Stone Family

The Stone family is a collective of North-American Avatars all adopted into one legal family line, much like the Fairchilds. They're all governed by Ma Matron, though they can surprisingly keep themselves out of trouble when there isn't a family gathering going on. Gatherings happen at least once a year, to which they all convene at Ma's house and it becomes almost a battleground of bickering. Rules are: Nobody damages the house or the land around it and they can do whatever the hell they want.

The named Stone family so far consist of:

Ma Matron - Isolation

James Stone - Uncanny

Eugene Stone - Sky

John 'Doe' Stone - Hunt

Robert 'Burns' Stone - Purge

Jack Stone - Deep

Bill Stone - Invasion

I LOVE a good Lydia Nicholas character. An ex youtuber who’s trying really hard to kill her boss? A non binary, many times divorced mad scientist? A young woman who’s trying to escape her crime lord uncle and consistently rolls above 30s by level 5? An alien who’s trying really really hard to convince everybody that she’s a human, and works for alien buzzfeed? Literally never misses.

So Maddy is leaving RQ, citing “staff cuts” and thereby implying it wasn’t her decision, following a rather surprising hiatus at Rusty Quill which affected Chapter & Multiverse, Trice Forgotten, as well as Patreon Bonus content, such as Problemagicians and Compulsory Film Appreciation.

At the same time, RQ is putting out multiple updates daily for their stupid little TMA ARG. teasing “The Magnus Archives 2″.

What. The actual fuck. Is going on in this company.

They’re Rusty Quill. Not “The Magnus Archives Incorporated”. They have other shows that have fans. They have other shows that could make them money, if they only promoted them decently.

The Magnus Archives had a great ending, stop milking a dead cow and instead focus on the ones that are still alive.

Stop shooting yourself in the foot.

Can’t believe I’m supporting this shit show with a patreon subscription. I am seriously going to reevaluate this decision.

Got a general name, what kind of fears people might associate with them, and what they could be associated with considering the 14. i’ve seen a lot of “chester norris & augustus can’t be/aren’t/won’t be Thee jon martin & jonah because tmagp can be listened to as a standalone” and i totally get the sentiment but i just…. don’t agree?

like, the chatty incidents are already a mystery that needs solving. it won’t go unexplained, there’s no way imo that chester norris & augustus will exist solely as an easter egg, /especially/ with augustus not being voiced by ben meredith and the fact that the tts is noted within the show to not have been happening from the get-go.

i /don’t/ think that the mystery of the tts ghosts will be the main focus by any means, or that they will be jon martin & jonah in totality - the “some of him” incident feels important there.

basically, when i hear ‘can be listened to as a standalone’ im not hearing ‘not connected at all’ - i’m hearing ‘any necessary/relevant information will be explained somehow so you don’t have to listen to 200 episodes to understand’
