When did you start shipping Bianca & Alyssa? I'm intrigued to know their chemistry.

OH MY GOD THIS ASK JUST MADE MY NIGHT. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED.

(this is gonna be really long i can already tell, OOP)

so i was scrolling through bianca fics on AQ in february and i came across a single fic that was marked bianca x alyssa! it's called Bringing You Home by @mellisablan if you want to check it out :]

anyways i read it and immediately i was VERY intrigued by the thought of bialyssa as a ship!!

for starters, they're similar in personality yet also different beneath the surface. they're similar in that they're both very showy and loud and sassy and silly, but they're different in that emotionally, bianca has a tough exterior that gives way to a soft center when she lets her walls down, whereas alyssa has a more easygoing exterior but is much tougher at her core when provoked.

even the way they realize their feelings for one another is totally opposite: bianca realizes she's in love much sooner than alyssa, but her crush starts out small enough that she can just push it aside, but it slowly builds over the years until she can't really ignore it anymore. alyssa, on the other hand, realizes she's in love way down the line, and her crush builds up VERY quickly. the combination of early but slow + late but fast means that their feelings for one another finally boil over at just about the same time.

on the topic of their emotional "interiors," the way they treat their crushes on each other is the total opposite of what you would expect of them based on their exterior personalities. the self-proclaimed "hateful" bianca actually has a super soft and sweet crush on alyssa, and she often catches herself smiling whenever she thinks about her, especially when she fantasizes about the thought of them sharing their first kiss someday. then you have alyssa, who hates how much she loves bianca---see my Hate! oneshot below . . .

. . . and actively tries to suppress any romantic thought of her because not only is she terrified to fuck up her relationship with bianca (who as far as she's concerned lacks any sense of deep romantic intimacy), but she's also convinced that she's not enough for bianca.

but ultimately, as seen in my War! oneshot, they end up together after alyssa kisses bianca for the first time. i think a lot of alyssa's feelings toward bianca are really best displayed in this moment:

(yes i know it says "she's been waiting to do this for years" but i think it's the difference between like. a casual crush on a friend that's like "haha maybe i'll kiss her someday" and, years later, realizing she's in love and being like "i need to kiss her more than anything")

ANYWAYS!! once theyre a couple, they definitely move in together not long after... and lemme tell ya... bialyssa is fucking RIFE with domestic potential. witty and resourceful middle-aged women who fall in love and spend the rest of their lives making a home together? sign me the fuck up NOW !!!!!!

at the end of a long day, all they want is to relax together ... and also to get some goddamn drinks lmao. that's when they both get really soft and sweet together (ESPECIALLY bianca), when they're either drunk or sleepy or both. see my Slow Dance! oneshot below:

bianca makes alyssa laugh and makes her feel safe (because you know she will clock the SHIT out of anyone who hurts alyssa in any way). alyssa puts bianca at ease, and is one of the only people with whom she can really cast aside her "hateful" demeanor.

in conclusion: their relationship is very beautifully complex and ultimately they are just so so sooo perfect for each other weep woop 🥺

1. What is the process like? My process for commissions is as follows:

You send me a direct message on Tumblr and we discuss what you want. This is when you would show me reference images. if you have a blueprint of the house, that’d be outstanding. It makes it a lot easier on me!

I get to work and may ask questions along the way about general opinions on the house, if any problems arise, etc.

I show you a finished product in pictures of the interior and exterior for approval.

Payment transaction via purchase of a Commisioner subscription on my Patreon. You will be charged the day you pledge and then charged the same day each month. You can end your subscription or change to a lower tier before you are charged again. If you’d like to keep your Commissioner access, you are entitled to one build per month!

I send the house to you via SimFileShare

2. What is included in the price for a standard commission? The standard pricing of the Commissioner tier is $12. This is for residential homes up to four bedrooms. If you would like to commission a larger build or a community lot, DM me and we can discuss other payment methods like Paypal.

Do you take commissions for Sims 4? No I don’t sorry. I dont play TS4 enough to be good at building, so I stick with what I know - which is TS3.

Will CC come with the house? I try to use very minimal CC in builds I’ll be sharing with someone else. But the cc I do use will be included in the file because I know how annoying it is to copy and paste links or track it down yourself.

I know there is controversy about this but I don’t have the time to track down every creator’s TOU. Honest to God I’m not trying to make money off other’s creations, I’m just trying to make it easier for people to have access to pretty houses. If someone specifically does not want their stuff included in a folder, feel free to message me and I’ll oblige.

Will your furnish the home for me if I pay extra? All my CC is in .package format and therefore will not transfer with the lot when exported. Tracking down each piece of cc for a fully furnished house is a nightmare even for the most organized person. So sorry, but no.

