Prompt: “Imagine Team Free Will worrying about you since you’ve been avoiding them, but it turns out you’ve just been studying like crazy since you want to get on an online course about art and no one knew that you were into that sort of thing and you were embarrassed to tell them” from @teamfreewillimagines

“I’m going out!” you call over your shoulder as you head up the stairs to the entrance to the Bunker.

“Stay safe,” Sam responds without looking up from his book.

You shut the big door behind you and climb into your own baby, a 1967 Pontiac GTO in her original dark purple glory. The engine roars to life and you’re off.

Today’s location isn’t too far from the bunker. You pull your bag of supplies from the trunk and get to work.

“Where’s Y/N?” Dean asks, coming out of the kitchen with a pair of beers. He passes one to Sam.

“Dunno. She said she was going out. She’s a grown woman, Dean. She can handle herself.”

“I know. I was just wondering. She’s been gone, or busy, a lot lately. Kinda feels like she’s up to something, doesn’t it?”

“I think you’re just paranoid. Whatever it is, she’ll tell us when she’s ready.”

“Yeah, I guess she will,” Dean admits, albeit reluctantly.

“If you really want to know, just ask her.”

“Ask who?” Cas says, appearing beside Sam.

“Y/N,” Dean answers. “She’s been acting kind of weird these last few weeks. Going places without telling us where and keeping to her room a lot more.”

“So?”

“I think she’s hiding something from us,” Dean explains. “And I’m going to find out what.”

When you get back to the Bunker, Dean is waiting in the control room.

“Hi, Dean,” you say, coming down the stairs with your bag slung over your shoulder.

“Where’d you go?” he asks, leaning casually against the table.

“Out,” you say, already headed for your room. Why’s he being so weird?”

“What’s in the bag?”

“Stuff, Dean. Why are you asking so many questions?”

“Because you’re keeping something from us,” he says. “Now, what’s in the bag?”

“None of your business,” you snap, suddenly defensive.

He grabs for it, but you jerk away and take off down the hall. You push past Sam, who looks startled, and slam your bedroom door behind you. You quickly lock it.

“Dean, what did you do?” Sam says, entering the control room.

“I might’ve tried to take her bag,” the older Winchester admits.

Sam gives him a disappointed look. “Really? What are you, two? Why couldn’t you just ask her?”

“I did! She wouldn’t tell me.”

“I’m sure trying to take her bag has really helped things along.”

“I’m sorry, okay? I shouldn’t have tried to take it.”

“I’m not the one you should be apologizing to, Dean.”

A soft knock at your door startles you from what you’re doing. You quickly shut the laptop.

“Who is it?” you call.

“It’s Sam,” the younger Winchester calls back.

You get up and unlock the door. Sam is standing on the other side with his hands in his pockets.

“What’s up?” you ask, leaning against the doorframe to keep him from entering.

“I’m sorry about Dean,” Sam says. “I’ve already talked to him about what he did. But he had good intentions, Y/N. We’re just worried about you. You’ve been distant lately.”

“I’ve just had a lot on my mind. What’s the point? It doesn’t really concern you guys.”

“I know. It’s your business. But we’re your friend and we’re worried. What kind of friends are we if you can’t come to us when there’s something on your mind?”

He has a point, you have to admit. You should be able to trust the brothers and Castiel with this. “I’m just worried you’ll laugh at me for it.”

Sam looks almost offended that you would think so little of him. “I would never. Dean might, but me and Cas?”

“I know,” you sigh. “Look, I’ll tell you guys at dinner. Fair?”

He nods. “I’ll send Dean down to apologize for himself.”

“Okay.”

Dean does come down to apologize in person. He even makes your favorite- white chicken fettuccini Alfredo, and French bread with garlic and butter. You’re still nervous when you sit down for dinner, though.

“You don’t have to tell us if you don’t want to,” Cas assures you.

“You guys deserve to know,” you reply. “I’ve been so distant lately because I’ve been compiling my portfolio.”

“What kind of portfolio?” Sam asks, mop up some Alfredo with his bread.

“A digital photography portfolio,” you explain. “I’m applying for an online college course on digital photography. That’s why I’ve been spending so much time away from the Bunker and locked up in my room.”

“College, huh?” Dean says. “Looks like Sammy’s not the special one anymore. That’s really cool, Y/N. I don’t understand why you didn’t just tell us, but I’m still proud of you.”

“I didn’t know you liked photography,” Sam admits. “I’m guessing your bag has your camera and stuff?”

You nod. “I prefer nature photography, though I have worked with people, as well.”

“I would like to see some of your work,” Cas says.

“You guys really don’t think it’s lame or anything?” you say sheepishly.

