Small Daifuku Headcanons 2 :
-When he yawns, you can be sure that Katakuri and Oven will also yawn. Even if they are not together.
-He can fall asleep everywhere, and anytime. He also fell asleep on Oven once and the younger one just didn't want to move, so was stuck for some hours.
-He doesn't drink alcohol. Please don't give him alcohol he can't take it.
-He's the one who found Katakuri's current scarf.

Charlotte Daifuku Headcanon 1 :
Tumblr media
Daifuku has a thing with cats, and felines in general.
Cats usually are close by if he's here, like he's a magnet. And he doesn't mind, he actually like the cats and it calms him down. He enjoys sitting on one of his sofa, drinking hot chocolate with purring cats on his lap and/or shoulders. It's his way to calm his stress.
The siblings actually spy on him when they know he's with his cats, because it's one of the only time that they see him smiling nd relaxed.
Perospero also owns cats, and if he needs someone to take care of them, he will definitly ask Daifuku without any hesitation.

Vocaloid song to Br没lee: 1) "welcome to mirror sound's kingdom" hitoshizuku x Yama. The Kagamines have a lot of songs about mirrors 2) " the portrait Grassred drew" mothy. Gumi character drew a portrait of a person dear to her who changed, and she remembers of when he was more himself in the past. Sounds a like what Br没lee wants to say to Katakuri.
ooo this is tempting me to make a Vocaloid playlist for the Charlottes (锛锯柦锛锯櫋 The first song fits the more of the family's aesthetic (all the "being invited and never being able to escape" biz). The second song, which is also my fav btw im trying not to be bias with Gumi I swear but her songs and her voice is really good hhh, some parts of the lyrics really hits home, like this:
You had become a different person
Yes, you were just like someone else
鈥揟he you in the picture isn鈥檛 around anymore
Talks about how Katakuri changed a lot after Brulee has been hurt.
Even if you were different from
What I remembered, if you were happy
I had thought perhaps it was okay, even so
Brulee would love him even if he has changed, as long as he was happy/content with the change he made. Which is why, even if Brulee had always known his brother isn't perfect, she still supported the reputation because she knows that's what Katakuri would have wanted.
It鈥檚 not that changing is bad
But what you really needed
Was to accept yourself without changing, too
But you couldn鈥檛 realize that
Brulee thinks that him changing for the sake of his family is not bad, but she knew what he really needed to accept that he was not bad, he wasn't the one who hurt her back then, and that he needed to accept his appearance (his teeth) isn't a problem that leads to his siblings being hurt. But he couldn't have realized that.
You continue to live
In these pictures I painted
Even if it鈥檚 not the appearance
You had wished for
Katakuri chose to live the way he is, and in the reputation he built. "In these pictures I painted," the pictures could mean Katakuri's "perfect" image or reputation, "I painted" could imply Brulee does feel a little guilty that she was partly the reason why Katakuri is living in the "picture" (ideal image) she "caused" (painted).
This picture is not what Katakuri had wished for, but he lived it still, for his family.
But arghh anyway, I may make a playlist huhu <3

How do you think the Charlotte kids bonded with each of their stepdads, like Pound? Did some actually consider them a father figure, albeit a temporary one, or do you think some didn't even bother, knowing what would become of them? It seemed that Pound knew Brul茅e and Oven pretty well, based on his interactions with them. ("Oven, don't you recognize me?!" or something along those lines)
I think they have considered them as family before Mama dumps them. The siblings would be non-hostile/amiable towards their stepfathers out of respect to their relationship with Mama, but that doesn't mean they think of each other nicely. Growing up with only a mother who made a bad image of fathers, the siblings would consider the stepfathers as outsiders at the end of the day. They are not like their family because they are expendable and can be easily replaced by a new husband/lover (yikes!)
I think the older ones would not bother at all, since they've seen it play out many times and it all ended the same way. The younger ones, however, may try to bond or play with their stepfathers. Though, they may think of their stepfathers as uncles (not literally uncle, but like the uncle role. Kind of hard to explain, but you get the idea) or an acquaintance of their mother, but ofc they'd still refer to them as stepfathers.
The reaction to the Charlotte siblings differ mostly on the stepfathers. So let's get a little dark for a moment: some of the fathers, if not most, are probably forced into the relationship like Pound was. Putting that into perspective, not every stepfather may have been as kind as Pound. Some of them may have completely not interact with the family, some of them might have cursed them their whole lives, some of them who are dumped and was able to survive may not want to see their children in the future unlike Pound - which are all totally understandable reasons. This plus the siblings default thinking of their stepfathers as outsiders creates mutual detachment to each other, therefore I think the siblings did not have jolly good times with their stepfathers at all times.
Within the 43 husbands, I'm sure there were also stepfathers who were as kind as Pound. They probably wanted to get the best out of the situation with Big Mom, and what better way than try to bond with his stepchildren? That's probably Pound's case, although sadly I do think that the siblings didn't like him that much. They probably considered him a weakling, and his efforts to bond with them is seen as pathetic attempts to invest for when the time comes and he's dumped, his stepchildren would pity and help him (which was not the case).

