yeah, I think poison is like the SOLE outlier to this, all other times he has the red lines he's showing some kind of strong/violent/feral emotion. I originally just held the idea vox produced it himself and the strong emotions were actually from making out with val (yes I do actually think they made out in this scene I just didn't buy into the val saliva theory) but you bringing up the different side of the lines from usual and the mirroring is a good point actually, I didn't realise that, honestly changed my mind and convinced me that yeah this specific case it is val's saliva

see the thing is, I do think it CAN mean he was making out with val I just don't think it NECESSARILY does cause of all the times it happens outside of val like I said. in this case, yeah they were probably making out LMAO.

in other cases, nope.

my thing isn't that I'm against the idea of it coming from val, it's more like some people act like it's a definite indicator that they were making out whenever vox has it, but I don't think that's the case at all, the red lines are definitely something vox can form by himself

Obviously Angel’s time with the Vees was terrible but I gotta wonder, knowing what kind of disasters they are, did he ever bear witness to embarrassing moments that the Vees would DIE from if knowledge of it ever got out?

Did Vox ever attempt to create a shitty music AI with his own voice that churned out the most garbage songs Hell would ever hear, especially the country ones, that Angel would be asked to dance in the music videos for? Eventually the crew convinced Vox that the music was too shit to release to the public and now the audio files are locked away no one has access to (Angel has access though. He always finds a way).

And did Velvette and Valentino ever get into arguments about Val misusing slang words in his scripts and one day Angel had to wait over an hour, tied to a bed in black dress waiting for them to stop debating about the appropriate usage of the word “YEET”? Needless to say he eventually opted to just take a nap. He was already hogtied to the bed anyway.

But also, did Angel and the crew ever have to witness Vox and Val airing their sexual frustrations with each other? I’m just imagining the poor crew bearing witness to the saddest display of a sexual tension-fueled argument that always ends with them dropping the most pathetic clap backs and disses at each other and one of them storming out like it’s a really shitty soap opera.

Meanwhile Angel is wondering if maybe he should just suggest the two of them just hook up and maybe they’ll both calm the fuck down.

But then they do hook up and they still don’t calm the fuck down.

Unfortunately for Angel he now knows way too much about the intricacies of Vox’s…anatomy from Val and whenever he has to hear about it he thinks, “Can you just get me high right now? I do not wanna be sober during this, please.” Also he comes to the conclusion that Vox is terrible in bed and Valentino has shit taste.

But then Vox begins bragging in uncomfortably hilarious and pathetic detail about the “sexy” things he and Val do to the point where not only does the crew question if this counts as sexual harassment, but Angel starts contemplating if HE needs to fuck Vox to get him to calm the fuck down because apparently Val is ALSO terrible in bed when with a consenting partner, and this loser is NOT gonna learn what good sex is otherwise.

This started out as a speculation in the dumb things Angel witnessed with the Vees and it just snowballed into Angel suffering through StaticMoth’s absurd bullshit because they’re both the fucking worst.

WHAT IS THIS HELP. I mean he did live in the v tower for a while he probably has seen a good chunk of shit. tbf there is a chance he was just high a lot of the time when it came to the vees' bullshit but this is funny

You know, I initially thought the allos can keep the Vees, not a fan of aspec Vees since they're all awful people, but I'm writing some QPRadioRose for RadioStatic week and your aspec aphobic Vees headcanon is just too funny. I keep cracking up. I'm still wary of Val being alloaro because he's a rapist so the absolute worst stereotype so we'd need another alloaro on the show but I'll figure it out. I might go with the idea Velvette clocks Alastor as aroace, tells him, and then does nothing to unpack any of that with him because that is not her monkeys, not her circus, not her suitcase, she doesn't go here. Still aphobic in that she nods along to whatever Valentino and Vox say and she doesn't think about it much since she's sex-neutral and feels OK about it doing it to humor Vox once in a while, I think. I dunno. I'll work it out. Just thought I'd let you know I've been cracking up about it all day working on this fic.
