I am asking this to take my mind off of the update because the anticipation is killing me
where do you get your art inspo from? As in the art style :3
yk this is kind of a question i've been dreading! because a lot of people can answer definitively - they'll give names, urls, blogs.
but uh.. I really don't know? I mean there were some deviantart blogs in elementary/middle school that inspired me then, but since? I couldn't say! My style has evolved from me doing my own thing, I suppose. I'd take little bits from other people's tutorials/advice and then stitch it into my own Frankenstein's Style.
hello. dungeon meshi anime very soon. not sure when for netflix (and Totally Legal Alternative Sites) but definitely after 10:30pm jst (8:30am est) because thats when it airs in japan. for now here is a thing depicting the party in kind of dragon quest style sprites from the side of some stairs in akihabara to promote the pop up shop there right now. i thought it was cute.
I was looking at some of your amulet art and I’m wondering - do you have a shop where you sell like prints? Bc your art is so pretty and I’d love to have something amulet so ngl I’d buy it in a heartbeat!
AAAAAH I'm so sorry to disappoint, but I don't have a shop 🥹🥹 it's a big dream of mine to sell prints, even acrylics of Amulet characters one day, but I simply don't have the money, YET. Maybe miraculously I will, maybe through commissions (but ngl, that road feels bleak right now...). I'm so happy to see interest though! 😭 it means so much to me that people like my stuff 🥹 god bless you anon
god i remember when i got into tf2 and watched the "how it feels to play" videos, i was really bummed about it thinking "god i hope the medic video comes out before im done with this hyper fixation"
1 year and a half later the video still isn't out yet, but im not worried about loosing interest anymore. this game has changed my life <3
hehe i saw this bingo by @maddsgram and immediately wanted to fill it out!
i marked out so many boxes but i don't think mahiru and i are that similar? atleast it's for very shallow things like being an airhead, self-image insecurities, and loving your partner. in terms of personality i'd probably be assigned the more rougher prisoners probably...!
You guys rlly don't realise how much knowledge is still not committed to the internet. I find books all the time with stuff that is impossible to find through a search engine- most people do not put their magnum opus research online for free and the more niche a skill is the less likely you are to have people who will leak those books online. (Nevermind all the books written prior to the internet that have knowledge that is not considered "relevant" enough to digitise).
Whenever people say that we r growing up with all the world's knowledge at our fingertips...it's not necessarily true. Is the amount of knowledge online potentially infinite? Yes. Is it all knowledge? No. You will be surprised at the niche things you can discover at a local archive or library.
coffee shop by my house hired a new barista who is extraordinarily hot and flirts with me incessantly but she also makes the worst - and i truly mean the worst - coffee i’ve ever paid for. atrociously bad. just another of god’s little jokes
Keep seeing that post where OP starts like 'Thinking about...grieving the undead' and then adds on about like. Real life situations where people have not died but have left your life and you would have reason to grieve them.
All respect, that's an important concept, but that is not what I am thinking about when I read 'grieving the undead'.
i say i like tragedies and everyone’s all like ‘why do you like sad stories? are you depressed?’ and never ‘how was the catharsis? was the catharsis fun?’