Are there any rules once I get the build? Yes and no. It’s yours, you paid for it. Feel free to edit it, never use it, burn it down, go nuts. The one thing I ask is please do not reupload it or claim it as your own. I put a lot of time into my builds and I would like credit given where it’s due. Thank you! <3

no pressure but would you happen to have any academic advice? i have 'started' an essay i need to finish in a few days but am filled with a deep physical level of dread even though all i need to do today is maybe just over 600 words to be on track to finish it on time. like i will admit i am starting *quite* late but i have all this evening, all tomorrow, saturday night and like all of sunday and monday. didnt know if you would have any wise words?

Hey! Yeah I’m not sure if any of this is gonna help. But I definitely know how you feel and have been in your shoes a million times.

It depends on what the cause of your resistance to doing the thing is. Do you think it’s dread over simply having to write an essay? Or is it that you feel that it won’t be good/ don’t know what you’re doing?

If it’s simply writing an essay at all, then, it’s a good thing that you don’t have to write an essay! You only have to write 600 words! Is there an aspect of the subject matter that you enjoy? Is there a word or phrase, or maybe historical context, that you’re excited to research? Even if it’s technically not in chronological order. Start at the end if you have to! Start with the thing that you’re most excited about. Purely to build momentum. It’ll become easier to do more once you’ve done SOMETHING. Starting from scratch is the hardest bit.

If it’s a perfectionism issue, my go-to attempt at working around that is that I will set a 15 min timer (if that feels a lot start with 5 min and work your way up) and write garbage. Or write informally. Like, don’t get stuck on the academic jargon or the formatting or sentence structure, just write the words as they sound like in your mind. Once you’ve written a few sentences, you can go back and make them “sound academic.” In fact, I’m working on my dissertation right now. So let me do this exercise in this response to your ask, as an example. Okay? Here’s my 5 minute write up;

The point is that, weirdly, ever since Erasmus’s inversion of the Silenus statue, everyone else started doing it too. The meaning changed from being about looking past the exterior (shallow) to get to the godliness within (wise and virtuous), and instead became about the exterior and interior not being aligned. Making people suspicious of all appearances in general.

Okay now that might make some kind of sense but I can’t exactly leave that in the dissertation, right? The way that I would clean that up would be:

As Bruce Danner has shown, Renaissance usage of the Silenus figure, beginning with Erasmus‘s satire, IN PRAISE OF FOLLY, has reversed the original function of the statue figure. Rather than expressing the superiority of inward wisdom over the shallow exterior that contains it, Renaissance writers focused on the misalignment between exteriors and interiors, cultivating a culture of suspicion.

Do you see the difference? Producing this second write up from scratch gives me sooo much anxiety. But writing whatever pops into my head in a casual voice is less scary. And I dont have to get it right I just gotta type. Then fixing something that already exists is easier than facing the dreadful blank page.

Hi, thanks for all the info! sorry for the delay in my response. I wasnt able to get the links to load for me, they never have even when I have previously tried to use them when she was basically living over the there a few years back and we were looking for the house, idk what it is about that website, it just doesn't work for me. im not sure why. are we sure its her? and are you sure its the same house, does the planning mention a pool like the article does? who is listed on the application? Mr Frederic Jallot? is it his house? or can we link them to her at all? i doubt it lol i could search for the owner but id have to pay for it and i cant do that right now. i dont fully trust the article's info and i find the picture of the construction site they used to be.. interesting - it shows us literally nothing except some dirt lol surely they could have taken slightly more interesting pictures even of a construction site, its just so random. i wonder if we can link it to her somehow. anyways, thanks again. couldnt find much on the person listed as the owner of 32 steeles but either way i don think this is the house she owns but honestly who knows.

im typing this after writing the whole thing and, im just sorry. but you did ask.

ill skip right over the dozens of retextures and bugfix patches which are important but theyre already at the top of their categories on the nexus

new vegas configurator is a neat tool thats basically expanded settings, i use it to dial everything to max just cause why not

PERFORMANCE:

NVTF NVAC heap replacer occlusion overhaul are lifesavers, talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, my pc shits do death and explodes without them

wasnt sure where to put this but NMC's Pre-Generated LOD goes a loooooong way to make the world look prettier, especially when looking around from an elevated position

lighting overhauls can make everything look breathtaking even in 2021 but ive had the worst luck w them bc they dont always work or cooperate and almost all require manual .ini file changes which isnt hard but it is a headache, i use:

realistic wasteland lighting simple interior lighting overhaul a little more lamplight improved lighting shaders simple street lights and its fix

OVERHAULS:

last before we get to the actual fun stuff its time for the overhauls, WHICH ARE A NIGHTMARE BEYOND IMAGINATION AND ALL REQUIRE AND OVERWRITE EACH OTHER :) fdsfgdjhguzikrtuiweroghfjglhhgjgjsdkgfdg:

when i shoot smth in the face i damn well expect it to die, unless its a robot, then i expect it to NOT to die, these mods do that:

