Ooooookaaaay Round 2! Transplanted all.of those morning glories that shot up into bigger pots.

Distributed Marigolds into Basil and tomato pots.

Got 8 cucumber shoots transplanted into their own pots.

Planted Hollyhock seeds and a varying variety of different tomato plants.

My craft room is over flowing!! I can't wait to get the greenhouse back up. Hopefully it will be done by April 15th!

Took a peak in the ripening bag and I was sooo happy with how pretty all the tomatoes are looking! So many different varieties from my roof garden and from the community garden when we went and did cleanup.

My favorite local mexican joint is closed for renovations, so I am making do. Also I need to find ways to use all this cilantro I'm growing. I used canned refried beans because it's a tuesday night and I refuse to exert myself, and because I am out of sour cream to thicken them with I stuck a big spoonful of the dill-ranch cucumber spread (which is what I used up the sour cream making) and tbh it's...super good??? I did not expect that to actually pan out.

Also no one is allowed to judge me for the number of limes. I love limes. I will literally squeeze a lime onto a taco and then eat it like I'm taking shots, with bites of lime between bites of taco. I will eat limes whole with little to no provocation.

#lime peels arent great so i wouldn't really recommend that tho #the beans are in a jar because I tend to put things directly into the container I will store them in #this is a one pan meal because I cook the meat with the onions peppers garlic and tomatoes in a pan #then dump that into some pyrex that it'll be stored in #and then cook the beans in the same pan #and dump that into a jar to store it #i cleaned out the bean residue from the pan with a shell and that was a delicious crunchy snack #and then brown the shells in the same pan #because i HATE dishes

Some of my Cucumber, Morning Glory, and Marigold containers:

My tomatoes were planted the same day as everything else, but none have even broke the surface yet. I really want to grow some of those zebra and black krims. Fingers crossed they are just slow to germinate.

Here are my Jalapeno, Serrano Chili, and Mixed Pepper plants (all planted the same day as everything else pictured):

I started getting my outdoor space cleaned up from a rough winter. It was incredibly windy in Wyoming this year. It's destroyed my greenhouse and most of the progress I made last year, but I got a nice head start on the cleanup on this set of days off.

I'm pretty proud of myself for being so far ahead on the indoor gardening season.

There's this magazine that has a recepe database and they're really good with measurements, their 'X amount of ingredients for X amount of people' calculator is super trustworthy and I'm not good at guessing that type of stuff, but on the flip side it's the quintessential white middle class womens magazine so all recepes lack seasoning or fat or love so I just collect their recepes on a pinterest board with my personal note on eveything boiling down to "start with these ingredients but make it not suck"

#I have a recepe for a 'spicy cream-tomato sauce' here that does not contain anything spicy. #maybe they count the reddish tint as a spice #one of my partners good friends worked there as a copywriter for a long time so he just blames her for everything #she'd be very miffed if she heard that bc she's very into actual cooking and would never commit such crimes

Every so often someone interacts with me at just the right time for me to not remember I can exist back and it like. Jumpscares me lol. Full on go ‘ah!!’ Out loud sometimes lol

I almost dropped a full container of diced tomatoes at work. and startled I said loud enough for the customers up #front to hear it OH GOOD GRACIOUS and I don’t CARE if anybody else remembers it today or not I think it’s very funny #also heavens is a word on par with fuck to me now. another fun effect of that lol
