Giyuu’s injuries weren’t worse than normal, but that didn’t stop you from fretting over him – especially when he had a gash on his cheek, the same cheek you kissed a week ago when he was leaving for his mission. It made your chest feel tight to see his pretty face marred by demons. Your grandmother was surely rolling in her grave that such a classical beauty was hurt, the thought spurred you on to care for him.
No detail went unnoticed under your eye. He seemed tired, as usual, and a little stressed, as usual too - just a regular morning after slaying demons.
You sat him down at a western style dining table with a medical kit and supplies to clean the cuts with next to you. Your hands shook slightly when the damp cloth wiped away grime and blood, your lips pressed together when a fresh drop of blood oozed from the wound.
“You need to be more careful,” you murmured as you worked, the statement automatic, thoughtless.
Giyuu’s whole body stiffened. “Or what?”
You froze in place, your hand dipping the cloth in warm water. This was a new tone of his – a new way words could cut you if he wanted you to hurt: it was rough, serrated, mean. “What?”
He rolled his shoulders back a little, rearing for a fight. “You heard me the first time.”
You clenched your hand, leaving the rag in the water, and turned to fully face him. “Why are you so defensive? I meant no harm,” you replied, trying to calm the storm before it fully set in.
He stood abruptly, nearly knocking the chair he had sat in over. The look he shot you sent your heart galloping in your chest, from fear or indignation, you didn’t know. “You’ve done enough. Leave me be.”
Did he like you like this? Was the hurt in your eyes enough? That was – did he like the way it glinted, the way it caught the light? Hours upon hours spent on making your suffering pretty, and perhaps now it would pay off. He could cut you down into something pretty if he wanted to, and maybe you would let him.
Before he could walk away, before he could twist the rusty blade, you rose from your seat, “I have done nothing to warrant this tone with me, Tomioka Giyuu. Now tell me-“
"Stop bothering me," he cut you off, heading towards the door.
A violent whirlpool of emotion threatened to drown you, and for once, you let go. “You- you oaf! I can’t stand you being like this! What’s wrong?”
“Nothing is wrong. Everything is perfect,” he snapped, voice like a viper and words just as stinging. “Or at least it would be if I didn’t have you nagging me every time. I’ve been through this enough to know what to do with myself. Unlike you who sits here all pretty and safe and fat, ready to wrap a bandage and call it a day.”
You flinched, for the first time in your husband’s presence, tears springing from your eyes, which you rapidly blinked away. What have I ever done to deserve this? You had waited on your hands and knees for this man every time he’d come home battered and bruised and broken and put him back together, without complaining, with love. This was what you got in return for your devotion? Pretty and useless. That’s what he basically called you.
Your throat tightened. You hardly had the energy to respond so you turned away and just… left. You couldn’t continue listening to Giyuu when he sounded so much like… like Shinazugawa. Whatever was bothering him best be left alone to cool off before you could talk about it.
You nodded to yourself as you packed an overnight bag. Some time apart would be good for you both. You knew he wouldn’t be sent out on a mission for a few days again, since he just returned from a longer stint, so you would come back tomorrow and try to resolve it then.
It was time for a check-up with a midwife anyway.
Tumblr media
He had really said all that.
And you left.
Your eyes filled with tears, and you left, as you should. He had treated you like garbage.
There was no going back, no taking back his idiocy, no swallowing back his words.
‘Let's stop fighting’ was at the tip of his tongue. ‘Come here and let me hug you’ nearly spilled from his lips. ‘I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry’ choked him up as you walked away.
He knew you were right. You did nothing wrong.
He felt nothing.
He was worth nothing.
Giyuu picked up the shards of his heart up and finished cleaning up his wounds. A short bath later, he walked into the kitchen to find food already made for him, now long gone cold. It just reminded him how much he butchered his relationship by what – stress and tiredness? A demon taunting him right before its death? If so little shook him up, did he even deserve to be with you?
A sharp pain pierced his heart at the thought of leaving you. His selfishness truly knew no bounds, hurting you and putting you in danger for being a Hashira’s partner yet wanting you to remain by his side.
