consequences of being sick | yandere!teddy lobo
Tumblr media
ship/pairing: Yandere!Teddy Lobo x g/n!reader
fandom: Renfield
warnings: really ooc, yandere, unhealthy relationships, mentions of vomiting, issues with eating, being chained up, mentions of feeding tubes, threats of force feeding, kissing
word count: 744
A/N: i don't really know what this is, i got the idea last night and the notes i left future me were not at all helpful, hence why this is ass.  i do not in any way support yandere behaviour, please know that this writing is purely fictional, and should not ever be reenacted in real life
You stared at the bowl of cereal on the table, the sight of it making your stomach churn with disgust. The cereal grew mushy and soggy during the time you hadn't been eating, which just made you feel even worse about eating it. Every time you even thought of taking a bite, you felt like bile would rise up in your throat. It was one thing to think about eating when everything about your situation made you sick to your stomach, it was another to attempt to eat with your captor sitting directly across from you, watching your every move.
"We're not leaving this table until you eat."
You kicked your legs awkwardly, feeling chains rattle against them as you did. You looked up at Teddy, shrinking back as you met his eyes, "I'm not hungry."
A frustrated sigh left his lips. You could tell his patience was wearing thin, "You haven't been hungry for the last few days, and if you think I'm gonna let you starve, you're sorely mistaken, Y/N. You need to eat."
"I feel sick." you mumbled, avoiding eye contact with Teddy. He said nothing, nodding to someone behind you, before he stood up from his seat, staring down at you. A man came from behind you and unlocked the chains around your legs.
"Get up."
You did as he said, and he grabbed you by the hand, pushing you in front of him with his hands on your shoulders, guiding you through a hall. He stopped walking, and you were standing in front of a shut door.
"Go on, open it." he instructed, the amused tone in his voice making you shiver in fear.
With shaking hands, you opened the door, letting Teddy lead you inside the room. It was an average sized room with light grey walls, the plainness of it definitely didn't match the rest of the mansion. A single bed was placed against the wall, beeping machines and medical supplies surrounding its sides. You looked at Teddy for some kind of explanation. He shifted his grip on you so he stood beside you with an arm around your waist.
"This room is where you can go when you're not gonna eat." he explained, his hand squeezing your waist as he felt your heart rate grow rapidly, "So instead of eating the easy, non painful way, you can be hooked up to these machines and feeding tubes. And of course it’s not just gonna be while you’re eating, you’re gonna need to be here all day for it to properly work so these machines can process how much nutrients you’re getting and shit.” he turned his head to look at you, taking in the uncomfortable look on your face. “So does that sound good, baby?”
You stared blankly at the room in front of you, unable to even process what Teddy was saying anymore. Before you could even register what you were doing, you pushed yourself against him and slipped out of his grip, quickly running out the room. With a sigh, Teddy pulled out his phone and walked out of the room, following the direction he saw you run in, "They tried running again, do you think you can-" he stopped himself when he walked into the dining room and saw you at the table, hastily eating your cereal, "Never mind." he put his phone in his pocket and walked toward you.
"Don't eat too fast," you were startled at his voice, watching fearfully as he sat down beside you, "You'll get indigestion."
You swallowed a spoonful, eyes widened slightly with fear as you felt his gaze on you.
"Look at me," he grabbed your chin with his thumb and forefinger, lifting your head to meet his eyes, "I love you so much. I don't like having to scare you with stuff like that, but I have to take care of you, and that includes getting you to eat. So what you need to do is listen to me when I tell you to do something." he paused, his eyes scanning your face, eyes darting down to your lips, "Understand?"
You nodded fearfully, letting him pull your face toward his and kiss your lips, his touch surprisingly gentle, before he pulled away.
"And hey," You went to turn your head away and continue eating, when his grip firmed up, rendering you unable to move, “don’t ever run away from me when I’m talking to you."

Dating Teddy Lobo HCs
Tumblr media
SFW He's very... passionate about relationship. I mean, he deeply engages in it. Teddy loves PDA and sometimes can be show off-y about your relation. He's "THAT'S MY WIFE" kind of guy. Despite it, he still cares if his mom accept you. He just really respects her but even if she doesn't approve of his choice, Teddy doesn't care. At the end of the day, you're more important than her opinion. Teddy takes you on a lot of dates, you usually spend time outside the home, in loud and crowded places. For example bar, clubs, amusement park, cinema, a lot of other clubs. He buys you new clothes. Even if you're not really into fashion, as part of the Lobo family you need to be dressed perfectly. Surprisingly, he is faithful. Unless you decide to have open relationship, he doesn't flirt with anybody else. Why would he need to? He already is happy with you. After some time Teddy proposes to you. Maybe he doesn't care about decency and societal norms, but as I mentioned he's very passionate and he wants to make you oficially his.
NSFW This man is a bottom and you can't convince me otherwise. He can play this bad boy, reckless killer outside but Teddy just waits to be dominated by someone. Ride him or sit on his face, he just loves the sight of you and feeling pinned to the bed. He grabs your ass or thighs and squeezes the soft flesh. Sometimes you may change the roles and you ask Teddy to fuck you in his family' torture room. He's a bit skeptical at first - not that he doesn't like the idea but he's afraid that somebody may catch you. And what would his mom say? But eventually the thought is too tempting (and after all he's a fucking Teddy Lobo, he can do whatever he wants) So he fucks you on the table in the torture room. The atmosphere is already interesting and depending on your kinks and pain tolerance, you may use a few tools... He may have a praise kink??? Just tell him how great he is, how much you love him, that everybody in the town is afraid of him... he need affection Good in aftercare... but usually he falls asleep right after the act. So be quick if you want something or you will need to wake him up. Very loud in the bedroom. Unless you get soundproof walls, everybody knows you're having sex because Teddy doesn't even try to hold back his moans. He likes to suck your nipples.

(18+!!)
okay, this is probably sooo random but i keep seeing ben shwartz posting with those stupid big ass cute ass adorable ass eyes so...
i can't help but imagine teddy lobo looking up at you all wide eyed, plump lips parted slightly. you look so breath taking in the moonlight that shines through the window in his room.
he's had to keep you a secret for the entirety you've been together, not sure if it'll be safe for you. he really does want to flaunt you around and brag, but with how many people want him and his family dead, he can't take the risk.
so for now, you both have to settle for meeting in secret. it's okay though, that just means you get to get intimate quite often.
you love making the big, bad, teddy fucking lobo crawl to you on his black satin sheets. he nuzzles against your neck, begging for your touch. he gazes at you hazily through misty puppy dog eyes as his head is wedged between your legs.
often, he'll beg to wear his wolf mask, claiming it'll be hot and he'll look so scary and dominant. he only asks to do that when you allow him to be on top, but not even five minutes into him wearing it he takes it off. not because it was too stuffy (which of course it would be, it's a mask) but because you complained you couldn't see his pretty eyes. his pretty, watery, dopey big eyes.
for a man who could seemingly have whatever or whoever he wants, it's surprising he's so willing to give you what you want and beg for your affection. but he does, and he loves it too (he'll just complain about it to seem tough). although, it's likely because he's never had anyone willingly give him love and attention. poor baby is touch starved and craves intimacy.
that's why he lets you dominate over him, giving him endless pleasure. letting him let his guard down and for once, feel vulnerable. it's why he looks at you with so much love -- those big, dumb eyes <3

~ Teddy Lobo headcanon's ~
Tumblr media
He's never had a partner. Bitchless for like thirty years, this poor man.
On top of never being in a relationship, he's a virgin.
I wrote a fic about this, but if you didn't see it, he has the whitest stomach. He can't handle TABASCO, it's that weak.
Not lactose intolerant (For a Ben Schwartz character, this is a valid thing to call a headcanon)
Knows how to make drinks but refuses to drink them. Unless it's purely for the escape, he won't drink. He hates the taste.