Do you think any of the Charlotte children were curious about their dads and tried to figure out who they were at one point in each of their lives?
They would have...mixed reactions. These are reactions they may have:
Curious but not too much. They'd wonder what a father is supposed to be, and how handful it is to have two parents (Mama was insatiable enough for their older siblings to handle). All their life, they've only known Mama, so they wouldn't think about their father that much. [The most likely ones to think this way are the youngest ones like Wafers & Anana]
Angsty. They'd question (but not in front of her) why Mama dumps their fathers not long after their birth. They'd begin to have some kind of disconnect to the family and wonder why their family is different compared to the families in the outside world, and they'd wonder if it's because they're missing a father. They would have a lot of what ifs. [This is also a brief phase most of them went through, more commonly in the siblings who weren't raised in Totto Land or has traveled the seas frequently]
Have tried to secretly trace their fathers, which most have led to failure. There are a few who may have found their fathers, but it was not satisfactory. [Only few of the siblings have tried this, siblings possibly Mascarpone & Joscarpone, Galette, Opera and in my hcs, Nougat, Noisette, Raisin]
The thought of their fathers' whereabouts had made them curious at some point, but they never found the drive to go figure out who they were. They're were probably not worthy anyway: what important reason could there possibly be to figure who they were when they were not even worthy enough for Mama? [Majority thinks this]
They absolutely do not care about their fathers. They probably forgot that they were even supposed to have fathers, but even if they do know, they don't care because the guy is either dead, made useful until death or kicked out to the other side of the map. [Majority thinks this, and also the most likely ones to think this way are the older ones: they've been through a lot to even care about having a father]
I do think for the most part they follow matriarchy and don't really care about the father. And also, Mama is their ruler and only parent role, they'd naturally learn/follow her ideas - if Mama doesn't approve of them, then they won't as well. Seeing how Mama treats marriages, they'd probably get the general idea of "fathers are not part of the family" so most of them didn't try to reconnect with them.
For those who have wondered/tried finding their father, I feel majority of them didn't meet them at all seeing how Mama treats her ex-husbands. However, those who were dumped and survived (like Pound) may have met their children who is trying to reach out to them. And as I have said, they're probably not satisfactory at all. The father would either:
be scared that his past is haunting him once more or think that Big Mom sent them to finish him off
be a stranger, because he never saw his child/ren after birth so he may see his kid/s as strangers
be angry, because they don't want anything to do with Big Mom or her children anymore
be relieved after seeing their kid/s at all, and may try to get the kid/s to live with him and away from Mama, which is traitorous in the Charlottes rulebook.
be relieved after seeing them, but they refuse to acknowledge their relation to the kid/s in public and refuse future contacting and further reconnection, which hurts the Charlotte siblings because clearly their father didn't fully acknowledge them as his child/ren.
Well at least, that's how I see it.

So Perospero is clearly INCREDIBLY strong and has a VERY high bounty (13th highest in the world!). He's 50 years old in One Piece, and I wonder a lot about his accomplishments as a fighter and pirate up till then. His Devil Fruit power is similar to some others we've seen, but the difference is, Perospero is much more skilled. He must have worked very hard to get where he is today. Idk, that's just something I think about a lot.
ooo yes, honestlyyy. Thirteenth highest? Damn that's SO cool. Imagine him when the Big Mom Pirates were still sailing, and all the battles he lost and won, and how every time his dear siblings rejoice whenever his bounty jumps higher! His reputation probably become more known when he began joining the Underworld affairs.
And his devil fruit! Yes, it is similar to other devil fruits like Katakuri and other df users (hm my memory is failing me oh my,,) Anyways, they have properties in common, both are viscous, sticky, amorphous, for mid-long range use, etc. Honestly, Peros' df could be just as any, but what makes it special is how he uses it. He can use it effectively both as offense (him stopping Bege in his Castle Tank form is amazing) and defense (candy wall, candy armor). It's versatile tbh, he can create anything out of it as he so wills, even infrastructures and objects. And also may I say that his Candy Maiden move is so so freaking cool!
He's a very hardworker if he could master his df like that, and also earn that high bounty!

