@ laptop OEMs, please for the love of god just learn from those goddamn bastards over at apple how to make a fucking trackpad already. because apparently they seem to be the only company in the fucking world capable of making a decent fucking trackpad that isn’t hell to use.

i spent my entire fucking childhood hating trackpads with a passion and fucking plugging goddamn fucking wired mice into every laptop i ever owned wherever i went. i never thought i would ever use a trackpad they always made my fucking fingertips itch and they were so uncomfortable.

then i got a used macbook back in 2017 no this is not a commerical fuck you apple but like. that trackpad... i fell in love. its... actually... nice to use??? it’s nice and smooth... and the multitouch gestures on mac os and ubuntu (maybe other linux distros too... i dont see it on windows tho) are so cool and convienient?? like multitouch was never on my fucking radar before then. like... when the fuck would i use shit like that? i’d been a windows user for how long? and i don’t use trackpads until suddenly I did. and like... ios is fucking Made For A Touchscreen and i never use multitouch shit except for the fucking. zoom thing. i dont even know what the other gestures are on there! why should i? you dont fucking need them! you can do anything else you want with just one finger. why take up more hand real estate to use it and also take the time to learn a bunch of unnecessary shit? but like. all that changed. anyway i learned just how nice a good trackpad can be.

now i have another computer because of Issues and uhhhhh dell what the fuck. this trackpad is hot garbage. who the fuck approved this piece of shit.  it picks up my thumb hovering over it or next to it while im typing like a piece of shit, fucking up code or documents in the process. it makes my fingertips itch again like all the goddamn windows laptops. its just this... low quality piece of shit! the texture of the plastic at least isnt fucking. abrasive like before but thats such a low bar! come on guys. like you made a perfectly nice computer and you just stick this diseased slab of pure hate onto your cool laptop. what the fuck

those apple bastards taught me to love trackpads. and then everyone else reminded me why I hated them in the first place. computer manufacturers are so incompetent  im so mad