He also grew up making drinks for his mom, Buster Bluth style. Since he was a kid, if he was close, she'd make him make her drinks.
He's cis....but if he knew what bigender was..... (definitely a wittle bwit of a woman)
LOVES cartoons. Ducktales, TMNT, you name it. No one can know though. Especially Mandy.
Speaking of, he's jealous of Mandy. He wishes he was her (but deep, deep down he's glad he's not.)
He's the only one fully aware of his family's atrocities. His mom, sister, father... All delusional.

Ummm excuse me
Why is there like three teddy lobo fics on here!!???
Listen all I need is a fic where the reader is a cop and gets captured and tortured by Teddy lobo.
A part where they get out and hold a knife to his neck or something would be pretty killer too 😅

Danger Lurks
A/N: There's a significant lack (pretty much none) of Teddy Lobo x Reader from 2023 Renfield and since I'm fulfilling my own Renfield x Reader fics, I'm doing this for those hoomans who also wanted this but couldn't find it. (Such a good movie btw I've seen it like 4 times now) Nine google doc pages of this shit-
-Teddy Lobo x Reader
-Mentions of drugs, violence and the likes. Swearing. You're old enough to know what you can handle. This is your warning :) (also sui*ide :/.... it turned darker- sorry if you're triggered. this is your warning again)

_______________________
Teddy Lobo. Yeah. Him. Your boyfriend. The one currently ranting about some guy who killed a bunch of his men in Mulates the previous night. A sigh left you as you sat and listened patiently. It wasn’t like you had meant to get involved with a crime family. It just… happened. On a Thursday. A couple years back. It wasn’t worth the mental effort to think on how you had met with each detail in place. So you settled for the simple thought of it all. You were working. He walked in, you smiled at him while everyone looked away. You kept eye contact.
You didn’t look scared, and you didn't know who he was. He took you out a couple times, wined and dined you. Took you places. Treated you right. And then after mind-blowing sex, you met his mother at the breakfast table as she plotted with her son on the next drug deal. There was no out at that point. Plus, Teddy was quite a nice guy… past the killing and cocaine and stuff. So, you stayed. Which landed you here as he continued in disbelief at what had happened to a good number of his men. It wasn’t easy to believe what he told you he saw, but you had to at least try to believe.
It was a lot easier when he walked up to your chair and landed a kiss on your lips with a pleading expression,
“You have to fucking believe me, Y/N. We’re looking for the fucker right now and when we get him, you’re coming. It’s time you get out there with me. You’ve been staying behind with mother for too long. I’m better with you at my side. You know this, lovely.”
You sighed again and nodded, hands brushing over the stubble on his jaw,
“I know, Teddy. I’m just worried. I don’t want to see you get hurt. Or anyone else. It’s just not my  thing.”
He sighs in return and pulls you from your chair into a bear hug, his deep breathing calming you against his chest as you snuggled in. His hands stroked over your hair and you hummed while he let out a short chuckle at how cute you were.
“We’ll have the info by morning. I’ll wake you up an hour before we’re ready to go. There won't be many of us. I’ll keep you safe, lovely.”, his lips pressed against your head and you smiled into his chest, “Now go get some rest. I want you not to be groggy when we go get this dickhead. You’ll need to be alert.”
“Ok. Goodnight Teddy.”
“Goodnight lovely.”
He spun you out of his arms towards the stairs. You giggled and walked up them to the left towards your now shared room with Teddy. You could feel his gaze on you as you walked above him past the railings blocking the fairly large fall. Looking back at him, you smiled. He smiled back with love in his gaze. You felt it too. The love. You loved him. Unfortunately for you, Teddy felt a nagging in the back of his head about the upcoming events. And he didn’t like it one bit.
—--
The next morning you woke to an empty bed. It was normal, but it felt wrong today. The day just felt wrong. It made your eyes water as Teddy walked into the room looking down at a tablet as he grabbed a suit jacket from the closet.
“Teddy?”
He visibly jumped at your voice, his eyes searching you out immediately and noting the tears in your eyes. His panic was next. He hated it when you cried. All he wanted was for you to be happy around him and for you to be crying so openly, it was new. Off putting even. Especially for Teddy.
“Love? What’s wrong? Are you okay? Did you get hurt? Tell me what’s wrong.”
He rushed to the bed and held your trembling hands in his steady large ones as you looked at him sadly. Just shaking your head, you took your hands from his as he scanned you constantly for any visible wound.
“N-No I’m…”, your voice cracked and you took a steadying breath, holding Teddy’s hands again to calm him as well as yourself, “I’m okay. Just… today feels wrong. Maybe it’s just one of those days but something feels different and I’m scared. What if the feeling is right, Teddy? I don’t want anything to happen to you… to us… to anyone.”
His grip tightened on your hands as you spoke, his eyes softening further as he watched the tears make a path down your flushed face. You sighed shakily and watched him watch you. It was simple. But it calms you down enough to take a deep breath, loosen your hold on his poor hands and kiss him gently. The kiss was… as it always is, wonderful. His lips cushioned yours in the best way that you never thought possible before kissing Teddy Lobo. It took over the fear as his tongue swiped over your bottom lip, a small groan leaving him as you parted from the kiss.
“No no, come back. You should stay with me like that forever.”, he falls back onto the bed dramatically, his hand on his forehead as you giggle. “It’s heaven on earth. You can’t take that from me!”
You laugh loudly as you crawl on top of him, his hands resting on your hips as you place kisses around his face, “We have somewhere to be, don’t we? Maybe later, pony boy.”
You wheeze at the confused and nearly offended look on his face as you scramble from the bed, gathering your most Lobo coded outfit from the closet to rush into the ensuite bathroom and change before Teddy could fully recover and get you back with many, many tickles. His huffs reached your ears from the other side of the door as you tugged on the red leather jacket you had gotten for your birthday from Teddy a year back when he first asked you to go public with him. Properly.
Finishing the outfit with a spray of your favourite perfume, you step back into the bedroom to see Teddy waiting for you on the bed, his eyes trained on you immediately. A whistle filled the room as he clapped you into the room, his applause guiding your steps subconsciously. Placing your hands on his shoulders when you reached him, you played with hair at the nape of his neck, his smirk making you smile shyly as he looked you up and down a few times.
“Bout fucking time I see you wear this for me. Let’s make it count, lovely. Mother sent word for us to head down. The boys are ready. We have his location.”
You nodded with a sigh and pecked his lips, stepping towards the door and shaking off your hands. You were nervous. Sure you felt a little better but that feeling, that bad one, was still present and somehow got stronger as you loaded into the van with Teddy and a few of the Lobo troops. The drive was longer than you thought but also shorter than a trip to the costco somehow. You forgot to question it all as you pulled up to the very clearly abandoned hospital, pieces of the roof hanging off, boarded windows, broken windows, graffiti. It all screamed sketchy and abandoned. But Teddy was determined. So when he saw your hesitance standing in front of the tall building, he sighed and pulled you into his side with a gentle kiss to the top of your head.
“Just stay close. I’ve got you.”
You nodded not trusting your voice the moment you stepped into the building. The air was suffocating. Heavy. Musty. Definitely smelled like a place many people died in. That feeling you had increased ten-fold as you continued down the falling hallway, the roof and pipes clanging together and causing a few of the men to hit their heads on the way. Off-handed comments were made along the walk to find something, anything that indicated life, that the place must be haunted. The men made the typical ghost noises as they walked before stopping abruptly in what you assumed to be the reception or waiting room. It was open, large. Echoey. And you hated it more than the man who thought it would be funny to scare you into Teddy’s strong arms. You stayed away from that man for the rest of the walk. But now, standing in the entryway with Teddy as he spewed profanities, you wanted all the knowledge you were surrounded by capable people.
