Remus Lupin x Reader
A/n: I lowkey hate this but it was inspired by the image of Sirius Black loving tequila and me thinking that all the muggle born students watching the others get drunk without it touching them was hilarious. This is based in their 7th year.
Summary: Muggle drinks and muggle drinking games.
Warnings: Drinking, mentions of underaged drinking, swearing, kissing, jealousy, fake ID
Word Count: 2232

(NOT MY GIF)
"Psst! Y/n! Over here!"
I spun my head around to see Christopher Adam's waving me over from the corner of the room, pointing enthusiastically at the plastic bag in his hands.
I smiled back at him and nodded enthusiastically.
"I'll be back now." I said to Sirius, who was spinning me around to the ABBA song playing before Chris had interrupted us.
"What does he want?" He asked with a quirked eyebrow "You got a new boyfriend or something?" He laughed slightly as I rolled my eyes and just walked away from him.
Me and some of the other muggle born students were starting to find these Gryffindor parties boring after the summer.
After partying at home with muggle drinks the classic fire whisky and witches brew just wasn't doing anything for us anymore, as funny as it was watching the pure and half bloods get extremely drunk so fast there's only so many parties you can do sober.
Hence Christopher.
A small group of us had gathered our money together and convinced Chris to use one of his approved trips to visit home to stop by a muggle store and complete a shopping list.
It took us a week to make him a fake ID good enough for him to pass as eighteen.
"So? How'd it go?" I asked, smiling brightly at him as I took the bag out of his hands.
"No hassle with the ID, although I did have to go to four stores so I didn't look suspicious buying this much alcohol for everyone." He rolled his eyes with a laugh.
"You're a lifesaver, we all owe you big time. Thank you!"
He just waved me off and I happily ran back over to the boys with the bag in my arms.
They were all giving the an identical look of speculation as I approached.
"What have you done?" James asked, trying to grab the bag off me before I pulled back.
"Why do you assume such little from me! I've gotten you all presents. Muggle presents actually."
Sirius perked up at that, excitedly shaking Remus's shoulders. Causing him to lean the other way with a smile.
"I'm about to show you all how muggles drink, because fire whisky is nothing in comparison. I've got fuck loads of things to share but I tried to get each of you something I thought you'd like."
"So it's alcohol?" Peter asked, now it was him having to push an excited Sirius away.
"Yep! For you Peter, gin. We don't have any tonic so drink it with lemonade, I think you'll like it though." He smiled widely as I handed him the rounded bottle, quickly opening it to smell it.
"It smells nice?"
"Yeah not all alcohol needs to smell like straight ass." I laughed nodding to the fire whisky in his other hand.
"James I've got you some muggle beers. I genuinely think this will change your life." I said with a laugh, handing him over the six pack as he looked at it bewildered.
"Like butter beer?"
"Kinda? Just a lot less sweet."
He nodded with a smile and popped the top of the bottle off, his smile growing as he tasted it.
"This is alcoholic?"
I laughed at him and turned to Sirius who looked like he was about to explode if I didn't show him what else was in the bag.
"Sirius I got you some tequila. There's some lime and salt on the table over there, you'll want them to take a shot. Lily will show you, she's been looking forward to it all night."
He took the bottle off me with a smirk before quickly hugging me from behind, placing an exaggerated kiss on the side of my face before running off.
"Thank you!"
I laughed at him, and watched James follow after him after a mention of Lily, Peter as always followed behind James.
"I hope you got yourself something, you're way too generous."
Remus said, sitting up on the table next to me with a soft smile.
"Oh don't worry I did." I reached to pull the large bottle from the bag "Some good old fashioned vodka for me."
He laughed at me and sniffed the bottle I held out in front of him, recoiling back.
"It smells horrible." He said with a laugh.
"That's how you know it's strong." I replied, coughing hard as I took a sip from the bottle. "I should probably mix it with some coke."
He laughed at me for a minute, nodding "Yeah, probably a good idea. I'll go get you some."
I placed an arm in front of him as he went to move to stop him.
"Not so quick Lupin, didn't think I'd forget you did I?"
"You didn't have to get me anything." A small blush covered his cheeks, reassuring me that I made the right call with getting him something.
"That's why you're my favourite."
"Wow I always thought Sirius was your favourite." He replied with a chuckle.
"Yeah well don't tell him, it would crush him."
He continued to laugh as I pulled the bottle of red wine out of my bag, passing it over to him.
"I think you'll like it, not as strong as the others but you'll enjoy it."
He looked over the bottle inquisitively.
"Thank you, I'll go pour myself a glass and grab you that coke." He smiled warmly at me, squeezing my knee as he got up.
My eyes followed him across the room, I smiled as I watched him interact with an already drunk Sirius who was shouting about the impressive feat of muggle alcohol.
"You're drooling." Mary said from behind me, causing me to jump and hit her in the arm.
"Shut up."
~~~~~
"So you've all been enjoying the muggle drinks, how about a muggle game to go with it!" Marls shouted from the middle of the room, clearly drunk.
A large group slowly made their way into a circle on the floor as Marls enthusiastically went around the room trying to gather a large enough group.
Remus groaned as I pulled him off the wall he was leaning on and led him towards the floor, an obvious smile on his face.
"Ok so you spin the bottle." She giggled while placing one of James's now empty beer bottles into the middle of the group. "You and whoever it lands on go into the broom cupboard for seven minutes. What happens is there is up to you." She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively whilst laughing as the game began.
As the circle slowly made its way around I found myself hunched over onto Remus in a fit of laughter at Sirius and Peters faces as they came out of the cupboard looking very unamused.
As the group calmed down Sirius took his seat back next to me in the circle and most eyes moved towards me.
I giggled awkwardly before leaning forward and spinning the bottle as hard as I could.
As I lent back and watched it spin I silently prayed that it would land on the boy sat next to me who seemed to be avoiding my eye contact as everyone made a drum roll sound around us.
Much to my dismay instead of landing on Remus the bottle instead pointed towards the one and only James Potter whose face went bright red.
I laughed softly and stood up, watching him as he followed. The room whistling as we made our way into the small space.
If it wasn't gonna land on Remus James would've probably been my second choice, he was to in love with Lily to ever make a move on someone else. And I felt the same way about our best friend.
"So this isn't awkward." I joked with a smile.
He just half way laughed in response.
"Everything okay?" I asked, my eyes adjusting in the dark to make out his figure.
"Yeah it's stupid, Lily's just been avoiding me all night. I know I make a fool of myself for her but sometimes I just wish that she would just look at me." He sighed, leaning against the wall.
"Maybe she is and you're just not seeing?"
"Trust me, I'd see." He sadly laughed and I patted his shoulder comfortingly before getting an idea.
"I've got a way that would get her to look at you."
He turned to look at me with what I guessed was a confused expression.
I reached up to unbutton the first two buttons of his shirt.
