Releasing Today, Feb 20, 2024!

Got a couple games for today:

Nightingale is a PvE Survival Crafting FPS with a Victorian steampunk theme. It's definitely a fantasy vibe over the Bioshock Infinite vibe people think of in steampunk now. Looks promising - I like that it has bosses and characters from stories like Around the World in 80 Days and Frankenstein.

So there's also a Redwall game coming out. Well, it already came out in like 2018, but wikipedia has no idea what really happened with the last 4 episodes but they're supposed to be in here? The page only has 3 acts so I have no idea what happened to the original roadmap. It's a 3D platformer.

Idle fields is a cute clicker game where you hire workers to farm and fish.

Contrasting to the last game, Lazaret is a FPS horror game taking place in a ship where you have to run/hide from a scary Big Daddy-esque diver.

Qomp 2 is a sequel to Qomp, an Atari-funded indie twist on Pong but the ball wants to go do something else. The original game controlled with one button, but this one... controls with two. Um... It at least looks fun. (I know it's funded by Atari but how many times has Atari gone bankrupt I swear)

Something very slightly out of the ordinary for Mother's Day, drawn two days ago.

I've never settled on the design for Lazaret's caretaker until lately because it was hard for me to pick the species of bird that they should have been (because I have specifically stated in Lazaret's lore that they're not the same species as her, therefore causing Lazaret to never being able to fully blend in with her own kind due to her past).

I've decided to settle with a very unlikely choice - a British bird of prey known as the western marsh harrier. This is partially due to the fact that gannets almost have no natural predators, and I doubt that a small marsh harrier could easily tackle and take down a gannet in real life. I still haven't picked the name of said caretaker yet, but I have already decided that she is going to be Lazaret's adoptive mother according to her lore.

Lazaret's adoptive mother is a nurse, and this was also stated in her lore. This might just be the reason why she's actually really dedicated in taking care of baby Lazaret even though she's... well... quite big for a baby. (She even almost quit her job just to take care of the baby after she found her.) Even after Lazaret grew up and left her just so she could isolate herself from society, her adoptive mother still misses her very much.

I might not be posting more baby Lazaret content after this, but still, have this for now. I'm quite busy lately, so I will not be posting much.

Oh, also, this is what a female western marsh harrier looks like, just in case you were curious: (the species is sexually dimorphic, which means males and females have different appearances)