Glancing around and purposefully avoiding the hundreds of suspended blood bags, you counted each of the men with growing relief that there was no one else. You looked up at Teddy with worried eyes, his own angry ones softening at your fear. HIs large hand rubbed comforting circles into your back as he led you forward to search for this Renfield guy. He called out to his men once you reached a very rank smelling room, the flies making you cringe away from the room while Teddy looked inside.
“Ronnie, call my fucking mom. RIGHT NOW.”
His voice echoed as he shielded your eyes, walking back into the open space, his mom’s voice sounding from a discarded phone that you couldn’t see until Teddy dropped his hand from your eyes to pick it up and freak out. You glanced around again, the feeling back in stronger waves as Teddy grabbed your hand again, your own trembling in his grasp as he talked with his mom before a whooshing met your ears and you both glanced around in panic.
“Teddy- I don’t like this… Let’s just go.”, your frantic eyes met his and he frowned at the pure fear in your eyes before he glanced at something over your shoulder and froze. “Please, I don’t want to be here anymore. Can we find this Renfield guy another day? Baby...?”
Your pleading fell on deaf ears as he stared over your shoulder with a rapidly paling face. You froze in turn, hearing a dark chuckle over your shoulder. Your first instinct was to step further into Teddy, his arms wrapping around you as you slowly turned in his hold to see what caused him that much fear. Meeting the eyes of the man, you gasped. His lips curled in a smile, his pointed teeth clenched together as he watched you. You let out a shaky breath and tugged at Teddy’s arms to tell him to get you the fuck out of there. Teddy being Teddy guided you closer instead, your body falling further back into his solid frame as you were now at least a foot away from the strange man in a bedazzled suit blazer.
Teddy’s hand reached out holding his phone, pure confidence on his face until the man took the gap in security to dart a hand out with inhuman speed and grab you from Teddy’s hold, pulling you into his chest with a hand on your neck. You whimpered at his hold, eyes wide as you stared at Teddy, who waved his hands in panic, repeating “Woah” in an attempt at subduing the hold this man had on you.
“Look, we don’t want any trouble-”
“Who are you? You were sent by the church?”, his last word was dragged out with disgust and contempt.
“I’m a criminal! My organization is all about evil! We’re evil, okay?!”
“Why are you here?!”, the pale man growled as he jerked you back against him.
“We’re looking for this guy! I’m tryna find this guy! He meddled in our business and killed a bunch of our guys tryna save a bunch of innocent people.”
The phone held out in front of you showed the man, Renfield. The man holding you growled and tightened his hold on your neck, your own hands grasping at his pale appendage as you gasped at the increased pressure. You didn’t move more than that, too afraid of the claw-like nails on the man's hand to move more than you already dared. Teddy watched you carefully as the man laughed maniacally. The panic in Teddy was clear as he took an almost threatening step forward.
“Do you know who I am?! Who she is?!”
The guy holding you in a death grip tilted his head in confusion, a nearly mocking “Hmm?”, vibrating your back with his voice.
“I’m Teddy fucking Lobo and that’s my girlfriend!”
The strange man chuckled and lifted you above him after turning you to face him, his eyes meeting your widened ones as your legs kicked in the air, the lack of ground frightening you enough to struggle in his hold despite the claws so close to your neck.
“I am Count Dracula.”, the man's smile was back as he somehow lifted you higher, your face turning slightly red as you shook your head.
“You win!”, Teddy shouted as he watched you turn your head to look down at him, the desperation in his eyes so clear to you as the man who claimed he was Dracula brought you down enough to make eye contact with you directly.
“He is my servant.”, Dracula growled as you trembled in his hand, lips parted to take in more air than you could through your nose. Dracula’s eyes focused on the phone again, Teddy’s other hand shaking by his side.
“He doesn’t seem to be serving you very well.”, Teddy chuckled hesitantly as you glared back at him the best you could.
Dracula’s clawed hand set you on the ground, your back to his chest in a split second as Teddy stepped forward again. Your hands shook as you gripped the arm around your neck again, Dracula’s maniacal, almost hysterical laugh filling your head as you stared down Teddy with a mounting anger. The man's free hand shot out to grab the phone, the looped video of Renfield being stopped as the phone was crushed in his hand like it was nothing more than a piece of paper. You winced, pushing yourself against Dracula in fear before you realized and tried to move forwards, out of his harsh hold. Your attempt failed as Dracula grabbed you again and held you still against him forcefully, your forearm exposed as he twisted your arm around under his hold to drag a claw down the vein. You whimpered and shook, Teddy panicking further and reaching out to you with his shaking hands.
“Wait, no, no, no, no!”
“This crime family of yours, would it enjoy witnessing the beheading of it’s enemies and the impalement of all who oppose it?”, Dracula's claw traced up and down the vein in your arm, your hand shaking violently at the base of it.
One cut into it lengthwise and you would bleed out in 2 hours max. A horizontal cut would take multiple and even deeper ones, he would have to cut your vein clean in half to get you dead in that same time frame. It was still a frightening situation, having experienced his strength. The blood around his mouth and dripping down his chin didn’t help your fear.
“That's like- that’s like our w-whole thing, man.”, Teddy’s voice trembled as he tried to get you free from the man's hold without causing a fight or pain to you.
“And can the family raise me soldiers?”, Draculas’ tone was curious now, his claw stilling just above your wrist.
“We can… I can make a couple calls, yeah.”, Teddy almost had a smile on his face now from the turn the whole situation took.
“Whatever pain Renfield caused you, I will return 10, 000 fold.”, he said in a rumble, his claw returning to its original path with a small detour of your neck. “I will unleash an army of death whilst warming my skin next to mountains of burning corpses.”
The tone of his voice turned whimsical, like he was day-dreaming of the scenario. Teddy watched in concern and growing excitement that this guy seemed to want to hurt this Renfield guy as much as the Lobo’s.
“How does that sound to you?”, Dracula finished his speech while turning his fanged smile into your neck, his tongue tracing over your pulse point while he made eye contact with your lover.
Teddy took a steadying breath and released it with a groaned sigh, “It sounds… like you gotta meet my mom.”
You groaned as Dracula burst out laughing a few seconds later. Teddy laughed quietly with him, his eyes focused on you the whole time while you trembled. Dracula’s pure evil laughter got louder and Teddy nearly retreated in fear as he laughed a little more openly, concern growing at the rate the laughter from the other man was.
“Are you happy or are you gonna fuck us up?”, Teddy’s smile died as he spoke, Dracula laughing still.
His claw made a small cut on your arm as he reached out to Teddy who screamed as his laughter turned into an almost screamed laugh, Teddy’s scream turning into slight laughter as Dracula continued laughing with a hand now on your boyfriend's shoulder. You hissed at the residual sting, sliding from Dracula’s body to Teddy’s side as they laughed continuously until Dracula went stock still. His eyes were staring you down as you hid behind Teddy. You froze your tugging at Teddy’s sleeve in response, his eyes flashing with something before he ended up behind you both, hand trailing over your shoulder before he spun you and grabbed the arm he had sliced. You froze further somehow as he gazed into your eyes with an intensity while Teddy watched in disbelief as his tongue snaked out of his mouth to lick the small trail of blood from your arm.
“Can you not do that, man? She’s still my girl. You’re scaring her.”
Dracula met Teddy’s eyes with a growl as he dropped your arm, stepping back with a new expression of politeness. Almost like he had been conveniently forgetting that you were in a relationship with the same man who screamed moments before at a hand movement. He knew what he was doing though, he had too. He seemed too self aware to not know exactly what he was doing as he eye-fucked you while you cowered into your lovers body again.
“My apologies.”, He spoke with reverence that you could tell was a cover, but Teddy accepted it with a simple nod, leading you around the guy with a hand on your back and shoulder.
“We’ll be back in a few moments, we need to gather some more men to bring you to my mom.”
