Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah, said on Thursday, March 14, that his country’s armed forces will expand their attacks against ships moving to Israel from the Red Sea region to the whole of the Indian Ocean.
Stating that attacks on Israeli ships in the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb will continue until there is a ceasefire in Gaza, al-Houthi declared that “we [now] aim to prevent ships associated with the Israeli enemy from crossing [Indian] Ocean towards South Africa and the Cape of the Good Hope” as well.

🇾🇪🇮🇱 🚨 TWO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING FIRMS SUSPEND OPERATIONS IN THE RED SEA STRAIGHT AFTER HOUTHI ATTACKS
Two major International shipping firms have suspended operations in the Red Sea straight after a series of Yemeni Houthi attacks on ships headed towards the occupied territories of Palestine.
The two shipping firms are the Swiss-based Mediterranean Shipping Company (MCS) and the France-based CMA CGM, both of which announced the suspension of operations on Saturday.
Both firms said they were suspending traffic through the Bab al-Mandab straight, a waterway used for the transit of 40% of international trade.
MSC said one of their container vessels came under Yemeni attack in the Red Sea on Friday. The attack did not result in any casualties. However, the assault did cause fire damage to the vessel.
According to CMA CGM, "The situation continues to deteriorate and there are increasing concerns about security." As a result, the firm said it had ordered its vessels to leave the area until further notice.
The suspensions come just one day after two other shipping companies suspended transit through the Red Sea straight on Friday.
Danish giant Maersk and German carrier Hapag-Lloyd said they temporarily suspended all journeys through the Red Sea.
Yemen's Armed Forces have warned they will target any vessels using the country's territorial waters to reach Israeli ports, and warned that military operations targeting commercial vessels headed towards occupied territory will continue as long as Israel's genocidal war in Gaza continues.
Earlier this week, the Yemeni forces' spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree also reaffirmed that the attacks will continue until the occupying regime allows entry of "the food and medicine that our steadfast brothers in the Gaza Strip need."

Hundreds of Israelis have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavy protection from Israeli police, ahead of the far-right annual "flag march" through occupied East Jerusalem.
Around 800 Israelis raided the mosque on Wednesday morning, entering through the Moroccan Gate, according to a report by Wafa news agency.
They took provocative tours of the compound, and were joined by rabbis and politicians, including Israeli minister Yitzhak Wasserlauf, lawmaker Yitzhak Kreuzer and Moshe Feiglin, a far-right former MP.
The Israelis performed Jewish rituals near al-Qattanin market and Bab al-Qattanin, one of the main entrances to the mosque's courtyards.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is an Islamic site where unsolicited visits, prayers and rituals by non-Muslims are forbidden, according to decades-long international agreements.
Israeli groups, in coordination with authorities, have long violated the delicate arrangement and facilitated raids of the site.
The flag march, which is part of the Jerusalem Day holiday commemorating the occupation of the city in 1967, is a far-right parade associated with violence against Palestinians and the "display of incitement, Jewish dominance, and racism", according to Israeli NGO Ir Amim.
Over 3,000 Israeli security officers have been deployed in East Jerusalem for the event, setting up several military checkpoints.
On Wednesday afternoon, a large number of Israeli settlers began to arrive in the vicinity of Damascus Gate in the Old City.
There were confrontations with Palestinian shop owners, after the settlers urged them to close their shops.
Israeli police arrived at the scene and ordered everyone to disperse.
Settlers threw stones and bottles at Palestinians, and chanted inflammatory slogans, including "death to Arabs" and "Muhammad is dead".
Palestinian photographer Ghassan Eid was wounded during the confrontations.
Israeli lawmakers and ministers are due to participate in the march, including far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir.

