American Assassin (Movie Review) | Formulaic But O'Brien Shines
While the script may feel familiar #AmericanAssassin, has the action and the electrifying performances for this thrilling tale. Check it out! #MovieReview #DylanOBrien #MovieAdaptation #VinceFlynn #TaylorKitsch #MichaelKeaton
Michael Cuesta (Director), Vince Flynn (Novels) CASTDylan O’BrienMichael KeatonSanaa LathanShiva NegarTaylor Kitsch Review Michael Cuesta’s American Assassin presents a familiar tale of revenge and espionage, but unfortunately, its script by Stephen Schiff, Michael Finch, Edward Zwick, and Marshall Herskovitz falls victim to predictability and a sense of déjà vu. While the storyline follows…

And Keanu says something really interesting to me on the first John Wick. He comes to me and he goes, “Look, just so you know, little bit of advice, when you edit, once a week, you should see the edit on the big screen.” And I’m like, OK, we’ll try. Later, alone with him, I’m going, “Well, why?” He’s like, “I’m a big-screen actor.” And I had no fucking idea what that meant. I thought it meant a movie star. And he’s like, “No, no, no, no.”
And he started talking to me about non-verbal acting, like gestures, motions. And he’s like, “Look, when you see me on a little monitor and I give this little look, it’s one thing. But when you see it on a 40-foot screen, that look’s going to say a lot. That’s what I want to play this guy as. So just please be aware of it, so when we punch in on the closeups, it’s going to mean something.” And it kind of really clicked for me right there.
I’ve always been fascinated by non-verbal gesture, body language. Keanu would go through and strip his dialogue down. It was like, “No, no, nope. I’m just going to cuddle the puppy.” In the first John Wick, he doesn’t talk for 32 minutes. Try to sell that one to a studio: You have Keanu Reeves and you’re not going to let him talk.

Love Together! "Rap" Together!
Parappa x Buster Bros!!! Parody Fanart 🎧🎤
The other day, I was so happy when Nona Reeves performed Love Together as their first song during Day 1 of the IKB Live 🥹❤️‍🩹 It's so nostalgic and has been cheering me up since the moment it played as the Parappa anime opening so many years ago!! I made the sketch a few months earlier, but got the urge to finish it just recently, especially motivated by what had happened at the live. 😭 And the other day, I tweeted about it and the official account of Nona Reeves liked my tweet so I was really internally screaming! 😭
I tried to draw them in Parappa the Rapper's style by Musho Rodney A. Greenblat. I really admire his work! 😁
I can't be the only one thinking they would all get along right?
Posted on Twitter also!! 🐦

You’ve got to remember, at the time, The Matrix hadn’t come out yet. So martial arts in American cinema was looked down upon. As a stunt person, you made your money falling or driving or doing a stair fall or fire burns. Anything but martial arts.
The Matrix comes out. I get a gig doubling Keanu after I turn it down a few times. I was one of the few six-foot-one guys out there that had a gymnastic, martial-arts background. Next thing you know, I’m doubling Keanu Reeves on The Matrix. And who’s doing The Matrix? Yuen Woo-ping himself, the greatest fight choreographer alive today and probably that’s ever been around, and now I’m learning with his team for the next 10 years. And through that time, I’m working with Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen, Jet Li, and being introduced to the best of the best in the industry. And you start talking to Jackie Chan a little bit, and who’s one of his biggest influences? Buster Keaton.

OOO AN FF7 PMD AU?? what Pokémon did you decide to make each of the characters?
Hi! I don’t have all the characters’ species figured out yet, but here’s some of the major ones!
Cloud is a Jolteon, and the current owner of the Buster Looplet
Barret is a Blastoise, although with the design detail that one of his paws is replaced by a prosthetic Mega Blastoise claw with an arm cannon
Tifa is a Lucario! When it comes to using aura, she dislikes prying too much into other Pokémon’s emotions. As such, she mainly only uses it during combat to gauge her opponents’ next moves. For some odd reason, she has trouble reading Cloud’s aura.
Aerith is a Bayleef, with her White Emera, this AU’s version of the White Materia, kept safely tucked in the pink ribbon she wears around her head leaf.
Nanaki is an Entei
Yuffie is a Treecko
Vincent is a Zoroark, who due to events in his past is sometimes able to become one with the illusions Zoroark are able to conjure.
Cid is a Fearow, and currently works as a transporter
Cait Sith is a Decoy Doll controlled psychically by Reeve! The Moogle Doll in the AU is a Kangaskhan Rock able to move due to Reeve’s abilities
Reeve is a shiny Reuniclus
Zack is a Luxio
Marlene is a shiny Flabebe currently without a flower, as flowers are rare in Midgar
Claudia is a Flareon
Jessie is a Raichu
Biggs is a Fraxure
Wedge is a Shieldon
Hojo is a Banette
Sephiroth is a shiny Gallade
Lucrecia is a Gardevoir
Jenova is a Missingno, with various forms such as Ghost, Aerodactyl skeleton, and Kabutops skeleton
