Modern AU

Indra Otsutsuki

💜The bitter CEO of his own business line after his father gave the position of the family business over to his younger brother despite Indra being the older and more experienced one. The reason why was because Indra has always been overly focused on profit, is way too strict with people working for him and almost ruthless with even clients if they can't pay something back. He never gives in to pleads, differently from his foolish young brother but somehow that friendly and caring attitude is what Hagoromo wants for the business. Indra swore to himself after this humiliation that he'll give the company of his brother hell which he has been doing up til this day. His brother does not wish for such a financial battle, Indra thinks differently and constantly attempts to snatch clients and business partners away from his brother.

💜He's rich and handsome and since he has with his company a promising future, young and old want to work for him. The problem is that Indra is the borderline of a slavedriver, a very harsh one as well. He only accepts those he believes to be fitting, doesn't tolerate mistakes and it isn't uncommon for him to fire someone if they didn't fulfill his expectations once. Absolutely despises admirers, those who confess to him leave with a searing and painful scolding from him and a broken heart. He throws gifts away or gives them to someone else since he doesn't see the need to keep them and romance is not something he is interested in. Indra is consumed by his wish for revenge, works tirelessly to ruin his brother's business and days where his brother manages to snatch a good partner or task away from him are the worst days since he is especially rude and short-tempered.

💜When you catch his eye, either because you’re very talented or actually talked back to him once, he pays more attention to you. Indra is willing to be more around you because he sees something in you. He watches over your workplace more though his eyes constantly dart to you and he passes by your place awfully often, actually attempts to apologize if he let his frustration out at you and gives you more important work which automatically means that you’ll have to work closer with him. His interest becomes obvious at one point when flowers start to appear on your desk and your paycheck suddenly becomes thrice the amount than everyone else. When he eventually asks you to work as his secretary with the promise of paying you even better, you hesitantly accept, unsure how this will work out with his growing interest.

💜You soon learn to regret that decision the more possessive this man grows. Suddenly you work only with him privately in his office and he becomes furious when he witnesses someone flirting with you or you showing interest in someone working for him, most definitely ending with him firing that person or treating them poorly. At one point everyone in the office is afraid to interact with you since Indra finds out over the cameras installed in the building. Even your private life is monopolized since he drags you along on business trips and even wants you to stay in his house so you two can work more effectively together. He doesn’t let you leave his side at all, intimidates every person near you and you take notice of the way he looks at you or the way his touches start to linger more and pull you closer to him.

💜It is inevitable that you eventually tell him about his rather unhealthy behavior and the fact that both of you aren't even together. You notice by the way his brows furrow that he doesn't like the way this conversation is going. What he doesn't tell you is that he knows about his attitude but couldn't care less about it. You are already his and he won't let you leave. Initially he apologizes, offers to make it up to you by paying you more yet money isn't your issue right now. You just want the rumors to stop, people are getting the wrong idea and he seems to be fine with that. It's rather unprofessional. That is when Indra suddenly crooks his head, observes you quietly before he suddenly walks closer to you, close enough for your bodies to touch before he mumbles the question. Do you want to be his s/o? Something in his voice and gaze tells you that he won't leave you much of a choice.

Madara Uchiha

🌑His family has been owning a worldwide known company for years now which has been passed down since generations. Madara as the next heir in line took over the company after his father retired, his younger brother Izuna is his closest advisor in this business, the young man doesn’t tend to listen very carefully to what the eldest of his clan have to say. They’re family so he respects them but they’re also incredibly boring. He’s CEO of the company in a time where a lot changes for his company since after years of rivalry with the Senju business, both companies have finally started a partnership. Something only possible because the CEO from the Senju, Hashirama, has been a friend of Madara since childhood. Hashi’s determination and Madara’s stubbornness against the eldest ended years of fights and rivalries.

🌑Business thrives after both of them start working together, even if either the Senju nor the Uchiha really want to admit it out loud. No worries though, Madara teases them enough for it. During business meetings he tends to bonk heads with Hashirama’s little brother since both don’t get along very well. They constantly try to outsmart and provoke each other, Hashirama is left to soothe both sides. He’s sort of strict and has high expectations for the people he hires, it isn’t easy to impress him. People fear and love him simultaneously, something that amuses him. He bathed a little bit in the admiration he’s showered in, hesitates not to shoot someone rudely down if they turn out to be too persistent and full of themselves. His clan has tried already to set him up, he’s rejected every single candidate so far though.

🌑His sudden interest in you torments you a bit because he loves riling you up a bit, both of you constantly butt each other's head and the man seems to enjoy it a lot more than you. God knows what he wants from you because he is obviously the one picking the fight yet your co-workers always scold you because they don't have the courage to talk bad about Madara. He's intimidating all of them yet you are able to ignore that if something makes you snap and to be fair, Madara enjoys that. It's rare to have someone talking back to him, exceptions are his own clan and the Senju clan. You on the other hand are refreshing and whilst you aren't the most talented person you seem to at least be bold enough to bristle up against him whenever he scares a newbie. He isn't really ashamed to admit to his brother that he sometimes digs up information about you or uses cameras in the building to his advantage.

🌑A small change happens where he seems to be in a better mood and to his horror and surprise Hashirama discovers what is going on and encourages his friend to bring you over, to fight for your heart. He never talks with his friend about it though because he knows what he'll have to endure. Sadly the Senju man is sneakier than expected and so one evening after a couple of bottles Madara opens his heart a bit and talks about feisty you and regrets it forever afterwards. Tobirama especially seems to torture him with it and Madara found himself only that much away from punching him in the face. His admiration doesn't stay hidden for long because soon he really starts courting you. Bouquets of flowers thrice the size of the average, a sudden involvement in his own work, champagne and wine as a reward for your hard work and an invitation from Hashirama to join a friendly meeting.

🌑He is possessive and becomes dangerously touchy with you over time, especially when he is feeling possessive or jealous. When you talk with a very friendly co-worker in which case you suddenly feel an arm being swung around your shoulders with Madara giving the other person a very scary smirk. He takes you often out with him and everyone knows that he sees such activities as dates. He eventually confesses his feelings after a while, something you have been expecting for a while now. When you finally receive and invitation to a family dinner with his clan, everyone knows that he is serious. The man himself is a bit concerned that the eldest will hector you or not accept you, he is rather protective during the entire evening. Izuna is a sweetheart to you though. Once you are in a relationship, you won't get out and you'll find the word marriage coming up frighteningly often. He just seems to ignore your feelings about his behavior.

Hashirama Senju

🌳Some business people may wonder how the heck someone as goofy as Hashirama manages to hold together such a huge branch yet he is more shrewd and analytic than many might notice at first glance. He is incredibly convincing, it's just something about his personality that manages to make him so likeable and he also has a reputation for being very loyal and caring. A man who stands for his word. That is why he even managed to finally break the ice between the Uchiha and Senju company and tied both of them with the help of Madara, CEO of the Uchiha company, together. He throws a big party after he achieved that goal of his and works together with Madara and Izuna and his own brother eagerly together to draw out the best of the new partnership. It works as well, both companies prosper under the new contract.

🌳If it wouldn't be for the light hostility between his brother and Madara, things would be ideal but Hashi is determined to make those two buddies as well. He always gets horrified faces from the two when he tells them about this plan, at least both seem to agree that Hashi is definitely living in a dream world if he seriously expects those two to get along. His brother is his closest advisor, sometimes even takes over the position if he sees it as needed. Otherwise he just drags Hashirama to his office and makes sure that he works. He is a CEO who wants to be socially active with his workers in order to get along with them and create a good environment to work with so it isn't uncommon for him to walk around and chat with them or give out a cup of coffee or sake on special days which he celebrates within the company.

🌳Something just seems to click instantly between him and his darling as soon as he welcomes them in his company, something he always does with new co-workers. You are a bit different because he feels like he just gets along especially well with you. When he sees you, he usually always takes a few minutes longer to talk more with you and finds himself opening up about things he normally wouldn't talk instantly about with someone. Hashirama finds himself admiring everything you do, notices every single thing about you and commits everything you tell him to memory. He feels excited to meet you and when you give him a smile, his heart seems to jump around in his chest. Soon he finds himself spacing out during work, his thoughts circling around you and he misses you even if you two are in the same company. His brother notices quickly that he has his head in the clouds.

