It’s my sweet baby boy!! I didn’t really update his design since he didn’t need it, tbh.
For those of you who don’t know, Sunny lost his entire squad in their first battle, which was unfortunately Umbara. Volt found him crying in a supply closet and wound up basically adopting him. Sunny follows Volt around like a lost puppy while he’s grieving his squad, and since Volt is a medic, Sunny is in the medbay a lot and finds that he likes helping, so he hangs around with the medics and helps where he can in the medbay, usually by calming panicky patients, fetching things the medics need, or just snuggling with patients so they can sleep.

Grief
Poor shiny Sunny is struggling with the loss of his squad. Volt knows how Sunny’s feeling and gets worried because he doesn’t want his little bro to try to deal with this alone.
—————
“Hey, has anyone seen Sunny?” Volt called when he walked into the barracks. Wooley peered over the side of his bunk. “Sunny? No, I haven’t seen him. I don’t think he’s been in here since this morning.”
“He’s the blondie, right?” Ticker asked, pausing from tinkering with his cybernetic foot. ”Yes, have you seen him?” Volt was getting worried. The younger trooper was a mess and really shouldn’t be unsupervised in case he got any ideas about hurting himself. “Not since thirteen hundred. I saw him in the corridor just past the mess hall,” Ticker replied.
Volt spun and hurried to the door. “Thanks, Ticker.” Volt had checked five supply closets, two freshers, the mess hall, and the weaponry with no sign of Sunny. Sure, he’d find him eventually, but it was a huge ship, and Sunny might hurt himself before Volt found him. Volt checked two more supply closets, then about jumped out of his armor when someone spoke. “Volt, what are you looking for? You lose something?” Cody asked.
“More like someone, Commander. You know that shiny who’s been following me around the past two days?” “Yeah. Sunny, right? You can’t find him?” Cody asked, sounding concerned.
Volt shook his head. “I’m worried he might try to hurt himself. He’s been having a really hard time with the loss of his squad, and I don’t want him to- ...I-I think he blames himself,” he explained, his voice breaking a little. “Not unlike you, then,” Cody remarked softly.
Not unlike me when I lost Winder... “Yeah...” Volt agreed faintly. “I’ll help you look for him,” Cody offered, immediately peering into a control room. Volt continued checking the rooms as well. After another half hour of searching, Cody opened a door and froze. “Hey... hey, vod... You’re Sunny, aren’t you?” His voice was more gentle than Volt had ever heard him be. “Well, Volt’s been lookin’ for you, kiddo. You had him worried.”
Volt rushed past Cody and knelt next to Sunny, who was curled up in the corner of a cooling room, shivering and hiccuping. He was hugging his knees so tightly that he looked like he might shatter if he pulled himself tighter. ”Sunny, are you hurt anywhere?!” Volt cupped Sunny’s face in his hands, checking his eyes, feeling for a fever, then looking him over for signs of any injuries, self-inflicted or otherwise. “Kriff, vod, you’re freezing! How long have you been in here?” Sunny looked at Volt, his lip trembling as his big amber eyes welled with tears. “I’m s-sorry! I’m sorry! I didn’t m-mean to s-scare you, I j-just didn’t want to bother you b-by going to y-you while you were working! I didn’t know w-where else to g-go and I’m s-sorry!”
Volt grabbed Sunny and pulled him into a tight hug. “Sunny, don’t apologize! Don’t apologize! It’s okay, vod, it’s okay.” Sunny simply cried harder, gasping for air between loud sobs. “Come on, kiddo, breathe... You need to settle down before you make yourself sick.” As Sunny started to calm down, Cody walked over and crouched next to him. “Come on, trooper, why don’t we get you out of this room? It’s cold in here.”
Sunny lifted his head and looked at Cody, then started scrambling to his feet. “C-Commander!” He lost his balance and would have fallen had Cody not shot upright and grabbed him. Volt stood up quickly and grabbed Sunny’s right hand. “Easy, Sunny, you’re not in trouble,” Cody murmured.
“Here, kiddo, come back here,” Volt encouraged, guiding Sunny back against him. Cody let go of Sunny once he was tucked against Volt’s side. “You’re okay. Let’s go get you warmed up.” “I’m s-sorry, I’m sorry,” he whimpered.