After eating his portion, he made tea and waited to see if you would join him. There was no movement in the house at all; were you in your shared bedroom, laying in bed as you were used to when upset? He would give you time to cool off, give himself time to breathe, and then he would approach you with a clearer head. He needed to apologize.
One hour. Two hours.
Had he angered you so much that you wouldn’t come out? Your spats had never lasted this long.
The tea had long grown cold, but Giyuu couldn’t bring himself to make more. There were no sounds coming from the house.
Were you even here?
The thought jolted him from his seat, quickly walking to your shared bedroom.
“Love?”
Nothing.
“I’m coming in.”
He somehow expected it, though he’d hoped against it. You weren’t there.
Already turning to check all other rooms, he called out your name. His pace was brisk, his throat starting to clog up with a familiar emotion. Claws of anxiety sunk into his stomach, his heart beat like a drum, his lungs struggled to take in air. You weren’t there.
Where were you?
He ran through the whole estate and back two times but came up with no clue as to where you were. Panic mounted, crawling up his spine like a spider he couldn’t shake away.
Giyuu slammed the gate of his home open, very nearly running into his elderly neighbour.
She was hardly phased, though confused by his frazzled visage. “Tomioka-san? What’s got you in such a hurry, young boy?”
“Have you seen my wife?!” he’d never been as rude as he was now, but you were gone so what was he supposed to do?
“Your wife? Oh, that’s right, I saw her. If I recall, she was on her visit… hmm, who was she going to visit?” his neighbour mused. Giyuu waited with all the patience Urokodaki beat into him, that was – quite impatiently. “Oh right! A midwife! I was very surprised when-“
He stopped listening, or rather, he stopped hearing anything going on around him. A midwife? A midwife was a profession with a very specific set of skills for a very specific group of people… Did that mean-?
“Isotani-san,” Giyuu interrupted, breathless, eyes wide with surprise. “Are you saying my wife is pregnant?”
She squinted at him, “You didn’t know?”
It felt as if lightning came from clear skies and struck him. Every nerve itched with some kind of energy telling him to move.
He later vaguely remembered asking his neighbour for the direction you left in, but at the time, he saw nothing, and felt everything all at once.
Were you going to… terminate it? Were you going to tell the midwife, and would she terminate it? Was the midwife going to terminate it and help you move on? Would you move on without him?
Thoughts racing, heart galloping, Giyuu felt feverish. He stumbled back, deaf to his neighbour’s concerned questions as he turned the way you had left just hours ago. One foot in front of the other, a step by step, getting faster with each meter he passed until he was running nearly as fast as Uzui, desperation spurring him on.
Kanzaburo flew overhead, and when he cleared the village bounds, he called out to get the crow to lead him to you.
Time was of the essence. He may have botched his life, but he was too selfish to let go of you. He wanted, no- needed to get you back. You were his love, his soul, his home. He wouldn’t be able to go on if you left.
He felt crazed, desperate, as he ran.
Giyuu would have been faster had he not have to follow Kanzaburo but he wouldn’t be able to find you alone. He felt as if he was racing against the time. Any minute now, you would be in a the midwife’s home, waiting for the release from his clutches; any second now, you would sever the only tactile link you had to him – your baby.
His baby.
He swore, his mind supplementing him with your argument. It had been all his fault, he’d just lashed out because of nothing, like a toddler throwing a tantrum. How childish he’d been – and he was supposed to be a father? No, he wanted to be a father. He’d fix himself and he’d support you and he’d even carry you your whole pregnancy, so you didn’t have to walk. He’d learn to cook more than the basics to feed you and your baby.
Please, let me be in time.
Then he saw you.
The whole world seemingly froze, grey and empty save for you.
You were a pearl amongst rocks, still as beautiful as the first day he saw you, as beautiful as you were on your wedding day.
Giyuu didn’t stop, even as you turned to him in surprise when he called your name. He didn’t stop until he had you in a soul-crushing hug, tight and near bruising – one he immediately eased up on, since he didn’t want to hurt you.
“Calm down, Giyuu! What’s going on?”
“D-don’t-“ he stumbled over his words, still frantic and breathing heavily, “don’t get rid of it!”