"Whoa Y/n what are you doing?"
I laughed slighting at him, shaking my head.
"No I'm not doing that, trust me."
I reached up to ruffle my hand through his hair to make it messier, then moving to untuck one side of his shirt.
"Yeah she'll look at me if I look like shit. Is that the plan?" He laughed slightly and I softly hit him with the back of my hand.
I messed my own hair up as well, also shifting my clothes so they were slightly askew.
"Jealousy is the plan James."
It seemed to click with him then and despite the dark I could see the red blush on his face.
"You really think that'll work?"
"I hate to say it but if one thing will make her notice you, it's thinking that you might've noticed someone else. I'm also really drunk so this might be a bad plan."
He laughed at me, covering his mouth to try and stay quieter.
"I'm drunk enough to give it a go." He responded with a smile.
"Last touch." I reached up to move his glasses to sit crooked on his face with a laugh.
"There, perfect. Let's get you your lady."
As I spoke there was a knock at the door, and a second later Sirius Black swung them open.
"Merlin! Didn't see that happening." He said with a laugh, looking between us in disbelief "I always thought you were into Moony Y/n."
James punched him softly in the arm, shaking his head and I just walked past silently, trying to shake the blush off of my face and hoping everyone was just ignoring the obviously drunk pure blood.
I made my way back over to the circle but before I could sit back down Remus had already stood from his spot next to me and walked out of the common room with his bottle of wine.
~~~~~
I'd been wandering the castle grounds looking for Remus for the last thirty minutes.
The party had died down and everyone was so drunk most of them had passed out by now.
I was buzzed enough that the cold wasn't bothering me but I couldn't for the life of me figure out where Remus would've gone.
I sat on the floor against the railing as I finally got to the top of the astronomy tower, the vodka and the amount of stairs I just climbed had knocked the wind out of me.
"Y/n?"
A familiar voice said from next to me, making me jump.
"Jesus, I've been looking for you." I smiled at him but he only held my eye contact for a second before looking back out to the night sky.
"You disappeared, it got boring without you."
He laughed slightly and shook his head, his cheeks turning a shade of pink.
"I'm sure it was fine without me. You and James sure didn't look bored." He chuckled awkwardly making me quirk an eyebrow at him.
"What? Me and James?"
He just nodded, avoiding my eyes.
"James definitely isn't bored, Lily's been all over him all night." I laughed softly and he just looked at me inquisitively.
"Aren't you upset by that?"
"Upset? Why would I be upset? Honestly I think it's a miracle."
He laughed slightly at that and finally looked back over to me.
"But you and James were snogging each other? Was that just a joke or something?"
I just looked at him confused for a second before breaking out into giggles.
"Oh you didn't actually think we did that? Gross no! I just thought that it would make Lily jealous. It worked by the way."
He seemed to think for a second before a small smile finally made its way onto his face.
"Oh, so you didn't actually kiss him?"
I snorted, covering my face quickly in embarrassment.
"No no, I just messed up his hair and unbuttoned his shirt a little. He's not my type."
Remus laughed quietly at that, relaxing a little.
"Good."
I nudged him lightly with my elbow, sliding over to sit next to him, bumping our knees together.
"Careful Lupin it almost feels like you're jealous."
He just looked at me for a second, a little smile on his face as he moved to stand up, offering me his hand.
"Maybe I was." He chuckled softly and pulled me to my feet as I just looked at him dazed.
"C'mon I'll walk you back to your dorm." He threaded our fingers together and went to walk but I didn't move.
"I wanted the bottle to land on you, for the record."
We both stood there for a second, just looking at each other before he grabbed my chin softly and lent down.
I never really liked the taste of red wine until that night.

James Potter x Black! Reader
A/n: This is inspired by the song The Water Is Fine by Chloe Ament and I tried to write proper conflict in this and I don't think it's great lol
Summary: After retuning home for Christmas you end up following in the footsteps of Sirius.
Warnings: Blood, cuts, abuse, swearing, arguing, she/her, reader is a member of the Black family and is the same age as Sirius but isn't called a twin or described in anyway.
Word Count: 2890

(NOT MY GIF)
I walked into the great hall with a quicker pace than normal since I'd accidentally slept in a little and still wanted time for breakfast before the train left for Christmas break.
I spotted my brother and our friends sat on the Gryffindor table laughing at something as I approached, causing my speed to pick up even more.
"Morning!" I said whilst wrapping my arms around James's shoulders from behind him before pressing a quick kiss to his head and taking a seat in the spot left empty next to him.
"You're cutting it very close." James said with a laugh, kissing my cheek in response, his arm resting over my shoulders as I began to load my plate with breakfast.
"I know, I slept in and realised I hadn't done my packing."
"Organised as ever." Sirius said with a laugh, shaking his head disapprovingly.
"You're one to talk." Remus laughed from next to him.
James coughed awkwardly and looked down at me with a more serious face, "So, have you made up your mind on where you're spending Christmas?"
James and Sirius had been trying to persuade me to spend Christmas with the Potters for weeks now, Remus was spending New Years there as well and Peter only lived five minutes away so we could all be together.
I shook my head slightly and turned away from the boy, picking at the breakfast in front of me. "I don't know still, I'll decide on the train."
"C'mon love, please? I don't like the idea of you being stuck in that house with those people for two weeks. They won't even let you send me an owl so I know you're okay."
His pleading was cut off by the squawking of the owls delivering the mail from above us.
Two small black envelopes were dropped onto the table in front of us, causing me and Sirius to look at each other with an identical worried look in our eyes.
I picked up the one addressed to me and inspected it for a moment. Looking up and over at the Slytherin table to see Regulus already looking at me nervously, the same black envelope in his hands.
I sighed and slowly opened it, the silence that had now taken over our small group as they watched me and Sirius not helping with the anxiety growing in the back of my throat.
'Dearest Y/n, You are expected for an appearance at the Black home immediately for the Christmas holidays. Alliances must be made immediately and we intrust in you to make the correct decision. Orion and Walburga Black.'
I look up from the paper to see Sirius rolling his eyes and using his want to quickly set his letter aflame.
"They can't be serious." James said from next to me, obviously reading from over my shoulder.
"On what part?" I said with a sigh, folding the letter into a small square and slipping it into my pocket.
"On what part? The allegiances must be made part, obviously!" He said with a raised eyebrow.
"You can't be seriously considering still going? After what they're obviously asking from us?" Sirius said, giving me an unreadable look as he shook his head.
"We don't know exactly what they're asking yet. I mean I don't know how they'll react if neither of us go!" I look over his shoulder to see regulus looking at me again, his hands shaking slightly as he held the letter, his nervousness obvious to anyone.
"It's obvious what their asking Y/n, your not stupid. They want a decree of allegiance to the dark lord what else?" Sirius said, obviously pissed of that my letter wasn't in a pile of ashes next to his.
