One thing I fucking love about komahina that I don’t see talked about a lot is that both Nagito and Hajime are basically both completely different and yet the same person. Like yes, on the surface Nagito is this depressed, batshit crazy person and Hajime is just some guy. But when you get down into their characters, both of them are two individuals who are both depressed and really fucking lonely and feel inferior to everyone around them. Both of them admire ultimates so much and feel so inadequate by comparison to them, Nagito to the point he’s willing to die for them and Hajime to the point of giving up his entire being just to be one of them. And they’re both two people who, despite deeply hating themselves, just have to have faith that things will get better. I honestly think the reason Nagito is so hostile to Hajime after finding out he’s a reserve course student is because Hajime just reminds him of the parts of himself he hates.

I just think there’s something so genuinely moving and beautiful about these two characters who deeply hate themselves learning to love each other and in the process learning to hate themselves a little less. They both feel so lonely and yet, against all odds, they find that the last person they ever expected to get it, understands completely how they feel.

ngl i find it pretty cute that Truth Bullets are actually just hajime’s inner notepad, so when he “adds it to the handbook,” he’s technically just keeping that piece of evidence in the back of his mind.

…and of course i gotta bring komahina into it aND I JUST THINK ITS CUTE OKAY—

after the betrayal thing too i think it’s pretty adorable that hajime still takes nagito seriously even though most people don’t.

(for those of you who MIGHT be wondering, this takes place during the Ibuki/Hiyoko case investigation where hajime was gonna overlook (??) the rope but then nagito came in and BOOM, hajime is suddenly a believer)

Danganronpa 2! It has my favorite everything. Favorite cast, favorite protag +antag, atmosphere, themes, murder cases, colors scheme,music, EVERYTHING. I do think its only as good as it is because its a sequel to thh, but I still greatly prefer it. I love the character arcs, and the focus on the future theme, I just love all of it

God I love them. I love both toko and komaru individually, and their dynamic is exactly my shit. Love when characters start out in conflict but by the end the power if their bond can overcome the big bad. God, good shit. I love that they help eachother grow and become better, stronger people together. They're so mf cute and gay and they make me weak

Ooh ok we're gonna go chronological

Makoto: My boy i love him! I love characters who are just genuinely kind and good-hearted. I love that he gets his strength from caring so much.

Hajime: I rambled about him in the other ask but he's my fave. We love a bisexual cringefail insecure loser, you go king.

Komaru: my beloved!! I love that in a series full of "normal" characters, she really is genuinely average. She reads popular manga. Her favorite music is the most popular pop star in the country. The weirdest thing about her is she likes weird food combos. But she still saves an entire city, even though she struggled the whole time. I think her arc is so great and I love her sm

Kaede: I like Kaede a lot! She really is a bisexual with the Audacity. I love how outgoing and determined she is. And I really think her tragedy in being the killer in chapter 1 really works and is super interesting.

Shuichi: a wet cat of a man (positive). He's great! I also really like his arc. It's definitely the strongest thing about v3 imo.

Favorite character - Hinata Hajime!! Honestly just such a sweet and nerdy character thats super relatable!! Love him sm!! uwu

Second favorite character - Makoto Naegi!! Adorable, shy, but very brave! Honestly all things I looked for in a great character! He’s just so precious and i love him so much!! 

Least favorite character - Oh man thats tough but I guess…Yamada? Maybe? Never really paid him much mind but I don’t hate him! I love all the DR characters, but I guess he’s just one that never really struck me a ton?

The character I’m most like - Sonia or Nanami!

Favorite pairing - Probably Maizono x Kirigiri or Peko x Fuyu! I also love Kirgiri x Naegi though!

Least favorite pairing - Komahina probably! Nothing against the characters/pairing itself its just not a ship I prefer?

Favorite moment - Oh my goodness so many! Buuut I’d have to say the end of SDR2? The whole arc of Hinata figuring out who he was and then making it clear he did not want to be seen as someone like Izuru was pretty powerful but! I also very much enjoyed later on when he came into terms that they both were a part of him! ^^

Favorite character - Nozomi Toujou!! A super cute sweetie pie and mom figure!

Second favorite character - Mari Ohara/Hanayo Koizumi! A “shiny” and incredible singer and a shy little idol!

The character I’m most like - Kotori Minami or Honoka Kousaka! Maybe also a little of Hanamaru?

Favorite moment - This was a pretty old moment, but I absolutely loved the scene from the first season when, even though no one showed up to their performance, the early Muse girls still went on strong with their show! It made me tear up and I just thought it was so heartwarming!

Rating out of 10 - 10/10! One of my favorite series ever!

Favorite character - D.vA!! My main and an adorable loved gamer! Such a sweetie pie!

Second favorite character - Sombra or Widowmaker!

Least favorite character - Hmm I’d have to say Roadhog? A character I never really play, I’ve just never had interest in him!