Dracula nodded and watched you go as you looked back at him one last time, hand rubbing over the small laceration he had made on your delicate skin.
—---
It was days later when this Renfield guy burst through the doors, Teddy’s mom standing beside you, her son on your other side, his hands crossed over his chest.
“Must be nice not having to be invited in.”
You blocked out the conversation from there, watching as the officer’s eyes scanned you with blatant interest, the conversation clearly shifting towards you as everyone looked your way.
“She’s merely a bystander. No harm has to come to her.”
Teddy’s voice had rung across the front room clearly, the two on the ground floor looking at you with increased interest as you shuffled behind Teddy to hide yourself from their searching gazes. Tugging at your newly acquired fiance's sleeve, you mumbled in his ear that you didn’t want to be out front with him, requesting that you go into the back with his mother. He refused, insisting that he could keep you safer while you were with him. You agreed reluctantly and grasped him by the waist as the conversation continued. You felt a pair of eyes on you the entire time but shrugged it off as a few men jumped the railing with increasing dramatics to fight this Renfield guy who now shared powers with a handful of the Lobo men.
The fight went quickly, Teddy realizing quickly that he may be better off sitting behind the scenes with his mother. You both jogged to the door before you heard a voice calling out to you both. Officer Quincy. You shook your head as you both turned, Teddy pulling his gold pistols from his pants in a threat. Hands reaching up to pull his arms down, you stepped in front of him to stop him. Muttering at him, you sighed. He was stubborn, you knew that but for him to be this stubborn at that particular moment irked you. So you reacted. Grabbing his guns from his hands, you saw his eyes narrow at you. Before you could think on it more, you turned to the railing and leapt over the edge, running for the door as he called after you in urgency.
Nothing stopped you as you booked it for the doors, Renfield’s carnage doing nothing to stop you as you nearly made it to the door before Teddy reached you. His hands grasped your arms as you panicked, hands trembling as his golden eyes looked into your own coloured ones. Dropping the guns, you burst into tears, hiding your face in his chest as his hands rubbed up and down your back to calm you.
“Hey, hey. Look, it’ll be okay. I promise. Let’s get you upstairs to mother and we’ll see each other soon, I promise. I won’t let you get hurt.”
You sighed, wiping your tears with shaky hands as he picked you up, carrying you through everything calmly, the destruction avoiding you narrowly as Renfield downed the last man. You tapped Teddy’s shoulder frantically as you noticed his advance, the cop approaching from the opposite direction as your tapping got more panicked. Teddy noticed quickly, his hands gripping you tighter despite setting you on the ground.
Being exposed more for any attack, you stood still with your back pressed against the chest that had been pressed against yours the night before. The officer quickly approached, Teddy acting quickly and snorting the centipede that had been crawling up and down his arm without you noticing. You cringed away from the sight, Teddy’s eyes flashing gold again as he gently pushed you to the side before he lunged at the officer. That left you completely exposed.
Renfield took advantage of the situation and pulled you into his hold like his master had done a night or so before. In a few moments, Renfield had you held on the balcony above, arm crossed over your throat as Teddy and the officer fought. It didn’t take long for Teddy to notice, his distraction enough for the officer to pull the shotgun on him and shoot him down. You gasped and fought the hold on you, your eyes stuck on your lover’s as he fell to his knees, bloodied wounds decorating his tattooed chest while you watched, unable to do anything but cry. Renfield took pity on you and let you go, your fist meeting his face before you raced past the murderer of your fiance to the man himself.
“Teddy! No, no, no no no nonono. You can’t leave me! We were gonna be together forever…”
His pained chuckle met your ears as tears fell from your pained eyes.
“Don’t you know who I am? I’m Teddy fucking Lobo and I’ll always be with you, lovely.”
Your head shook as you pressed frantically on his wounds, eyes scanning his face continuously as he just watched you, a single tear tracking down his face and meeting the small puddle of yours on the floor beneath him. You chuckled roughly, of course he would say that while dying. Footsteps drew your attention momentarily, the culprits sprinting to get to Dracula while you sat with the love of your life and talked him into the afterlife. You’d meet him there one day. You just hoped it would be sooner… seeing his pistols out of the corner of your eye, you nodded. You’d be with him soon.
As you held his pistol to your head, you laughed in pain,
“Teddy fucking Lobo... I’ll see you soon, baby.”

No-one Fucks With The Lobos - Chapter 27
This one might be the end. It might not. I'm going to go back and re-read everything, because believe it or not, I wrote this without a plan at all.
AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/48070186/chapters/127886374
Teddy was indeed a man of his word. He did fuck my brains dumb, and then he fed me, and then he took a hold of me in ways I didn’t think I’d ever been taken hold in. Of? See, I told you – he fucked me dumb. So dumb that I still apparently can’t form a full, coherent sentence.
The morning after was when Teddy relented. He woke me up with rather minty morning breath, and then – asking full consent before he did so – slipped his hand down my stomach and turned me right on again. He woke me slowly, with kisses everywhere he could reach before he rolled on top of me and slid himself into me easily… because of course, with the morning haze, I was fully prepared and ready for him. I must have fallen asleep again (or he’d knocked me clean out again), because I woke up a little while later to the smell of waffles, and the sound of plates clinking.
I made my way into the bathroom and took a shower already, then dressed comfortably for the day. I padded quietly through to the kitchen, and found that the double doors to the roof top terrasse were open. I felt a faint trickle of guilt slip down into my stomach. We hadn’t really used the roof terrasse after Teddy’s incident… but since Teddy had done something to me for months, I realised I couldn’t be sure of any single memory I had of him. So, I made my way out there, and found Teddy on the phone, surveying his empire.
“Sure. Call me when it’s done.” He passed a hand over his hair and sighed. A young woman in a cleaning-type apron was setting a breakfast out. Just two seats at the table overlooking Teddy’s little slice of the world which he controlled. I felt like baby Simba watching Mufasa work his kingdom. Everything the light touches is yours… well, I knew everything the light still shone on in my brain was mine… but for the rest? All shadowy dark areas I had no idea about at all. “I know, but I can’t be there today. I promised (Y/N) we could talk for a bit about stuff, and I don’t know how it’s gonna fucking go. I think you can handle a couple runners, Mack, come on.” Teddy put the phone down after a moment.
The woman gestured for me to sit.
“No habla inglese,” she said a little meekly. I nodded, and took a seat.
“Gracias,” I murmured. She smiled pleasantly, and when I continued in Spanish (albeit rudimentary Spanish), she broke into a full grin. “I don’t think we’ve met before. I’m (Y/N). I’m married to Teddy.” I had forgotten the Spanish for spouse.
“I know who you are.” She bowed her head. “Would you like some coffee? Or tea? I am just waiting for the hot food to cook.”
“Please,” I said. Teddy was watching me. “Have you worked for Teddy long?”
“Yes.” She picked up an insulated pot and poured me a cup of coffee. “Many years. But you were either sleeping, or out when I come to clean. I don’t speak English, you see, so Mr Lobo always asked me to come and clean when you were out.” She served me some berries, and some other fruits. I thanked her again. “But you were also sleeping a lot. So I did not disturb you.”
“Right…” I sipped my coffee. “What is your name?”
“Monica,” she smiled.
“Monica here is an absolute angel,” Teddy said, in near-perfect Spanish. But for the soft American twang he had when he spoke, I’d have thought he was Spanish. “She’s really done a lot for me over the years. She works hard, she’s reliable and trustworthy… and she’s an excellent cook, too. Always finds the best berries.” Teddy took a seat and helped himself to the berries.
“Gracias, Senor Lobo,” Monica smiled.
“How’re you feeling, beautiful?” He switched to English. Monica took it as her cue to leave us and check on the food.
“Oh, I’m beautiful now?” I asked, raising my eyebrows.
“You always were.”
“Funny. Yesterday morning, you couldn’t stand me being needy.”