"Sirius I can't leave Regulus there alone! They probably just want us to attend a meeting or something. I might even get some information that could help Dumbledoor. I have to go Reggie's can't deal with this alone."
He huffed at me, quickly standing from the table angrily "Well I hope you have a very merry fucking Christmas then, I'll see you in the new year if you haven't already been made into a death eater."
He stormed out of the hall before I could respond, Remus running after him with an apologetic look.
I pushed the plate in front of me away, suddenly loosing my appetite.
"You okay?" James asked gently, rubbing my shoulder.
I sighed and nodded, spotting Regulus trying to wave me over in the corner of my eye.
"I will be. I just need to sort this out."
~~~~~
It was obvious that Sirius didn't want me joining their carriage on the way back and since I didn't fancy the idea of sitting with Reggie's friends either I decided to just look for an empty carriage.
After finally finding one at the end of the train I took a seat, pulling the letter out of my pocket and re-reading it again and again.
"Mind if I join you?" My boyfriend's voice said from the doorway.
I looked up with a smile, scrunching the paper back into my pocket as I nodded at him.
"Of course you can."
He smiled back and took the seat next to me, pressing a gentle kiss to my lips before pulling me into his side for a hug.
"What're you thinking?"
I shrugged slightly and sighed again.
"Honestly James I don't know what to do. I don't want Sirius to be mad at me and I'd love to spend the next two weeks with you but I don't think I can bring myself to leave Reggie there alone. I know what that house is like James, I know what they do. I always had Sirius, I wouldn't have gotten through it alone. He needs me there."
James took a deep breath, obviously upset by the conversation.
"Y/n/n I know what you mean, but please. I'll do anything if you followed me off this train and spent the next two weeks in my house, singing carols, opening presents, cuddling by the fire and drinking hot chocolate. That's what Christmas should be, not being in that cold house. I don't know what it's like I know, but from what Sirius has told me I know that you shouldn't be there. Please, I'm begging you."
I looked up at him to be met with desperate eyes. I lent in to press another soft kiss against his lips, letting my fingers caress his cheek even after I pulled away.
He rested his forehead against mine and used his arm to try and pull me even closer.
"I'm sorry James, truly. But I can't spend Christmas happy knowing what they might be doing to him. I'll be okay. I promise."
He didn't respond for a moment before just giving me a small nod and pulling me tight against his chest.
~~~~~
My mother was furious when Sirius followed after James at the station, and she was even more furious when James gave my head a gentle kiss goodbye.
She harshly gripped Regulus's arm and apparated away without looking at me.
I sighed before looking over my shoulder to see James, Sirius and Peter looking at me.
I offered a small wave and apparated away before they could respond and possibly convince me to change my mind.
As I appeared in the living room of my house I was met with my family and a few faces of men I hadn't met before.
"Follow me." My mother's voice said sternly as she swept away from the room and down the corridor.
I glanced over at Reggie who looked terrified and offered him a reassuring smile before following after her into my bedroom.
"So the Potters have sunk their teeth into you as well?" She asked after the door was shut.
Her voice still made my blood run cold, although her intimidating presence no longer held the same effect as it did when I was younger.
"I'm here aren't I?" I tried to sound strong, self assured. Like a Black would.
"Their a family of blood traitors, just like your brother. There will be no more of that from now on."
I didn't respond to that, instead just looking away from her eyes and clearing my throat to try and build my confidence again.
"What was that letter about?"
She straightened up slightly, obviously ready to deliver news that she knew there would be a reaction to.
"As you know things are changing, the Dark Lord is rightfully raising to power and it has become time for everyone to decide what they think is right. As you know your brothers already made his decision and we will have no more embarrassment put on this house. Orders have been put in place to ensure that."
"Orders?"
"You and Regulus are lucky to hold the Black family name and we expect you to wear that privilege with pride. That means no more messing about with the Potters it's time to make your family proud. Your allegiances will be cemented today and you my dear, will be Married off to the Rosier boy to continue this noble bloodline and ensure that you don't follow in your good for nothing brother's footsteps."
I looked at her dumbfounded for a second. "Evan? You can't be serious-"
Before I had a chance to argue my point I was cut off by the sound of Regulus's screams from the other side of the door.
"What was that? What're they doing to him!" I rushed towards the door but she had caught my wrist before I could move.
"Your brother is making the correct decision."
"Decision, what?" I looked at her with confusion before my eyes caught a glimpse of the mark that covered her arm and I felt a chill down my back at what was happening.
"No. No way. He's sixteen you can't brand him like that!" I ripped my arm away from her and made a move towards the door. Before I could open it though I felt a sharp cutting pain shoot up my leg.
I fell to the floor with a yelp and looked up to see my mother holding her wand sternly towards me.
The sharp burning pain was agonising but I clenched my teeth as hard as I could, refusing to give in.
"You are an adult Y/n. This is your birth right. Take it." She lent down and grabbed my arm, yanking me up to her height again. The weight on my burning leg causing me to let out a short scream.
"This isn't right. I'm not allowing you to do this to me, to him. I won't do it. I'm not marrying Evan, and I'm sure as hell not pledging my allegiance to the Dark Lord!" I shouted through gritted teeth, tears quickly streaming down my cheeks despite my best efforts.
She let go of the spell she had cast against my left leg, causing me to let out a breath of relief despite feeling the blood dripping into my shoes.
"I am your mother." Her wand now pressed against my arm, hard. "This is my blood that runs in you, the blood of hundreds of years of purity and strength. The blood of the noble house of black! This blood runs thicker than anything. You are my daughter! My skin! My flesh! My soul! You have no say in the matter, you do as I say or you pay for it!"
I could feel blood dripping from my wrist as well now, I glanced down to see the shape of a T and an R being carved against my skin in her neat handwriting.
I took a couple shaky breathes, and thanked Merlin that my adrenaline seemed to numb the pain slightly.
"I am not my family. And maybe if you weren't you would still have a son and daughter. You are a sick, sad, bitter woman who'll live the rest of her life in misery until she dies a forgetful and deserved death. You'll rot."
She stared at me, her wand pushing harder against my arm as the pain quickened. Neither of us spoke for a second before I ungritted my teeth so I could spit on her face.
She didn't respond for a second, her face full of fury before I felt a swift sting to my face as she slapped me, hard.
She'd used magic to punish me and Sirius before, but never her own hand.
She screamed before withdrawing her wand from my arm and casting a spell that dropped me back to the floor, screaming in pain as my whole body felt like it was on fire.
I laid there for a second, trying to muster the strength to move as she held the spell over me. I thought of Sirius and Regulus, and us playing outside by the lake as kids. And I thought of James and how he held me, how he made me feel save and happy. How he taught me what a home actually was.
My hand shifted to the pocket of my robes slowly, gripping my wand as tightly into my hand as I could.
I used any and all the strength I had left to pull it out, casting a spell I never thought I would against my own mother.