Note
Israel is a SETTLER STATE who shouldn't even be there in the first place. The existence of Israel is a form of NEO-COLONIALISM.
For many decades, ISRAEL has KILLED Palestinians. What happened on October 7th was a form of RETALIATION for DECADES of GENOCIDE.
Let's make a list.
1) Hafia Massacre 1937
2) Jerusalem Massacre 1937
3) Hafia Massacre 1938
4) Balad al-Sheikh Massacre 1939
5) Hafia Massacre 1939
6) Hafia Massacre 1947
7) Abbasiya Massacre 1947
8) Al-Khisas Massacre 1947
9) Bab al-Amud Massacre 1947
10) Jerusalem Massacre 1947
11) Sheikh Bureik Massacre 1947
12) Jaffa Massacre 1948
13) Khan Yunis Massacre 1956
14) Jerusalem Massacre 1967
15) Sabra and Shatila Massacre 1982
16) Al-Aqsa Massacre 1990
17) Ibrahimi Mosque Massacre 1994
18) Jenin Refugee Camp April 2002
19) Gaza Massacre 2008-9
20) Gaza Massacre 2014
21) Gaza Massacre 2018-19
22) Gaza Genocide 2023-2024 (ONGOING)
Israeli military has lined people up and killed them via firing squad. Israeli military has fire bomb hospitals. Israeli military puts Palestinians in CONCENTRATION CAMPS.
The humanitarian crisis in Palestine, because of Israel's doing, is at an all time high. 99% of Palestinians don't have access to electricity, almost every hospital is destroyed, and disease is running rampant.
Israel is genociding the Palestinian people, and you have audacity to say Israel is the victim?
You are the embodiment of revisionism and tone-deaf. You really want to say October 7th a cruel attack was retaliation when it was supposed to be a day for peace, but you guys took as a day when you could kill people because of your perceived victimhood. And perceived victimhood is a good description because you cry victim while ignoring the blood you have from killing Jews then say in an unironic tone that you guys lived in peace and harmony when that was bs to cover up Jews were treated like second class for centuries. Seriously, you guys were the one genociding and you guys eventually had people hit back for all the times you guys were putting people under their thumb. You guys don't want to own up to the consequences of war because you just want the rewards and never the negatives. Also again you forget they are lining up terrorists and not innocent people as you think. And again those places were filled with terrorists and you will go on denying it because you want a picture where they are unjustified attacks. Also Palestine is an example revisionist hiding Arab colonialism and then refute saying it wasn't the same.

ISRAEL REALTIME - afternoon Nov 9 🇮🇱
"Connecting the World to Israel in Realtime"
▪️QUIET WARNING… it’s not over until it’s over.  It is estimated Hamas still has not insignificant rocket capability from Gaza.  Although the frequency of rockets has decreased significantly, capacity and risk remains - as does the possibility of ‘surprises’.  HEZBOLLAH and Lebanon, and Shia militias in Syria, are significant risks that could expand at any time - or not.  While things seem somewhat calm for most civilian areas, risk remains HIGH.  Continue to take personal precautions and be fully supportive of the IDF, police, and first responders such as Hatzollah, MDA and ZAKA.
▪️ROCKETS from GAZA… Ashdod and surrounds, near-Gaza towns.
▪️EMBEDDED JOURNALISTS DURING MASSACRE…  (More on this topic)  Reporters, particularly someplace like Gaza, are mostly “stringers” - locals who are getting paid by the picture or article, or kept on stipend to be available.  Clearly there were some of these reporters in the attack, and somebody told them to be ready, grab their gear and come along.  Nobody (well, not us) is claiming CNN or AP knew about the attack, their locals though did and were there to take pictures to sell.  The question is: NOW that CNN and AP know, are they still working with these people?
(Amit Segal Ch. 12) Video: A day after he covered the massacre with a wrap and documented a lynching of soldiers: Hassan Ashchih, the CNN stringer, marks his car with the inscription TV for protection from IDF bombs.  What happened that CNN suddenly remembered to suspend their stringer in Gaza?  What happened is simply that they were caught red-handed.
▪️HOUTHIS Analysis… (Arab Desk) Due to the great distance (between Yemen and Israel) and the passage of missiles and drones by the Houthis over the skies of Saudi Arabia and Jordan (and Israel’s defenses), the attacks have proven to be ineffective so far. The only option left for the Houthis is if they attack the shipping going through the Bab al-Mandab strait (Indian Ocean to Red Sea).  This is the reason why the intelligence planes of the US Air Force fly non-stop (over the area).
▪️DEATH PENALTY FOR TERRORISTS… multiple rumbles in the Knesset about applying the “Prosecution of Nazi’s” law with the death penalty for terrorists to those captured, most with blood on their hands, as part of the Oct. 7 massacre.  MK Ben Gvir pushing, MK Liberman pushing.  Defense attorney’s office refuses to defend.
▪️FRANCE REWARDS PALESTINIANS… French President Macron: This year we will increase aid to the Palestinians from 20 million euros to 100 million euros. (N12)
▪️EGYPT SAYS… Egyptian Foreign Minister: Opening a safe passage for residents of the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing is displacement of the Palestinians.
▪️ASHKELON SCHOOLS… distance learning will be expanded from next week. The learning will take place among elementary and secondary school students, in all sectors, and for five hours.
▪️ISRAELI POLITICS… Sara Netanyahu’s office director, after being suspended for making hyper-partisan statements during the war, has resigned.