INTERMISSION:

some of the mods are not from the nexus or have been taken down and reuploaded to other sites but you can still use vortex to manage them youll just have to manually unpack them to the vortex staging folder

there are actually two more mods i love but that have been deleted from the nexus and not reuploaded anywhere: nv reanimated, securitron hires retexture, and vault 22 flora overhaul (tho there r other versions of the flora overhaul on the nexus i cant vouch for them i still use the original) :/

BUT WAIT, ITS NOT OVER YET

those were all the 100% lore friendly enhancements, now its time for NEW CONTENT QUESTS AND NEW LANDSFGHJSDKGKDFGDFKGKDFGH

Bloodlust - Kylo RenxOC (Vampire AU) Halloween Challenge 2021

Cora is offered to Kylo Ren as a gift so he will stop draining the blood of her towns livestock. Kylo Ren has been seeking an eternal bride for centuries and Cora's practically gift wrapped.

Week one of my Halloween challenge. The theme is obviously vampires!

Lightning illuminated the sky for a few seconds, followed by the deep rumble of thunder, the sound drowning out my screams and pleas. The townspeople had turned on me, now carrying my struggling form up the desolate hill. At the top was where the beast lived, in his dark and dreary manor. Any normal person would have thought such a place would have been uninhabited, but we had learnt the truth that hard way. Every night, the beast would venture out under the cover of darkness and drain our livestock of blood. They were rumours that the beast took the form of a man, but the more people speculated, the more outrageous the descriptions became. Some of them claimed he could take the form of a bat or a huge black dog.

And now the same people I had lived with all my life had turned on me, thinking sacrificing a pure young woman to the beast would sate its hunger for much longer. No matter how much I struggled or pleaded to be let go, nobody would free me or take pity on me. Nobody was going to change their mind. I suppose I had been the easy pick, being an orphan. Nobody would miss me; nobody would fight for me. We came to a stop before the manor, the building silent, which only made it more unnerving. Even the thunder and lightning had stopped. There was a moment’s hesitation as the town’s leaders decided who should knock.

One of them was finally brave enough to step forward. Before he could even reach the doors, however, one of them slowly creaked open to reveal only darkness inside. The door had seemingly opened on its own, which only made the townspeople more fearful. Eventually, the men holding me found their courage and forced me inside before closing the door. I tried the handle, finding it somehow locked before hammering my fists on the wood, pleading for them to let me out, to not leave me here. But the door stayed closed, they had abandoned me. Tears rolled down my cheeks, whether it be from fear, anger or anguish, I couldn’t tell. It was likely a mix of all three.

There was a sound from behind me before the room was suddenly illuminated, the candles now lit, the lamps now burning. Quickly, I turned to face my attacker, my eyes darting around the lavish empty room. Nothing. It was toying with me; it wanted to drag this out for its own amusement. Before me was a grand staircase that led to the next floor, the carpet red, clean and tidy. The interior of the manor did not match the exterior at all. There were a few other doorways that led deeper into the manor, but if I wanted to survive, it would be best to stay put for now.

At the top of the staircase emerged a man, tall and broad. He descended the staircase, all of my instincts telling me to run, but my fear had me rooted to the spot. The man was dressed in all black, his clothes that of a man with a lot of money. He had shoulder length black wavy hair, a large angular nose, a strong jawline, plush pink lips and a sprinkling of freckles and moles across his face. He looked mostly human, nor could I deny he was handsome. Until I met his gaze and noticed his pupils were red. The man stood before me, looking down at me curiously. Bashfully, I glanced down at my feet instead, suddenly more subconscious that I was before a stranger in my nightgown.

“I’ve never had guests this time of night,” he spoke, “although judging by the angry mob outside, I’m guessing you weren’t exactly a willing participant.” This took me off guard. Why hadn’t he killed me yet? Why was he still dragging this out? “They think gifting me a pretty girl will make me leave them alone? How barbaric,” he continued. His eyes raked over my form, making me shrink back further against the door. He chuckled softly at my shyness. “Dont be afraid, I don’t wish to harm you even if draining you dry would be tempting. I think I can find other uses for you, ones that you might even enjoy. What is your name?”

Hesitantly, I met his gaze, “Cora. My name is Cora.” “I am Kylo Ren. Do you know what a vampire is, Cora?” I nodded once, “somewhat. I know you need to blood to survive, and sunlight can hurt you.” “Correct. But there’s much more to it than that. Much for you to learn.” “To learn?” Kylo cupped my cheek, forcing my gaze on him once more. Something about his gaze this time drew me in further, made it so I couldn’t look away. Kylo smiled, his thumb tracing over my lips.

“It’s been centuries since I’ve had female company,” Kylo mused, “and they sent you to me gift wrapped in white, too. A fitting colour for a bride.” I knew I should protest; I should run from him, but my body refused to move. Marrying him would be better than having him kill me. But a lifetime tied to this monster? That I’d only just met? “I sense doubt within you. I understand it’s a big commitment, but once I gift you with eternal life, you will be able to use your newfound strength to seek revenge on those who wronged you. Wouldn’t you want that? To stop them from doing this to another poor girl?” Kylo asked.