"Crusio!"
She dropped to her own knees with a scream, calling me every name under the sun as she writhed on the floor.
I watched horrified for a second before I saw the door open, my father's furious face prompting me to apparate out of there as quickly as I could before he could reach me.
Before I knew what was happening I was laying on the porch of the Potters house, every bone in my body burning and aching as I used the only strength I had left to weakly knock on the door.
It took a second but before I knew it the door opened to the smell of firewood, mint and vanilla and I knew he was there.
"Y/n? Merlin!"
I felt his arms wrap around my and lift me off the floor and the second I entered his embrace I allowed myself to let go, to cry.
"Mum! Dad! Sirius! Help! Please!"
The panic in his voice caused me to grip onto his shirt as hard as I could and that's the last I heard before everything went silent.
~~~~~
I woke up in the most comforting bed I could image. The reassuring smell of James engulfed me and soothed my aching body as my eyes adjusted to the warm light of the room.
James was asleep on the arm chair next to the bed, a worry line creasing his forehead and I felt a pang of guilt in my gut for what I probably put him through.
I sat up slightly, feeling a pain shoot up from my leg. I looked under the covers to see that my leg had been carefully wrapped in a bandage up to my knee and I spotted from the corner of my eye that my arm had a matching one.
I slowly unwrapped my arm to assess the damage and let out a quiet gasp when I saw the word 'traitor' neatly carved against my skin.
I felt a few tears roll down my cheek as I quickly tried to wrap it back up, not wanting to look at the word.
"My mum said it shouldn't scar, Pomfrey is coming by tomorrow with some ointment for it. If it does leave any mark it should be faint. Your leg was the problem." James's sleepy voice said from next to me, he carefully took my arm to re-wrap the bandage himself since my hands were shaking to much.
"Jamie I'm so sorry." I said with a sniff, causing the boy to frown at me.
He walked around to climb into bed next to me, pulling me into his arms gently.
"None of this is your fault, at all. You don't deserve any of it." He kissed my hair, letting his face rest there for a moment.
"I should've just came back with you. I tried to get to Reggie, I really did. But it was already too late and she wouldn't let me go to him. She wanted me to get the mark and marry Rosier, Regulus already has it. I couldn't help him." I cried softly into his shoulder as he smoothed my hair comfortingly.
"You're never going back there, they can't hurt you anymore. Regulus will be okay, he's welcome here if he decides to leave. But I'm here now, nothings going to hurt you when I'm around. I promise."
I nodded, allowing him to wipe the tears from my cheeks before leaning in to kiss him.
I was safe in his arms, in his bed, in his home. The looming knowledge of the war was pushed away by his room. The sense of home breaking my thoughts away from anything other than him.
Him and his soft hair, his infectious smile, his gentle laugh and his addictive touch.
"I love you so much." I said as his lips pulled away, resting my head against his and rubbing our noses together softly.
"I love you too"
Ok so I told myself I would write at least one thing for each of the characters on my request list just to round my account off but I’m in such a Hogwarts legacy and marauders phase right now I can’t think of anything else so I’m doing another poll to decide what to do next lol
I’m thinking for either James Potter x Black! Reader or the Sebastian Sallow x Gaunt! Reader to be inspired by the song The Water Is Fine by Chloe Ament
Sebastian Sallow x Slytherin! reader
A/n: This is my first Hogwarts Legacy fic so I'm sorry if some of the characters aren't written great. I also haven't finished the game yet so I'm sorry if the plot references are a little off as well. This is inspired by the Taylor Swift song btw. Also if you haven't noticed I love writing the Yule Ball lol
Summary: Seb is jealous when someone asks you to the ball before he can.
Warnings: Badly written arguments, some swearing, a tiny mention of drinking, reader uses Y/n and she/her pronouns, also reader is briefly mentioned wearing a dress and skirt, kissing, not proof read
"Y/n are you coming to Hogsmead? We're shopping for the Yule Ball." Poppy asked with a smile as she closed the book in front of her.
Me, Poppy, Imelda, Nattie, Sebastian and Garreth had been sat in the Great Hall studying for the past hour and it seemed like we were finally giving up.
"I don't think I can, I have a stack of books to take back to the library before three or I've got detention for a week again." I responded with a frown, gesturing to the stack of books next to me making Sebastian chuckle a bit.
"Of course you do." He said from opposite me with an eye roll.
"As if your one to talk Sallow you haven't had a free evening since first year." Imelda said from next to him causing him to roll his eyes and look back down at his book.
"But Y/n if you don't come when will you get your dress?" Nattie asked from next to me, also closing her book and stuffing it into her bag.
I just shrugged with a smile, beginning to gather my things as well "I'm still not sure if I'm definitely going, I still haven't got a date and I haven't got enough time to get anything to wear. If I do go I'll probably just grab something last minute."
"No you can't do that. I'll take your books back to the library for you, you should go to Hogsmead. You never know when someone might ask you." Garreth said with a chipper voice from the other side of me, he slid my stack of books in front of himself before getting up from the table.
"Thanks Garreth you really don't need to." I smiled at him as he gathered his things into his arms.
He smiled back, squeezing my shoulder with one hand before beginning to walk off "it's my pleasure!" He shouted over his shoulder.
"What was that about?" Poppy asked with a squeal, sliding into Garreth's spot next to me. "I think someone might have a crush."
I laughed and shook my head "What Garreth on me? As if! He doesn't think of me that way."
The girls all laughed and gave me different looks that all seemed as if they were trying to say the same thing.
"Y/n he's definitely into you, and I'm never wrong." Imelda said in her usual knowing voice.
Sebastian quickly stood from the table, yanking his bag with him "I'll see you guys later." He said in an annoyed voice, walking off and out of the hall quickly.
"Why's he in such a bad mood all of a sudden?" Nattie asked with a quirked eyebrow.
Imelda rolled her eyes dramatically "When isn't he."
~~~~~
Me and Imelda tried to keep our laughter as quiet as possible as we snuck back into the common room. It was only thirty minutes past curfew but we'd both be in detention if anyone saw us.
We'd both taken our robes off since the rain had been so heavy that they had began to drag us down, our shirts and skirts were clinging to our skin uncomfortably and my hair had stuck its self to my face. Despite our best efforts the four of us couldn't fit under Poppy's little umbrella and the sky had decided to begin the hardest rain I'd ever seen the second we left the dress shop.
"I call the first shower!" Imelda yelled with a giggle as we entered the warm common room.
"No that's unfair!"
"I've got broom practice in the morning I need to go to bed!" She argued as we walked into the main part of the room.
I spotted Seb sat infront of the fire with a book in his hands which made me smile slightly.
"Fine go have a shower, I'll sit by the fire."
She smiled at me and ran off before I could change my mind, taking the bag with our dresses in with her.
"Your back late." Sebastian said once she'd left the room, I walked over to sit on the little sofa next to him.