You were confused, “Get rid of what?”
His hands were heavy clutching onto your clothes, his frame nearly hanging onto you. “Our – our child,” he gasped out. “Isotani-san told me you were- she told me you were pregnant.” His words came out in a rush, eyes wide as he stared at you, his pupils darted all over your face for a sign of – of anything, be it forgiveness, anger, sadness, anything.
Looking at him in such a state, near quivering in his spot, you felt powerful. Giyuu was at your mercy for once. You could topple him as easily as a sandcastle, crush him under your boot and grind down to juice him of all that made him who he was. It made you realize you held just as much power over him as he did over you. Oddly, you felt reassured - of his love, of your love, of the relationship.
Heart hammering in your chest, cheeks filling with warmth, the adoration you carried in your heart spilled over and pooled in your stomach. You hungered for more of this power, positively starved to sink your teeth into him and drain him.
But that could wait.
“I am indeed pregnant,” you confirmed, your hands resting on his arms, thumbs stroking soothing lines over his muscles. You paused, letting the seconds painfully stretch out, “I’m not terminating the pregnancy.”
His whole being sagged with relief. Giyuu fell to his knees in slow motion, his hands sliding down your yukata to rest over your hips, now clutching the fabric there with a weak grip. “Thank gods…” he rasped out, his breathing stuttered as if holding back sobs. “Please, love, let’s not- I apologize – I apologize for everything. I shouldn’t have lashed out. I was wrong…”
His impossibly blue eyes met yours, the surface glistening with unshed tears, his guilt bitter but his plea tasting sweet on your tongue. Saliva gathered in your mouth, wanting more.
Did that make you a bad person?
“You dismissed my concern,” you stated, fighting back any expression wanting to take over your face. “You said I nag you. You called me useless.” And pretty, your mind supplied. He’d also called you fat, so there was that. “I didn’t deserve that.”
Giyuu’s lips were downturned, “You didn’t. I was an oaf.” His admission did nothing to soothe the ache he’d given you. “I’m willing to take whatever punishment you deem worthy of my misdeeds.” He let go of your yukata, smoothing over the wrinkles he made. He didn’t know what to do with himself, trying not to fidget as you rolled his actions and words in your mind.
“There will be no punishment,” you told him. If possible, he became even more tense, the need for absolution great. Perhaps no punishment would be a punishment of itself. “But don’t think you’re entirely forgiven. I accept your apology; you however have to make up for it your own way.” You studied his earnest expression, brows slightly furrowed as he started thinking about ways to win you back. It shouldn’t be too hard. He did it once, he could do it again.
Giyuu slowly stood up, taking your hands in his. “I won’t disappoint you, love,” he said resolutely, kissing your fingertips softly. He adored you, with his whole heart, mind and body.
Everything would work out – just like the ice always melts and clouds disperse, a typhoon passes and the sea calms.
“If you pull this act again, I’m leaving.” You glared at him for a second to get your point across. Giyuu nodded and pulled you in for a sweet kiss.
He almost lost you and he wouldn’t make the same mistake again.

Tide of Reunion
Tumblr media
Giyuu Tomioka x Fiancée!Reader
The moon shone tenderly amid the forest's evergreen trees. A night of longing and drive, as the wind howled gently. Soft clouds form along the starry sky, capturing a visual impression.
Your shared home, in which you resided with Giyuu, was nestled among the seemingly unending woods. Your home is constructed with large woodwork, layered with a sloping roof.
The exterior doors were adorned with translucent paper, creating a serene atmosphere.
You lie calmly, asleep within the futon, a comfortable warm within. You are surrounded by poetically painted scrolls on the walls and tatami mat floor surfaces.
Tumblr media
It had been overly long since your fiancée slept beside. He was hauled along strings of responsibilities, leaving you confined to your own presence. Though he hadn't written, he had on occasion sent you the plucked marvels of flowers he came across, indicating to you that you'd very much lingered in his mind.
Laying within the warm, padded material, your mind trailed aimlessly.You slept tranquilly, pondering on what your partner could be doing at this very moment. As your chest lifted and fell delicately, the foyer doors slid open.