🌳He likes you and that is obvious. Whilst he is friendly, he is extremely friendly with you, always reserves a smile for you even after a exhausting day and cares especially much about your health. If you have too much stress, he'll lift a bit of work from your shoulders and if he feels like you're worried about something, he is willing to help. It does not take long for him to ask you out for a date with an excited grin on his face and he is thrilled when you agree with a shy smile yourself. He is being extra though for a first date, mainly because he wants to impress you which is actually sort of sweet. His sudden request during the first date to be his partner might startle you because it might be a bit too sudden so when you reject and ask for more time, he feels like a kicked puppy. Somehow he manages to accept though even if he seems to be a bit more gloomy the following days.

🌳He doesn't give up easy and it is a bit more hard to see his darker side, mainly because he is so sweet and attentive. It is only after you finally agreed to be in a relationship that you slowly see what is wrong. Hashirama is clingy and overly affectionate, he can barely leave you by yourself most of the time. The biggest flag for you is his sudden talk about marriage and, if you can bear kids, children as well. Barely a month after you two are together he already fantasizes about those things and tells you about it. As soon as he introduces you to his clan you realize that they aren't really different with the whole aspect of marriage and it makes you a bit uncomfortable. So when you tell him that you feel like he wants to progress too fast, chances are that you'll figure out how delusional he really is. The short time you've known each other feels already like eternity for him and in his eyes you two are soulmates and share something special.

Tobirama Senju

🌊Whilst Hashirama is the main head of the clan and the one who took over the company, Tobirama has just as much influence and control. He’s literally the unofficial CEO next to his brother, more than just an advisor and his second hand. He goes through the paperwork as well, meets the clients and discusses contracts with them. Sometimes it is even him sitting in the office instead of Hashirama when that man is currently somewhere else. He’s the one who grabs his brother by the collar and reminds him that he has work to do and he’ll stay the whole time in the office if that is what it takes to have Hashi finish his work. Tobirama, still respectful, doesn’t coddle the co-workers quite as much though, he is stricter, expects everyone to do their best in their job and isn’t afraid to give someone a sturdy scolding.

🌊He has had some unfortunate meetings with someone from the Uchiha clan so he isn’t exactly thrilled when his brother suddenly plans to start a partnership with them. Tobirama doesn’t trust them if he has to be completely honest yet he accepts Hashirama’s wish after a while and works to fulfill that dream. With gritted teeth that is. Madara and him still don’t get along and he’d rather smash his head against a wall than endure that guy or be alone in the same room as him since Madara makes him lose his temper quickly. He’s popular under the co-workers, doesn’t accept presents and confessions as humbly as his brother who goes out of his way to thank a person. Most of the time he just sends the presents back. He’s more focused on work and if a person is rather persistent and overly confident, he tends to be more harsh with his choice of words.

🌊Originally you were just supposed to be a secretary for his brother yet he also gets to know you due to working as the second CEO for the company. And let’s just say that he admires what he sees. You’re hardworking, patient, polite, smart and aren’t afraid to point out wrong behavior or to give your honest opinion. He’s flustered the first time you suddenly kick him out of the office late at night by telling him that he should get rest and that you can’t leave if he doesn’t leave first. In a way you are a mix of him and his brother. You want people to finish the work they’re suppose to do yet also know how important it is to relax and interact with people for a good relationship. He dreads and admires this about you at the same time, isn’t sure how to feel when you scold him though for working too much. His brother has the time of his life watching this though.

🌊He notices his obsession quickly and initially distances himself from you, unsure how to feel about this. He feels ashamed and humiliated simultaneously and it isn’t good for his own ego yet he knows he can’t avoid the company forever. He has work to do and after a while he feels his defenses also crumbling down because he hasn’t seen you for a while. When he returns, he apologizes for his absence and starts working with you again. He is determined to overcome this and hide his feelings yet you worm your way into his heart. You two just work so well together that by now you know what he needs without him even having to say anything and it flatters and flusters Tobirama. He finds his indifferent facade crumbling as he mellows out. His gaze lingers now longer on you, he uses a softer tone when speaking with you and gives you compliments for your excellent work.

🌊He confesses one day privately in his house after he’s invited you over. He has been fighting to confess for a longer time now since he feels like you two are very close by now and also because it becomes harder to hide his growing possessive behavior. Relieved when you decide to give this a chance. Hashi jokes afterwards that he stole his secretary because Tobirama makes your schedule his own, you two work closely together. More open to stare someone down if they flirt with you. He tries to keep the relationship under the co-workers professional, behind closed doors he’s a bit more affectionate. Invites you over to meet his family and actually a bit jittery about what you feel think about each other. He’s quite controlling though and has moments where his possessive nature shines through. He is inwardly startled, stays calm though and tries to talk to you and tell you that you’re exaggerating a bit. Please don’t make things complicated, he doesn’t want you to hate him.

Tsunade Senju

🐌Her family name is already quite known in Japan as the famous Senju company. Tsunade managed to make a name for herself though by becoming one of the most skilled doctors and surgeons in the world. She is a leading medic who has worked on countless medicines and antidotes and even difficult operations are mastered with her hands. She has her own hospital, famous across all of the country and even overseas. Everyone who wants to study medicine and work as a doctor or surgeon aims to work for Tsunade but only the most skilled ones who have good social skills are accepted. Among the entire stuff in the hospital Tsunade has only two people she really trusts, who she even took under her wings and taught them more than they could just learn in books. Those people are Shizune and Sakura, both women dubbed to be geniuses among their peers.

🐌Tsunade can be very hothead and stern with her staff since they are responsible for the lives of others but is also very kind and nice to everyone. She has very few days off from her work which she normally likes to spend with a few glasses of sake. A surprisingly high alcohol tolerance, on anniversaries and parties among the entire co-workers she’s managed to beat everyone in that area. The woman tries to cool her alcohol consumption down though since she knows that it isn’t for the long run good for her liver and doesn’t want to give a bad example. Also, when she is tipsy she starts to fall back into old habits like gambling. It might not be obvious at first glance but Tsunade is really strong and experienced with fight sports. Strong enough to win against someone a head or two taller than her who causes troubles.

🐌When you land into the hospital after an accident and have to go through a surgery, it is Tsunade who has you in her schedule and she is as diligent and focused as ever. Hours later you come back to your senses with another doctor telling you that the surgery went without complications and that you should be as good as new with the right treatment. Tsunade herself comes to visit you later on as well since she always looks out for you and you thank her dearly for her help. She’s determined to help you to be as fine as before the accident, goes with you over the plan she came up with with the help of her assistants. Throughout the talk she finds out that you’re actually studying medicine yourself and hope to work for her one day which makes this all a bit awkward for you. The first meeting with her isn’t quite what you expected since she is your idol.

🐌You are her patient so you come back a couple of times for checkups and you two end up talking about the anatomy of the body and everything centered about surgeries and a hospital. You try to impress her with your knowledge and she corrects you or adds something. You ask her questions and she answers them in full length. You’re intent, hang on every word she says and all the attention you give her flusters her a bit though she weirdly starts to enjoy it at one point. Eventually you’ve fully recovered from the accident yet are also under stress because you’ve missed important lessons you would have needed in order to finish the semester. Tsunade suddenly offers to repeat everything you missed with you. It’s not only because she feels sympathy for you but somehow doesn’t want to let you go and not see you again for a while.

🐌At one point romantic feelings start to blossom inside of her chest and with that awareness she becomes rather clingy and also occasionally bashful around you. Sakura and Shizune notice her shift in mood, the way she sometimes twirls her pencil or a strand of her hair in her fingers with a dreamy look in her face and encourage and mildly tease her. Tsunade confesses her feelings one day after a cup or two of sake and whether the alcohol is responsible for the flush of pink on her face or your happy acceptance is unknown. She’s a bit paranoid since she’s seen people die in her field of work and grows clingy, possessive and protective. Maybe it is also because you find out at one point that she lost her previous boyfriend due to an accident before yet you feel that she’s a bit too overbearing. She changes the topic every time, nervous and afraid that you’ll leave her. She isn’t afraid to resort to guilt-tripping if it is needed.

Kakashi Hatake

📖Some of his colleagues still wonder why Kakashi decided to follow the path of a teacher from all jobs. He doesn’t lack intelligence and knows when to discipline a student in Junior Highschool yet also seems most of the time a bit bored. You can’t call him exactly the most passionate teacher you’ll ever meet, he almost awakes the impression of being a bit lazy. It actually happens from time to time that he comes a few minutes too late with excuses that aren’t all that believable. Under the kids he is still a favorite since his laidback and chill attitude allows him to be more forgiving and less strict when it comes to the lessons. A bit of a loner, it’s rare to see him hanging around with other co-workers that often. He has his circle of friends, all people he’s known since elementary school though. But not all have followed the same path as him or just teach in different schools. He still gets along quite well with a teacher called Yamato.