"Got a bit carried away I guess." I replied with a laugh "What're you still doing up?"
He shrugged, closing the book that was on his lap and placing it on the table next to us "Wanted to finish my book, and I figured I'd make sure you'd gotten back okay."
"I can take care of myself you know?" I kicked my shoes off so I could bring my feet up onto the sofa.
"Yeah trust me I know. Merlin your soaking?" He laughed at me, moving some of the wet hair that had cemented itself to my forehead off of my face for me.
"Oh yeah? Want a hug?" I laughed, opening my arms and moving towards him.
He pulled far away from me, drawing into himself but not getting off the sofa.
"Don't you dare. I swear I will curse you."
"Oh yeah? Prove it." I laughed and threw myself onto his lap, wrapping my wet and cold arms around him. He pretended to fight me off for a minute with a laugh before allowing me to just rest my weight on him.
"Merlin, you're freezing." He smiled whilst shaking his head, pulling a blanket over the both of us.
"Not all of us have the luxury of being able to spend all evening reading by the fire. I've fought dragons and I believe that was easier than finding a dress for this godforsaken ball."
He looked down at me with a smile, using his thumb to wipe the drops of rain that were still on my cheeks away, his nose brushing against mine slightly.
"About the ball-"
"Y/n the showers free!" Imelda's voice yelled from the direction of the seventh year girls dormitory, obviously not caring if she woke someone up.
"You should probably go have a warm shower before you catch a cold." He said, sitting up a little straighter.
I moved off him with an awkward cough and nodded, "What were you about to say?"
"Oh it was nothing. I'll see you tomorrow." He grabbed his book and disappeared into the boys dormitory before I could respond.
A stupid part of me thought that he might've been about to ask me to go with him, I've had a crush on him since our adventures in fifth year but it's stupid of me to think he'd see me that way now. It's been this many years of being his best friend it's just something I've learned to live with.
~~~~~
"How was the dress shopping?" Garreth asked, taking a seat next to me at breakfast.
"It was really good, thanks for taking those books back for me again. If there's anything I can do to say thanks just let me know." I smiled at the boy as he cleared his throat awkwardly.
"Actually there is, I was wondering if you maybe would want to go to the ball with me? If you don't want to that's totally fine but I thought I'd just asked, I've liked you for a little bit but I don't want to make this friendship awkward." The poor boy was speaking so quickly that he was skipping over his words whilst tapping his foot quite loudly on the floor.
I saw Sebastian look up over his book from the corner of my eye.
"Merlin Weasley, could you be any smoother?" He said with a laugh, his voice cracking slightly at the beginning of his sentence.
Garreth went an ever brighter shade of red and looked wordlessly away from Sebastian "never mind it was a stupid question anyway."
"Wait Garreth, I'd love to go to the ball with you." I said with a smile, shooting Sebastian a look.
"Really?" "Really?"
Both Garreth and Sebastian said at the same time, gaining Sebastian a harsh elbow from Ominis next to him.
"Really."
Garreth smiled widely, giving Sebastian a smug look from across the table.
Seb just rolled his eyes at him, dropping his fork as he stood up, leaving the great hall without eating any of his breakfast.
"What's bothering him?" Garreth asked from next to me as Ominis shrugged.
"You know what he's like, he's probably not heard off Anne for a while." Ominis said with an awkward pause, causing me to quirk an eyebrow.
"I'm gonna go check on him, I'll see you guys in potions." I said, standing from the table and walking out to the courtyard.
I spotted the Slytherin boy sat on the wall overlooking the boathouse and headed over to him.
"What's wrong with you recently?" I asked, standing next to him.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"You've been acting off, is everything okay with Anne?"
He rolled his eyes, not that he'd turned to look at me anyway.
"Yes, not everything I do and feel revolves around her you know."
"I know I just thought-"
"Well stop thinking for me. Why're you out here anyway? Surely you could be planning out your evening with Weasley inside?"
"Is that what this is about? You're annoyed at me for saying yes?"
"Don't be so full of yourself Y/n I couldn't care less who you go to the ball with."
"Then what's wrong?"
"Nothing! Merlin why don't you know how to leave things alone!"
"Why're you being so mean to me all of a sudden? I just want to make sure my best friend is okay! You were all smiley and happy with me last night what's happened that's upset you?"
He scoffed, standing up from the wall "Y/n everyone is your 'best friend' I don't mean anything more to you than Professor Garlick does don't pretend differently."
"Seb you know you mean the world to me what are you talking about?"
He rolled his eyes with a small laugh. "As if Y/n, we're only friends because I needed help with Anne and you wanted me to teach you spells that Fig couldn't. And look now we're stuck with each other for no reason! Don't pretend to be my friend."
My eyes pricked slightly at his words as I shook my head at him. "You're an asshole Sallow, I don't know why I keep putting you first. Fuck you."
"Oh fuck off you've never put anyone but yourself first."
I turned around and walked off before he could see me cry. Heading straight back down into the Slytherin dormitories.
~~~~~
It was finally the day of the Yule Ball and me, Imelda, Nattie and Poppy were all piled into Poppy's dormitory getting ready.
Nattie was putting my makeup on for me as Poppy tied Imelda's hair up for her.
"Are you guys excited!" Poppy asked with a big smile, her long pink dress complimented her smile and eyes perfectly and she somehow seemed to be smiling wider than ever.
"Yeah I am actually." Imelda said as she admired her now done hair in the mirror, she had on a little black dress, a little less formal than the other dresses but allowed her to move around a lot easier and suited her personality well.
"Wow that's the most excited I've seen her talk about something other than flying." I said with a laugh, having to dodge the makeup brush she sent flying at my head with a laugh.
Nattie gave her a look before finishing the last of my makeup with a smile. "There, perfect."
I smiled back at her and thanked her before turning to help her finish her eyeliner.
Nattie had a beautifully patterned red and gold dress on, the perfect dress for any proud Gryffindor and she pulled it off better than I could imagine anyone else.
"Have you spoken to Sallow yet?" Poppy asked handing a small flask of fire whisky around the room.
I sighed and shook my head slightly.
"Nope, I've lost track of which one of us is avoiding the other now. I'm not speaking to him until he apologises though and I doubt that's going to happen."
"Do you know what's actually wrong with him?" Nattie asked, handing me the flask now that I'd finished her makeup.
I shook my head and took a large sip from the flask, trying not to flinch at the taste.
"No Ominis doesn't want to be in the middle so he won't talk to me about it."
Imelda shook her head and pulled me and Nattie up onto our feet. "It's his loss anyway, look at yourself you don't need him. Garreth's jaw is going to be on the floor."
I laughed slightly at her and smoothed my green dress out whilst looking in the mirror, she did have a point.
"Come on we're going to be late." Poppy said, dragging us out of the Hufflepuff common room.
