Personality and Traits

Damien comes across as a very laidback and open guy, very easy to approach and talk to. He is a pretty big jokester, likes to crack a few jokes here and there to make people laugh or lighten the mood.

Though in the heat of battle, he has known to be brutal towards his enemies, sparing no mercy and absolutely no time - getting a job done quickly and efficiently. He isn’t afraid to speak his mind when needed, even if it may be more emotionally driven.

Nevertheless, towards those he likes, he is a very caring and loyal person. Ride or die buddy. It’s pretty damn obvious too, he’ll never stop bugging someone he cares for no matter where they are in the world. He can read their emotions like a book too; he can tell when someone’s feeling down and will try his best to cheer them up.

Damien’s also the sort of guy to take care of others but not himself. Truthfully, after he lost Daniel, he found it very hard to cope. Thus, he took on Daniel’s role of looking after others.

Biography

Coming from a family of farmers, Damien spent most of his childhood living and working out on his family farm in rural New South Wales. Throughout his younger years, he was constantly harassed/bullied by his drug addicted older brother, Thomas. Young Damien was no match for him but luckily enough, his older sister had his back at all times. Thomas would eventually runaway and was never seen again – presumed dead.

As he grew up, Damien attended an all-boys boarding school in Sydney where he met Daniel Greenhill – his best friend for many years to come. He never really excelled at any subjects other than wood/metalwork and P.E., so when it came down to his final ATAR exams he absolutely flunked them. Not wanting to continue studying or returning to farm life, Damien worked the odd job here and there to make ends meet.

Whilst working one of his jobs alongside his buddy, Daniel had dropped that he had met a special forces operator by the name of Jackson Wyatt and suggested that he should meet with him.

After hearing all about Wyatt’s career as a Commando, Damien was sold on the idea; so much so that at the age of 19, he enlisted into the Australian Army after being trained by Wyatt himself much to his parent's disapproval. He served two years as an infantryman within 3RAR before completing the Commando selection course and earning his green beret, where he was placed in Lachlan’s B Company. Turns out he had a real knack for this sort of thing as he continued to undergo a range of further Commando specialist courses after initial Commando training.

Since then, he’s done multiple tours to Urzikstan, Afghanistan and Iraq where he was introduced to Captain Price (via Lachlan) and Benjamin “Otter” Lee (via Wyatt).

Damien has since then worked alongside Captain Price closely thanks to Lachlan’s close connection to him, particularly in Urzikstan, but isn’t opposed to flying out to lend a hand wherever.

Modern Warfare I

During 2019, Damien is first seen in the UK on a training exercise with the SAS before he is swiftly sent to London’s Piccadilly Circus to assist against AQ’s terrorist attack, alongside Gaz. Afterwards, he joins the SAS Anti-terror wing along with Price and Gaz to clear a house in Camden, full of AQ affiliates in search of any information related to the Piccadilly attack and The Wolf.

Damien returns to Urzikstan alongside 2CDO REGT, where not long after he is called to assist Captain Price, Gaz and the others at the US Embassy, also aiding to save the Ambassador’s Assistant, Stacy. Following this, he follows the rest of the team back to the ambassador’s residence only to find the Wolf had been extracted by AQ forces already. Furthermore, he is seen briefly helping SAS and CIA on the night raid to locate The Wolf at his compound.

2020/2021

After the events of MW19, Damien spent this time on rotation in TAG-E, though was later sent back to Urzikstan on an emergency deployment to help aid in the assassination of an AQ leader. This proved to be a struggle. They were given little to no information and thus were subsequently ambushed, leading to the death of best friend, Daniel Greenhill, who tried to pull an injured Damien out of enemy fire.

After the funeral, Damien spent his time spiralling down. He became depressed, not leaving his Sydney apartment for days at a time and ultimately almost being discharged from his duties. Though thanks to his Captain and two close friends - Lachlan, Sparrow and Aly - they helped him find the means to work towards getting better and soon enough, he was ready enough to go back to his duties.

Modern Warfare II

In 2022, Damien is first seen undercover at Café Gracht alongside Captain Price where they wait for representatives from both AQ and Las Almas Cartel to show up. After seeing Gaz tranquillise the cartel member, they all move to enter Laswell’s vehicle and leave the area swiftly.

Later on he returns to Urzikstan, where he is again enlisted for help by Price to rescue Laswell from AQ along with ULF fighters.