📖His two best friends are Rin and Obito, the three of them were almost always inseparable since elementary school even if Obito and him had back then often little brawls. They still have those quarrels til this day sometimes. He’s a dog lover and has had more than a handful of dogs during his life. His current dog is named Pakkun and in the evening he always goes on a long jog together with him. He actually has another friend of sorts who he met in a gym, a overly enthusiastic guy named Guy who owns the place. The weird man seems to view Kakashi as a worthy competition for him since Kakashi has heard the rumors of him constantly searching someone with whom he can train together. Kakashi sort of enjoys the constant challenges though, his friends live further away from him after all and being with Guy helps him not winding up as a complete outsider. What only his closest friends know is that his dad committed suicide when he was still a child.

📖Kakashi ends up meeting his darling one day at the park whilst he takes a walk with Pakkun. His dog somehow ends up barking at you who did absolutely nothing, something Kakashi scolds him for out of a small spark of embarrassment. He apologizes for the small scare jump his dog gave you and you just laugh a bit and brush it off. You two end up having a small talk with each other, walking together since you happen to head into the same direction he is going. Kakashi keeps his dog on a short leash just in case, he even keeps throwing glares at Pakkun to warn him not to do something stupid in front of you again. You two say goodbye to each other when you have to go separate ways and whilst you were certainly pleasant, Kakashi doesn’t expect to meet you anytime soon. Until he finds out that you’re the neighbor of one of his students and almost like an aunt for them.

📖Bumping into you after that is something that just happens since you sometimes pick up the kid or he sees you in the park. Both of you wind up talking to each other often, especially after you two discovered that you’re going to meet more often anyways. He likes you a lot, there aren’t many people he feels comfortable enough to stay longer around. Even his grumpy dog seems to take a liking towards you after a while. There are only that many people that can pet Pakkun without him biting. When he invites you over for the first time in his house, Pakkun behaves weirdly much which normally never happens. Sometimes Kakashi gets the feeling that his dog knows about his activities. Obito teases him relentlessly and Rin and Guy ship it when he tells them about you. Kakashi, whilst not against the idea of dating by now, finds himself hesitating since he’s from a very early point on aware of his own feelings.

📖He sometimes follows you, without Pakkun, just to see that you arrive home. Kakashi argues a lot with his consciousness whether or not to ask you out even if it ends up being obvious enough for Yamato and other teachers to notice. Eventually his possessive side wins over and one day he just asks you out on a date, hiding his shy side very well. Dresses up a lot when he picks you up and buys a large bouquet of your favorite flowers. Guy is enthusiastic when he hears the good news, wants Kakashi to bring you over. The same counts for Rin and Obito. Even the school knows soon after since the student told the class and news just spread from there on. He manages to endure the curious gazes or all the teasing quite well. He tries to downplay it immensely when you eventually talk to him about his possessive, passive-aggressive and protective behavior. Kakashi is good in manipulating others and makes you feel like you’re overreacting.

Obito Uchiha

🔥He’s been dubbed as an outsider in his own family since Obito has taken a very unlikely job for someone from the infamous Uchiha clan. Usually his clan takes higher positions yet this one guy here, as one of the first in the current Uchiha generation, has taken the path to become a teacher in an elementary school. Some suspect it’s because his best friend Kakashi has become a teacher himself or because his other best friend and previous childhood love Rin is a nurse at a hospital. Maybe it is partially true but the power positions his clan is expected to take never spoke to this Uchiha. He’s always been more goofy and lighthearted and even if he had potential to become someone big, the interest just wasn’t there. He’s happier now that he’s escaped the toxic environment of his clan and adores his job as a teacher.

🔥Initially he struggles a bit since his family kind of bans him for a while and some are iffy to let their children be taught by him, an Uchiha. He kind of gets discouraged by it, Kakashi and Rin are usually instantly on the phone or plan a meeting to cheer him up. The man is determined to get along with everyone though, even if many are still intimidated by him. So he just works even harder for approval and it isn’t long until the first children start to take a liking to him since he introduces a lot of fun to the class. Obito loves children so he is extremely protective and goes very easy on them. Eventually, after a lot of arguing between some of the other Uchiha members, he is being re-accepted into his clan. He isn’t exactly thrilled nor mad about it, Obito stays neutral about the whole thing. He’s a rebel, wants to prove that he can earn his own money and live his perfect life without the help of his clan and their influence.

🔥You work as a nurse and partially also a teacher on the elementary school and somehow Obito is just struck the first time he sees you. Your warm smile has his heart going dokey-dokey for a moment and his face heats up. You tend to remind him a lot of Rin, especially since both of you have chosen similar jobs and that brings back bittersweet memories of the time Rin rejected him and his love. Eventually he decides that he can’t dwell on the past though and it is rude how he constantly tries to avoid you at first. So he gathers the courage to apologize and make it up over a cup of tea. His words fail him though the moment you two lock eyes and incoherent sentences come out of his mouth. Through a miracle you manage to understand him and accept, making his heart flutter even more in his chest.

🔥This cup of tea and sweets is a amazing time for him and he hopes that you feel the same. He likes it in fact so much that he asks you soon again. He’s soon after inseparable from you and when one of his students ends up getting hurt, he always comes instantly to you since he knows that you’ll be able to help. If he happens to injure himself, he also comes to you. He’s sure it’s love at one point since he absolutely adores you. His obvious crush is something he gets teased over daily. His co-workers sometimes throw remarks his way and his students ask him often when you two are going to get married. It’s especially embarrassing if you are near him and hear it all. He knows that he wants you to be his partner though so he ends up practicing his confession. In front of a mirror, in front of his friends and in his head. He’s highly nervous, afraid you’ll reject him like Rin since you only see him as a friend as well. The first rejection stung already bad enough.

🔥He’s over the moon when you accept and even if he doesn’t outright tell anyone, everyone kind of knows why he’s in such a jovial mood all of a sudden. Kakashi and Rin find out as the first persons and both congratulate their friend for his achievement. Suddenly he’s glued even more to your side whenever he doesn’t have to teach his class and he has high troubles not showing too much PDA during work since it might be seen as inappropriate. As soon as work is over though he latches himself on you with his affection. Clingy and lightly paranoid over his s/o because he fears that he might not be good enough. Even if he’s gotten over his clan for the biggest part, sometimes their mocking and humiliation from the past due to his take on life still gets to him. If his darling hints that they find his behavior sometimes disturbing, he ends up guilt-tripping them with his past and the death of his parents when he was still a child. Dreams of marrying you and having a family with you.

Shisui Uchiha

🍂He’s always been a rather talented guy, even among his clan. If the public hears the name Shisui Uchiha, they usually instantly think of the policeman and detective that has been involved in a lot of difficult cases in this country. He’s shrewd and smart, some even say he has some sort of third eye since he can read people terrifyingly well. Shisui just knows from the subtle body language, eye contact and tone of the voice if someone is lying or not and connects loose dots quickly together. Originally he used to work under another Uchiha in the police but climbed the ranks quickly and created his own task force only a few years after. He has a very distinct sense for justice and has seen that even under police and the “good guys” corruption and evil doings are possible so he wants his task force to be different. That’s the reason why he’s known for being picky when recruiting people for his team.

🍂His clan is proud of him for what he achieved but is somewhat shocked when Shisui builds an independent task force. The reason for that is that Shisui isn’t exactly too fond of the way his clan tends to do things. He’s experienced the arrogance some of the members express even as police officers and whilst he doesn’t want to abandon his clan, he’d rather choose a slightly independent road. Shisui has some good friends among the Uchiha after all and holds his clan still very dear to his heart. He just wishes for some changes within the clan and works together with some other members on improvements. He was one of the Uchiha who voiced out his disagreement to completely drop Obito Uchiha and gets along well with him whenever he visits him. Shisui admires Obito since it is hard and takes guts to not fulfill the expectations of the Uchiha and follow one’s own dream.

🍂When you move in as his new neighbor, you’ve already heard quite a lot from your well-known neighbor Shisui Uchiha. You’re curious to see him for once but sadly you are busy with work and he as well so you don’t run in him the first week. It isn’t until one late evening where you finally meet him whilst trying to drag bags filled with groceries to your apartment. He offers to help you when he sees you struggle and you, flustered and surprised, obviously let him help. He isn’t what you expected him to be since he seems quite humble, gives you a amicable smile and apologizes even for not introducing himself sooner. You two are going to be neighbors from now on after all, he should have come around sooner. He hopes both of you will get along well. Occasionally you bump into him, it doesn’t happen often though since he’s really busy with work at times.