“Because you were being fucking needy. Now you’re not. You’re all cute –“
“You mean you’ve finally had a decent fuck and you’re feeling benevolent.”
“Put those claws away, sweetheart.” Teddy’s eyes flashed annoyance, but like an adult dog with a puppy, he let it slide with a small warning. “Or I won’t be feeling so benevolent…”
“Got it.” I looked around as Teddy poured himself some coffee. “First thing I really want to know is whether you actually did nearly throw yourself off the roof that day.” Teddy looked at me as he took a sip.
“Well…” He sighed. “What do you remember?”
“I remember you were coming off the coke, and you climbed up on the railing and slipped, because it was raining. And I grabbed you and hauled you in.”
“Huh. Right.” He set his cup down. “Not entirely what happened. But I’ll get to that.”
“Go on, then.”
“Let’s wait for Monica to bring the food. Then I’ll tell you everything while we eat.”
Teddy
In a way, Teddy had been waiting for this day to come. The day that (Y/N) would finally crack that what had actually happened, versus that beautiful perception of an addled, swimming brain. And indeed, the two were not entirely joined together. In fact, there was a lot of stuff that (Y/N) remembered just plain wrongly, rather than slightly off. Teddy ate a little quicker than (Y/N), so he ate his fill, then replenished his coffee.
“I’ll start from the beginning, ‘kay?” (Y/N) gave a nod, eating quietly.
Teddy took a breath in, leaning back. He turned his phone on silent, and placed it into his pocket. He stretched, and got himself comfy.
“When we were in the restaurant that day, I was on an enforcement job. Run of the mill, you know? We were there, me and the lads, because the people running it hadn’t paid up in a while, and one of the lads thought there was a mole. And a couple days before, I found out that one of my guys was the cousin of one of the restaurant owners, and they’d been selling intel on us for a decent price, and then paying us to keep them safe. Meaning, keep their guy on the team. So I went over there to shake ‘em up a bit, and it got a little zany.
“I didn’t plan on kidnapping you, (Y/N). But when I saw you, I wanted to scare the shit out of you. But I also knew that, since I’d publicly killed your friend, and your body wouldn’t be found in the fray, that any rival gang would be out to get you. They’d be out for blood. Because you’d have seen things that day, and if the Sandersons had been selling info to more than one other family, they’d assume you knew shit. So, I had to keep you safe. But I also really wanted to break you down and make you part of our team. My mom and I understood that you were great at your job. Smart, clever, intelligent, and a good analyst. You would be very good on our team. But for that, we needed to turn you. I needed to turn you, honestly, mom wasn’t gonna do a fucking thing. But yeah. I know how to break people, and I did manage to break you pretty nicely.
“Once I had you wanting me, it was easy enough to start manipulating you. I put you on a light dosage of ketamine, to keep you a little pliable. I knew over the months – or weeks, I originally thought, but you didn’t fucking relent so it became months – I knew that you’d need higher doses, but I didn’t wanna have you addicted to it. So I kept your doses low, and sometimes skipped ‘em altogether. And in the end, you didn’t need any. I stopped dosing you completely recently.” He pressed his lips together, watching me eat for a second. “You didn’t make any moves to leave, aside from the fact that you thought my behaviour had changed outright. It hadn’t.” He took a moment to eat some of the food on his plate.
“Truth is, (Y/N), I wanted you for a shit long fucking time. And I wanted you on your knees and I wanted you to be yourself, your good little self... but those two together can’t exist. So I had to pick one. I wanted you to want me more than anything.” He drank some coffee and sat back, making it clear he wasn’t going to add anything further. (Y/N) watched him for a bit.
“I remember things from the past few months, Teddy,” (Y/N) said quietly, after a few tense moments of silence. “I have a lot of memories. Things that definitely happened to me.”
“Yeah.”
“So... alright. Fine. Let’s start with you coming off the coke.”
“Happened.” Teddy smiled. “You actually helped me with that.”
“Did I take the rest of it to your mom?”
“Yeah. You were a little out of it. But I was in a bad way with it. It’s addiction when you can’t fucking function without it… and my normal wasn’t fucking normal, was it?” he chuckled softly, shaking his head. “But you didn’t want me on it, so I got clean for you. And I got back to my old self.
“We went to see my mom when you were a little more lucid. I gave you slightly less. Gamble, by all means, but it paid off ‘cause you didn’t cause any shit, you know? You just kinda stood there and gave her the bag. You both spoke for a bit, and then I left because I realised I was crossing so many fucking lines I’d spent years drawing. And maybe this’ll answer another plot point for you, because you’d gotten way too fucking close for comfort with my professional life, too. Sure, your charity ideas were good – Villa Lobos for the dog shelter, and Loco Lobos for the youth centre have both taken off pretty well – but you were trying to pull me away from what I do best. Criminal activity. I fucking love being a criminal, (Y/N), and you were trying to stop me from doing that. So I faked a tantrum and left. I don’t know what you said to my mom properly, but when you came out… I was about ready to kill you.
“Speaking of killing you, I did also put you in the ICU. And I’ve never been more scared of losing something in my entire life. It was just after those jackasses had come in here and raped you into submission, and I lost my shit at them –“ he made a gesture with his hand “- and you told me I’d left you to them, as though I’d known there was a mole in the house who had keys to my apartment. I didn’t know, and it fucking hurt. But losing you hurt way, way more… I overstepped the line with it, (Y/N), and I spent so long there… Mom didn’t understand why I stayed by your say night and day, but I love you. Of course I stayed. I couldn’t imagine a life without you, not now.
“But going back to the original point… you learned a lot about my professional career, and I assume you thought you could make me only handle legal stuff. You learned a lot while you were pretty high, so I don’t know if you retained it or not… but at that point, I was dosing you up a little higher than before, just to keep you placid. You made a lot of notes, came up with your own ideas… it was incredible, really. I was proud. But I couldn’t justify giving up doing what I love doing. I love enforcing, (Y/N). I love watching people cower in pure fucking fear when I get ‘em on their fucking knees and stick a gun in their mouth. I love watching people piss and shit themselves… I love the rush of driving too fast through the streets. Get out the fucking way, or get fucking pancaked… I don’t care. People fear me and respect me, and that’s all I want out of life. I’m a simple person, at heart.” He gave (Y/N) a wolfish grin. “Just like my father.”
In truth, that’s all Teddy had ever wanted: to be just as powerful and great as his father. And if his mother would just step aside, he could have that. He could enjoy it, use the power to make New Orleans into something no-one in the states had ever seen before. He’d turned every single cop in the city onto his payroll. He had lines of import and export reaching the entire East Coast up to Canada, which was on his horizon as a new venture… but he’d needed someone like (Y/N) to be by his side for that. A partner (literally) in crime who could help him and who he could trust no matter what. Because a marriage usually meant both people trusted each other implicitly. And Teddy felt he could trust (Y/N). Especially now, after (Y/N) had made it clear there was no friendship with Quincy any more.
(Y/N) looked at Teddy with soft, gentle eyes.
“What about… the wedding? I remember that…” A tiny, barely there voice. Teddy felt a little bad.
“Yeah… it happened, baby.” He reached over and held his hand out. (Y/N) slid a soft palm into his. “It happened, and I’m fucking glad it did. But you were a little high. I still didn’t know if you’d accept me completely sober. After your performance with Quincy, I understand that you would have done.”
“You could have just asked me, Teddy.”
“And risk you saying no?” He smirked. (Y/N) coloured a little. “Look, I had my reasons for keeping you dosed up. Especially in the beginning. But… and maybe we need to address the issue of consent, too, actually. Because I might be a criminal, and I might hold no fucking value to human life… but I’m really not into fucking rape. No means no for me. Both ways. I say no to you, I fucking expect you to honour that. You say no to me, and I’ll honour that.” His face reflected the sincerity. “(Y/N), I can say honestly that I never took you against your will. You always wanted me. And I never touched you like that when I knew you were too out of it or high to make a full choice for yourself. A little buzzed? Sure, I’d take it. But there were times when you wanted me, and you were doped up, and I did nothing.”