Modern Warfare III

Damien spends this time going home to Australia for a little while before being sent on another tour around the Middle East. It is in Urzikstan that he (and 2CDO REGT) work alongside Phillip Graves and his Shadow Company, unaware of the events in Las Almas concerning Los Vaqueros and TF141. He is only made aware when seeing his friend Sparrow again, where she rips the SC patch off of him and promptly has a go at Damien for wearing that thing around them, explaining the full story.

Trivia

EDM and rock/metal music is what he listens to most.

He is a Mclaren F1 fan, as well as being a big fan of the AFL team: Collingwood Football Club (Magpies).

Absolute gym junkie. Has an extensive collection of pre-workout, protein powder and creatine stored in his apartment (and snuck onto base). If he wasn’t a Commando, he’d probably be a bodybuilder or athlete of some sort.

Damien keeps a scrapbook that he fills with stickers, trinkets, thoughts or drawings from various places he has visited.

During his downtime in Sydney, he likes to go café-hopping! He’s a big foodie. Also likes to take long walks during the night, overlooking the Harbour Bridge and generally just taking in the city lights. It's one of his favourite things to do to ease his mind.

Thanks to Daniel, Damien is pretty good at speaking Indonesian and really enjoys Indonesian food! His favourites are nasi campur and soda gembira. He’d mix Indonesian and English together to gossip about something to Daniel. After they both graduated high school, Daniel took Damien to visit Jakarta for the first time and he loved it! Also owns a couple batik shirts.

Drives a 79 series Landcruiser. His number plate is “WHITLOCK”.

Does jiu-jitsu and is currently at a purple belt.

Frequently visits Daniel’s grave when he has the time. He sits there for hours just catching him up on every little event or thought that has happened, as if he were there to listen like the old times. Frequently catches up with Daniel's family too, they've taken him in like he's their son.

In the past, Damien has never had a good relationship - they’ve all either cheated on him or ghosted him. He gave up looking for a partner even though he longed to have a family of his own.

Is a positive presence among everybody: Yes, a soldier sure is a tough-hard individual who is determined to follow their duty, but Scarlet is the opposite. She maintains her duties and also motivates and cheers others up to keep moving and never surrender, as taught by her father. The reason why others notice when Scarlet is present with them, they feel calm and encouraged.

Emotional, but also dangerous: Sure Scarlet looks like she's a sweet presence among everyone, but at the same time, we shall not forget she's SAS-trained. When things get serious, she gets serious. During some missions (1 and 2), she has shown remarkable strength and courage by eliminating enemy soldiers in combat, as if she's a different person. The cheerful presence Scarlet holds among others has another dark side inside that she never reveals, but towards her enemies.

Can indulge with anyone, and is respectful: She'd love to make friends or teammates! It doesn't mean she doesn't give importance to anyone, but she especially bonds a lot with Soap. They two have been childhood friends since the start and everyone notices how close they both are and thinks if they two are a couple. Even if Soap is her best friend and he has a superior rank, she'd still respect him as her Captain. But sure, personally, they two engage like they used to.

Very empathetic: Whether it's a random person or not who is dying in her arms, it breaks her. It happened once when she tried to save a person who was losing their life and in the end they couldn't make it. It makes her want to blame herself a bit, thinking she didn't do her duty right, even if everything wasn't in her power. Also, if she sees anyone in distress, she's able to console and help them in time of need, the reason why Scarlet is able to sympathise and understand others well.

BACKGROUND STORY

Born as Samantha Wright, she lives in a small town in England with her father, Albert Wright, who is a former SAS-soldier under the codename "Bolt", and mother Elizabeth. When Scarlet was a toddler, she used to hear stories from her father about him working in Special Air Services, an elite special forces unit, and retired the day when his one leg was brutally injured that made him unable to walk or run.

Those stories gave Scarlet an idea to also join the SAS like him, but her father chuckled and said that right now she was too young to do so. Sometime later, she met John MacTavish, who recently moved into her neighbourhood from Scotland, but wasn't happy that he shifted away from his homeland. She wanted John to be her friend, and make him familiar with the surroundings so he'll get used to everything and love staying at his new home. And soon, they two grew closer, and became best friends.

They two had a similar goal — to join the defense. And one day, that day had to come between the two, when John had to leave for military school. Bidding her best friend a bittersweet farewell, unsure what future has for them in between, John encouraged her to follow her dreams. Taking that as a motivation, Scarlet kept John close to heart, while continuing her aspiration to join the SAS.