🍂He doesn’t expect you one day to suddenly knock on his door and bring him his favorite sweets. You’ve noticed his increased stress, just wanted to do something nice for him and tell him that if he needs help, he shouldn’t hesitate to call you. Shisui is weirdly touched, it isn’t everyday someone offers him help. His clan sort of expects him to be able to handle himself. He never tells it anyone except maybe Itachi, but sometimes he feels kind of lonely with the life he leads. His whole life wasn’t the one a average person leads so he wants to give it a try now with you by having a friendly relationship. You seem nice and sincere enough. What starts out as a careful attempt to test your friendliness soon turns into shared meals together on several days a week when he has the time. When he is with you, he feels like he is just a normal person and he loves that feeling a lot.

🍂You never notice anything, not even when he takes you one day out and confesses that he’s fallen in love with you. Throughout all dates and your eventual acceptance you never notice either. How could you when he is so charming and dotting at first? Shisui himself is uncomfortable with the position he’s in, with feelings crossing the borderline of obsession. Stalking you because you’re his neighbor, using tools like wires and cameras to hear and watch you sometimes even in your apartment, accompanying you sometimes and using his power to shoo away other people. He never wanted the situation escalate to this level, never wanted to manipulate you and use his skills to his advantage against you. The scariest thing is that he seems to accept it all so calmly though even if he feels guilty. It’s hard to see through him yet he notices your suspicion long before you voice it out and cools his behavior instantly down. He’s afraid of what he might do if you’d really try to leave him.

Itachi Uchiha

🍡Where exactly did it go wrong? This is a question many members of the Uchiha, including Fugaku, ask themselves when Itachi decides to leave the company and any power position. He’s a genius, much like Shisui. Finished school at a really young age and initially did join his father in the police apartment. Everyone had high hopes for him, his father thought that one day he’d probably take over his job as the head of the police apartment. Instead the unthinkable happened when Itachi one day declared he’d leave the clan, neglect any of their offered occupations for him and pursue his own dream. It was an Obito scenario all over again and especially since Itachi is such a talented man, this was a slap in the face for everyone. His father was indignant and tried to forcefully persuade him into staying, just like the rest of the clan. The only people who had his back and still do are Mikoto, Izumi, Shisui, Sasuke and Obito.

🍡He’s gotten tired of all the surface pressure, the greed for power from so many members of his clan. He longs for a peaceful life, a normal life. He opens his own tea and sweets shop a little bit more than a year after his departure from the police. He doesn’t care if his family thinks that he’s being silly, he enjoys the small and peaceful life. Obviously he serves Dango in that shop, he loves those to bits after all. Despite being the owner, he is often seen working with the staff as well and serving tea and sweets. He’s very aware that some customers just come to see an Uchiha, especially since they have a reputation for being handsome. That’s something to be expected though. He’s happy when his friends and the people who support him come and visit him. Whilst being technically out of business, his brother and Shisui sometimes seek him if they’re stuck in a tricky situation since Itachi is still as smart as ever.

🍡You’re one of his most loyal customers for multiple reasons. You enjoy the food and tea, the store isn’t that far away from your house and you love the peaceful atmosphere. Itachi is a nice surprise himself with his relaxed personality but isn’t the main reason. At one point you’re recognized by the whole staff and they joke a bit whenever you enter the shop, even Itachi joins in. He never disturbs you though, especially if you bring paper work with you. Sometimes he can’t really help but correct you when he sees something that isn’t correct, carefully that is. You’re more embarrassed than you’re mad. You just thank him for noticing before your higher-ups noticed. The interactions between him and you are small yet so daily that Itachi really starts to take a liking towards you. Until he asks you one day during another visit, feeling a bit bashful on the inside, if you’d be interested to go out on a date with him.

🍡After the first date follows another one and another one and not long after it becomes official that you two are dating. He’s sweet, he’s considerate and he always makes sure to prepare you your favorite tea and sweets even if they aren’t offered that day. His mother is overjoyed with the news, wants to meet you as soon as possible. So one day his friends and closest family gather in his store after he’s closed it earlier due to this private meeting. Even his father is there, still slightly mad at him and probably not all too happy when he meets you since you’re too average. He gets a cold and warning glare from Itachi before he can even say anything and Mikoto nudges him warningly in the side. Everyone else accepts you quickly. When his father searches for him later on and tells him that Itachi somehow gave off a weird vibe and acted the tiniest bit strange, it is only a millisecond where his son stops with his movements.

🍡He panics, is unsure if anyone else noticed something. His feelings haven’t always been this out of bounds for you. Initially he really just liked you the normal way. It is a very subtle process, small to say the least. His feelings continue to be tainted though. The look in his eyes just turn colder and more chilling whenever someone is friendly with you, he texts you very often whenever you aren’t with him, grows more and more touchy and wants to accompany you to your destination whenever he can. He frets a lot, humiliated and ashamed that he became obsessed with you. Worst is that you notice his weird behavior as well and one day talk with him about it. His poker face only crumbles shortly before he regains composure and does the worst thing, lying to you. You’re too important to let go, he fears that you’ll leave him if he’ll tell you the truth.

Sasuke Uchiha

💙Sasuke stays within the wished business of his family for him since his clan means a lot to him. He prides himself in being an Uchiha yet supports his brother in his decision to stray away. He himself takes a slightly different route than others who own a few branches of the big Uchiha company because he has a partnership with Naruto Uzumaki, one of his childhood friends. First the Senju, now the Uzumaki. They’re complete opposites yet somehow they manage to work together. Naruto even wanted Sakura to join them but she is busily working together with the Tsunade Senju, being a doctor has always been her dream. Sasuke knows that and that’s why he tells Naruto from a very early point on to give up since their pink-haired friend is stubborn and has a temper. Both are happy if Sakura visits their company every once in a while though and all three of them can catch up.

💙Usually one to make difficult decisions by himself or together with Naruto, Sasuke will come to his brother if he is in a bit of a peril since Itachi has always a valuable advice or plan in head. Naruto ends up dragging him always to the same goddamn ramen shop whenever both want to eat something outside. The first three times was acceptable, after the tenth time Sasuke started dreading the mere mention of ramen. Instead he flees to the store of his brother. He’s normally not that much into sweet stuff but his brother manages to make him something that he can enjoy. At this rate he’ll accept anything over ramen though. He even forbids Naruto to bring instant ramen into the office since he eats it in a worryingly amount. The whole office sometimes smells and to be frank, he asks Sakura how it is possible to eat so much ramen. He’s sure a doctor would hate his blond friend if they’d do a health check on him.

💙Originally you used to work for the Uzumaki company but both of the CEO have initiated a small exchange program where workers for each of their respected companies work in the other company for a few months. You’re a bit nervous in your new workplace, quickly take your place though and work as hard as before. Your initial fear of Sasuke disappears after a while since he differs from the rumors you’ve heard. He surely can be strict but rather than rude you notice that he’s more socially awkward which is why he sometimes ends up saying something rather impolite. Sasuke watches you a bit closer since Naruto chirps his praises about you all the time, says that you two would get along well. After he recognized your talent himself, he applied you to work as his assistant since you aren’t pushy or even remotely interested in flirting with him. It’s sometimes hard to find a person like you.

💙He finds himself being so much more productive with you around since you are such a fast thinker and just as fast when it comes to doing your work. He even sees what Naruto meant by telling him that after a while you’d be able to read his thoughts since you adapt soon to his way of thinking and have due to that a good idea about what he’s planning most of the time. Sasuke is weirdly disappointed when the exchange is over since he wants to keep you as his assistant so he asks Naruto if you can stay with him a bit longer. He’s successful in manipulating the blond in agreeing. The Uchiha likes you, a lot even. You’re pretty much everything he could want from someone and somehow the image of you working as Naruto’s assistant and being close to him doesn’t sit well with him. Even if Naruto is his best friend. He loves it much more when you work together with him. Only with him.

💙Sasuke turns possessive before he has even proceeded his emotions fully. He wants you constantly near him, can’t help but glare rudely whenever he sees you talking with someone else and wants you completely in his company. He asks you to transfer fully to him and also talks with Naruto about this. His friend tends to be too naive and trustworthy and even if he’s being an asshole by using it against him, he still does. Naruto sadly still seems to notice Sasuke’s keen interest in you and starts teasing him for it whenever both meet up. Even if you want to stay in Naruto’s company, Sasuke wins at the end. Your income is higher since Sasuke wants you to be completely comfortable with your new position. It had to be expected that you’d notice his feelings at one point, he becomes nearly unbearable whenever you’re with anyone who isn’t him. Don’t forget that Sasuke is in a power position though, he can force you into his arms if he desires so.