Volt held Sunny close and led him out into the corridor. “Hey, what did I say? Don’t apologize. I’m not upset with you. Just don’t disappear on me like that, okay? If you need something, I don’t care if I’m busy, I will always make time for you. Please don’t hide from me, Sunny.” Sunny hiccuped and fumbled for Volt’s hand, squeezing tightly when he got a hold on it. “Let’s go get some dinner before we go to bed, okay?” Sunny nodded. Volt glanced at Cody and mouthed “thank you.” “And Sunny,” Cody started. “You’re welcome to come find me too if you need something. I might be your commander, but I’m also your brother.” Sunny lifted his eyes to look at Cody, then offered a weak smile, looking relieved despite the exhaustion in his face. Volt smiled as Cody’s face lit up with a gentle grin. Sunny would be okay, Volt was going to make certain of that. This young trooper wouldn’t be dealing with his grief alone. He won’t hurt like I did. I won’t let that happen to him.

Hnnng, those starters are all so goood! Hmm....I choose....4!
This was fun, hehe. I decided to expand on Sunny’s relationship with one of my favorite canon clone troopers instead of one of my other OCs.
—————
“STOP BEING SO CUTE, IT’S NOT FAIR!” Boil complained dramatically as he let Sunny snuggle against him. “I don’t even know why I’m letting you do this, honestly. You’re taking up half the bed,” he grumbled. He did know why he was letting Sunny snuggle with him, but he wasn’t about to say it out loud. If he was being honest, the blond shiny reminded him of Waxer when he was Sunny’s age. It was a bit annoying because he missed Waxer, but it wouldn’t be long before Waxer was healed and then he could take over entertaining Sunny. The two of them would get along great.
“Well, I’d go do this with Volt instead, but he’s on the night shift in the medbay tonight,” Sunny replied matter-of-factly.
“You have your own bunk, you know,” Boil pointed out.
Sunny tensed as though he thought Boil was actually going to make him leave. “Yeah, but- you’re warm. There’s a draft by my bunk and it’s cold.” That was a poor excuse, honestly, but Boil knew the real reason Sunny didn’t want to be in his own bed.
Nightmares. Poor kid... “You can stay on one condition,” Boil said, making Sunny look up at him. “No pushing me off the bed.” He grinned, feeling Sunny relax.
“Well, I haven’t pushed Volt out of bed yet, so I doubt I’ll push you out of bed,” Sunny replied with a small smile. He yawned. “G’night…” he mumbled before huddling against Boil.
“Night, vod,” Boil replied quietly as he closed his eyes.

Deserters
Hi, so this is the post-Order 66 thing I was working on yesterday instead of doing homework. It started out as really sad, but it’s got a kind of bittersweet ending? My sweet 212th boys need hugs though because ouch. Good thing this doesn’t happen in my main fic, lol.
Also, I haven’t really edited this, so there are probably mistakes. I’ll fix them if I find any though. It kinda jumps around more than my normal ficlets, but oh well.
—————
No. Execute the Jedi. No. Traitors to the Republic. No. Kill them all. “NO!”
Volt’s scream was drowned out by the cannon blast that threw Kenobi off the ledge.
The 212th never found the Jedi’s body.
Shortly after the formation of the Empire, something fizzled out in Volt’s head. He didn’t want to hunt Jedi. He tried to convince his brothers to listen. Sunny did. The rest labeled him a traitor and tried to arrest him, so Sunny joined him and they fled, not having any plan beyond getting as far away from the Empire as possible.
—two years later—
Volt limped out of the cantina, trying to shield his face from the objects being hurled at him. He stumbled into the alley he’d told Sunny to wait in, then collapsed in his younger brother’s arms, holding his right thigh. He could feel the knife still sticking out of his leg, embedded up to the handle. “S-sorry, vod. Can’t get a job there either...” he hissed between gritted teeth.
“It’s alright. We can just have womp rat or snake again if that’s all we can find. Hasn’t killed us yet,” Sunny replied as he sat Volt against the wall. “Now let me get a look at that leg.”
Volt didn’t argue. He didn’t have the energy, and hadn’t for a long time. He only argued when it came to keeping Sunny safe. Same went for fighting. If he could get away with Sunny safely, he wouldn’t fight. It felt cowardly, but what else was he supposed to do? If he lost Sunny, he’d have nothing.
“It’s in there good, vod. You got any bacta left so I can get this treated once I pull that knife out?” Sunny asked.
