"Lacunosa was full of humans with very traditional beliefs. There's a story in that village that a monster comes up from the Giant Chasm every night to eat the townspeople, and that's why they shut themselves in at night."

[Nema]

"Eeesh. There's not a actually a monster in the chasm though, right?"

[Jean]

"Ha! As if!" Jean laughed. Morelet, who was standing next to Marigold, chuckled heartily.

"Just beware the paranoid boomers!"

[Nema]

"Eugh, 'boomers' is such a dated term."

Everyone laughed besides Marigold, who only flinched. Not at the horrible boomers joke, but at the repeated mention of monsters. She had the phone call with Nigel and the recent news broadcast playing over and over in their mind.

Kappa was headed towards the Giant Chasm. The Giant Chasm housed Unova's largest Wishing Star. Wishing Stars around the region were violently exploding. Nema is going to be near a ticking time bomb.

"Kappa." Marigold said sternly.

Kappa's face dropped.

[Kappa]

"I'm going." Kappa spat stubbornly. "I've been through too much today to stop now. All because of some stupid rock-"

GOD i know i know he's got some Kick to him! he's got Flavor! i love how he turned the common perception of his character on its side - everyone expected him to be wholesome and helpful and sweet, and then the update came in with the fuckin steel chair-

hmmmm i can see both sides of the beetle on Eddie's bio - the significance, and the possibility of it just being There because most pages had 1-2 bugs, and the audio was about Eddie. but ALSO its so so likely that is Was significant! i honestly thought so as well!
