Is the way parents have kids in this partially inspired by storkos from viva piñata? I know the stork thing is a common idea used but it reminded me of that game a lot

The idea is that your first Cookoo will be delivered by Storkos, at random, when you breed 2 other pinatas, instead of their egg. Once your Cookoo hatches you will trigger the wild Cookoo appear cutscene and can obtain them through the normal route.

Leafos would have very normie nerd kind of costumes. Cute witch on halloween, casual character inspired looks (disneybounding type stuff), maybe cosplays some older Rare characters and cute video game icons (isabelle animal crossing comes to mind)

Storkos is SUPERHEROES SUPERHEROES SUPERHEROES! She’s the cosplay QUEEN of the island, and spends so much time, money and effort on her costumes, making them accurate to the comics and cartoons they come from (but never the live action movies) and has several cosplay contest awards from conventions over the years

Seedos covers himself in grime and leaves from the swamp, calls himself a swamp monster and calls it a day. Sometimes Storkos will help him put together a more elaborate costume, like a shellybean or a living tree… but more often she’ll make him her sidekick in her superhero cosplaying, despite Seedos’ complaints and cluelessness about who the hell these characters even are

Dastardos doesn’t dress up often, he’s already a horror movie monster/cryptid every day of the year, and would rather spend halloween playing that part and terrorising the island a little more than usual! But when he DOES dress up… Well, in my headcanon, Stardos was always a bit of a repressed edgelord, especially in his preteen and teen years. He went NUTS around halloween, dressing up as all the best halloween monsters and letting his mischievous side run free! Dastardos in the present still has that love of dressing up for halloween in him, so on the rare occasion that he has an excuse to, he always puts a lot of effort into it, using magic to help sell the transformation into a different kind of monster than he usually is…