Was there any sibling that was in an abusive or toxic relationship?
Kanten
Not my headcanon, but I do agree about that one where Kanten was married off early at age like Pudding and to a much older woman, and their relationship was very abusive (headcanon source). One thing the fic and my headcanon differs in is how Kanten got bandages (here's mine), but still I liked how the toxic relationship Kanten had somehow tied together on why the siblings were ready to eliminate Sanji on Pudding's wedding.
Amande
(I have read popular headcanons about Amande murdering her husband/s because of her epithet which may have hinted she was widowed, and I kind of agree on that headcanon)
I hc Amande having trust issues on other people who are not her family, and that this issue rooted from her childhood. This trust issue is one of the factors that fueled her motive on killing her four different husbands.
The first one was a fairly innocent man ("fairly," because he's still a pirate). There was a lot of uncertainty in their relationship, due to Amande's trust issues and the man never really had a relationship before. She slowly began to trust him, but one day in one of the missions, he never came back. She became obsessed in finding him, and when she did find him, she was very mad at him for abandoning his duty to the family. He was a traitor and a deserter, she killed him and wallowed in misery.
The second one she tried to faith in, as Mondee advised her. But she was wrong: he was a two-faced liar who faked loving her and her family only for his pirate crew to gain reputation for being part of a Yonko's crew, but talked about how disgusting and weird her long neck was, and made disgusting remarks about her family behind her back. She killed him too enthusiastically.
The third and fourth she did not love at all. The third she killed for hurting her beloved younger siblings, the fourth she killed because of mere suspicion and precautions. The fifth one was wise. He knew of her marriage history and reputation, he was aware that she has trouble trusting people (the siblings told him). He genuinely did want to try to love her despite it, but Amande was far too detached to love any more after all she has been through. She does see his efforts, but she refused to become vulnerable to anyone other than her family ever again. She killed him in his sleep.
She got two heart tattoos as a last piece of memory of her first and last husband, who loved her best.
(There's also another interesting headcanon about Amande's marriage, submitted by an anon. The hc about the heart tattoos actually belong to them! I'll post the headcanon separately)
Noisette
Married to a gold digger and a liar. She introduced herself as a royal daughter of a small kingdom, and offered her kingdom's soldiers in exchange for protection under Big Mom's flag.
She seemed like a very loving woman, she and Noisette were happily in love and lived together. After a year, her behavior began to change. She began asking odd questions like "Does Mama keep treasures? Where?", "How long will you be away?", "Can I borrow money?" Noisette happily provided everything she asked for him, he loved her without doubt.
One day, she disappeared. His siblings called him through den den mushi, asking why his reports on the finance were inaccurate and why there were unconsulted financial cuts. That day, they discovered that one of Noisette's ship was stolen, and that his wife was caught in the sea trying to escape Totto Land with many stolen treasures and money - those were the money she "borrowed" from Noisette.
When Noisette asked her if she even loved him, she said she never had. She was executed.
Laurin
His marriage was clear oil and water. He and his wife had never gotten along since the start, and their relationship had gotten worse to the point they physically hurt each other. That's where Laurin got his stitches from. One day, he couldn't tolerate her anymore, and killed her with an axe.
Cinnamon
Was in a mutual private relationship with a woman, until Mama had chosen her for an alliance, which she obliged because it was "her duty." Her husband was a pirate captain, and he was incredibly sexist and abusive. She still kept her relationship with the woman in secret, and her husband was mad when he found out. Behind her back, he killed her lover. Unlucky for him, Smoothie happened to witness the murder. She killed him on spot. When Smoothie confronted Cinnamon about it, Cinnamon could only wish she was the one to kill him. This is when she began to develop a great distaste in men.
Melise
Very self-entitled, a total himedere. She may seem like a sweet girl, but she actually has a very toxic attitude. She didn't marry, but she had many relationships that ended short because (1) she demanded too much of her lovers and doesn't do the same to them; (2) she doesn't love them at all - she gets infatuated, get into a relationship with them, she gets bored and leave them heart-broken.
Mobile
Is in a loveless marriage. He never thought of his wife as anything other than an ally to the family, and the woman thought the same. They ignored each other for the most part of their lives.

Rin in Tokyo Teddy Bear reminds me of Anana.
The character in the song (Neru?) does have a similar design to her (the plushie), plus some parts of the lyrics (the scissors, etc.) However, the song is leaning more on inflicting self harm than inflicting harm to others, which is what Anana does. Still, it does have similarities to her. On another note, the bass in the song SLAPS
