#What if you were the protag of a crime sandbox game and you’re just minding your damn business having fun creating a criminal empire #with the big twist of the game and your character being you’re actually a woman who was pretending to be a man the whole time #to be respected by all these damn mission givers in the mob #And your game is popular. nice and popular. gets a lot of sales even. so it gets rereleased #and then re-released. and re-released. and it’s been years since the company made a proper Sequel because you brought in so many profits #So not only are you getting tired of the monotony of replaying the same story time and time again but the world is too #and it turns out a lot of the world never liked you to begin with. they didn’t like the twist. people hate it.#because not only are you a woman. but you’re a masculine woman. in a male dominated video game franchise.#so your entire existence is now vitriol as the world wants the new protagonist already they want the new game and they’re sick of you #and then what finally kills you is a botched remastered that fully solidifies your fall from grace #and now all you have left in the void is your car.#and all you have ever know was crime. to steal and kill. to create chaos and wake up in the hospital after being ‘wasted’#This is all you are. All you have is the capacity to hurt others. You are a criminal and nothing else #Now go scam more fallen game characters in the void; buddy.#You need five dollars to get a burger!!!#anyways.

Woah this little project has been going on for 3 years now! A little crazy that I've managed to keep this thing running but I am nothing if not committed to the bit. Thank you to everyone who has been here since day one and everyone who has followed along more recently in this journey to post every single Sanji! Here's to three more years 🥂

#not sanji #this isnt housekeeping either but ill tag it with that #im scheduling this out on the 11th ive just finished queuing ch333 #but ueueue i started this blog as a freshman in college and i graduate in may #ive changed hyperfixations half a dozen times and i stopped keeping up with #the weekly releases for one piece in like august 2020 #wano was just getting too convoluted for me #but one piece was what i hyperfixated on at the start of the first lockdown #so it will always have a special place in my heart #also hopefully by the time this posts ill have my new car #and this blog will have been with me through 4 phones (technically) and 2 cars #and 3 different dorms/apartments #i dont know what im doing post graduation tbh i just applied for a job as a #patient representative at a clinic in my home town which will get me on my feet in the #professional world but i could do just about anything #everyone wants an anthropologist but nobody wants to admit it #im also bilingual which is also a useful skill. but if anyone says they know what theyre doing #especially when theyre my age (22) they are lying #we're all kinda groping around blindly hoping to find something that sticks #anyway ive rambled enough! dkshsjkssj if you read all this.... thank you?#idk this blog means a lot to me ive been keeping it up through a lot of rough patches #its like. one of the constants in my life idk.#anyway. i need to do dishes and make lunch byeeeeeee #i never tagged this with housekeeping.#housekeeping

Finally returning home from the war(being abroad for a month+) today. I am *not* excited for the transit journey I'm about to have to endure. It's funny tho cause all I can think about is just "man I wanna go home and redecorate"(I bought a billion posters)

why is every album an artist releases these days 'their best one yet!' like I'm sorry this cannot be possible please reevaluate their discography and see me after class

#I PROMISE YOU this is not just about certain super mega popular pop stars who have released albums recently #however... these albums seem to have been released and are seeing... from what I can gather online... mixed results even from Fans #and my very own fave current day band just released an album of THEIR own earlier this month and the general reviews were 'best one ever!'#I listened to it... it's good. it's fine. it's a little bit of a departure from their usual style and that's fine. but it was by no means #their best album. even their LAST album was better and IT wasn't my fave either....#but I definitely felt like it was better than this new album. I was so 🤷‍♀️with their new album I haven't even put it on the thumb drive #for my car yet which.... says a lot. usually their stuff IMMEDIATELY goes on the car thumb drive. IMMEDIATELY. this one... ehh #I'm not losing out not hearing it in the car rn...#I just feel like there is no real critiquing of music anymore I guess IDK....#but I cannot stress enough this is NOT just about two popular popstars lol I don't even listen to their stuff I just see #things online and I'm like hmmmm.... every artist cannot possibly be releasing their BEST ALBUM YET every time #erin explains it all

this is a very venty post don't mind me :D

that nintendo direct was so horrible.