"So what exactly is the situation with you and Weasley?" Nattie asked as we made our way to the great hall.
"There's no situation, we're just friends, we spoke about it the other day. He said he does have a little crush but Professor Weasley was pushing him to get a date and he figured he'd just ask. We're not dating or anything I don't feel that way about him."
She nodded along to my words as we approached the hall, music growing louder and louder.
Poppy was leading the group, looking around in awe at the decorations as we entered the hall.
The girls split off eventually, all heading off to their dates and Garreth came over to me with his arm out.
"Want to dance?"
"Wow Weasley I didn't know you could." I said with a laugh, nodding as I took his arm and we joined in with the couples dancing in synch around the room.
"I can't but my aunt will tell my mum if we spend the whole night trying to slip fire whisky in the punch."
I laughed at him and looked over his shoulder to see professor Weasley looking at us with an approving smile.
We danced for a while until we had to stop because I was laughing too hard, a mix of the fire whiskey and Garreth's clumsiness of stepping on me or into a nearby object had cracked me up to the point of needing to sit down to catch my breath.
He laughed next to me as I lent my forehead on his shoulder to catch my breath.
I wiped a tear from under my eye as I composed myself, hoping the laughter hadn't ruined my makeup but the end of the night was nearing quickly enough that it hardly mattered anymore.
I looked around the hall, smiling as I saw the girls dancing with their dates, even Ominis was twirling a girl around in the corner.
"Everyone seems to be having a great night." I said with a smile.
Garreth nodded next to me "it's nice to see everyone chilling out after exams."
"Oh yeah because you were so focused on studying." I said with a snort.
"I wasn't talking about me." He laughed at shook his head.
I looked across the room and locked eyes with Sebastian who was stood alone in the corner, leaning against the wall.
He did look handsome in his dress robes, although all formality of his attire seemed to have been discarded. His robes were no where to be seen, his shirt sleeves had been pulled up to his elbows and his tie had been loosed enough to allow him to undo the top two buttons of his shirt, and his black waistcoat had been completely undone.
It suited him more than a formal look though. He hadn't even bothered to do his hair properly, letting it fall over his face.
He looked away from me for a second, putting his glass down on the table next to him and exiting the hall.
"I'm really sorry but do you mind if I head out a sec?" I asked looking over to Garreth who was already looking at me, most likely catching the small interaction.
He cleared his throat and nodded "Yeah of course, I wanted to mess with the punch anyway. I'll catch you later."
He gave me a small smile and I nodded "thank you."
He just gave me a small nod and I got up, crossing the room to head out the same doors as Sebastian did,entering the courtyard.
He was leaning over the wall and looking out over the hills. The rain hadn't stopped all week and Sebastian already looked like he'd gone for a swim in the lake.
I hesitated for a second and with a sigh I walked out onto the cobble stone, feeling the cold rain soak my whole outfit before I'd even taken two steps.
I walked over next to him and lent against the wall as well, not looking up at him and instead over the mountains that surrounded the school.
"Hey." I said quietly, bracing for some sort of anger to be thrown back at me.
"Hey." Was all I got back, a much more gentle and quiet voice than I was expecting.
We stood in silence for a while before he stood up slightly with a sigh.
"I'm sorry. I was angry I didn't mean what I said, you know that. You mean the world to me as well, and you're the most selfless person I've ever met."
I looked up at him to see him already looking down at me with a timid smile.
"I don't expect you to accept the apology I was out of line I know but-"
"Seb just tell me what was bothering you. I don't care about what you said I know you didn't mean it, it's just your my best friend and I want to know what's wrong."
He clenched his jaw slightly at my words and looked away from me again.
"It's just- I was jealous, I didn't like the idea of you and Weasley spending all night dancing and laughing together and sitting there watching it only made it worse." He took a deep breath and despite my best efforts he wouldn't meet my eyes.
"Jealous? Of me and Garreth? Why?"
"Because I've been in love with you since you kicked my ass in defence against the dark arts in fifth year. But I know that all the people around me get hurt and I could never bring you any sort of peace. Between my short temper and the fact you're so headstrong, which is one of the things I love so much about you, but we bicker all the time as it is. I never wanted to say anything because I didn't want to loose the best thing I have in my life and I know that I'd ruin it somehow, and that's even if you even wanted to give me a chance which is unlikely, just look at you."
"You love me? Why didn't you ask me to the ball yourself?"
"Because I saw you in there, you were laughing the whole time. I don't do that to you." He slouched slightly and wiped the rain drops from his face as he looked over the horizon.
"Seb look at me."
He didn't move for a second before finally turning to face me, allowing me to place a hand on his cheek. Moving the wet hair out of his eyes the same way he did to me only a week before.
"Seb I love our bickering. You bring a different type of love and joy to my life that no one else could. Your not just some hot headed idiot who hurts those around him, your the most caring man I've ever met who risks everything if you believe it would give you the smallest chance to help the people you love. I've loved you since the day I met you. I just didn't think you'd want me."
He just looked at me for a second before placing a hand gently on my cheek and leaning down to meet my lips, his other hand resting on the small of my back to pull me closer.
I kissed back and despite the hard rain falling on top of us I'd never felt so warm and safe.
The kiss was gently and loving, as if he was afraid that I'd disappear from his touch.
He pulled away after a moment, resting his forehead against mine as our noses bumped together.
"I'm sorry I didn't ask you here tonight. I wish I could've had at least one dance with you."
"Who said it's too late?" I pressed another gentle kiss to his lips before pulling him into the middle of the courtyard where the music of the hall could still be faintly heard.
He chuckled slightly as he held his arm out to me.
"May I have this dance?"
"Yes you certainly may Sallow."
He laughed before pulling me close to his chest, allowing me to rest my head against him as we rocked slowly to the music under a sheet of rain.
"For the record you look insanely beautiful tonight." He said, pressing a kiss to the top of my head.
I laughed and looked up at him with a smile. "As if, I'm soaking wet, my makeup's probably making me look like a clown right now."
He laughed and shook his head, moving his hand to push a strand of wet hair behind my ear. "Your truly the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, I was star struck when I saw you enter the hall, and I think you look even more beautiful now out here in the rain with me. Just like how I thought you looked beautiful in that cave fighting off spiders covered in webs, dirt and ash. I don't think there's ever been a single second I haven't been in awe of you."
I shook my head slightly at him with a smile "since when are you this nice?"
He lent down to meet me for another kiss, laughing against my lips and we continued to dance in the courtyard all night until the music stopped.

Just wanna put a quick post saying that even though I’m no longer in the dsmp fandom I still wanted to say that I stand by Shelby and other domestic abuse victims and no longer support Wilbur in any way
I don’t know if I should take down my fanfics about him since I feel extremely weird about them now but a lot of time and effort did go into them so until I decide what to do about then I wanted to make it entirely clear that I am in no way shape or form defending or supporting him

Kiss With a Fist
Kiss With a Fist
Master List <3 Request List <3 Marauders Master List
Sirius Black x Reader
A/n: I know I promised a Taylor Swift song fic for Sirius but I couldn't pick a song so instead this (especially the start) is inspired by Kiss With a Fist by Florence and the Machine instead even though the lyrics aren't actually used, just wanted to actually post something tbh.