Volt snorted. “Haven’t had bacta in two weeks, vod. Sold the last of it to get us some water.” Why, out of all the planets they could have run out of fuel on, did it have to be this hellhole of a desert?
Sunny sighed and wiped his sweaty face on the back of his hand. “Then we’re just gonna have to pray to the Force or whatever gods are listening that this doesn’t get infected. Now try to stay quiet while I get this out.”
—four days later—
Sunny didn’t stray far from the ship anymore. He couldn’t, not with Volt burning up with such a high fever that he wasn’t even conscious most of the time. “Kriff it, vod, why’d you have to go and sell our last bit of bacta?” He muttered, rubbing his fingertips on his brother’s scalp, soothing him through another fit of flashbacks and hallucinations. They were becoming more frequent, eating up the brief spans of lucidity Volt had left. Sunny stared out at the town. Maybe someone would be kind enough to spare some more water. Or maybe a few credits. Fuel was a longshot, but maybe... Honestly, anything to give Sunny a bit of hope for Volt would be great.
“Volt, I’m gonna go into town for a few hours. I’ll leave your blaster right next to you in case you need it. Maybe I’ll be able to find us some fuel or get you some meds.” He stood up carefully and set Volt’s pistol next to him, making sure it was only on stun mode in case his brother grabbed it during a hallucination fit. Better to have him accidentally stun himself or Sunny than injure or kill. Sunny made sure to rig up the ship’s solar powered shields to prevent scavengers from dismantling it, then he set off across the sand.
He wandered around looking for work or a kind stranger’s handout for a lot longer than he’d meant to. He just needed something to help. Something to ease his brother’s suffering for a few hours or just enough fuel or credits to get them to a more hospitable planet. Hell, he’d take a job if someone offered him one, even if it meant leaving Volt alone most of the day. Anything. The only thing Sunny received for his efforts was a black eye and a split lip.
Feeling hopeless, Sunny headed back to the ship. He didn’t want this wasteland to be Volt’s grave. His older brother deserved better than this. Letting out a loud sob, Sunny fell to his knees and buried his face in his hands. It wasn’t fair! Volt had just turned fourteen and Sunny hadn’t even turned eleven yet. Things weren’t supposed to end this way!
He nearly jumped out of his skin when a hand touched his shoulder. He spun and stared with tear-filled eyes up at a figure with his face and head mostly obscured by cloth. There was something about this man’s posture that he found familiar. “Is there something I can help you with?” The stranger asked, his voice muffled by the cloth over his mouth and nose.
Sunny stared up into the other’s piercing blue eyes. Those looked familiar too. “My brother,” he choked out. “My older brother is dying. We can’t afford medication or fuel to get somewhere to give him better care.”
“I don’t have much, but I might be able to help depending on his condition,” the stranger said. “Lead the way.” The stranger’s voice even sounded a little familiar, although the cloth muffled it too much for Sunny to be certain. He wasn’t going to argue with the man. If this stranger could help Volt, even if it just eased his suffering, Sunny was going to take the man’s offer.
“I’m back, vod. I brought someone who might be able to help you,” Sunny said, moving to Volt’s side. His brother’s feverish brown eyes opened and stared at him, dull and hopeless. “Let’s get you something to drink.” He gently sat Volt up a bit and poured some water into his parched mouth.
The stranger moved to Volt’s side, feeling his forehead, checking his pulse, and looking him over carefully before inspecting the bandaged wound on Volt’s thigh. “How long has he had this?”
“Four days now. Someone stabbed him in the cantina,” Sunny replied.
Volt stirred a little, eyes locking on the stranger. “Gen-Gen’ral?” When that got no response, Volt seemed to get frustrated. “Gen’ral K-Kenobi?”
Sunny hushed his sick brother. “No no, vod. He’s just a nice guy helping you feel better.” I wish it was our Jedi...
“I might be able to drain most of the infection from his leg, but it will take time, and I can’t be here longer than a couple hours a day. I also can’t guarantee this will work since the infection has spread down his leg and might have spread up into his hip as well.”
“Please, sir. If you think you can help him, please do,” Sunny pleaded. “We- I don’t have much to offer you, but I can work for you. I’m a fast learner, I could-”
“No payment is necessary. I only ask that you keep quiet about this. Tell no one.” That sounded suspicious, but Sunny nodded. “I’ll start now if that’s alright. This may be painful, so you will need to hold him still if he struggles.”
Sunny eased Volt’s head into his lap, stroking the sweaty black hair off his forehead. “I’ve got him. Whenever you’re ready.”