Before I had a chance to think about it, I found myself agreeing. It felt as if I wasn’t in control of myself anymore. “Yes,” I replied. Kylo picked me up bridal style and although some distant voice in my head told me to resist and struggle, my body didn’t follow those instructions. Wrapping my arms around his neck, I relaxed into his hold. There was a sense of security and safety with him instead of the fear and uncertainty I had previously felt. Maybe he was telling the truth, maybe he wasn’t just saying these things to lull me into a false sense of security. Kylo carried me upstairs and down the hall to what I assumed was his bedroom.

The bedroom was large, fit for royalty. The bed sat in the centre of the room and was large, round, with plenty of silken sheets and pillows. Tapestries lined the walls and fur rugs littered the floor. Kylo put me down at the foot of the bed, his hands on my hips and his chest pressed against mine. Up this close, he was even more handsome, and I found myself getting lost further in his eyes. Any doubts in my head seemed to be silenced. Kylo leaned forward and pressed his lips to mine. The kiss was slow and passionate, everything I had dreamed of for a first kiss. Heat spread across my cheeks and a new heat spread between my legs.

Kylo pulled me in closer as he deepened the kiss whilst his fingers tangled through my hair. When he pulled away, I only felt more ready to do anything this man asked of me. Kylo kissed his way across my cheek, down my jawline and to my neck. There was a moment of pause before there was something sharp against my neck. The pain I felt passed quickly as Kylo drank from me eagerly. Eventually he pulled away, his gaze hungrier than before. “You taste divine, never have I tasted blood as sweet as yours,” Kylo spoke softly.

Before I could respond, he kissed me again, hungrier this time, almost possessive. His hands travelled to the front of my nightgown, pulling apart the bow at the front. He pulled the bodice open before pushing the white gown down my shoulders. It fell into a pile at my feet, my body now bare and exposed to him. I knew I should protest, covering my body from his greedy gaze, but modesty didn’t seem to matter anymore. He wanted me, and I was powerless to resist. Nor did I want to. Nothing was left for me out there, the people in my town had made that very clear. And yet here was this man who would gift me the power to destroy those who had wronged me, all for a taste of my blood.

Kylo’s hands ghosted down my sides to my hips as his eyes raked over my form. His touch made my skin form goosebumps, he was being so gentle as if I was something delicate, something fragile. “Lay down for me,” he instructed. After making myself comfortable on the bed, I watched as Kylo undressed himself. He really was good to look at. Every part of him was so defined, like he’d been sculpted from marble. I wanted to touch him, feel his skin on mine. I wanted to be his. For eternity. Kylo followed me onto the bed, climbing on top of me. “Someone as beautiful as you deserves to be worshiped,” Kylo murmured.

Kylo kissed me once more before making another trail with his lips, this time going further than my neck. He kissed across the swell of my breasts, pausing to suck my nipples between his plush lips. There was a brief sharpness from his fangs before he drank from me again. This time, it was more pleasurable, forcing a soft moan from me as I threaded my fingers through his long, silky hair. He soon moved on, kissing down my stomach to my hips, where he briefly stopped for more blood.

The heat between my legs had grown to an ache that I was desperate for him to soothe. Ignoring my impatient whines, Kylo moved down to my thighs, kissing across them before sinking his teeth into the supple flesh. My hips bucked and his grip tightened to keep me still. Once finished, he moved to rest between my legs, spreading them further before lapping at my wetness. Never did I imagine I could feel such pleasure from a man. I threw my head back against the pillows, moaning louder as he continued pleasuring me with his tongue.

Kylo groaned at my taste, now focusing his attention on my sensitive bundle of nerves. He seemed hungrier than before, as if my blood hadn’t been enough to sate his hunger. Gently, he slipped a finger into my tightness, working me open before he added a second digit. My moans grew louder, as did my pleasure, my grip on his hair getting tighter. It was all so much at once and yet not enough. Kylo curled his fingers inside me, his name falling from my lips.

Something was quickly building deep in my belly, and after a few more moments, the pleasure became overwhelming. My hips bucked and my free hand fisted the silken sheets as I cried out my release. Kylo worked me through every wave before sucking his fingers clean. “I cannot decide what tastes better, your blood or your cunt,” Kylo mused, “but I would gladly feast on either for hours.” Kylo leaned down to kiss me, letting me taste myself on his tongue. “I’ve tasted you, now it’s your turn to taste me,” he spoke, pulling away from me.

Sitting back on his knees, Kylo bit into his own wrist before offering it to me. Blood slowly seeped from the wound, a drop threatening to be wasted on the sheets. Isaac and Leonardo reacting to MC who is an astronaut and engineer in the 21st century

So how this all would start out: isaac and leonardo would be in the library trying to fix whatever complicated looking engine isaac had bought from a second hand shop.