10) Obito has a crush on the cute librarian that is reader, but never made a move on them. One day, Obito is dragged into a strip club. Obito is whining about being there until their eyes lock on the best stripper in the club, who happens to be reader.

As a bonus, this is part 3 of my mafia AU.

If Obito wants to be part of the family business, he'll have to put in the effort. Or so says his rigid and structured uncle Madara.

Since his great-grandfather founded the company, Izuna and Madara had been the first to join the business, assisting Indra as his first two pawns. No one in the family knows what the business is about, not until you're finally a part of it. Everything is kept secret, and the only thing the younger Uchiha know is that whatever they do generates a lot of money.

Obito, as the next in line to become part of the corporation, hoped Izuna would spare some mercy. His two uncles had been forced by Indra to study a career in finance and international commerce before they could be part of the company, and bound not to tell anything about their work to the family once their grandfather accepted and gave them jobs.

Madara became his right-hand man, and Izuna was in charge of training all the newcomers. Hundreds of Uchiha joined the family business each year, but the main branch of the family was the one that genuinely mattered, and the one Indra expected would work for him.

When Obito found himself finishing high school, he believed Izuna would excuse him for being his nephew, and give him a job without having to study. "Ha! Silly boy, you remind me of me when I was your age... Good luck!" Incredulity was his only reaction when this one had no compassion, and sent him to pursue the same career he and Madara had to study to be accepted by his great-grandfather.

Frustrated, he had no choice but to enroll in university, start a career he didn't like, and study by force just to avoid disappointing his family. He would prove to everyone he could do it, and get the stupid degree to get his stupid job.

He didn't even know what all the knowledge he was forcibly absorbing would do for him, or how he would implement it later, since he had no idea what his family was involved in. Internally, he was convinced pursuing such a position in the company was only to find out once and for all where they got so much wealth, and why they were so rich.

His studies were paid for entirely by his grandfather, Indra having more money than life and no problem financing the education of his entire immediate family. For this very reason, dropping out was not an option.

He had only one single exam left before he was done with all his studies, and it was the most important test of all. So close is the final stretch he can even see it, feel it, and fantasize about the pleasure he will feel when shoving his college degree in Izuna's face.

Drowning in books and papers, Obito stares at his iPad screen in confusion, his head so burned and overwhelmed he can not understand what he reads. He has spent more than three hours straight without looking at his phone or opening Tiktok, desperate to learn everything he couldn't in the last semester of school.

He was never a good student, and at this moment he regretted it. Asking his younger cousins for help was out of the equation, the three of them just starting the same career he's about to finish. If he asked Itachi he'd probably have answers, but he didn't want to lose pride in front of his little cousin.

He scratches his eyes while leaning back in his chair, elbows resting on his desk and crumpling about three notebooks under them. He's sick of looking at the same wall for hours now, and decides he needs a break. He grabs everything he needs and stuffs it hatefully into a backpack, sick of studying, then leaves his apartment in search of a different place.

He doesn't know where exactly he wants to go, if maybe he feels up for a coffee shop or a restaurant, a public park or the house of one of his friends. He could stop by Kakashi's workplace, relax a bit and then try again, but his legs are moving aimlessly.

With his headphones in his ears and music blaring, he stumbles head-on into a library. He's never set foot in one, never visited such a place, and never had so many books around him. Well, maybe yes, in his great-grandfather's private library located in his mansion, but that was all.

Obito curiously walks in, unsure of how to proceed in such an establishment. He observes the place from the entrance, but feels uncomfortable to show he has no idea how to act around the place, and decides to fake it until he makes it.

With his backpack over his shoulder and music in his ears, he tries to pass the security turnstiles as if he knew his way and finds the metal tube won't budge. Embarrassed, he looks around, hoping no one has seen this. He tries again, but the same thing happens repeatedly, and he has no way to get in.

Feeling stupid, he decides to leave the premises and pretend nothing is wrong, but when he turns around to walk, he comes face to face with the most beautiful woman he has ever seen in his life. She's wearing a vest with her name on it, (Y/N), as he reads, and manages to make Obito forget how to talk.

"You need to leave your backpack in one of our lockers before you can get in, otherwise I can't allow you." Her voice sounded angelic, sweet, calm, but the Uchiha could do no more than stammer a weak "sorry" and run off.

He didn't manage to study that day, and he didn't pass his exam either, but having to retake the class gave him the perfect excuse to go back to the library and see her again.

(Y/N) looked like a lovely, quiet, attractive woman. Her features were dreamy, her hair beautiful, and her eyes stood out among beautiful skin. Obito had a few opportunities to see her up close, and he fell more and more in love. She seemed to be one of those persons everyone adores, and every time he heard her talking to a customer he was sure her voice conveyed pure patience. If he had to guess, he believed her to be just as introverted and shy as he was, and chose to think that was the only reason she didn't approach him.

His routine had become going to the place, sitting at the table closest to the front desk, and pretending to read. He would pick up books of which he wouldn't even read the titles, solely to pretend he was doing something and keep his hands busy, making his alibi look real.

He grew to be a frequent presence, and it was she who greeted him every afternoon when he arrived at the library. Obito would smile shyly, producing a small wave with his hand, not daring to utter a word in front of her.

He felt awkward, clumsy, uncomfortable, weird, and hated not having the courage to declare his attraction, ask for her number, or even to talk to her in general, but being able to see her every day was enough, and gave him something to be excited and expectant about every afternoon.

He never dared to talk to her, not even small talk, but it was enough for him to see her, even if only from afar.

Months passed, Obito finally succeeded in his last exam and ran out of reasons to go. Indra agreed to take him into the company, gave him a position, and his uncle Izuna took it upon himself to train him privately. It turned out that there was no such company, the image of the family business was just a lie to cover up the reality of the job.

His great-grandfather ran one of the most important mafias in the country, and Madara was his right-hand man. They were in competition with another group, which was causing problems. All the Uchiha who annually joined the business were trained with weapons and violence, always ready to fight against the biggest enemy: the Senju.

When Obito was finally ready not to need Izuna by his side all the time, learned how to shoot, use a knife, and kill if necessary, his uncle wanted to celebrate in his own style: by going to a strip club.

The younger Uchiha was not at all comfortable with the idea, reluctant from the start, but he had no say whatsoever in the face of Izuna's insistence. His uncle had a talent for convincing people about whatever he wanted, and he understood why Indra chose him for all negotiations with potential clients.

Forced against his will, he was bundled into his trainer's car, and taken to the most expensive bar in the whole city. A place where only the big guns go, and the tips for the dancers don't go below $5,000.

As he enters the place, he has the urge to cover his face, shield his eyes and run away, but Izuna slaps him on the back and pushes him forward. "Come on, little boy, it's time for you to face reality. I bet you're still a virgin, hm?" his uncle laughs out loud, and with the beauty of both Uchiha, it's not long before women are swarming around them like flies to honey.

The atmosphere is filled with smoke, the smell of alcohol and drugs. There are burly men pouncing on women, people drinking questionable things, and he can even visualize a table full of white powder. It may have been the place for high-net-worth people, but it looked like a sleazy dump.

Handsome, wealthy men are all these women are looking for, and Obito feels dirty, used. He follows his uncle with his head down, sitting in front of the catwalk where a dancer gives a pole show. He can only stare at the floor, ignoring any attempt at contact they offer.

Next to him, Izuna is abducted by three women at the same time, with two under each arm and one on his lap. The Uchiha seems to be famous on the spot, and his wallet quickly begins to empty. "Madara’s going to hate me, but all will be settled with tomorrow's deal, right big guy?" he shouts over the music, trying to communicate with his nephew.

Tomorrow was an important day, the first heavy negotiation Indra would allow him to observe. Remembering the event suddenly makes him nervous, and he doesn't notice when the spectacle in front of him changes. The music playing is different, and a new girl walks down the catwalk.

The woman moves deftly, stealing everyone's gaze and wearing lingerie far too revealing. Almost nothing is left to the imagination, and Izuna whistles insinuatingly, making the girls who stand with him jealous.

Obito is the only one who refuses to enjoy the show, and the woman can't seem to allow it. Positioning herself in front of him, she sits down on the catwalk, to seconds later stand on the floor in her huge heels. A soft hand with sharp acrylic nails takes him by the chin and forces him to look up.

