ETA: the asks have become curious. This hairdresser is Whetstone, in Dublin's Parliament Street. I've been going there for more than a decade now. I have really fine/thin hair and was WAY more than delighted to find someone who could cope with it.)
I love when I goto the hairdressers and they obsess over my tallness, my thick hair, how brave I am.
I've been going to her since I was a lil boy. She was nervous about me having long hair, fell in love with it and then got nervous about my cutting it.
Now she's jealous that I have no hair on any side of my head, only the top, aka a undercut extreme and yet you'd still think I have a fill head of hair
What is with some of these hairdressers and humiliating their customers? I just don't get it. Someone is paying you for a service. Instead of doing it well or maybe even helping your client, you rather film a video and embarrass her. Talking about how dry or nappy her hair is. Talking about how ugly her hair is.
Hairdressers attending the National Beauty Trades Show warm up under hair driers in an air-conditioned room at the Hotel Statler on September 1, 1953, while Erma Van Wort, in a sable cape, shows off her new coiffure. The hair driers' temperature is a mere 90 degrees, while the official thermometer outdoors measured 97. The new hairdo, achieved with free-flowing waves, is designed to direct eyes to the head. The hairdressers are members of the National Hairdressers and Cosmetologists Association.