Underestimating the complexity of the device, their brains were starting to fry itself. That's when MC came in.

"Good afternoon. You both seem in distress." MC said

Leonardo and isaac looked at her direction

"You could say so, this item is rather nasty to fix cara mia" leonardo said, tapping his finger on the table, trying to figure out his next step

"Indeed" isaac said letting out a huge sigh

She approached them, and her eyes immideately recognize what device they were tinkering

"Ah, i have seen simmilar machines from my time period- improved ones of course." Mc said

"Im positive that i can fix this for you both." MC said as she sat down next to them

Leonardo and isaac wasn't expecting this from her.

Trusting her, isaac and leonardo gave the tools to her

She examined the contents of the machine, both the interior and the exterior. She started dismantling the interior as it seems like things were inserted and screwed in in the wrong order and places.

Both isaac and leonardo looked at her, full of amazement, observing every move she took.

Taking a new piece of gear and chains from the toolbox, she fitted it into the machine.

She flicked the small lever on the side, immideately the gear started spinning slowly, picking up pace. eventually the machine rumbled, once again full of life.

Their eyes widen

"Impressive, cara mia!" Leonardo said as he ruffled her hair

"How..did you just do that so easily?" Isaac asked in disbelieve

"Im familiar with such. im an astronaut, and engineering is one of the things i had to master." She explained

"Pardon? An astro? Astrona..ut?" Isaac asked, unfammiliar with that word

He glanced over to leonardo who shrugged

"Oh, i forgot such term didn't exist in both of your time periods!" MC exclaimed in realization

"An astronaut is someone who travel in space. i specifically work in the space station- to make it sound simple, its like this special building that stays in the earth's low orbit." She explained

They both froze and tried to process what she had just explained

Issac and leonardo looked at each other

"Did.. i hear that right? Up in space you say?" Isaac asked making sure he wasn't going bonkers

Both geniuses were at disbelief

"Yes! We travel to space using this vehicle called a rocket! I could explain more in depth- but before that, i have some photographs i could show you both. Are you guys intere-"

"Yes!" They both exclaimed, eyes sparkling up

Mc looked at them and giggled

"Alright, give me a minute. I will go fetch them." MC said as she exited the room.

MC came back with a book, her diary specifically. It was jammed with many photograph, some even stuck out of the book.

"Alright- additional information for you both, photographs from my time period are also advanced. By that, i mean that the pictures are coloured and crystal clear" MC said

"Cara mia, im beyond surprised. You might as well end up giving me a heart attack with anything you say" leonardo joked as he lit up a ciggarillo

"Dont worry leo, the only thing that will be giving you a heart attack is your ciggarilos" MC joked back causing leonardo to choke while isaac snorted slightly, surpressing a laugh.

"Alright! Back to the topic"

Mc revealed the pictures she had with her, starting from her in her space suit, the space station, earth from above, rockets, and an image her colegue took when she was outside the space station, working on it.

The pure enthusiasm isaac showed was immaculate

He sounds way out of character with how enthustiastic he was

He was practically smiling and grinning like a child in a candy store

Isaac was particularly interested with how the space station worked as well as how the space suit worked.

Leonardo on the other hand didn't have that lazy voice when he spoke

His voice was more lively than ever

His eyes were even wide and bright with life

Leonardo would be most interested with the rocket as in his younger days, he was obsessed with the possibility of humans flying up in the sky with some sort of aircraft. He even made sketches of how he envisioned them.

He would question the types of aircrafts that existed in her time period

"The 21st century... sure is something" leonardo said

"Agreed, agreed." Isaac said

Eversince that encounter, whenever three of them hung out, they would talk about space, physics, engineering, theories, maths, and even the possibility of alien life- basically some cool kid stuff going on 😎

MC would also tell them how humans have landed on the moon, once again melting their brains

Eventually the residents will grow curious about the three of them dissapearing for a long period of time on some days

To them it seems like MC, leo and isaac had formed some sort of cult considering how out of character leo and isaac sounded o.o

In the end, the three of them explained what was going on to whoever was curious about their little "cult"

Probably everyones brain froze trying to process the information they were told- well except comte and sebastian xD

The First Day of School

It was a dewy morning. Not too hot, not too cold, far too humid. It was the usual for Hyakkou High School, where students came to learn and excel in their studies while maintaining good social relationships. The school was usually filled with many different students. Any stereotype you could think of, Hyakkou had it.

The students usually had fun. The Principal was quite lax when it came to certain things. All he asked of the students was to respect each other and respect the building. And to keep their grades up of course. They would be failing as a school if the students weren’t receiving the proper education!

And this is where their story begins.

“Ack. Hey! Mary!” Ryota called out from behind the blonde, who was currently looking down on her phone. The boy ran up to his best friend, hooking his arm around the back of her neck to bring her into a headlock. “Hey! Don’t mess up my hair you dork!” Mary growled, trying to wrestle her way out of Ryota’s lock.

