Cucumber is really doing well. sush tip: I (finally) reused some of my (many) empty Talenti containers as "sprouthouses™" to assist the plants to get started. Definitely helped with all the weird weather SoCal has experienced the last two months.

Feeling mighty British, drinking my port! This is some great stuff. Butterscotch and apricot compote. Great nut mix - walnuts, chestnuts, cashews. Bourbon vanilla and baked apples. Like all the ingredients in an awesome vanilla ice cream sundae.

2004 Sassetti Livio Pertimali Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
Planning my Tuscan feast! Red cherries, plums, blackberries. Dried red flowers and violets. Chanterelles, balsamic, potting soil. Clove and anise. A mix of delicious flavors. A bit more of a modern style, but can see this guy aging for quite some time while drinking well now.

2011 Duckhorn Decoy Sonoma County Merlot
VERY ripe raspberries, plums, blueberries with a hint of button mushrooms and nutmeg on the nose. Ripe, lush, dripping plum on the palate with a hint of cocoa powder and mushroom. Really round mouthfeel that can verge on slightly flabby. High green pepper note.