Two hours later, Volt’s leg was wrapped up again and lifted in a makeshift sling hung from the ceiling above the bed. Sunny wasn’t sure what the stranger had done, but it had drained a lot of the infection from Volt’s leg in only two hours, his lower leg already looking less... sickly? Diseased? Sunny didn’t know how he’d describe Volt’s leg. He’d been too busy calming his brother to pay close attention to what the stranger was doing.
“I’ll be back tomorrow to work on him some more,” the stranger said as he stood up.  “Thank you, sir,” Sunny replied before the man left.
The stranger came back like he said he would. He didn’t talk much, mostly just did whatever the hell he was doing to Volt’s leg, then left again, saying he’d be back the next day. This went on for five days, little improvements in Volt’s condition becoming apparent. He was lucid more often, had less violent hallucinations and flashbacks, and had less trouble keeping food down. By the sixth day, Volt’s fever broke and he was able to sit up on his own when his leg wasn’t elevated, although he was still too weak and shaky to do much else.
“I think you’ll be alright now. I would suggest going to a more hospitable planet than here though. I hear Alderaan is a bit more temperate. Better job opportunities too,” the stranger remarked after wrapping Volt’s thigh again to keep it covered.
“We appreciate the suggestion, but we’re out of fuel, sir,” Sunny said.
The stranger dug around in his robe, then pulled out a drawstring pouch and handed it to Sunny. “This should get you enough to get to Alderaan, I believe. I don’t have much use for it anyway.” Sunny tried to argue, but the stranger simply lifted a hand, silencing him. “I’d best be going. May the Force be with you both.” Then he left, so swiftly that Sunny hadn’t even opened his mouth to thank him.
“Well, how much is in there?” Volt asked. Sunny’s heart still ached hearing how weak his brother’s voice was, but he was encouraged by his lack of a fever and brighter eyes today.  Sunny opened the pouch. “Sithspit, this is more than enough to get us fuel to reach Alderaan! What do you think? Alderaan sound good to you?”
Volt huffed and laid back against the pillow, visibly tired again. “Anywhere’s better than here, vod. You can pick, I won’t be able to fly much anyway.”
“Oh. Right. I’ll go get the fuel now! Stay here!” Sunny hurried off into town, fighting to look as downtrodden as he usually did to avoid attention.  Sunny hadn’t been able to stop babbling as he piloted the ship away from the desert planet. “I’ll get a job doing something that pays decent, then when you’ve got your strength back, maybe you can get a job at a medcenter or something since you’re definitely qualified. We’ll find a house, and blend right in with everyone else. Then maybe once we’re financially stable, we can go find some of our brothers and rescue them!”
“Sounds like you’ve got this all figured out, vod’ika...” Volt said softly.
Sunny frowned. “You alright back there, Volt?”
“Yeah. Yeah, I’m just tired,” Volt replied. “Did you ever get that guy’s name?”
“No. Never saw his face either. Why do you ask?”
“Dunno... Something about him seemed really familiar. His eyes, voice, and mannerisms.”  Sunny nodded. “I thought the same thing.”
Volt grunted and Sunny looked over his shoulder to see him sit up and reach over to the pouch of credits, then paw through it. “Hey, what’s this?” He pulled out an object wrapped carefully in cloth, unwrapped it, and held up a little white stone with a familiar symbol carved into it. The Jedi crest, to be exact.
Sunny stared, wide eyed. “How did- I carved that. I carved it for General Kenobi. How would-”
Volt let out a hysterical laugh. “That karking madman!” Tears spilled down Volt’s face, but he was smiling.
It dawned on Sunny what Volt was so excited about. “That was him, wasn’t it?” He laughed, then thought of something. “The hell is he doing on that rock?”
Volt instantly sobered up. “Dunno.” He laid down again. “Maybe we’ll track him down once we have our lives under control a bit more. He obviously didn’t want us to know it was him until he had a chance to leave, so I don’t think we should go back to find him yet.”
“So we keep going.” Sunny thought for a moment. “There must be something on Alderaan he wants us to do or find if he suggested we go there.”  “That seems likely. I suppose we just need to keep our eyes open for something we think he’d direct us toward,” Volt murmured. He was snoring softly a few seconds later.
“Alright, General... What are you trying to tell us to do?” Sunny whispered softly as the ship jumped to hyperspace.