The two continued their conundrum until they reached the gates of the school, where Mary finally got a good grip and threw her friend over her shoulder, thus leading to him falling on his backpack. “Ow…,” he muttered, smiling like an idiot.

Mary Saotome and Ryota Suzui had been friends since childhood. They were even neighbors, and she often came over to his house to play on his Wii with him. Their friendship had blossomed into a relationship.

Until they realized they were better off as best friends. In fact, after they had broken up and continued to be platonic, it seemed as though their friendship grew stronger.

“Hi guys!” The two heard a familiar voice, registering it as their other best friend, Yumeko Jabami. Yumeko had met them all in middle school, when she had moved here with her sister. The ravenette was one to take risks, and found pleasure in dangerous things. Of course, only in moderation. In reality, the only things she had taken much risk for was a move in a fighting game. Or a board game.

Her bubbly exterior was often in place of her mellow interior. She tended to keep to herself truly, unless with her friends.

“Yumeko!” Ryota yelled happily, jogging over and scooping the girl in a tight hug. Much to his delight, Yumeko returned the hug tenfold.

“ShiT, I can’t breaTHE-,” he barely managed, his face turning purple. He should have known, the girl was a strong hugger. “Oi, calm down you two, before I separate you guys for 10 minutes straight, and I know that will be a pain since you usually do homework together in the mornings,” Mary stated, crossing her arms. Yumeko finally relented, giving Ryota’s respiratory system some reprieve. Yumeko looked quite meek, but she could give hugs like no other.

“Mary!” Yumeko giggled, giving the blonde another one of her bone crushing hugs. “Sup, dumbass,” Mary replied, smiling softly at her friend’s gestures of affection. “Are you all ready for your first days of school!?”

It was the start of junior year for the three, and boy were their classes packed. Ryota was taking a few classes on science and health, as well as a gym class to exercise and get fit. He wanted to be a firefighter, and such education was necessary to ensure he was a good candidate for the job.

“I have… Anatomy first period. Woohoo,” Mary sighed. She was actually quite excited, but decided not to show it in order to keep her cool exterior. The path she had chosen was Emergency Medical Services, and taking anatomy was the first step in her opinion.

“Oh? That’s so wonderful! I have Calculus for my first period. I wonder if Sayaka is going to be in that class!” Yumeko said eagerly. Sayaka was one of the other kids attending this school. The girl mainly kept to herself, but she had recently started acquainting herself with the ravenette.

“Gah! Sorry I’m late guys! I kinda missed my bus…” A ginger voice panted, revealed to be none other than Itsuki Sumeragi. The strawberry blonde had met the three last year when she was a sophomore. After transferring from a private school to Hyakkou, the tight-knit group had taken her in, welcoming her as one of their own. “Hey! I heard there’s gonna be a pair of new students! I hear they’re seniors,” Itsuki gossiped, taking out her Nintendo Switch and turning it on.

“Ooh, Smash? Let’s do this!” Ryota declared, taking his controller and setting it to his button map.

“So what about these new students? Do they seem weird or anything?” Mary inquired, picking her character, King K. Rool, and setting her button map. “Oh come on, why do you ALWAYS play heavies!?” Ryota complained, picking Marth as his character. “Because heavies are fucking goated, why else?” the blonde snarked back, a sly smirk on her face.

“I don’t know. But I heard they’re twins!” Itsuki giggled, sitting down to watch them play.

“Heya guys,” a shrill voice came out of nowhere. “You playin’ Smash? I’ll join!” it giggled. Runa had seemingly appeared out of nowhere in her oversized jacket. “Oh no…,” The entire group groaned.

“Runa, you’re cool and all, but whenever we play with you, you find a way to resize our assholes every match in different ways. I really don’t want to get 0-to-deathed consecutively while you stay on three stocks. Seriously, how the fuck do you even do it!?” Mary spoke, seemingly for the entire group. “I dunno, just practice TBH,” was all Runa said, picking up a controller. “And fuck you, I’m playing anyway.”

The sound of groans could be heard around the courtyard after that statement.

Sayaka Igarashi, resident Valedictorian-to-be, had come over to the table with Midari Ikishima, who was dragging along a seemingly sleepy senior. “C’mon Yuriko. I know you have senioritis but our friends are here!” Midari grumbled, literally dragging Yuriko. Yuriko Nishinotounin had gotten a severe case of Senioritis, especially since most of her classes were a breeze this year.

“Would you both calm down please!? They’re playing a game, and I’m trying to read!” Sayaka chided, mentally swearing at the rebel. “Chill out, Sayaka, Yuriko is already falling asleep on me and it’s not even 7:30!” Midari grumbled.

“I can’t wait for senior year to be over,” Yuriko yawned, sitting on the table everyone was at basically falling asleep.