When they connect gazes, the world seems to stop.

The beautiful (Y/N), with her breasts almost in the air and very little fabric covering her most intimate areas, looks at him in panic.

They both gape, not knowing what to say, paralyzed, while the music continues to play in the background. The expectant men begin to boo her for not continuing with the show, and all she can do is run away.

Obito, in the adrenaline of the moment, tries to chase her, but a huge security guy stops him before he can enter the dressing room where the girl took refuge.

I had a weird thought on your God of storms au, specifically when I noticed you mentioned in one of Gai's lives, he becomes a rogue.

And Gai is usually such a noble character. Living lives full of goodness and professions that are linked to either defending people, leading a community, or making everyone's lives better and then one time Gai's life ends up with him being a wanted criminal and Kakashi takes notice and is like "...what?! My favorite human! What happened?!"

So he investigates in disguise, ends up kidnapped by rogue Gai, and it turns out he's in some Robin Hood shenanigans, and is like "Sorry for kidnapping you, those government officials were about to try and off you. Figured you were safer with me Mr. Handsome Stranger.. But while we're on the topic, would you like to join my group of youthful, merrimen?! We're about to bring peace to the people!"

And Kakashi, god of storms... being tempted to join a gang just to see where this goes.

This is possibly the only time i think another god would step in and put a stop to whatever is about to happen, and it’s Yamato

Gai and his friends are hiding in his forest so he hears everything and he is simply not going to stand by and watch as a GOD stoops to the level of petty thievery

He knows Kakashi was legit thinking of it and he’s not going to tolerate it at all.

Gai gai ‘s a new found respect for the forest god (who he already respected a lot and made ton’s of sacrifices and prayers to since it’s his domain he’s using as a hide out) but he’s also stunned to find out he just invited the god of storms to join his merry gang

He’s even more surprised to find out the god of storms is HOT.

Kakashi of course doesn’t join. He would never! He’s a god;

He does however visit often with food that may or may not have been stolen from the rich because he felt like it and Gai is looking very hungry.

One of Gai’s merry men is absolutely a priest who took care of a temple dedicated to Obito that was actually destroyed by the rich to make room for some more fancy homes, and he’s forever bitter about it but also just angry they took away a safe place for travelers and the poor

Don’t worry though, Obito made sure to make those rich jerks lives TERRIBLE as vengeance

-The Uchihas are a rich family, owning Mansions/Vacation homes all that

-Obito lives with Madara, Izuna, Shisui and Kagami

-Rin’s Mom is the maid for Madara, she lives there with Rin

-Obito would sneak rin out of her room and into his to hang out with him, as they got older (17/18) it turned into them getting stoned/drunk or doing dirty things

-he steals his supplies from madara

-obito taught her how to swim and drive

-Rin would mess around with obito’s hair and put hair ties in randomly

Madara will NOT tolerate such stupid behaviors from these two LMAO

Young people shouldn't be messing around like that, so that should not be encouraged whatsoever.

Maddy daddy ain't no fool, anon. Discipline is important in his household. If Obito falls out of line then our boy will need to start praying.

Alright, so basically the idea was for a The Arcana AU with Shisui as the MC

The Arcana is a mobile otome game where the MC (who is the player, with customizable pronouns and name) is the apprentice of a famous magician, and the story is about MC getting contacted by the countess of the city where they live to help her shed light over her husband's death and, long story short, during the whole game we as the MC will come to find out lots of stuff (and eventually end up with one of the 6 dateable characters, but that's secondary to the story) and the game's called The Arcana because throughout the story we'll have to work either with or against the Major Arcana from a Tarot deck (and there's an upright and a reversed ending for each of the 6 dateable characters, for a total of 12 endings, depending on which dialog and action options you choose)

I will get more detailed, but I will warn you (and your followers) that there will be some spoilers about the story, so if you don't want to publish the spoilers or don't want to read them it's alright and I apologize if that's the case (and, of course, if that's the case then stop reading here)

Anyway

Basically I would put Shisui as the MC for a few reasons, one of which being that throughout the story we find out that the MC died and the famous magician brought them back to life with the help of a ritual, and I think that fits with Shisui a lot (and also the MC doesn't remember that so the angst of Shisui finding out he should be dead?? Priceless)

The magician could either be someone like Itachi (losing his only friend would be devastating and finding out that he could bring Shisui back? ... I could see Itachi doing that) or maybe someone like Inoichi who wants his son student back, or maybe someone like Obito if we put him as Shisui's big brother

Right now I'm mostly basing myself off of the og characters in the game but without the romance part (so that I can put whoever I want in place of everyone without worrying lol), however since this is an AU it can be changed and tweaked as much as we want so- lmao

Anyway. There's also other characters ofc, for examples the magician has a friend who lives in the woods and wants to be left alone, he used to be a gladiator forced to fight by the late count but hated it and now has even had a magical spell put on him so that people forget about him shortly after meeting him unless he wants them to remember, and honestly I think that could be perfect for someone like Kakashi? Just off living in the forest and doing his own thing with his pack of dogs

The count (who while is dateable in his own route is a complete asshole in every other route) is definitely someone like Danzō in my mind, since throughout the story we find out that the ritual the magician used to bring MC back to life was initially made to give a new and healthy body to the sick count who is terrible at his count job, cares only about himself and the riches he can get his hands on and doesn't care if anyone around him dies as long as he stays healthy, rich and in power (and maybe Danzō wouldn't care about the rich part, but staying strong and in power and able to command people? I could see it...)

The countess could definitely be Tsunade. Maybe instead of being countess by marriage (because if the count is Danzō then eugh) she could have been able to take the place after Danzō's death? And also the countess in the game has a servant/right-hand woman who would be perfect as Shizune ngl, but also maybe Orochimaru as the count and Tsunade married him in the hopes of changing the city for the better... Both ideas sound good ngl

The last of the main 6 (7 with MC) is an ex plague doctor who used to work a lot during a big plague that basically decimated the city (during which the MC dies, something like 4 years before the start of the game and the MC has been brought back like 3 years before the start, so around a year after they died) and I could see either Kabuto as the doctor (but like, pre-Shippuden Kabuto lmao) or maybe even better Sakura

There's also various "villains" (some are actively trying to kill MC during the story and some are just... In the wrong place at the wrong time and don't want to cause us any harm) like for example an inhuman being who disguises themselves as a doctor who loves to experiment on humans and watch them die who I honestly think would be perfect for Orochimaru or fourth war Kabuto (when he's all ugly and snake-y and an asshole), but other than them (the doctor character uses they/them pronouns) all the others are way less important and we could put, like, the entirety of the Akatsuki if we want to

And maybe instead of the Major Arcana there could be the nine (maybe ten if we count the Ten-Tails) Tailed Beasts? Throughout the story in the game the MC has to get help from the Major Arcana because the count is trying to either release the Devil onto the mortal world (in some routes) or become the Devil himself (in other routes) and every character we meet in the story is tied to one of the 22 Major Arcana and only with the help of the actual Arcana, not the human character tied to them, can the MC stop them before it's too late

Anyway. The idea is pretty much in general? Like, yes, I could see certain Naruto characters in place of the game characters but I wouldn't know where to start for an actual plot (or at least one that isn't just a step-by-step re-telling of the og game's plot) and Idk if you'll find the idea interesting (obv knowing the game might help bc my explanation alone might be confusing and/or lacking more informations) but I'm sending this to you anyway

And also I'm so so sorry for how long this is

This is a feat of an ask! Honestly playing around and assigning characters and imagining a story is often just as, if not more, satisfying than actually writing, this is such a colourful idea and I am so on board for the Narutoverse characters you've assigned across the board, especially Kakashi sounds so cool! Even if this story goes 'nowhere', it sounds really interesting and dynamic so big kudos to your imagination, Anon! If you ever get around to writing it, please do let us all know ✨😉

Deidara's father, the king, decides instead of killing the criminal, he'll give him to his son as a gift. A toy, in a sense. Deidara keeps Obito in his room, unsure of what to do or what to make of the mortal — he's never seen a human before. Obito doesn't fight a thing, because he was arranged to marry Nohara Rin the week he was captured, something he dreaded since the day it was announced.

Obito was an orphan as a kid(in the anime there was a grandmother) and was clearly not an overly rich boy. But how the hell rich was he as a shadow mizukage????? Plus kamui is literally the key to any money vault. Not only did Obito become super strong, he became super rich. If he was only rich in gold it would be fine, but there's a spare door in his personal bank vault where a commensurate mountain of mental problems lie. It's even a bit of a shame.