It was promptly followed by the familiar ring of footsteps. They tread particularly lightly, preventing from grumbling a disturbance. It creeps across the hallway until it settles behind your door. You were yet to stir, as you continued to aspire, your mind venturing through absurd existences.
Careful hands lightly nudge the door wide before promptly closing. A wave of soothing lavender and rosemary aromas caress your senses with ardor. Deep, azure eyes glare at you fondly, as if not more relieved to see you. Despite his excessive thrills, he did not awaken you so suddenly, instead carefully undressing himself from his own uniform, leaving him bare.
He swiftly clothes himself in loose robes, carefully trailing to the futon in which you laid in. He lies beside you, pressing his palm against the side of your cheek. He relished the warmth of your skin, caressing it with his thumb.
You felt his familiar touch and gradually awoke. Your tired gaze moved to your tranquil spouse, who had held you with boundless tenderness.
You smile lazily at him, shifting closer.
“Giyuu…”, you whisper, your mind steadily attempting to recognise the scene.
“I didn’t mean to stir you...”, Tomioka replied dismissively.
You did not care for him awakening you, instead overly glad to see your partner be beside you once more. You retort his touch, placing your own hand to his face, and watch him longingly. You move in, gently laying your lips on his after so long.
Giyuu embraced quickly, amiably reciprocating your kiss. He was exceedingly sweet, overcome with the relief of finally resting alongside the one he cherished most. He felt his heart gradually pummel harshly.
He moves atop of you, needing to hold your body closer. You wrap your arms around his sturdy neck, continuing the passionate display.  His breathing rolls heavily from his lips, consumed by passion.
He misses your warmth. Your scent. Your embrace.
He'd spent so long beneath frigid, lonely sheets. Exhausting his body to its very core for those around him. Weary and miserable.
He needed you desperately. More than he had needed oxygen.
His soothing hands caress your thigh, tenderly pushing your gown up.
"Can I?" he asks, ensuring you felt safe.
You nod, permitting his entry. His fingers travel over your thighs, to your very clit. His slender fingers trail along your slit, leisurely gathering slick. Filthy noises echo as his digits continuously glide.
Your hands maneuver along his back, as you whine delicately against him. Starved so long from his touch, you were greedy. Endlessly greedy.
You prompted your thighs against his waist, suggesting a desire for more, much more. He groans and sits up, grasping the opposing sides of your thighs. You could feel his impending love, grazing against your sex. It pulsed and twitched, longingly to be embedded within your warmth.
With a gentle push, he softly slides himself within you. He almost falls forward, releasing a pleasurable gasp. Your inner-walls grasped at him intently, almost hindering his movement. He pants, attempting to consolidate his thoughts into one.
With a sharp inhale, he carefully begins to roll his hips into you. Sensual, soft movements, disinterested in forcing himself from your comfort. Though you provided unending pleasure, all he longed for was to be with you again. Feel your connection. Your intimacy.
And you pleaded for it too. You cup his cheek, coaxing him to come closer. To hear his sighs of pleasure, to feel his pulse of ecstasy. And he does. He lowers his face inches from you and kisses you. He continuously assures of how much he loves you. Adored you. Treasured you.
Over and over, lips graced along each other, momentarily separated for breath, before rekindling again in a moment of euphoria.
“Soft… so soft.”, he babbled, prompting his lips to the tender skin of your neck.
Your fingers glide to his back, caressing gently. Muscled and firm. Your unexpected touch had driven him to tilt his head back in delight, overwhelmed. Even your smallest details would strike him deeply.
His shaft endlessly pumping within you, a lewdful display. He was overcome with love, whining pleasurable groans into the air. And you followed. This was marvelling. He was only angelic.
Your cunt flutters tenderly around him as he repeatedly pleases you, driving you to squirm deep inside.
He felt himself to finish soon, a surge of bliss rising within him. His thrusts grew briefly clumsy and hasty.
Pushing him towards his impending climax, you whine thoughtlessly.
“I love you, Tomioka!”
And it finishes him.
With a harsh push, his cock spurts ropes of love within you. Buried into you, he plunges every ounce of his desire deeply to you. The air is coated thickly with your unending affections for the other.