Her father got to know about her plan, saying that it won't be easy, since the SAS had the toughest selection processes. That sure unsettled her for a while, but didn't make her back off from her decision respectively. Instead, she learnt a couple of exercises, tips and tricks on self-defense from him that mentally and physically prepared her fully at the same time.

When she recruited herself in the selection process, it was an absolutely different experience for her. The way her mind drastically changed during the training quite traumatized and scared her, knowing what it feels to be in the SAS. But, keeping her father's words by her side, she didn't let the weakness and fear sink her in and moved on further. At times, she was ridiculed by others that she'd never be able to complete the process, but chuckled it all out instead.

The day came, when her hard work paid off, and she finally became eligible for the special forces. It was a blessed feeling for her, as if luck always stood by her side. And this is where, her journey begins..

I think the Nancy Drew games do a really good job at portraying grief. I just finished replaying TOT, and I love how Pa is such a chipper character but has these moments of getting caught up in the memory of Ma and delivering some great speeches about the danger of tornados. Joy in CAR shows the anger that can come with grief and the fear of confronting it. Takae shows the guilt of outliving one's child, and I love how the story of the sparrow or taking care of a piece of land help show that. Similarly, Harper in GTH has the line about being "older than [her] older sister and older still today." And who could forget Clara's "Haven't I suffered enough for you?" that speaks to guilt of a different kind- she inadvertently caused Charlotte's death and has had to deal with the guilt and shame for her whole life. It's easy to miss these moments, but they are so unflinchingly human, and I think the ability to capture that is something that has set the Nancy Drew games apart.

Op Kingslayer Patch!

So a lot of you already know that I love making personalised Patches for my mutuals' ocs. And of course I was gonna make one for our favourite team in Bolivia! They are in the middle of a covert operation. Nobody has to know that they are there, so they can't use their regular patches with their respective taskforce, army, or flag. But they still have to identify themselves as a team. So they use a special patch for this operation. 👀👀

So everyone who is wearing this patch means that they are a Kingslayer, they are going for the king's head in Bolivia, El Sueño! 👀

Hope you like it! And I hope I can post the next chapter soon! I'm a little more than halfway! This chapter is so complicated to write, many things happen! A lot of action, a lot of drama, new ocs are coming in... You cry, you laugh... Hahaha I'm so excited I wish I could tell you everything but no Spoilers! 🤫

Harry Hook and LaBouff!Sparrow! Reader Headcanons

Request: Heyy, idk if you take crossovers but if you do could you do being Charlotte La Bouffs (Princess and the Frog) and Jack Sparrows (Pirates of the Caribbean) kid and dating Harry Hook (descendants) headcanons? (If you don't take crossovers please just ignore this 😭😭😭😭)

You were lucky enough to have not grown up on the Isle, both of your parents were considered heroes in their own right and so you were raised in Auradon

But even so, you weren't a student of Auradon Prep. As much as your mother thought it was a good idea for you to get used to spending time with other children like you, your father thought it a waste of time

You were raised on the Black Pearl mostly, learning how she worked, how she operated, and sometimes if she could convince your father to give the ship a rest, your mother would homeschool you in other things

Still, even despite living a somewhat sheltered life, you were still able to make friends. Tiana and Naveen's child (which I'm sure they have even though it's annoyingly not canon!) would definitely be your closest friend

But besides them, you'd also be friends with a lot of students from Auradon Prep, including the VK's

Your father is morally questionable and as a result, you tend to spend time with people mostly because you see a gain in it for you (like he taught you), so anyone you deem to be worthy or interesting for whatever reason you would hang around, regardless of where they're from

These friends are of course how you meet Harry Hook and the two of you hit it off swimmingly.

The two of you bond over being pirates, a shared love of the sea and growing up isolated from the rest of the world, no matter how many friends you both had in your respective places

It's unsurprising that the two of you eventually end up together, everyone sees it coming. Harry is a huge flirt and he would totally make the first move.

Your relationship would be a lot of dodging your parents and spending as much time as possible together though

He may be ready to stand up for himself but Harry Hook still would never mess with your dad (nobody on the open seas would) and so keeping quiet about the relationship is probably the only way to keep him safe for now

Spending time out on the ocean together, doing whatever. Steering a ship, swimming, fishing, hanging out. The ocean is both of your safe space, a mutual place where you both feel at ease

When you're away from your parents, you two are definitely PDA fiends. Especially Harry. You can't tell me he wouldn't be super proud to show you off to everyone he meets

Stealing his hat and wearing it as your own, you've always wanted a pirate hat and now you can just steal your boyfriends!!!