I now have an idea in my head... Someone wrote an interesting text here (if you know who, write in the comments, I'll note in the post) that Obito didn't give Kakashi a gift not because he didn't know what to give, but because there was no money for a good gift. So, au within canon where Obito just overwhelms Kakashi with gifts. Does he do it like Tobi or Obito does? Or doesn't show his face to Kakashi at all? Suggest your options as to what you find more interesting.

Kakashi: *receives an expensive set of kunai*

Kakashi in one week: *receives a very nice seal scroll from Uzushio*

Kakashi in another week: *receives an expensive set of poisons from Suna*

Kakashi, finally noticing some kind of note after many weeks of unprecedented generosity from someone unknown: "need help, I can't decide which country to buy a mansion in - rice country, tea country, or snow country? Write the answer on a note and leave it here, I'll pick it up."

Kakashi, completely horrified that his apartment is a freaking passageway and already knowing that this isn't a joke, writes back: "you know, it would be nice to just know the name of my secret admirer or at least see you in person."

Kakashi, reading the note three days later: "that's impossible, and yes, I'm not a secret admirer, dammit. By the way, since you didn't pick one mansion, I bought all three, the documents are in the same place you usually keep them"

Kakashi, feeling a chill run down his spine and looking at the documents for three very expensive mansions: and what do people call this now? Charity????

Obito: I'm not Kakashi's secret admirer, that's stupid.

14. that one thing you see in fics all the time

hmmm this is tough for really any media because I don't really look through fics anymore, but I have to say one thing I remember seeing so fucking much in naruto fics is like. So many people write modern au's and like 99.999% of the time they always make sasuke and the uchihas all like fuck, rich business majors running some kind of big corporation and naruto some poor dude and it's fucking weird it makes no fucking sense to me. There's literally no point in the anime where the uchiha are really particularly rich, and sasuke himself is never any more well of than naruto is-- except for when his family was alive and caring for him I guess. It seems so mutually agreed on in the naruto fanfic base but if just baffles me as to why. Is it just. i dunno. cause he's... serious??? is it just for the yaoi power dynamics???? it's fucking weird and a lot of the time gets weirdly classist about it too.

15. that one thing you see in fanart all the time

oh god uhhh. hmmmmm. hmmmmmmmmmmm well every sonic artist and their mom loves drawing a dramatic imagined recreation of the sonic adventure ark scene where shadow's falling from space and sonics trying to catch him and all-- I don't actually dislike it or feel annoyed by it but its kinda funny how its like. a staple of any sonic artist that they Will draw that at least once. even though the specific scene itself doesn't really exist... maybe thats why honestly.

16. you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc)

MODERN AUS OR LIKE. SLICE OF LIFE-Y AUS. IDK it's like okay lets take this very wild and exciting media and just suck out everything characteristic to it and make them do. real lifey things. it never really works and proposes anything interesting. The only time i've ever liked the idea of a modern au though was only me and drift's hypothetical modern naruto au but the appeal of it was that things just remain just as batshit as they are in canon. madara is still some crazy old man who never dies who the whole uchiha family kinda hates who makes homemade experimental hashirama hormone burgers that he feeds to obito. that kind of batshit. honestly the main appeal was really just madara.

You don't understand, I need to read your Team Taka AU!!

I do have some questions!

1. The missions that Team Taka accepts, are they only shinobi related? or are they also more mundane like farming, building?

2. If they're shinobi related, do they have hard nos? and what are they willing to accept?

3. You said that Danzo dies with the help of all Taka, but do they take more actions? making it public? destroying the world?

First of all. thank you!!! I am so glad I have interested at least one(1) person in this AU idea. And I would love to read it too, but unfortunately I would have to like... actually write it. Bummer.

To answer your questions:

1) They're a mix of both! What I had in mind is that they're often moving a lot, village-to-village, town-to-town, maybe even the city, in search of information on the things they're searching for (The 7 Swords of the Mist, traces of Juugo's clan, traces of the Uzumaki, etc.) and so here and then they'll either find someone who needs their immediate help or ask around if they can help with anything if they need the money. Sometimes a mission will be "my son got kidnapped after a village attack please helpme find him" or helping with groceries. Like your usual shinobi missions, really.

They never take more money than is strictly necessary (which is at Sasuke's insistence) when they move as a group. Sometimes they'll split up around a town to take a few individual odd jobs, and Karin and Suigetsu will sometimes take a little more than they think the mission is worth, but only if the client looks well off enough. Sometimes they will do missions for free if they look particularly dire and they feel too bad to charge the client, which happens a lot more than they'd expect.

2) They discuss what their limits would be, when they're acting as a group, among each other. Since Sasuke's no longer leading them towards a goal that is his alone, "just do what Sasuke says" isn't how they function anymore (Suigetsu and Karin will constantly remind Juugo of this, who just kind of already decided how that would be how he'd work for himself. Some encouragement from Sasuke himself and more time getting used to working as a team eventually leads him to speak up about what he thinks more). What they decided after long discussion is:

They will not take assassinations as long as they can all agree that the person being assassinated deserves it. Which kind of people fit into that is another subject for discussion but they can all agree that they won't entertain petty rivalries or requests from people in high positions (rich, noble, etc.) that are clearly abuses of power.

They will not bother helping people who can clearly help themselves, if it's for mundane every day tasks. They will check for it if that happens to be the case.

They will not take on anything that keeps them in one place for too long, given that they're still on the run and two of them have their faces on official village watchlists.

3) I hadn't thought as far as "what do they do with what they know now and after killing Danzo", actually! That part is still something I'm working on. But they're definitely not gonna go public as far as like being the faces of the Revolution, or something. They don't have the power or the resources for that, and prefer (and are better-suited) to do some individual direct action.

I did mention that Obito/Madara as Akatsuki ringleaders are completely absent from this AU, making it so that the Akatsuki and what they do are 100% the work of Konan and Nagato, so... at some point, Hebi are radicalized enough to see the Akatsuki less as dangerous criminals and more as people who had a point. They eventually face with Kisame, who has a sword Suigetsu wants, who is perfectly happy to tell them what the Akatsuki wants and what their true motives are. So they could collaborate with what's left of them from time to time (that being just Kisame, Konan, and Zetsu, lol). I do not believe in Konan trusting Naruto so readily like Nagato did so she won't do that in this AU. She will try to rebuild the Akatsuki, or at least a movement that can stand against the Hidden Villages and challenge them, bc it's what she deserves. And Hebi can help with that, what with the connections with other people they've built, and such.

Summary: Coraline AU; You moved to a new home missing the 6 stray cats that you always feed whenever you come back home from school. You soon found a small door and opened it.

You wanted to cry, your mother was a loving and caring person but today it seems something had happened during the move to this place that she and her boyfriend were furiously fighting downstairs, Arguing that they weren’t the ones that gave the movers the wrong address and that it was their partner’s fault for it.

You just happened to come in and ask where they placed your teddy bear. Your mother told her to wait for a bit but her boyfriend snapped at you, complaining that you were useless and why did they have to bring you here now instead of leaving her at her grandparent’s place for the time being instead of this.

Hurt by what that man said you went to one of the rooms and locked yourself within ignoring the angered voice of your mother that it was uncalled for even when stressed and even to a young child at that and that he should apologize to you for what he said.

You never liked that new boyfriend, he was nice to you when your mother was there but he often acts like a different person when she isn’t there as if done with everything. Your mother was surprisingly a rather rich work-at-home lady and after her divorce from your father she started to look around. Most of the relationships never went more than a few months.

But her boyfriend now they have been dating for around 8 months now and your mother who bought a home around a village thought it was a great idea to live there with her boyfriend and you. She was a hopeless romantic really and thought that romance in the countryside would be a delightful experience.

So here you are now, you said goodbye to your friends in the city promising to phone them when things get settled in and also the neighbors that always gave you cookies and snacks. You already missed the black cats that you always feed when you come back from school.

There were around 6 of them and they would always be waiting for you to come home, lazing around the small garden you had in the old home. They were always so sweet to you and would let you pet them. (Your mother and her boyfriend weren’t allowed tho, they would always hiss at them even more so to the boyfriend come anywhere close and claws are out.)

Cleaning your face from the dry tears after calming down, you looked around the room you stumbled in. White walls coloured yellow from how old the place was, the furniture looked as if they were caked with dust, there was an old clock on the wall, two chairs and a table, a mirror and that’s kinda it. The room wasn’t lit by the small chandelier in the room but the rather big window the room had.