A Trip to 79′s
Hey, @appleiiron, this is that thing I was writing! I was grinning pretty much the entire time I was writing it, lol.
—————
“Squint! Cryptid!” Jax called when he spotted the twins.
“Hey, Jax!” Cryptid greeted as he hurried over with Squint. “Hey, Blazer!”
“Hey, did you start drinking without us?!” Squint demanded, noticing the shot glass in Blazer’s hand.
Jax shook his head. “Just Blazer did.”
“I’m his supervision, so I’m done after this,” Blazer explained. “Can’t drink much anyway. It hurts my throat.”
The twins snickered. “You still need supervision, Jax?” Cryptid asked, chuckling.
“Not surprising,” Squint said, grinning.
“No!” Jax protested.
“Yes,” Blazer replied at the same time. The twins laughed, earning a grin from Blazer.
Jax pouted. “You guys are bullies, the lot of you.”
“No, you’re just sensitive,” Blazer retorted.
“Not to change the subject, but Tally said he’s gonna be a bit late. Said had something to finish up before he left the barracks,” Squint informed them.
“That’s okay, I don’t mind waiting.” Jax shrugged.
After chatting for a few minutes, Jax glanced up at the door. Oh, just an ARC trooper, not Ta- He blinked in surprise the ARC had 212th orange markings on his armor, most notably the tally marks painted just below the chestplate. Kriff, that IS Tally! The confidence in the younger trooper’s stride threw Jax off, but the scars on the ARC’s chin were unmistakable. Tally’s an ARC trooper!! Jax jumped to his feet, catcalling loudly. “MY VOD’IKA’S AN ARC TROOPER!!” He shouted, making Blazer jump as almost the entire bar went quiet for a few seconds. “Tally, you are rocking that armor!” Jax continued. Tally froze for a second, then spotted Jax and grinned at his feet as the bar exploded in drunken cheering and clapping.
“Kid should do a runway walk like those Senators do when they get a new outfit they wanna show off,” Blazer said, just loud enough for Jax to hear him.
“Come on, vod, show us that fancy armor!” Jax called, not sure if Tally could hear him.
Tally looked up and started strutting over, earning more drunken applause. Jax noticed Tally had another trooper in tow, but this one wasn’t an ARC. Still a 212th vod though. After dodging a few particularly drunk vod, Tally made it to the table and gave Jax a very fake glare. “Thanks for the embarrassment, I totally needed that.”
Jax grinned. “My pleasure. Not like half the vod in here are gonna remember tonight anyway.”
“Tally, you didn’t tell us you were training to be an ARC trooper!!” Cryptid cried excitedly.
“Yeah, what’s the big idea?” Squint demanded, but he was grinning.
Tally shrugged. “I wanted it to be a surprise. Plus, I’ve developed what Volt calls ‘a dramatic flair’.”
“Wonder where you got that from,” Blazer muttered behind his hand, hiding a smirk.
Squint and Cryptid snorted. “Yeah, no idea at all,” Cryptid said, elbowing Jax in the ribs.
“Hey, being dramatic has its uses!” Jax protested. He caught sight of the other trooper Tally had brought with him. “Tally, who’s this blond vod’ika?” He asked, softening his voice when he realized the new vod was a lot younger and looked nervous.
“Oh! Right, sorry!” Tally stepped aside and put an arm across the younger trooper’s shoulders. “This is Sunny. Volt was busy tonight, otherwise he’d have brought Sunny somewhere more fun than here. Sunny, these guys are Jax, Blazer, Squint, and Cryptid,” he introduced them.
Jax smiled at the new vod’ika. “Nice to meet you, Sunny!”
“You ever been here before?” Cryptid asked.
Sunny nodded. “Once, yeah. Volt and Nexus brought me.” Tally guided Sunny to a chair, then sat next to him. The poor kid looked a little overwhelmed, but Tally was keeping an eye on him, so he’d be fine.
“What did you try last time?” Squint asked, flagging down a server droid and ordering what everyone usually drank.
“Oh, I don’t drink,” Sunny replied quickly. Jax and Blazer shared a look at that. Was this kid one of those vod who refused to even have one drink? “The taste makes me gag, and I don’t know why.”
“That sucks, vod,” Blazer said. “I mean, not that you should get drunk, obviously, but kriff.”
Sunny shrugged. “Just means I get to supervise my older brothers and tell them about every dumb thing they did.” There was a mischievous twinkle in Sunny’s eyes that made Jax grin. “Makes good blackmail material.”
