Hi hi! Im not too sure if you answered this but I wanted to ask about your 3d models.

For the blinking how do you do that? What's your setup? Do you use nodes to cycle through the face textures? :0

HII youre the first one to ask that and honestly thats a good question, Its a simple setup, i just switch out the textures via nodes and keyframe it but to make things easier i have parented a controller bone to this node (ex. if i move this bone 1m to the right, the texture changes to a blinking one) i think there are multiple ways of doing it when working with 2d facial textures,,, this one is also cool! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ju5xlC6XsAY

Depending on how work goes this year it might be a while before the actual final piece sees the light of day - so I'm releasing the animatic for the Guards! Guards! animated trailer on the unsuspecting public. I was hoping it could work as both a trailer/intro animation to a non-existant Guards! Guards! animated show, and I think it turned out pretty neat! I hope you enjoy.

The way you draw pages with action is like an actual storyboard, or even like a rough animatic, it immediately lit up the animator part of my brain. This is literally animator to animator communication I just caught up with the comic and i am rotating the characters in my head like theyre in the microwave, i so wish to do more if uni gives me a break, thank ya for making tpoh( its so good)!!!!

I started reading The Property of Hate (2012-) webcomic and im liking it so far a lot so i animated 2 pages of it where the movement flowed so nicely in my head References below!!!

This webcomic strikes a nostalgia chord in me for some reason, its good of course, but i feel like i read it as a teen even that hasnt occured xd do you call this gaslight nostalgia anyways i feel really comfy reading it and imagining amv's of it to tally hall songs

Gamedev is on fire and my job is questionable so it's time to return to some side commissions. I'm opening a short queue of three spots (for a start). If interested send me an email with a character and type of commission you'd like! I'll let you know if the spot is still availble (might put you on the list for next batch), ask for some references and information (name, adress, paypal email for invoice - only needed for tax reasons!) and after payment I'll start working! I take payment upfront for prices under 40$ and half before, half after finishing for more costly options! I can draw characters from any setting and fandom (keep in mind for heavily stylised media that I'll do it in my style!), but extremely detailed details might cost extra. This is hildegunst von mythenmetz, a known Zamonian writer!! Basically, i wanted to redesign the books by hildegunst von mythenmetz Walter Moers in my style for uni....and these were the skecthes i did but to be fair i just wanted to draw more of Moerses characters xd

Ive known these books for a long time and its such a shame so little people know about them! Theyre mostly popular in germany and sadly they stopped translating them... Im not sure how i can sell you this series but City of Dreaming Books is great, it reminds me of grimms fairy tales but theyre humoristic as well, and moers did the illustrations for it himself... Recently a visual novel of the book i mentioned came out and its looking real pretty as well (also the books mostly feature non human characters which is cool for me i like creatures)

I've been learning art for almost a year and I'm almost finish with the fundamentals. I'm scared to post a whole lot cringe art in my tumblr because of my lack of experience. Has it been scary to post art for you? or were you confident posting anyway?

Hai!! Thats a good question:]] When it comes to posting art, i wouldnt actually consider myself a chronically online kid but i did post my stuff from a young age in closed communities such as transformice forums and facebook with irl friends and relatives on it (with excessive descriptions)

We could say i was confident because i didnt care!! And i didnt care for a long time, i think posting stuff should be an add-on to drawing, you dont draw to post but for yerself:]] If people scare you you can try doin that! Well maybe not posting where your irl people can see it but finding a small community where you can share your stuff What actually stressed me out was posting with an audience, i had cultivated quite a large following on twitter and it made me have dreams that i was doxxed over posting cheese and stuff like that xD

I kinda moved onto tumblr and im more comfy here, i am old man coded and i dont even know where the number of followers here is (nobody tell me i want to live in obliviousness) Id say find a comfy space and dont get discouraged when your art doesnt get much attention, it do be like that when you start out:]! And dont let it get in your head too agsdh, you can do this!
