Lyrics:
Never be you
Take a look in my eyes
It's been a long, long time
I used to feel so strong
When I knew you were mine
Since you let me down
I'm hard to be around
I don't know what I'm gonna do
He could never be you
He could never be you
He could never be you
I guess it all comes around
Baby please don't cry
Love is gonna be a little reckless
Oh Love is all I have to stand trial
But since you let me go
There's nothing going on
I don't know what I'm gonna do
He could never be you
He could never be you
He could never be you
He knows the moves
He play's the part
But he only has me
He don't have my heart
He could never be you
He could never be you
He could never be you?
So take a look in my eyes
No you can't hide the truth
No, you don't get by on pride
Cause it'll run over you
But since you let me down
I'm hard to be around
I don't know what I'm gonna do
He could never be you
He could never be you
He could never be you
Songwriter:
Benjamin M Tench III / Thomas Earl Petty

Maria McKee - I’m Gonna Soothe You
Don't worry, I won't do you any harm
My touch is gentle, my body is warm
Lift your head, feel my cool hand on your face
Let me kiss your tears away
If you let me in, honey let me stay
Lay your head on my breast
I'll do the rest

♫ A Good Heart ♫
The other night in an email, David mentioned the name Feargal Sharkey. David sometimes plays around with words, so I really thought he was making this one up, and I asked him who the heck ‘Feargal Sharkey’ was … or is. He was stunned to find I hadn’t heard of him before and suggested this song, A Good Heart, as a good starting point. Well, long story short, I listened, I liked, and I can’t…