(Y/N) stared at Teddy. Teddy said nothing.
“Right… right… okay…”
“I… I don’t know if that was an issue for you… but anything to do with our relationship… I’ve given you a full choice.” (Y/N) burst out laughing.
“You’ve just fucking said you kept me dosed up to make sure I didn’t fucking ditch you at the altar!” (Y/N) hissed, pushing back from the table. “How is that giving me a choice?!”
“Don’t – fucking spin out on me now!” Teddy growled. He stood. “Don’t. You could have said no, but you didn’t. I asked you when you were low dose –“
“I don’t give a fuck when you asked me! You said I had full choice – how was it full choice if I was coked up?!”
“You never fucking took cocaine!” Teddy hissed. He took a calming breath. “It was ketamine – look, (Y/N), if you fucking remember it, then it fucking happened that way. Alright?! Think about when you yelled at my mom for the coke. How does that memory sit?!” (Y/N) tried to remember, but couldn’t. Not fully. The memory was more like a loopy, woozy, drunk… thing… than anything else. But the wedding… that was clearer. Almost as though it was viewed through very tired eyes, but still - (Y/N) had a much more stable memory of it. Teddy held a hand up as (Y/N) backed off and sat back down.
“Right… and… and then… well… the only other thing I want to know about is the rooftop incident.” Teddy’s mouth twitched.
“Yeah… how… how exactly do you remember that?”
(Y/N)
As much as I hated to admit anything to myself, Teddy’s explanations made sense. But I had a much more stable memory of the rooftop incident, just a metre away from where we were sitting… and I remembered it well.
“Teddy?” I called, but no answer came. I felt a bit sick all of a sudden. “Teddy?”
Nothing.
I climbed up to the rooftop.
Teddy was sat on the railing.
Legs over the side the wrong fucking way.
SHIT.
The blueberries fell from my hand, rolling away.
He looked up at the sky, eyes closed. And he was swaying.
He was so, so close to falling. He slid a little, and startled, regaining his balance.
“TEDDY!”
It happened in slow motion, almost.
I don’t know if he slipped, or jumped. I don’t know if he was waiting for me to be there, or if I’d startled him. I don’t fucking know what happened, but I darted forward and grabbed him just as he slipped forwards. It took every single ounce of my strength to hold him in place – just hold him. My entire weight was back, I wasn’t even on my feet, I was just acting as a weight to keep Teddy from plunging down fuck knows how many floors to his death.
Because a fall like that would have pancaked him.
“Let me fucking go,” Teddy breathed, gripping my arms.
“Teddy - no -” I grappled back. He wasn’t trying to get away from me, though. He was holding me as much as I was holding him. I panicked. I fucking panicked. “Please - help me – fuck!” I felt him slipping. “TEDDY!”
“I can’t do it anymore, (Y/N),” Teddy said softly. “I’m... I can’t fucking do it... Just let me go... I fucking deserve to fucking die...”
“No - Teddy – please let’s talk about this!”
“You’re gonna fucking leave,” he whined.
“Teddy, I won’t leave – I promise you I won’t leave! I’m here to stay, Teddy! I choose you! I – fucking love you!” I held on for dear life. Teddy slid a little more, his legs flailing. I could feel his heart racing in his chest as he scrambled for purchase, a strangled cry leaving his throat.
Whatever depressive episode he’d just been through, the fog started to leave him as fear and adrenaline took over.
I managed to get my feet on the railing and, with the last of my strength, I pushed everything I had onto my feet. It worked. Teddy lifted up, and I felt backwards with him, both of us landing hard on the ground. I was winded, but he rolled off me and I pinned him down. I didn’t realise the tears that were pouring down my cheeks until Teddy swiped them away.
“I’m sorry,” he gasped. “I’m so sorry!” He trembled violently as he clung to me, and I to him, lying there on the wet decking of the terrasse. “I’m sorry - (Y/N) I’m sorry! I’m so fucking sorry!”
“It’s - no, Teddy, don’t apologise, baby boy, it’s alright,” I breathed, pushing my face into his chest. He gasped for breath, his chest heaving as a panic attack, and the terrorised realisation of what he’d almost just done, hit him like a train. And he started to sob properly, far deeper and more gut-wrenchingly than I’d ever seen anyone cry before. He held me, as the mist around us turned to rain.
If we’d waited just a few seconds more, he’d have slipped out of my grasp.
Teddy fucking Lobo would be dead.
How could I forget that? Teddy Lobo, plunging to his death?! Almost slipping from my grasp?! I wished I could show Teddy what I remembered.
“I… you were… on the railing,” I said softly. “And I just about stopped you from slipping.” I looked at him, my heart racing. The memory had that edge to it, that weird, loopy edge that made everything dance. But the parts that were clear… me, clinging to Teddy in the rain. Someone holding someone against a railing… the smell of him through the rain… the fear in his eyes… “You were sitting on the railing…”
“No, (Y/N).” Teddy took my hands. “You were on that railing. And I had to climb over to get you.” He stood and took me with him. What I saw knocked the breath from me. There was a ledge, easily accessible if you climbed over. And then, a sheer drop. Almost like an overhang. But there was enough room for someone to stand there comfortably without needing safety harnesses or whatever… And I could see scratches on some of the ledge where something had dug in. “You were there. Sitting right there, legs dangling over. I climbed over to get you, because it was raining, and honestly, if you’d fucking fallen, I’d have jumped after you. And I grabbed you and got you over the railing… but I slipped, climbing back over, and you wouldn’t let me go. I wasn’t in danger, and it was sweet… but you were so high. So fucking high. I couldn’t move you for a while. Every time I tried, you just seized up and melted, and I couldn’t drag you because when I fucking tried that, you let out this piercing fucking scream.” He held both of my hands tightly. “I fucking hate heights, (Y/N).”
I had to laugh. God, I had to fucking laugh. How could I not laugh? But Teddy waited patiently while my little episode passed.
“And I’m clean now?” A slow, sage nod. “Right…”
“And since you’re clean, I want to ask you if you want to stay here with me, and be mine… let me romance you and show you what I would have done if you’d been fucking normal, and not a good little cop… or if you want out.”
My heart stopped. I wanted out? If I wanted out? He couldn’t be serious… Teddy wouldn’t let me go…?
“I… out?” I asked.
“Yeah. I mean… I love you, (Y/N). And in my fantasies, when I first saw you… I wanted you to be mine just because you wanted me. I wanted to pick you up and charm you the good old-fashioned way. Dinner dates, fun reckless shit, then hot sex in the car…” He chuckled, stroking my cheek. “But you had to go and be a cop… and be a good cop at that.”
“I don’t know, Teddy…”
“Look. If I could do it over again, I’d probably try to win you over. But with Quincy and Chandler in your ears, I wouldn’t have stood a chance.”
“You’re right. You wouldn’t have done, because I found that fucking car hideous, and I hated the thing inside it.” I looked at him. See, the look he was giving me now… no-one but me got that look. And all the stable memories of Teddy, ones from before the drugs, they all had that look. Whenever I showed up on a crime scene, he’d give me that look as he drove away. Or if I saw him on the street, he’d give me that look… and he gave me that look when I first submitted to him. Because I remember that day vividly. The day I’d decided that he wasn’t so bad. That I was fighting for nothing.
A life with Teddy could be miles better than the life I had before him.
“Please tell me what you’re thinking,” he said softly. He took both my hands again.