Summary: You've always hated Sirius Black, so being stuck in detention with him is the worst possible scenario.
Warnings: Badly written arguments, swearing, drinking, weed, no smut but making out, once again bad writing lol, female pronouns but undescribed Hogwarts house.
Word Count: 2787

"I can't believe you right now." I said with a huff, wiping down the walls of the potion classroom that were stained pink because of none other than the dark haired boy who was scrubbing the floor next to me.
"Oh pipe down L/n I saw you laughing." He chuckled to himself confidently causing me to flick some water from my hand onto him.
The self proclaimed genius had unfortunately been partnered with me for our potions assignment this afternoon and as easy as a wiggenweld potion normally is to brew Sirius thought it was be funny too add a handful of stolen ingredients to the cauldron whilst my back was turned. Resulting in a large explosion of a pink foam that now stained half of the classroom.
Of course Slughorn didn't believe I had nothing to do with it, but luckily enough he thought one detention of cleaning up the mess the muggle way would be enough punishment.
"I did not laugh, I should be in the library right now but instead I'm stuck in here with you cleaning a mess I didn't even cause!" I scrubbed the walls harder with frustration as I spoke, his cockiness was getting to me.
"Merlin it's not that big of a deal! It was funny!" He rolled his eyes at me as I gave him a look of disbelief.
Of course he still managed to look effortless whilst cleaning floors, his long hair had been scraped back into a bun, bits of hair falling out to frame his face and neck, occasionally dropping in front of his eyes. He had rolled his sleeves up to his elbows and both of our robes and ties had been thrown over a chair to keep them out of the way.
The cocky smile finally dropped from his face as he threw the sponge onto the floor in frustration "These stains are never going to come out without magic, nothings happening! How have you gotten rid of so much of it already?"
I scoffed at him for what felt like the hundredth time that day before stepping down from the step ladder I was on to work on a bit of the wall lower down.
"You have to actually put it a bit of effort, actually scrub it rather than doing a half assed job, like always." Sirius had always irked me since we started at Hogwarts, his careless attitude and lack of effort always bugged me. He could so easily be top of our classes if he tried but instead he just goofed off whilst some of us have to put in actual effort.
"Hey what's your problem with me, your good enough friends with Remus and Peter why do you seem to hate me so much?"
I could hear that he had stood up but instead of turning around to face him I just continued to clean the wall.
"Probably because you're a posh prat who doesn't care about his actions and how they affect other people."
He just laughed at me which pissed me off more, causing me to grip the sponge in my hand so hard the bubbles started running down my arm rather than the wall.
"What's so funny?" I asked whilst spinning around to face him, his slouched posture and casual lean against the table behind him causing me to clench my jaw.
"You. I'm sorry we can't all be perfect like you but at least I've got some personality."
It was my turn to laugh now as I crossed my arms, shaking my head at him.
"Oh I have no personality? Because the bad boy with a dark mysterious past that he hides behind jokes and his hair is so original?"
"You don't know anything about my dark mysterious past. At least I'm willing to have fun rather than just hiding in the library all day, there's a reason only one of us has friends." He dropped his rag on the floor, obviously having enough of cleaning now and just enjoying annoying me.
"You don't have friends, you have James and a group of adoring fans who wouldn't like you if they didn't find you hot. And not all of us have the luxury of having fun, I can't get through my exams with a charming smile unlike some people."
"Aw, you think my smiles charming." He sat up now, his height made him tower over me which just seemed to piss me off more.
"No I think you're a spoiled git who's had everything handed to him in life and refuses to see that the world doesn't revolve around him. I'd rather jump off the astronomy tower than spend another second with you and I can't wait for the day when you find out that flashing a smile won't get you out of everything!"
I didn't even realise I'd been marching towards him till my finger jabbed directly into his chest.
He scowled down at me, gripping my wrist with his hand to take it off him.
"And I think that you're a stuck up princess who needs to realise that until you get that stick out of your ass you're going to be miserable for the rest of your life!"
I looked up at him angrily, my hands were shaking with how furious I was and my skin felt like it was burning from where his hand was still holding my wrist.
He mirrored the look on my face before glancing down at my lips for a brief second, before I could comprehend what was happening he lent down and pushed his lips to mine.
It wasn't a gentle kiss, or loving in the slightest. It was harsh and spiteful, his teeth clashed against mine as his hand came up to hold my jaw, backing me up against the bit of wall I had just cleaned.
I dropped the sponge I was holding and let my hand grip onto his hair, covering it in the bubbles that were still running down my arm.
I scrambled to pull him closer to me by his neck as his hand let go of my wrist and instead moved to the bottom of my skirt as he let in to deepen the kiss.
"Sirius? You in the mate?" The familiar voice of James Potter called from the doorway of the room, luckily out of view from where we were.
We both jumped away from each other, turning around to make it look like I was heavily interested in the cleaning again.
I quickly yanked my skirt back down as Sirius attempted to fix his hair and straighten his shirt before the Potter boy had turned the corner.
"Yeah Slughorn has us on clean up duty." He says whilst clearing his throat and chuckling a little.
"Yeah Mary told us what you did thought we'd come give you guys a hand so you might still make it to dinner." Remus said as he approached as well, picking up a rag from the table and heading over to help me.
~~~
I stared at the little piece of parchment in my hand, biting the inside of my cheek as I thought out my options.
Me and Sirius hadn't spoken since the afternoon in potions, luckily with the help of James, Remus and Peter we had finished up in less than an hour and I quickly rushed out and had been avoiding the marauders like the plague since.
Remus had just caught me in the library and handed me the invite that I was now inspecting.
'The marauders invite you to the party of the century (bring your own Fire Whiskey or Witches Brew)'
The piece of parchment was enchanted to have little moving images of fireworks and music notes dancing around the page and the Gryffindoor common room password was printed small on the bottom for anyone who wasn't already in the house.
The Gryffindor parties had become like legend in the school over the past two years, but I had still yet to go to one and now that Christmas break was fast approaching and there was no exams for a while it might be nice to let loose a little.
Luckily I knew exactly where to go to for fire whisky and some less approved plants that were grown in the back of the greenhouse.
~~~
After talking to some Ravenclaw friends who sold me the fire whisky I'd decided I might as well go to the party.
Worse case scenario it sucks and it's awkward and I go to bed early.
Best case scenario I have a great time and get drunk and possibly make a good memory or two.
I'd spent longer than I'd like to admit on getting ready and after a nervous dinner I'd met with Lily Evans to go to the party together.