“Not at all,” Sam says, Dean and Cas nodding in agreement. “It’s your life, Y/N. we’ll fully support you in this.”

You smile, feeling much better. “Thanks.”

WASHINGTON | Family with Trump-like ambition runs hotel hosting summit

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Singapore coastal hotel where President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un plan to meet on Tuesday is overseen by a wealthy Singapore family whose real estate development firm is pushing into the competitive upscale resort realm where Trump’s own company operates.

The 112-room Capella Singapore, which juts out of a lushly landscaped island in Singapore’s harbor, is owned by the city’s Kwee family, according to Singapore media. Their Pontiac Land Group company has been building a network of lavish hotels across Asia and the Singapore firm has even intruded on the Trump Organization’s New York base, building a 72-story condominium and museum gallery project in midtown Manhattan.

The hotel on Sentosa Island, said to be a pirate haunt and later a 19th-century base for colonial British artillery officers, was purchased last fall by the Kwee family, a billionaire quartet of four brothers, according to the media accounts. Forbes has estimated the family’s holdings at $5.5 billion and their budding hotel empire has ties to the Ritz-Carlton chain, a rival to the Trump Organization for the affection of wealthy and business travelers.

Both the hotel and the Kwee’s firm did not confirm the reports of the family’s involvement in the hotel. A hotel spokeswoman said she could not “disclose details related to this event” and the real estate firm did not reply to a request for comment from The Associated Press.

But the hotel was among nine properties that the Kwees were said to have bought late last year from their former partner, Ritz-Carlton veteran Horst Schulze, who is still listed as “chairman emeritus” on the group’s website. The group’s board of directors include Evan Kwee, son of Pontiac Land Group Chairman Kwee Liong Tek, and Ng Chee Yuen, founder of Shenning Investments Pte. Ltd., the Kwee family’s real estate investment firm.

There are no Trump resorts in Singapore, but the Trump Organization has licensed the Trump name for real estate projects in the Philippines and India and is planning two Trump-branded resorts in Indonesia.

Just days before Trump was heading into difficult trade talks with China last month, Trump’s Indonesia partner announced it had hired a Chinese state-owned company to construct a theme park on the property featuring one of the president’s resorts, which ethics experts said could help his business there and unduly influence him.

In addition to their Asian holdings, the Kwees’ Pontiac Land Group is gambling on a signature skyscraper that is being built on West 53rd Street in New York, abutting the Museum of Modern Art. Partnering with the Houston-based Hines real estate firm, Pontiac Land Group secured $860 million in financing from a trio of southeast Asian banks to buy the 18,000-square-foot site, previously owned by Hines and Goldman Sachs.

20 and a Marine but auto insurance companie's want to charge me 500$ a month??? HELP?

I just got my license a couple months back i am in the marines and joined when i was 17 and in california it cost 350$ to get your license before you are 18 and i could not afford it. i am a very busy guy and it took time before i could get it. i make 600 every 2 weeks and i am about to get a car i am stationed at camp lejeune NC. for the auto loan i will be paying about 350 to 400 a month. its not that bad i am paying 5 % interest on the loan for 11,500 not that bad for not having any credit. but the insurance companies want to charge me anywhere from 450 to 700 a month i have only looked at a couple companies but it takes forever to fill out the info and some of them do not read my address because i am on a military base so i have to call them and you all no how that goes. so my question is what is a auto insurance companie that will be cheap. i have to get full coverage because of the loan. please only serious answerer's and from personal experience. sorry if i spelled things wrong i am not in a prestige college i am a Marine. but think you for your help and have a great day.""

We have a witness and CCTV of what happened. When we called the insurance company (MORE THAN) they asked what happened and my son told them. They then said they will be in touch. That night we had to go to hospital as he is really has back, neck and wrist pains. It has not been 27 days since the crash and since then we have found out that we have been investigated for fraud has they are saying we lied about the amount of car in our house hold. My partner has 1 work van, 1 car that is on a classic insurance, and then I have 2 cars. When taking out the new insurance policy for my Peugeot I only said I have 1 car and that was the ford fester which I did, however is I was doing a new policy for me in my name I didt know I had tell them about other cars that my partner has. Now they are saying the under writer have sent u a letter saying if you pat 550 we will add the other card onto the policy and also change the name over to your sons name and u can say he is the main user. HE ANY THE MAIN USER 3 DAYS A WEEK HE USES IT THEN I USE IT THE REST. So they are kinds of bribing me? I own the car and brought it with my money and on the car registration document it says my name So if I say ok I will pay u the 550 the car does not belong to my son Cox it dont say his name of it.""
