okay americans i gotta ask because as an European i grew up with lots of american shows and cartoons and in a lot of them there was an episode where they give the protags a doll or an egg or a bag of flour or whatever and told them pretend to be its parents or something

#home ec was a requiered class in middle school. #i dont think my class did the project but i know other classes did while i was there #they did eggs #i watched a girl drop hers as she was leaving the classroom once #i tgink my older sister's year they used plastic lizards instead for some reason #what they dont include in shows is that its a whole unit on early childhood development #theres usually some nursery design aspect where you have to include shit to encourage early language development and color recognition #ive never met anyone who had partners though #that might be different in different areas tho #but realistically partners would really push unequal division of labor and is logistically difficult to plan

I made some sweet tea and it kind of tastes like bubblegum, so today I learned that bubblegum is peach flavored?

Not actually but it can be, it's sweetened fruit, citrus and spice flavors. The sweet tea im drinking has one biglows constant comfort (black tea with orange zest and warm spices) and two herbal peach bags with a good amount of honey, some sugar, and a pinch of salt. It tastes like bubblegum.

Daisy/how to become the duke's fiancee just ended and I think the author straight up forgot daisy had a younger sister she was taking care of? Like her not popping up regularly bc she's at school is one thing and her not appearing in the epilogue isn't wierd on its own, but daisy is briefly sent back to the bad timeline and just does not think about her younger, still alive and suffering in this timeline, sister even once.