“Alright…” I took a breath. “I’m thinking of my life before you took me. My run-down house with barely enough cash to foot the bills each month. Wondering if I was going to get killed every day. Wondering what would happen to my place if I couldn’t make the rent… listening to Rebecca go on about you as if you were the only thing left in the world to discuss. No hobbies, no real life outside of being a cop…” I sighed. “I looked back and kinda realise just how boring it all was. But with you, I can do something. I know I’ve said this before… but I can, can’t I? I can actually do the charity work. Open hospitals and schools… you’ll give me money for that sort of thing, right?” Teddy nodded. “And we’ve already set up Loco Lobos, we’re funding Villa Lobos…” more nodding. “I could have leisure time. A nice place to live. No stress over where my next meal is coming from at the end of the month…”
“Exactly.” Teddy’s voice was soft.
“And… and it wouldn’t matter that the money comes from dirty sources. Because you can always trace it back to dirty sources, no matter where it comes from…” I sighed. The world, I realised in that moment, was far bigger than me. And truly, fighting Teddy so abundantly every day wasn’t going to help me, or anyone else. Truly.
I know I’ve already come to this realisation… but something about the finality of this moment made it even more real.
I genuinely couldn’t do anything without the backing of an empire like the Lobo empire.
I was a single tiny pixel on a huge screen. If I went out, the screen would keep playing the picture. But if an entire empire went out, like the amount of pixels the Lobo empire must take up… well, that would do far more damage to the picture.
And then… then I had to ask myself if I could live without Teddy. If I could live in a city knowing Teddy could burn around the corner. I thought back to the months I’d spent as a cop, working against him. And I had to admit that there was a tiny little thrill deep inside me that made me hope Teddy would notice me. Perhaps that had once been some weird kind of sick desire to fight… but maybe I’d misinterpreted it. Maybe it was lust. The tattoos were my cup of coffee, for sure. As was his hair… his fashion choices were a little too ostentatious for me… but the rest of it? Teddy’s lifestyle? The power he held? The way he held himself, the way he… the way he just was. Could I live without that?
“So, (Y/N)?” he asked again. “Do you want to stay with me, or no? Do you want out?”
I swallowed.
“That all really depends,” I whispered. “Did I imagine the sex being as good as it was, or was it genuinely fucking mind-blowing?” I took a step forward, reached up, and kissed Teddy. He tasted like the fucking berries he’d eaten. Intoxicating raspberries and blueberries… the motherfucker.
“There’s only one way to find out, baby,” he purred.
“Then blow my fucking mind,” I grinned. Teddy picked me up and whisked me off to the bedroom.
Because of course I couldn’t leave. Not now. Not after all he’d put me through.
The old me was dead. Teddy had killed me and made room for the real me.
I couldn’t leave.
I am (Y/N) Lobo. And that’s who I was always meant to be.

Tumblr media
ship/pairing: Teddy Lobo x g/n!reader
fandom: Renfield
request: anon: pleasseeee teddy x gn reader fluff??? Post movie, renfield revives him and he's learning how to be a good person?? Xx
content warnings: ooc (probably), mentions of death/murder, idk how to write endings, swearing, teddy's insecure and an idiot, fluff, confessions of love, barely proofread
word count: 1357
A/N: i started and rewrote this three times cause i got so embarrassed thinking someone actually wants to read this and they specifically asked me to write it like ahh
When you’re dating Teddy Lobo, you say goodbye to most of the normal things in life. One thing being you never have to wait in line at the shops anymore. You don’t love the fact that it’s because half the people in the room are terrified of the Lobo’s and the other half are basically owned by the Lobo’s but what can you do? You could end the relationship, cut off all contact and start a relationship with someone not so dangerous and unpredictable. But your heart tends to speak louder than your brain some days.
Unfortunately, you had found yourself rather infatuated with Teddy. While he was rough around the edges, you really did love his company, and he had shown you that he loved yours. While engaging in romantic relationships with any member of the Lobo family - or any crime family for that matter - definitely isn’t the smartest thing to do, you can’t deny how happy you are with him.
You weren't expecting him to die... then be revived by the same person who killed him. Any-who, you postponed going to therapy and helped Teddy move into your apartment (since he was legally dead and that's kind of an issue when it comes to renting a place to live in). There really wasn't much difference to your relationship since you basically lived with him before. However your apartment had much space less than the Lobo mansion had. Teddy however? He was acting differently. You supposed that dying and being brought back to life would do that to someone. Though physically, he was the same - he still had the black slicked back hair he thought made him look badass, and the big brown puppy dog eyes that severely contrasted his supposed badass look. But when he spoke, he seemed more reserved and careful, like he was overthinking every word he said to you. It was almost unnerving hearing him talk to you for the first time since he had been brought back. His cocky, arrogant demeanour was there but so faint you could barely recognise it. He reminded you of how he acted when you first started dating
When he texted you for help, you assumed he was still an idiot - something not even death could change - and hurt himself or got into more trouble with the police. You weren't expecting this.
You rushed home to your now shared apartment, welcomed by Teddy's loud swearing from your bedroom. You make your way to him, and knock on the door, your ears picking up the sound of his voice muttering a string of curses in frustration.
”Teddy? It's me.”
“Fuck- one sec.” you hear him sigh. The door is pulled open and you’re met with Teddy. His hair is dishevelled and his face has a frustrated expression, but his face soon softens when he sees you.
"What'd you need help with?" you ask, and you can just make out the red hue on his cheeks.
“Uh…” he presses his lips together, before stepping out of the door frame. On the floor you see a pile of lego bricks, spread out in no particular order. The instructions are discarded off to the side, so you’re sure Teddy didn’t spare a glance at them. You walk further inside his room and inspect the lego further, seeing majority of the pieces resembling red flower petals.
"You're making lego flowers?" you see him nod his head, "Ok sure, why not…" you mutter, sitting cross legged in front of the pile of lego.
"So can you help me?"
You grab the instruction manual, “Yeah I’ve nothing better to do.”
Teddy follows you, sitting beside you on the floor. He leans toward you to see the instructions, but you know he’s not registering anything he’s reading. You don't think he's even reading.
"I'm guessing you didn't read these?" you ask, despite knowing the answer.
An exasperated and embarrassed sigh leaves his pink lips, "They were too confusing, they didn't help."
You can't help but laugh softly at his words. He looks at you, eyebrows furrowed slightly, "Teddy it's lego. You just add one piece to another piece."
He rolls his eyes, the corner of his lips turning upwards, "Don't act like I should be ashamed for being bad at lego."
"Oh, you should definitely be ashamed."
"Well if you're so good at lego then help me already."
"I am and I will." you smile at him before grabbing some bricks from the pile and putting them together as the instructions say. You see him looking at the lego in your hands so you make sure to make the flower slower than usual, hoping he'll pay attention and be able to make one on his own. In a matter of minutes, you're holding a completed lego flower. "One down, eleven more to go."
"Eleven?!" he almost whines as he holds his head in his hands.
You roll your eyes, "Don't be a baby, it won't take that long." you shuffle closer to him to give him a better view of the instructions, "Come on, let's both make these and we'll get it done quicker." You're certain he'll slow you down but you know it'll be more fun doing it with him.
He lifts his head away from his hands and hesitantly grabs some pieces that match the ones printed on the instructions. After quite a bit of struggling and rebuilding (somehow he managed to completely break the lego into pieces just when he was almost finished), he successfully put together some lego.
He rolls his eyes when you start applauding and pretending to tear up, "I feel like you're patronising me."
"I can't imagine why."
You almost don't want to finish this bouquet. You haven't been able to spend genuine quality time with him in a long time. And you're not complaining about how pretty he looks in the evening sunlight, his face screwed together in concentration. But surprisingly it doesn't take as much time as you thought it would. Teddy places the last piece onto the rose which he adds to the bouquet and lifts it up hesitantly.
"Do you feel accomplished?"
He thinks before answering (something you're still not used to), "No, not really."
"Great. So now what?" he just shrugs, staring intently at the bouquet. You stand up from the floor, "We should probably start making dinner."