And yeah, when your father and mother finally find out there are mixed reactions

Your mother is excited you've found someone to love, regardless of who it is

Your father is suspicious of him, and no matter how many times you try and convince him to give Harry a chance he still gives him hassle

Despite everything though, Harry would definitely treat you right. Sure, he's a little bit of a flirt and he has some odd quirks but dating him is always an adventure and spending time with him never gets old. He would do anything for you

I was able to converse between 1838 and 1839 with a famous parrot who had been the friend of Robespierre. The poor parrot flew from window to window, until it found a charitable person to open up for it; a few days later Madame Lebas was able to regain possession of this last friend left to her by Robespierre, the only one perhaps, besides his elderly mistress, who has remained faithful to his memory. This anecdote is a bit suspect, because how would Élisabeth be able to go and fetch the parrot ”a few days” after the arrest of Robespierre when she herself was arrested just three days after it?

During the Constituent Assembly, at the time of the revision, I was one day with Buzot's wife, when her husband returned from the Assembly very late, bringing Pétion to dinner. It was the time when the court had them treated as factious, and painted them as intriguers, all occupied in stirring up and agitating. This poor animal seemed to feel that she was finding protection and asylum; I was well caressed, and I remembered this tale by Saadi, which depicts an old man, the last of men, repulsed by their passions, retired to a forest where he had made a dwelling. He animated his stay with a few animals which paid for his care with the affectionate testimonies of a gratitude to which he had confined himself, failing to find so much in his fellows. Fréron often visited madame Duplessis country house at Bourg-la-Reine and every time he played with the bunnies there. Hence the nickname Bunny (Lapin) that was given to him by Lucile. Footnote in Correspondance inédite de Camille Desmoulins (1836) by Marcellin Matton. Matton was a friend of Lucile’s mother and sister, and it’s probably from them he acquired this anecdote.

EAH Dorm Rooms Headcanons pt 21

Supporting Cast Addition

You know them, you love them, you wished you had character info/ doll of them! It's the supporting characters of EAH!

During EAH run there were many background characters in the show and book that we were curious about. Sadly, some stayed on the pages of the book series or had a limit screen time in the webseries.

I will not do all of the background characters because that would take too long.

Prudence and Charlotte Dorm

Both girls have wicked destinies, but one just wants to dance and the other just wants to play sports.

Prudence and Charlotte Step are Ashlynn's future stepsisters (step cousins) and are destined to be cruel to Ashlynn once the current Cinderella dies and her father marries one of the Evil Step-Librarians.

When, they were first introduced in 'Ashlynn Fashion Frolic' where they hijack Ashlynn's fashion show. In the end they get their karma when Ashlynn's curse turns the designer gowns into potato sacks leaving the sisters humiliate and punished by Headmaster Grimm by putting on a show without his permission and making a mess in the cafeteria.

Like most siblings Prudence and Charlotte share a room both at home and at school.

Due to Ashlynn's destiny she cleans their room and makes their outfits for them. Luckily Ashlynn has her friends and woodland critters to help her. When they befriend Ashlynn they clean their room themselves.

Their room is messy on purpose so Ashlynn will have a hard time cleaning up. Between the Wonderlanders and Sparrow Hood they're in the middle. Sparrow being 1st place, the Steps being 2nd place, and the Wonderlanders being 3rd place.

Their dorm is either the same size as Ashlynn & Briar or Duchess and Lizzie. It's a mixture of both elegant and tacky with a ton of gold motifs. Their canopy beds, vanity sets, and other furniture is made of gold.

Thier divider walls would have pictures of themselves, friends, mother, and aunt. It's not until they become friends with Ashlynn do they add her to the mix.

Prudence (the purple one) has a love for dancing despite not being good at it. Her side of the dorm has a ballet bar, a lot of cds to dance to, and a lot of space to dance.

Charlotte (the red one) has a love of football (and maybe other sports) and has football equipment, trophies, and exercise gear on her side of the dorm.

Lilly-Bo and Muffy's dorm

One loses her sheep every two seconds and one loses her curds after getting scared by a spider.

Both girls are from popular nursery rhymes and have animal companions in their tales.