So long without each other's love, there was not a greater peace than this moment.
With hasty and drowsy eyes, he lies in the same position, unconcerned with pulling himself away from you. He was quick to drift to slumber, resting against your breast. Your fingers caught in his dark hair, you felt yourself submerged in the soft seas of paradise.

Baby Blues
Giyū Tomioka x afab!Reader
Word Count: 1,2k
Ao3
Warning: mentions of pregnancy
Summary: You are pregnant and yet to tell your husband.
Tumblr media
Your husband Tomioka Giyū had always been a stoic and reserved individual, a man who wore his heart on his sleeve but never dared to show it to anyone, anyone but you, that is. Behind his gorgeous blue eyes lay more sorrow than you could understand on some days, self-doubts you were always there to reassure him of were not true and a heart deserving of more love than he could ever imagine.
It was only natural that you did not want to cause your husband any more worry. You loved him dearly, after all, and only wanted what you thought was best for Giyū. With the two of you having gotten married some time ago, you thought that your husband had enough to worry about as is, but with a child on the way, his stress would only increase.
Right, a child. You had almost forgotten already. The reason why your own worries were gnawing at your nerves in the first place, tugging at your heartstrings as you mulled over the many different ways your situation could turn out.
You were pregnant and had yet to tell your husband.
In the romance novels you have read during your serene time alone, the part where the wife informed her husband of her pregnancy always seemed to happen so smoothly. The women in the novels always knew what to say, never stumbled over their words or emotions as they delivered the news. What followed were bellows of joy, many kisses and a celebration of the new life beginning, a new future starting.
When the characters written on the pages did it, it seemed so easy. But you weren’t a character on said pages, you were a woman living during times when your life could be cut short so quickly. There was no author writing your perfect little romance and happy ending, you had to fight for your own happy ending, for your own survival. Your fate was not planned out bit by bit, it was yet to be decided, and that scared you deeply.
How would Giyū react to the news?
You liked to think that you knew your husband very well, you wouldn’t have gotten married to him if you didn’t. The foundation to a healthy and successful marriage was trust, knowledge, and above all: love (or so you had been taught). And you also knew that your husband loved you very much, there was no doubt there that he did.
Giyū was not a man to proclaim his love in over-the-top ways by screaming it out to the world, by letting it be known by anyone and everyone. His love was quiet and reserved, just like he was. His kisses were gentle and soft, but filled with so much emotion as he pulled your body flush to his, heat rising to his pale cheeks.
You loved him as much as he loved you, and the other way around. And yet, you couldn’t predict his reaction. Would he be excited? Joyful? Or scared and fester his doubts in quiet, not daring to share them with you unless you begged him to do so, your own worries about him consuming you?
No matter how many sleepless nights you spent thinking about the possible outcomes, feeling his warm body pressed to yours, his strong arms pulling you close and holding onto you tightly, you still didn’t know which outcome was the most probable.
For the first time ever since the two of you got married, you felt like you didn’t know your husband. In your decision-making, you felt so … alone. You had been so used to making decisions alongside your dear husband, consulting him the same way he consulted you, that making such a tough decision was anything but easy for you.
And it didn’t help either that the front door swung open as you were sitting on the ebony rocking chair in the living room, too deep into your doubts and mindlessly pulling at the strings of the ruby-red scarf you wanted to fix. In the doorway stood Giyū, looking battered from his latest mission, as he took off his shoes and outside gear before greeting you.
As soon as he got a good look at you, however, he stopped completely. You seemed nervous and fidgety, not anything like the woman he had married. Around your fingers, the red thread wandered and Giyū watched with curiosity in his gaze as you pulled at the already ripped scarf more and more, pulling it apart at the seams.
Your behaviour was unlike you, Giyū thought, noting how you didn’t even greet him back, as you always did. One look at you was enough to determine that something was wrong.
“Did something happen, darling?”
Your head snapped up to look at him, obviously startled by his question. “Giyū- I-” You breathed in, doing your best at calming your racing heart. “No, no, everything is fine. I’m fine.”
His brows knit into a furrow. He stepped closer to you, his blue eyes raking over your body to check for any injuries. “Are you sure that everything is okay?”
