Continuing my Rick and Morty brainrot, i appreciated how  "Rickternal Friendshine of the Spotless Mort" made BirdPerson realize how toxic Rick as a friend can be. Yes, he had somewhat an idea that Rick wasn’t the best person to have around given how they probably stopped talking for a while after they parted ways in the Battle of Blood Ridge. However, i think he reconsidered this again when he noticed how Rick kept the fact that Birdperson had a daughter until it was convenient for him. I think this makes up for how he sometimes used to excuse Rick’s toxic behaviour towards others in past. My guess is that they didn’t keep in touch that much over the years, so, that could explain why Birdperson had a different opinion on Rick than his family did. He still saw him as this friend who battled side by side in the war instead of this man he turned into and he had to learn this the hard way in this episode. I wonder how their dynamic is going to be in season 6, if it’s explored again, i think Birdperson isn’t going to in friendly terms with Rick like they used to be in the past. He is likely going to avoid Rick for a while, not sure how to feel about him.

As cute and funny that is the idea of Rick talking care of Birdperson’s child... i don’t think he should be left near her more than 5-10 minutes. At the moment Rick is in a very bad state of mind, the worst that he has been in seasons and he can barely take care of himself. We also know how he treats Morty and Summer, so leaving him with another child isn’t a good idea.

What would be interesting is that for an episode Birdperson asks Rick to take care of his daughter. Rick does this to impress Birdperson but he keeps fucking up royalty (He doesn’t hurt her, he just doesn’t know how to be a good babysitter). By the end of the story, Rick and the girl have a talk. She tells him that while it was messy, she still had fun. I also imagine Birdperson asking how everything turned out. Rick at first lies saying something like ¨We watched some movies¨ and then BP’s daughter accidentally burts out ¨Rick took me to a planet where i almost died! It was so fun!¨. In response to that Rick says ¨Fuck¨ and then cuts to the credits.