“What the fu- NO!” Mary yelled, distracted by Yuriko long enough for Runa to get a move on her, resulting in her virtual demise. “Fuuuuck!” she sighed, hitting her head against the wooden table. “FUCK!” she repeated, after feeling the pain that came along with it. Ryota had already fallen out of the competition.

Please nerf Lucas.

Yumeko hummed happily to herself, reading some random tabloid article on her phone. As the bell rang, they all dispersed into their classes.

“See you guys later!” Ryota called, jogging over to the weight room for his first period.

The three girls had made their way over to the Portables, then separating into their classrooms.

Sayaka practically dragged her two friends to their classes and then her own, all while keeping to the schedule. Anatomy was her first period, and she sat next to Mary.

It wouldn’t be too bad of a year. Mary was a good student and wasn’t too hard to talk to. She just mostly liked to keep to herself.

“Good morning class! Welcome to Anatomy! You guys are obviously gonna be learning about the body, it’s functions, what is where and what goes where and woop dee dah, all the good stuff! Hopefully I can make learning about how food passes through the body actually entertaining for y’all, but first we have two new students with us today! They’ve recently transferred over, so let’s give ‘em a warm welcome to Hyakkou!” The teacher, Mrs. Murray, announced. She looked a bit older, with a tall figure and ginger hair in her face. Her glasses looked odd, but it added to her look.

People like Mrs. Murray because she was actually a good teacher. She cared about her students and actually helped them if they needed it.

“Ladies, if you would please introduce yourselves!”

The entire class looked at the two, and for a moment they thought they saw double.

“Hello. My name is Kirari Momobami. I’m a senior here, and it’s a pleasure to meet you all. I hope we can get along,” The girl, now known as Kirari, had stated.

It seemed her sister’s turn was up next.

“Er.. I’m Ririka Momobami. We’re twins. I hope we can… have a good time!” Ririka muttered, almost too quietly for the class to hear.

Mrs. Murray smiled and beckoned them to take their seats.

Their seats were in front of both Sayaka and Mary, who seemed to be in a state of both ‘gay’ and ‘panic’.

The two twins looked vastly different, with Kirari’s hair done in twin loop braids and dressed in a rather classy manner, while Ririka’s hair was free to fall.

Wait.

Did Ririka have a sweatshirt that had the Poggers Man on it?

Mary internally laughed at that. It was adorable.

When class had dispersed to work in groups, Mary and Sayaka had picked each other on instinct, then looking for two more partners to start their work on.

“Sayaka!” Mary whisper-yelled, a small blush on her face. She then gestured to her phone to text the girl.

Mary S: HOLY SHIT IM GAY

Sayaka I: I am too. Which one are you gay for?

Mary S: Ririka.

Sayaka I: Oh. I like her too.

Mary glared at Sayaka for a moment.

Mary S: The one with the adorable hair and clothing?

The blonde mentally facepalmed, of course Sayaka would think that. No matter the twin.

Sayaka I: Yes. I love how her hair is done. Plus her shirt looks nice.

Mary S: Oh. So the one with the weird braids?

Sayaka I: Don’t call them weird.

Mary S: ok but dont worry cause im crushing on the other twin. I swear her sweatshirt is adorable.

Sayaka I: .

Sayaka I: poggers

Mary S: LMAO HOLD UP IM SCREENSHOTTING THIS ONE

Sayaka I: Be my guest.

The two had reluctantly come up to the twins.

“Hello! I am Sayaka Igarashi, and this is Mary Saotome. It seems you both don’t have another pair, so if you’d like, we can work with you,” Sayaka stated, trying to sound as polite as possible. Nothing could hide the blush on her face though.

“Sure, I would love to work with you both,” Kirari replied, a small smirk forming on her face.

Ririka just nodded with a small smile.

It was going to be a long year.

Hi :) someone probably asked you this before, but how do you do the builds in render? Specifically, how do you add the wall/floor textures from the game? I tried once but it didnt rlly turn out well, i guess maybe its a setting thing but either way, thats why im asking 😅 Anyways.... you dont have to answer this if u dont want to and i hope you have/had a nice day :)

hiii!!! this is one of those things that i got hung up on and i was disgusted at how easy it actually was once i knew what the hell i was doing. i’ll go into all the intricacies of an entire build another day, but for now i’ll show you how to apply textures to walls and floor!

also worth checking out: the first half of this tutorial is incredibly helpful if you wanna get started with building interior, and this tutorial for the build add on has been helpful, too! the add on was designed for exteriors, but i use it to cut away spaces for windows and doors, and borrowing textures and items from the game makes things look cohesive.

step one is make sure your cube is selected, and hop over to the material panel. for every texture you plan on using, you’re going to add a new material by hitting the little plus sign, like so! and i cannot stress this enough: rename textures you plan on using more than once.

once all your materials are made, hit tab to enter edit mode, and choose “face select”

from here, you’re going to want to select the faces where the texture will be applied (like the floor), and in your material panel, find the texture you want, and hit “assign.” you can select multiple faces at once by holding shift while you do it, in the instance of walls.

