Oh totally not a weird question!! Id love to answer it!!

My main comfort fandom is, kinda obviously haha, HTTYD. I've been in this fandom since 2014, when I was only a lil baby of 11, and I've made so many friends because of it. My twin brother and I would often pretend we were dragons, flying around in our attic, and me and my friends would write stories and make up ocs for it. I've actually made my three best friends through the franchise (I got introduced to one of them because a mutual knew we both liked HTTYD back when we were 13-ish, and the other two I have met through the HTTYD oc fandom on Instagram and I love them both to death) and I couldn't be any more grateful for what Dragons has given me and taught me <3

As for comfort characters, that really shifts. One of my mains is actually one of my HTTYD ocs, Siri Vínteri. She just radiates comfort in a way that I have difficulty to explain, but I don't think I would be where I am now if not for her creation.

For canon comfort characters, a big one right now is Snotlout. Me and my friends used to make fun of him many years back when we were kids, but I've really grown attached to him as I got older and my relationship with my father worsened. Realising I wasn't alone in this kind of situation through a fictional character was honestly such a relieve and tbh, because of this Snotlout is my favorite HTTYD character.

For other, less main comfort characters, Jaskier from the Witcher is one I take comfort from, same with Willow from the Owl House. I can't lie and say Jack Sparrow isn't one too lmao, I have no idea why but he just makes me smile and makes me forget some worries I have.

Thank you for your ask! This was so much fun to think about, since I actually almost never think about my comforts in media. And im so grateful you like my blog!!