You walked around careful not to touch anything when you noticed a small door covered by the old wallpaper. Walking up to it you noticed that the edges were clawed so that it would be easier to open. You grabbed the handle and tugged but it was locked.

“Hmm…” You tilted your head and looked around searching for a key when you noticed something on the corner of the windowsill, a golden key. You grabbed it and hoped that it was the right key to the small door and when you poked the wallpaper covering the keyhole with the key and turned only to hear a click sound you brightened.

Opening the door you gasped, behind the door was a glowing red tunnel. You were hesitant but your curiosity got the best of you and you looked at the big door where your mother and her boyfriend was then the small door and crawled in.

You reached the other side and in front of you was another door, you pushed the door that was blocking your way and was greeted with a bright light stinging your eyes a bit.

“Hng..” You covered your eyes.

“Our little Chibi is here! See I told you Suke-chan she would come!”

Suddenly you were picked by a pair of strong arms, you narrowed your eyes to stare at the person who picked you up. A man somewhere in his mid-twenties was holding you by the wait, grinning at you. “You have been keeping us waiting for too long, Tachi-chan should have lunch ready by now!”

You screamed and tried to push the man who was holding you away but the man would not budge stronger than you he kept you in his arms. “There there, Chibi-can! Heh, you should not do that. What would happen if you fell from my arms!? No, no, you must stay still.” The man said coyly, with a grin on his face as he rubbed his cheek on yours. “After this let’s play a game alrighty?”

“She should have her nap, you know she is still young Shisui.” Another man said right beside you and the older man. He looked rather annoyed but his features softened when he looked at you, patting your head carefully as if you were glass but still wanting to show his care. The boy looked to be in his teens.

“You are no fun Suke-Chan! But yes our little chibi must sleep so that she can be healthy!”

You looked at the two affectionate men alarmed, what alarmed you even more scared was their features. They had pale skin and black locks of hair, handsome maybe you were unsure when you looked at their eyes… well buttons for eyes. They were black but with the right lighting, they turn red.

“Who are you?” You finally asked. “Awww Chibi-chan forgot us, how could you..” the man holding you said, tightening his hold over you and starting again to rub his cheek to yours. “I am Shisui, that is Suke-chan.”

“It is Sasuke.”

“Yeah whatever, but you are also gonna be meeting your other brothers Itachi, Obito and Tobi also your uncle Madara!” Shisui explained they walked down the stairs as you looked around awed by how pretty the place was. It looked similar to your new home but bigger with extra rooms and unlike your home, this place was decked with pretty decorations, elegant wallpaper and furniture.

“She is awake!!” “Baby sis is awake!” You heard a happy scream and snapped your head to where the sound was coming from and saw two young boys who looked to be around 14 years old looking at you with excitement or so you think, as one had a mask on his face. Both ran towards you and Shisui who didn’t let them take you from his arms even when they grabbed you by the legs to drag you down.

You yelped in fear of falling and tightly grabbed Shisui’s neck scared. You heard Shisui “tut, tut,” at them and that they scared you and that they should apologize to you. The two young boys looked at each other then at you who held on to Shisui’s neck, the smile on his face and Sasuke’s glare towards him went unnoticed.

“Sorry lil sis I got too excited.” “Tobi is also sorry sister! Tobi and Obito are sorry..” The two apologize.

You looked at their eyes, again they are buttons it made you scared but at the same time, you felt a familiarity towards them that your child brain can't explain. Have you met them before? But you don’t remember…

Suddenly you were taken into the arms of another person, surprised you yelp but were unable to hold on to Shisui, you looked at the man who held you. The man looked older, maybe in his 30s? He looked at you with a soft smile on his face, eyes are button eyes but you saw a tint of red from the black.

“See Izuna, Chibi-chan likes me more!” Shisui said, his tone complaining as he tried to grab you again only for Izuna to turn and dodge him, keeping you away from him. “Do not joke around like that, our little darling likes me more than you.” You looked at the man’s face again, huh?

“Right?”

This time the two younger boys yelled “No, Lil sis like me!” Obito yelled no liking that you were being taken by someone else like this. Tobi felt the same way and also started to complain, “Sister likes Tobi more than uncle Izuna and Shisui nii-chan!”

“What are you talking about?” The sudden hash tone made you flinch and almost everyone noticed it. Izuna placed your head on his chest cooing you that it was okay and that Sasuke just didn’t know how to control his emotions.

“Awww you scared Chibi, Sasuke~” He teased, but his eyes flashed red as if warning. You saw it and felt your blood run cold. You were scared. Sasuke thought that reaction was for him and flinched, he looked down, unable to look you in the eye. “I am... sorry…”

“Sasuke can be a little sharp around the edges but he cares about you darling,” Izuna said to you. You, unable to do anything really just quietly nodded, the members of this house took that as a sign that you forgave Sasuke who brightened a bit.

You were taken to the kitchen and placed on a chair as Izuna took a seat beside you and so did the rest, the seat beside you was left empty but your eyes were on the man opposite to you who looked like he was in his late 30s with very very long spiky hair. He had a smirk on his face and was intimidating even with those button eyes.

“You are scaring her, Madara nii-san.” Izuna spoke towards the man. The man, Madara grunted and continued to stare at you.

Right after that, another new person walked in holding two plates in his hands. He looked young, maybe in his 20s and besides his button eyes his features softened when he saw you.

“What are we eating Tachi-chan?” Shisui asked curiously, watching as Itachi placed the food down. You gasp when more food and plates appear out of thin air and fill the table. In your head this was magic and your eyes sparkled at the sight.

You heard a chuckle and you looked up to see the person who placed the food down looking at you with a small smile on his face. He poked your head with two fingers before seating down right beside you.

“They are our little Imoto’s favorites,” Itachi replied, placing food in your plate, little of each but enough to fill the plate. You hesitantly thank the man and carefully start to eat, you were unsure in the beginning but to deny your favorite food is difficult.

As you ate the man continued to place food on your plate while the others all watched. If you will look at them they would look the other way as if they didn’t want to get caught staring. The ones who didn’t turn away were Izuna who always smiles when you two lock eyes, Itachi who patted your head and poke your head and the man in front of you who continued to stare at you with a smirk on his face.

At the end of lunch, you stood up and announced that you will be going back home and for the first time you saw all of them look at you with a displeased expression and even angry faces. “Here is your home,” Sasuke said, annoyed that you would want to go back there.

“Huh? But mom would be looking for me..” You said thinking about your mother who might be looking for you.

You were swept off your feet by Madara. His button eyes which used to be black were pure bright red as if angry. “You are not allowed to go back. You are within my territory and I will not allow you to go back to those people. That woman is selfish and blind while her partner is annoying and disgusting.”

Madara kept you in his arms as you pouted at the man who tightly held you on your legs. “But-”

“Do not make your father mad at you.”

You blinked at him, what? “Father?”

He huffed at you, his face somewhat annoyed but there was a glimmer in his button eyes as if amused when you called him father.

“She is my daughter, Madara nii-san, didn't you say that you will be the uncle?” Izuna cut in angrily glaring at Madara for what he said, he was supposed to be the father here not Madara!

“Well, I am the father now. But anyway you are not allowed to return.” “But-”

“Waaaahhhh, Tobi doesn’t want Sister to leave Tobi!”

“Little sis, you were supposed to play with me later! Why would you want to go back!”

“Hn, you are not going.”

“Chibi-chan you are not allowed to go back~ If you try you will be punished.”

You tilted your head, but you really want to go back home. Suddenly you were taken away and into the arms of Itach who overlooked you in concern. “I wanna go back home…” You whined.

Itachi had a sad look on his face but using his free hand he carefully closed your eyes, saying “It is nap time, we will talk about this late Imoto.”

You wanted to deny those feelings, you wanted to yell that you were not sleepy but all too soon sleep took you and you leaned on his arms. Letting darkness take you quietly.

You opened your eyes and in front of you was the old wallpaper that belonged to your new home. You looked around you were sleeping on a couch your mother was beside you standing and calling someone, most likely the moving company.

You looked around and everything was dusty and old, different from your dream. Rubbing your eyes landed on a familiar black cat, huh?

Your eyes glittered when you saw more black cats hiding from your mother but looking right at you as if waiting. You stood up and walked towards them, they started to lead you somewhere, to that old room.

You watched them walk into the small door one by one and you curiously looked in, wondering if your dream was actually real. You weren’t fast enough to dodge a hand that grabbed you on the wrist and pulled you into their world and this time you are not getting away.

“____?” Your mother called looking around for you after she finished the call. The small was slammed shut, locked, and would most likely never be opened again.