”I like this kid, Tally,” Cryptid laughed.
“We like him in the 212th too, so no, you can’t steal him,” Tally replied.
“You might end up with some good stuff on Jax that you can hold over his head and threaten to tell Commander Cody,” Squint suggested.
Jax scowled. “Cody doesn’t scare me!”
“He might if you do something stupid in front of Sunny,” Tally warned.
That... that was true... Jax deflated a bit. “Guess I gotta be careful tonight if I want to survive my next meeting with Cody, then.” That got a laugh out of the group. Jax smiled, soaking in the lack of stress in that moment. He didn’t know when he’d get this again, so he was going to make the most of it.

I HAVE NOT LOST THE ABILITY TO ART, I AM JUST INCREDIBLY SLOW AT IT.
I’m working on a big drawing, and I got stuck trying to sketch Waxer and Boil for like a week because as much as I love them, they’re really friggin hard to draw for some reason. And I still gotta add Nexus and Sej to this, so I’m dying here, lol. (I sketched Waxer and Obi-Wan super light for some reason?? Either that or I accidentally smudged the lines, not sure which at this point)
But yeah, from left to right so far we have: Waxer, Boil, Cody, Kitsune, Obi-Wan, Sunny, Volt, and Keller.

Birthday gift for my bestie @thehannalyzer! She honestly gets at least half of the credit for Sunny’s existence, so if you love Sunny, go thank her! Because of her involvement in Sunny’s existence, I felt it was fitting to draw Sunny with one of my favorite fan children ever, Inga Haddock!
Happy birthday, and thank you for putting up with my crazy spam texts and just the emotional disaster that I am! ❤️❤️

Post-Op
Idk what else to title this as, lol. But yeah, I’m sure you’ll probably figure out what’s going on here to some extent, I just felt like posting a little thing since I’ve been kinda dead in the art department, hehe...
—————
Volt sat and patiently waited for Nexus to take off the bacta patch over the healing incision on the right side of his head. I would really like my hair back now... He could feel the draft from the vent above him and it was uncomfortably cold on his bald head. Bald. I’m bald. Ugh, I probably look ridiculous. Sure, some of his brothers looked fine without hair, but Volt didn’t like how he looked without his usual mess of untamable hair. “Hey, Volt!” Sunny’s unmistakably happy voice greeted from behind him before arms were flung around his neck. Sunny nuzzled into Volt’s shoulder and sighed. “I’m so glad you’re better. I was worried.”
Volt leaned his cheek into Sunny’s blond hair. “Sorry for scaring you, kiddo. I haven’t seen Keller yet. How’s he doing?” “He’s good, but this whole thing has him freaked out.” Sunny shuddered. “I don’t blame him. It’s freaking me out too.” Volt grabbed one of Sunny’s hands and squeezed gently. “I know, vod, I’m worried too.”
Sunny lifted his head from Volt’s shoulder. “Your hands are cold. Really cold.”
“I’m alright, Sunny, don’t-“ He stopped as Sunny wrapped him in a second blanket. “Thanks, vod.” He smiled. “Okay, sorry, Cody was being an idiot and wouldn’t let me check his temperature,” Nexus said as he entered the medbay. “He’s fine, but I still needed to check considering he had a low fever yesterday.” He looked at Volt. “You cold?” Volt shrugged. “I was a little chilly, but I’m fine now.”
“Liar,” Sunny huffed. “Your hands were like ice.” Nexus snorted. “Volt, you’re such an idiot. Now hold still.” He removed the bacta patch and discarded it, then gently ran his fingers over the slightly raised surgical scar on Volt’s head. Nexus’ fingers were cold, so Volt flinched. “Does it hurt, Volt?” Nexus asked quickly. Volt shook his head. “No, your fingers are just cold.” “Well, you need to hold still, moof-milker,” Nexus huffed. “I got him!” Sunny said cheerfully as he crawled onto the bed and curled up next to Volt, hugging him. “You’ve been waiting all week to do this, huh?” Volt asked with a smile. Sunny nodded. “I didn’t want to hurt you before, but you’re better now, so I don’t need to worry about hurting you.” Volt smiled and relaxed into his younger brother. He could worry about the situation when he had more information. He didn’t really have the energy to worry at the moment, and Nexus would tell him if he needed to worry anyway.
