An alter just to bless/curse the DM's dice is so petty AND BEAUTIFUL I LOVE IT.
I started playing dnd with a couple of friends of mine a few weeks ago (DM’d by my wonderful sister @emi-d-123), and we face our first boss next week.
I built an alter to Taliesin Jaffe in the hopes he’d bless my dice :|
Soon to follow: an alter to Wil Wheaton specifically for our DM’s dice
(for anyone interested: theres a picture of taliesin and a picture of his critical role character Percy, incense and candles, an arrow and feathers, a tiny spell book, and fresh mint and rosemary for protection and luck)
If you’re in the metropolitan area in Puerto Rico, there’s going to be a local book fair this weekend right here.
There’s going to be presentations of local projects as well as workshops and GASP I’ll be giving a workshop at 3pm.

“I’ve spent the last 35 years of my photographic career investigating movement and its expressive potential. My inspiration has always been photography’s ability to stop time and reveal what the naked eye cannot see. What intrigues me is making images that confound and confuse the viewer, but that the viewer knows, or suspects, really happened. The ostensible subject of my photographs may be motion, but the subtext is time. A dancer’s movements illustrate the passage of time, giving it a substance, materiality, and space. In my photographs, time is stopped, a split second becomes an eternity, and an ephemeral moment is solid as sculpture. My interest in photography is not to capture an image I see or even have in my mind, but to explore the potential of moments I can only begin to imagine. Thanks Jubilant Studios/Archatlas

Slight reminder to my non-Rican friends that the US leeches billions upon billions of dollars from us, we have no say in anything especially anymore with the “reform” that has taken away most of our rights, we pay same taxes as you people in outrageous numbers (right now at 11.5% on everything), AND have the most expensive import embargo that being the USA’s.
All of this is being ignored by the media and CNN, FOX and US media outlets keep pushing that WE’RE the ones leeching off of the mainland and it’ll cost YOU guys money to help us. This is bullshit. They’re killing us here and taking our rights away slowly. Please stop ignoring this.
“Black Girl Magic Lit Mag is a literary magazine created to address the lack of diverse, non-majority voices and characters in speculative fiction, especially Black women’s voices. Black Girl Magic Lit Mag believes that by showcasing stories featuring Black female voices and characters we can create a reflection of ourselves in the literature that we love, in a world where our images are constantly controlled, shaped, and distorted by those outside of our experiences .
This issue features a range of stories spanning Paranormal, Steampunk/Horror, and Zombies, as well as interviews of the authors. “