it was literally like 80 percent remakes and remasters.

never in my life have i seen an announcement video exist just to say "every game you've ever known since the 90s is being remade/remastered, sorry, we ran out of originality".

literally like all the video game market is anymore is remakes and the movie industry is just as bad.

the nso releases are fine because they're not like, remakes taking up full game slots. they're old games that are being made accessible and that's great... but there's no need to remake this many games when they can do that. remakes used to be rare. remember stuff like the wii u shop and stuff? with all the games they had on those things? now it's a tiny selection and everything else is a remake :/

also I feel like a lot of new rpgs are just like... lowkey fe knockoffs now instead of original rpgs.

i'm happy for like... two existing remakes, but one of them is mario rpg which people wanted waaaaAAAAAYYYY before the remake and remaster era, and the other is baten kaitos which im not actually happy about remaster-wise (the updated ui is trash, they took out very specific charms of the original ui), just happy that it will get more recognition/notice from people since it was never popular.

they also completely removed the english voice acting which like okay yeah it wasn't always that great but the voices fit perfectly and it wasn't as bad as fans meme on it for! it just sounded like they were talking through a tube and that was actually the worst part of it lol.

someone suggested to me that they may have just lost the data for it, but idk. i wish they'd just admit that somehow if it was the case, because it bugs me that the english audio is just completely gone when ultimately i really liked it. i wanted the game to be accessible to newer players, sure, but i also wanted the english audio there. ig that's because i grew up with it and i liked it, but it's still such a bummer for me!

paper mario being put on the nso and tyd getting a whole remaster does make me sad tho bc it feels like they're leaving the original in the dust when it was so good. if you're gonna do tyd, at least do them both.

good for innersloth though, i'm sure they never imagined being on a nintendo direct. they're the real winners here.

#DCB Comments #the FE fandom is just as bad too. every single solitary direct that comes up they're like #OMG FE4 REMAKE. like ??? I used to be just annoyed but #now I'm just feeling the “shut the actual fuck up” mood bc it's ALL they care about for FE anymore #nobody wants new FE games. they're just obsessed with the idea of remakes #it's more annoying bc it's all the majority of the FE fandom talks abt anymore #also does anyone even know if games on the NSO ever get a remake or if originals of remakes go onto NSO?#wondering bc I don't think I've seen a game on NSO get a remake or vice versa #like I was always wondering if Mario RPG would be on the NSO but it never was and now it has a remake coming #since FE4 6 and 7 are on the NSO I can't see why they would be if remakes were coming #also if they're in the process of making a new console do y'all still think they'll release Gamecube on the NSO?#idk if they'd release PoR on it since they'd prob remaster that one (I don't want a remake for it but remaster might be nice if they #update the map graphics and stuff) since it would net them way more money to release the game as a standalone but if they #did put it on NSO I'd really love that. so funny how i lose ALL my interest on a band after they release a new-shit-album 😀 example

Green day: obsessed over one year and foamf came out and i didn’t gaf abt them anymore

Arctic monkeys: obsessed over two years and the car came out and i don’t really think about them anymore

Muse: obsessed over one year and holy shit i dont even remember the albums name cuz it was so bad and i don’t really care much about them too

And before you say : maybe you don’t like the change in the music and you don’t like change in general

Fob released mania which everyone HATED on but i absolutely adored it from the minute it came out and i still love it and i absolutely loved stardust too i forgot the complete name but. Idk now thinking about it i was never obsessed with fob it was always a normal level of liking but the other three were such obsessions i couldn’t compelte a day without listening to atleast 3 albums and i genuinely couldn’t shut up about them whether irl or online… maybe my obsession ruined them for me…ouch