"I'm so glad you're coming this time! I know as a prefect I shouldn't be really letting this happen but there always so fun, just try and avoid being one of the ones put into detention afterwards, luckily James usually volunteers to take the fall. Of course he's then followed by Sirius, Remus and Peter but usually once they get in trouble the rest of us get let off easily."
She said whilst beaming, her crush on James Potter was hardly subtle anymore.
"Yeah I'm glad I'm going as well, better than spending all night in my dorm, nice to see everyone out side of class and the library."
"You work to hard sometimes you know? You a talented witch Y/n you can take a break now and then."
She uttered the password to the fat lady and our conversation was cut off by the loud music of David Bowie that was playing over an enchanted speaker. Lily smiled as she grabbed my hand and pulled me into the common room and towards Mary and Marline.
After some talking, dancing and drinking the girls dispersed over the room to talk to other friends leaving me sat on the window sill with my glass of fire whisky, very buzzed.
"Is this seat taken?" A boy I recognised from Herbology asked with a smile.
I shook my head and moved up to make space for the Hufflepuff boy to slot himself in next to me.
"I don't know if we've met properly, I'm Michael we've got Herbology together."
I nodded with a smile as I looked at him for a second. He was cute. He was obviously nervous and blushing and he'd clearly been running his hands through his curly light brown hair since it looked more messy and out of place than the rest of him.
"Yeah I know, I'm Y/n. Having fun?"
"Yeah I am thank you, it's a great atmosphere in here and I just didn't want to leave such a pretty girl like you sat over here all by yourself." He chuckled lightly to himself as he looked away, unable to hold eye contact with me.
He chucked differently to Sirius, instead of sounding confident and self assured it was more shy and sweet. He didn't look anything like Sirius either, Michael was cute with pink cheeks and fluffy hair. Sirius was hot with a cocky personality and looked as if he was carved out of stone.
Micheal continued to chat my ear off with Herbology facts and compliments but he could never seem to build up the confidence to look me in the eyes.
I couldn't help but let my eyes wander across the room as I smiled at the sight of my friends dancing stupidly to an ABBA song that was making Remus pretend to plug his ears.
As I looked over to the other side of the room I finally spot Sirius who was leaning against the wall with a cup in his hand staring directly at me.
I quickly looked away back at Micheal but not before noticing Sirius stand up from the wall and head towards me.
"Yeah so that's why without Herbology potions would be completely useless, so basically half of the magical abilities we have would be completely worthless without-"
"Mind if I borrow her for a second?" Sirius says from behind my shoulder, causing me to take a big sip from my cup.
"Oh uh yeah of course, I'll see you in class." Micheal said to me with a big smile, finally meeting my eyes before scurrying off into the crowd.
"Wanna get some fresh air for a second?" Sirius asked, offering his hand to help me up.
"Why would I go anywhere with you?"
"Because I'll talk to you about something other than just Herbology." He said with a laugh.
I looked up at him for a second debating my options, maybe it's the whiskey or the fact that he was genuinely smiling at me but I took his hand and followed him out to the courtyard.
We walked in a comfortable silence, both of us finishing our drinks before he picked a bench to sit on.
December would be here soon and it was obvious by the fact that I could see my breath in front of me.
He wordlessly shook off his jacket and handed it to me.
I just looked at him dumbfounded for a second before he sighed and shook his head.
"Your shivering idiot. See I don't only think of myself, just put the damn jacket on."
I looked at him for another second before sliding my arms through the jacket and pulling it closer to me, it smelt like sandalwood, cigarettes and mint.
"You smoke?" He asked while taking the blunt from behind his ear and lighting it with the end of his wand.
"Sometimes." I said and he chuckled before inhaling and passing it over to me.
"So why'd you ask me to come out here?" I put the blunt in between my lips before inhaling, letting the smoke warm my throat and lungs before tilting my head back against the wall and exhaling, I looked over at him to see him already staring at me and gesturing for me to give the blunt back.
"Maybe I'm drunk but I wanted to talk to you."
"Yeah you're definitely drunk."
He laughed and shook his head, taking another hit.
"What you said the other days been bothering me."
I quirked an eyebrow at him, "My words had an effect of the all mighty Sirius Black? Oh my." We both laughed as I lent over to take the blunt from his fingers and bring it to my lips again.
"Yeah your words, along with other things. Do people really think that of me? That I'm just a privileged twat with a confidence program?" He lent back against the wall, using his fingers to comb through his hair.
"You want to know the truth?" I asked with a small smile, a mix of booze and weed making me more confident than I should be.
He nodded, taking the blunt from my hand.
"I was jealous, and annoyed. You're just amazing at everything so easily and I feel like I have to work so hard. And you just waltz in with your effortless smile and pretty face and everything just comes to you."
He laughed again and turned to look at me, taking a last long inhale before stubbing out the blunt onto the floor.
"It's not effortless, you don't know half of it."
"I'd like to."
He lent over to move some hair from my face and tuck it gently behind my ear, letting his hand linger for a second.
"Maybe you will. I don't think your stuck up by the way, I think your brilliant. You drive Remus mad because of your grades which is saying something."
It was my turn to laugh now, "yeah I wish."
"No really you do. I'm sorry for what I did in potions by the way."
"It's fine it didn't take long to clean."
"No not that. The other thing I did in potions." He bit his lip for a second and I could've sworn he wasn't sat that close to me before.
"Oh that? It's fine it's not like I pushed you away." I awkwardly looked forward towards the view in front of us, suddenly very interested in the frozen spiderwebs in the corner.
"Would you care if I did it again? Just out of curiosity." I looked over at him to see that famous Sirius Black smile.
I laughed a little and allowed myself to move closer to him.
"Well there's only one way for you to find out isn't there?"
He laughed again, his finger tracing the bottom of my jaw softly.
He looked at me for a second before leaning in to push his lips against mine again.
There was less rush this time, his touch was softer and gentle. Maybe it was the taste of whiskey and weed coming from him but it was intoxicating.
He pulled away for a second, resting his forehead against mine.
"You called my face pretty." He whispered with a breathless laugh.
"Well you called me brilliant."
He shrugged for a second before I pulled him against me again, tangling my hand into his hair with a smile.

Just watched my life with the Walter boys and neither of those boys were worth the time 😭😭😭
Jackie needed to be in therapy not a love triangle that’s bad for a sibling relationship whilst also being awkward as fuck 😭 imagine having to live with your high school boyfriend like 🤮
Alex just got weirdly in love with her so quickly and was so weirdly possessive and show off like with her the whole time even before they were dating
And Cole needed to chill the fuck out it’s not that deep man, at least his crush on her actually was shown developing not just kinda creepy, hate a man who ‘doesn’t do relationships’ though.
Nathan and Danny were the only two I really liked bar the adults
Both boys were red flags 😭 I love a show that’s not afraid to incorporate as many cowboy hats as possible though