“Wait,” he stands up, awkwardly looking down at the lego in his hands. He looks bashful as ever holding out the lego bouquet to you. “Fuck this is stupid. I wanted to make these for you, cause real flowers just die. And I wanted to thank you for still being with me and helping me through everything. You’re a beautiful fucking person who deserves flowers that don’t just die... I wanna be better than I used to be, and you're a big part of why. It took me literally dying to come to this, but I don't wanna die and not come back and leave you with a bunch of shitty memories of me being an asshole."
"You did this for me?" you can barely process his words as he places the lego in your hands, and his hands wrap around yours in the process.
"I-I know they're dumb, I just thought it would be cute and dumb." he sighs.
Your hands grip the lego tighter, your heart swelling, "It is cute Teddy. And I think you're really sweet for doing it. Even if I did most of the work."
"Can I make dinner for you? You won't need to help me at all, I promise."
You smile at him, "I'd love for you to make dinner for me." your hand reaches out to cup his cheek, "If you want to and not because you feel like you have to prove you're not an asshole." his eyes meet yours and his eyebrows knit together slightly, "I love you and whatever shitty memories you think I have of you being an asshole do not affect how much I love you."
He smiles at you, and you know it's a genuine smile, "I love you too."

So here is another of my reader stories, but this time it's with Teddy Lobo, because I've been developing a crush on him and I think he deserves all the love. :) I hope that some of you might appreciate this too. :D Enjoy. :)

You have been Rebecca Quincy’s new partner for a few months now, just moving from another city to join the local police force. Loyal to the law like no one around here has been for a long time, you and the young asian cop have stuck together in a world where everyone was on the side of the demons, until one day you’ve come face to face with the cutest little wolf that you’ve ever seen, and despite your reason you couldn’t help but follow your heart and join his pack.

just sittin and daydreamin about working at a restaurant owned by the lobos....
you're a server, recently hired after finishing school. you take the job, knowing the restaurant is owned by the infamous lobo family ...but the job scene is rOUGH and you need money
it isn't until a month after working that you meet the smug spawn of satan himself, teddy lobo. he's sat back in a booth with his mother, the two surrounded by security guards. he sips on a martini and watches you as you hustle and bustle among your tables.
he eyes the way your chest fills your nice work shirt and he admires how well your black slacks move with each step you take. he whistles for your attention and you stop in front of his table, panting due to the hectic dinner rush.
he just stares at you for a moment, his mother knowing full well why he's called you over. she excuses herself to go chat with a table nearby.
he reads your name tag and says your name with a smirk.
"what's a cute thing like you doing in a place like this?"
"working" you say half-nervous half-irritated. you know how much of a douchebag teddy lobo can be and all you want is to be far away from him.
"funny", he lightly chuckles. "well, why are you working when you should be sitting here with me, having a drink."
"you know i can't-"
"my father's name is on this restaurant, meaning i own it by proxy. so i'm the boss -- i make the rules."
"i...i don't know...i don't wanna get in trouble..."
"baby, you'll only get in trouble if you don't come over here."
you have to bite back a grin due to finding teddy's confidence cringey. he's like a little yappy dog, not knowing when to shut up and stay still despite the fact that a gust of wind could knock him over
next thing you know, you're sat right next to him, his arm slung over the back of the booth. he's telling you about how you're too beautiful to be stuck working for minimum wage
"if you need money, just ask me. if you need anything, just ask me. someone like you needs someone like me to take care of you", he whispers in your ear.
your face heats up and you think about it. is quitting your job worth getting involved with teddy? sure you hate working, everyone does, but...the money isn't going to be given to you without a price
"well, what will i have to do in return?"
he chuckles and nuzzles your cheek with his nose
"just be near me, like arm candy, and i'll get you whatever you want. i need you in my life"
so it's a trophy he wants, someone to flash around along with all his gaudy jewelry and drugs.
you take a sip of your drink before sighing
can you actually be teddy lobo's trophy?

I like Nicholas Hoult and I like Ben Schwartz. Is it too much to ask for a Renfield fic where Teddy and Robert are in love with the same person to create the typical love triangle?

Drabble | Teddy Lobo x Reader
Just a random thing me and @broccolithebunni had been talking about. Teddy's an idiot /pos.
TW: Food, mentions of choking, not being able to pair the proper wine with food, excessive use of the word 'fuck'
Being associated with the Lobo's was still something you were getting used to. Before, people would treat you like anyone else, not even turning their heads if you walked into a room. Now, it was pure association that seemed to have everyone desperate to never anger you. And that was when you were on your own. And it was nothing compared to how they treated you with him.
Tonight he insisted on treating you for dinner, telling you to pick any restaurant. You should know by now that nothing can be lowkey with Teddy, but part of you hoped the two of you would just sit down and enjoy dinner.
That dream was of course crushed the moment you approached your favorite cajun place. Teddy always made comments about owning the town, and you knew he was talking about fear, but part of you was beginning to believe maybe he legitimately owns New Orleans, because as soon as you walked in, everyone sat up straight. A waiter took your orders and gave them to you as soon as humanly possible. With the take out (that you're not even sure they normally have), you both headed to your place.
Now, about twenty minutes later, you were watching with disgust as Teddy attempts to crack a crawfish with his teeth, like a dog on a chew toy. The occasional, "Fuck," is heard before he checks if his tooth is still in his mouth. You wait until he gives up before sliding over a plate of peeled crawfish, waiting to walk him through how to eat it. "You done?" You ask, smiling at him.
He looks over at you with his signature wide-eyes before slowly putting the mangled crawfish down, blushing as he tried to stammer out an excuse.
"How'd you fucking do all that?" He points to the plate between the two of you.
"Twist the head and separate it-" "Nope, no, ew. Okay, how do you eat it?" He picks one up, inspecting it suspiciously.
"Squeeze the tail right here," You demonstrate by holding one up and pitching the fan-shaped part of the tail, sucking the meat out of the body. He stares at you, raising his eyebrows.
"That's so fucking gross," He laughs.
You roll your eyes at his hypocrisy, "Just eat." He nods, looking down at the crustation in hand before copying what you did. You smile, proud that he could finally do something on his own. Then he begins violently coughing, and your smile drops.
"Teddy, are you okay?" You ask, looking for any signs of choking. He seemed fine, just really red in the face.
"You didn't say it was spicy!" He gags, chugging the red wine he's been drinking. You leaned back, lowering your brows in confusion.
"It's not spicy at all. It's, like, the opposite of that, actually."
"Mhm, sure," He finishes his wine, waiting a moment to see if the burning in his mouth dissipated at all, "Fuck, man."
"Come here, let's get you some water," You offer a pitiful smile, standing up with him and walking into the kitchen, holding his hand like a hurt child.
As soon as he got the water, he chugged it as fast as he could. You watched his Adam's Apple bob, wrinkling your eyebrows. How has he even lived this long?
In one swift movement, he slammed the glass down on the counter, "Fuckkkk me…"
He panted, staring at the floor. You just nodded your head, genuinely concerned for him.
"Do you want to get something else to eat?" You tilted your head until he met your eyes. "Yeah," He responded, flustered and embarrassed, "Sorry I ruined dinner, but next time, I'm choosing," He placed a kiss on your lips, an apology for the whole night, before shoving you away.
"What?!"
"I forgot you just fucking ate!" He cried, refilling his glass. Done lol

Watched Renfield recently and couldn't get Tedward 'Teddy' Lobo out of my mind until I wrote a 2,528 word fanfiction about him!
Warnings: Drug use, recreational drug use, excessive swearing, mentions of gang violence, dirty talk, eating, sexual activity, and possibly a few more I might be forgetting.
Summary: When Bellafrancesca Lobo told her son to "take out" the heir to a rival crime family, she almost certainly didn't mean THIS.