after you’ve applied the textures, hit A to select all, hit U to bring up the UV options, and select “cube projection,” to let blender know what the hell you’re thinking!!! now you can hit tab again to go back into object mode, and we’re going to hop over to the shading panel.

it’s your worst fear: nodes. it’s been nodes the whole time. luckily it’s only two, but they are a little finnicky depending on the textures you’re working with. you’re going to want to create two new nodes: a mapping node, and a texture coordinate node. plug them in like so:

from here on out, all your attention is gonna be focused on the mapping node. it’s very finnicky, very tedious, and unfortunately i don’t have any words of wisdom other than be patient and save your progress often while you fiddle with it, until it looks how you want it to look. unfortunately, it’s that simple, and it depends entirely on the textures you’re using and how you want them applied!

First of all, spectacular entrance anon, you have given me two mental images here that are absolutely hilarious

One: you are a person cooly leaning across a cat tower that is very clearly leaning and falling over as you speak. Or, Two: you are a very tiny cat upon the top of a cat tree looking down at me smugly as you ask this, but specifically in an ms paint doodle style. I applaud you on your vibes for both.

Now, onto the Hermitcraft!

(Note from future Mattie, this was so much longer than intended that there is now a read more, hope you’re ready for a lot of typing)

There are! 23 active Hermits playing on the hermitcraft server at the minute! That is a lot of people, and there for a lot of styles of content! I could give you my personal ‘hey i watch these people’ but it might not be what you’re looking for so! First off, hermit flow charts for what kind of content they make (Taken from Reddit):

Next, you may be thinking hey, there’s 7 seasons of this! Where do I start?

Well dear anon, that, doesn’t actually matter much. As in like, you really don’t need to start at the beginning. You can go back at anytime but there’s not exactly anything crucial to the point where you need to go back unless you want to at a later time for more content and to get a few in jokes. I’d recommend just staying with season 7! We’re getting close to the end of season 7, not like soon, maybe a few months? But like you know, you should be good there, and there’s plenty of content!

So you’ve gone through the flow chart, while whoever you get content wise might be what you’re looking for, their vibes might not! High energy, low energy, their episode pacing, it just might not be what you’re looking for at the minute!

While I cant exactly give you a clip of one of ever hermits episode to chose who’s editing is what you enjoy, I can offer you advice of what will pretty much happen because of this: You will watch the first few episodes and end up with multiple people you wan to check out from their vibes. You do not enter hermitcraft and come out with one content creator, you usually end up with like, 5, or more, probably more.

So! Don’t worry about going to them when you first start. Like really, ultimately the pacing is up to you and you really might end up watching just one or two people! But just, don’t overwhelm yourself when you first begin, if there’s anything important going on you’ll usually hear about at least a little what other people are doing, there’s no story stuff really so don’t worry on missing out on stuff. It’s just individual person and projects experience :)

And finally, because I’m not one to miss an opportunity, you do get a list of the hermits I have watched to varying degrees! I’m not going to pass up the ability to go ‘hey! this persons cool!’ in no particular order aside from numbering for the sake of list.

1. Joe Hills - His vibes are absolutely immaculate, you are going to be incredibly confused and baffled or completely vibing but either way next thing you know you’re completely sucked in and excited about the poetry at the end of the episodes. That’s the joe hills difference! (Also if you manage to catch a joe stream I recommend it because theres just, so much more vibes there)

2. BdoubleO100 - oh my god his builds. i would die for this mans builds. his houses????? oh my god??? the interiors,, the exteriors!! Also he’s just!! Vibes but like Unhinged in the most loving way possible! I think? He was a radio host like actually at some point? I dont know if my brain made that up but his vocal range is wild and it is the most entertaining engaging narrating I know of dude

3. Zedaph - god these really are just based on vibes, but more vibes!! Very very good vibes he makes me very happy. His editing is wonderful and his intro is very fun. The most understable and enjoyable redstone shenanigenry and general shenaniganry i have ever encountered. just,,, zedaph,,

4. RenDog - Now, I have not watched a single hermitcraft episode from this man but I have watched about 7 hours worth of streaming from him over the past two days and feel like he should be here

5. TangoTek- Same reason as above, I watch his streams only but once you see his creations you will get it this man is absolutely amazing at what he does also good vibes and absolutely entertaining i adore the him

6. Goodtimeswithscar - By far very high up on the oh my god this man and can build and oh my god this man has the best vibes. Shenaniganry! Very very fun! Building and things and part of some of the big server stuff! :D Scar!

7. Grian - You probably know him, very big builds and crimes! Chaos! Really did prank his neighbor on the first day of the server and I respect him for it. Usually the cause of the main server events. Actually though the tone of his videos are rather chill and is generally considered very good for people starting out with HC! Also obligatory good vibes.

8. Ethoslab - Final one! Etho, reasoning: Etho
