I saw the BTS concert movie tonight - and having only known a few of their pop hits - lemme tell you there rap line is fire.

Their song UGH lit me up like a Christmas tree. All of a sudden they had my complete attention.

I mean… I’d heard Run and was impressed. And I remember dancing around to their War of Hormone song. But I should have investigated these boys more thoroughly cause this pastel advertisement did not convey the badassery of their rap line.

Consider me a new fan, boys.

We finally get some insight into Gold’s past! Turns out, she’s from an alternate dimension where the Second Devourer destroyed everything and had the misfortune to be adopted by the Onyx City Council, who only used her for their evil plans. It’s not much and there should have been a better way to integrate the backstory and motivations of one of our main cast members before their final issue, but I’ll take it.

With Gold being from a totally different future harassed by an evil eldritch being, that does make her parallel Silver in a way. I wonder if the two were supposed to be dimensional counterparts to each other?

Ever since Tyrell put a makeshift fence up around the backyard, Arlo’s been swearing up and DOWN that he’s about to shit his pants and insisting we go out in the back in the dead of the night, every night, but as soon as we get there he finds his football and does this 😅 (We don’t normally go in the back at all at night bc it is very dark and I always hear whistling in the woods behind it. I’m sure it’s some sort of night bird but it still freaks me out lol. At night we always go in front or for a walk around the neighborhood. Which is much less scary with my man-eating scary dog privilege 😌. Not sure he’s a match for haunted woodland creatures. Anyway he’s very cute so I have been being brave for him. The fence helps even though it’s just chicken wire and hot pink rebar and TWINE lol.)