I'm gonna be honest the reason I paired these two together was because of the pastel aesthetic they had going on with Lilly-Bo having a cottagecore and Muffy maybe having a pastel goth vibe.

Lilly-Bo's side of the dorm:

Lilly-Bo is the future Little Bo Peep and is doing a great job of that by losing her sheep. Not much is known about her due to being a background character except her best friend is the son of the Hero of Haarlem and she loses her sheep.

Lilly-Bo has a total of five sheep whom she cares for despite losing them. Due to their size and how many there are they sleep in the stable like the other large pets at night but can roam around the school with Lilly-Bo during the day.

Lilly-Bo's side of the dorm has a pastel and cottagecore vibe.

Her side of the dorm is filled with sheep motifs. She would have a collection of sheep plushies.

She owns a ton of running shoes to keep up with her sheep and owns a few trophies from track and field.

Due to her destiny Lilly-Bo as a collection of crooks and bonnets for every occasion. She even has bonnets for her sheep.

Muffy's side of the dorm:

Muffy is the future Little Miss Muffet who'll eat curds and whey and gets scared off by a spider. Not much is known about her due to her appearing late in the series, what is known is she's a good business woman with a love of spiders and yo-curd.

Muffy doesn't fear Mr. Spider and are in fact business partners seeing as she runs a frozen yo-curd buisiness.

Mr. Spider is a family fan and a lot of Muffy's products (like the cup she holds above) are inspired by him.

Like I said above about Mr. Spider being an influence of Muffy most of her furniture and clothes have spiderweb designs on them.

She totally has fairy lights and many tuffets throughout her side of the dorm.

She most likely isn't in her dorm that much due to running her business. She mainly uses it for homework, sleep, and to come up with new flavors for her yo-curd stand.

Harley's side of the dorm:

He's the son of a hero who saved the town by flooding with his thumb and is living up to his destiny when he's not distracted.

Not much is known about her due to being a background character except her best friend is Lilly-Bo, he's in Apple's fan club, and he plugs up leaks.

Due to his story, he takes pride in his Dutch heritage and has Dutch design and his room and tulips.

For the sake of irony, he has a waterbed that leaks a lot.

Lilly-Bo gives him blankets and sweaters that are made from her sheep's wool. Harley treasures them and finds them super comfy.

Due to always stopping leaks, Harley has nail kit and bandages to fix broken nails and hand masks to give his hands a break.

He also has repair kits with tape and cement to fix leaks himself.

He's a huge fan of Apple White and has posters and autographs of her surrounding his room.

Tiny's side of the dorm:

He's a giant with a heart as big as he is.

Tiny is the future Giant in Jack and the Beanstalk and despite being the antagonist he's a big sweetheart.

Being the tallest student at Ever After High School he has the biggest dorm in the school, tower, or stays above the clouds in a beanstalk.

His bed is made out of clouds and is one of the softest beds in school.

Before Headmaster Grimm sabotaged him Tiny was on the same dance level as Duchess, and he is very athletic to be on the school's football team. So, his dorm room is big enough for him to move around.

Tiny is athletic and is on many sports teams so he has a case full of trophies, but being a giant the trophies are tiny and are in a little case like a collector with tiny porcelain dolls.

Lily White's side of the dorm:

She's a chess piece set to be queen.

Lily only appeared briefly in 'Way Too Wonderland' so not much is known about her.

Like the other Wonderlanders she is messy most likely doesn't have a roommate due to arriving so late in the year.

Her room is designed like a chess board and chess motifs throughout her room.

Has a canopy bed and other chess furniture.

She'd be into chess and croquet so she has the equipment in her room.

Three Little Pigs and Three Billy Goats Gruff :

Two sets of brothers (maybe triplets) who supply the comic relief in the series.

Both were seen in the beginning of the series until the show decided to replace the Three Little Pigs for the Three Billy Goats Gruff for some strange reason. In my opinion they should've kept both and make them have a rivalry with each other (especially the smallest of the groups).

While the school normally has two to a dorm room the Three Little Pigs and Three Billy Goats Gruff's are the only ones with three to a dorm.

They have triple bunkbeds with the youngest at the top bunk and oldest at the bottom bunk.

Since they're the shortest students their dorm is the same size as Duchess & Lizzie, Cupid & Blondie, or Ramona & Justine.

The room is divided in three sections so each pig and goat gets his own space.
