This is Sanguine. She helped form an off-color group deep within the slums of Homeworld, only to be banned for her irrationality, being unable to save a member from shattering; and losing another who has a visual impairment.

As for herself, she was owned by a Sunstone. Sunstones, in this AU, are judges, designed to hold trials for cases the Diamonds don't see as priority. After innocent Sanguine overheard her saying murder cases are 'fun to crack', she planted a case herself by shattering some gems for her.

She ends up getting caught and sentenced to death by her own owner, which she eventually makes her escape from and into the depths of Homeworld.

Fun Thornside Fact!

Thornside's glasses can both enlarge and detach from her face, making a typical tablet display. Instead of a Zircon's monicle, which can create as many displays as needed without detatching the eyepiece, Thornside can only have 2 displays at a time (both eyepieces.)

When on her face, they act as a HUD for scanning gems for court alignment, the side they're on and other gem information. Perfect for catching spies!