He clearly knew you too well, because when you shook your head, Giyū did not show signs of surprise.
You couldn’t keep this a secret any longer, it wasn’t fair to you or Giyū. Worry shone in his eyes as he looked at you, the thing you so desperately tried to keep away from him.
So, you took a deep breath and said, “There’s something I have to tell you,” You could see his concern for you grow and his posture tense up, the man before you suck in a breath. His heart rate quickened as he anticipated your answer, a million possibilities running through his mind. With your voice barely above a whisper, you continued, “I’m pregnant.”
Your husband had always been a man of few words, but as he stood opposite you completely speechless, your worries only increased.
“Giyū?” Your voice came out as a cry, tears welling up in your eyes. Abruptly, you stood up from the chair, allowing the scarf to drop to your feet. “Say something, please!”
Giyū was stunned, his mouth hanging slightly open, but no words coming out. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing, and for a short moment, he doubted that he had understood you correctly. Joy, excitement, fear and uncertainty flooded through him, he felt overwhelmed by the news, his brain circuiting as he processed what you just told him.
You’re pregnant. He’s going to be a father.
Tears welled in his eyes as he whispered, “Are you sure?”
You nodded, feeling tongue-tied. “Shinobu-san was kind enough to confirm it for me.”
He walked over to you and took you into his arms, carefully holding your body flush to his. “That’s wonderful, darling.”
A choked sob escaped your lips, your pent-up emotions releasing. All that worrying you had done had been for nothing. “Really?”
“Really.”
You took his face into your hands, softly cradling it. Your thumb moved across his cheek, caressing the skin and wiping the tears away that fell from his beautiful blue eyes. “Oh, Giyū …” Another sob wracked through you. “I love you so much.”
Giyū smiled at you. “I love you too, my darling,” His hand rested on your hips, holding you close. “And no matter what, I’m always going to be here for you, you hear me?”Neither of you could wait to start your new chapter as a family together.

The wisp of air that passed along with leaves, the light of the sun that filled in the empty dark alleys, and the breeze of cold seawater in this early morning.
It were all something Giyuu liked.
It were all something that atleast gave him some reason to still live, to still continue with this living torture, to still continue breathing amidst all the crisis and losses he had dealt with. Even now, he is still fighting against the very loss he hated most, he is still battling the guilt that flowed through him every, single, second.
Giyuu decided to jump down from the tree, and reveal himself to the pure nature around him. It had relieved him and freed him from all the stress, constantly and continuously strolling around the open park in his free time.
Although, he was here many times, more so, every day, he had seen an unfamiliar face today.
One that wore a smiley, happy-go-lucky expression, one that wore a long-sleeved haori with a white shirt inside, and long baggy pants. Needless to say, they were a foreign sight to him, but they looked as if like they were long close with the townspeople.
But Giyuu realized, that they weren’t just a random stranger, they were behind a stand, perhaps the one selling things that looked exquisite and eye-catchy enough that had caught the townspeople’s attention.
When the crowd slowly died out, Giyuu decided to approach you and see what were the things you were selling, only to see that your stand was freshly cleaned.
Awkwardness, he slowly retreated back, not wanting to catch your attention or bother you. But in all unfortunates, you had heard him, even the faintest sound he could ever produce.
“Ah! Mister! Are you here to buy my products?” Cheerly, you asked the man who looked at you like he’s seen a ghost.
“...” Slowly, he nodded, but you only chuckled, “okay! Make sure you’ll be here tomorrow once the sun rises, before I run out of stocks again!” You waved him goodbye then, as you shouldered your heavy bag on your back, and walked away.
Before Giyuu could even talk, you were already out of his sight. But he was wondering why, why did he feel a rush of excitement or a rush of impatience for tomorrow to come. It was just the same after all, wasn’t it? He’d have missions to accomplish, have demons to kill, and have another day to live on whilst carrying so many burdens on his shoulders.
He walked away too, feeling the cold breeze hit his face, as he slowly closed his eyes, wanting to feel relief and relaxed amongst them. But then again, he felt like something was missing. Even the things he liked, the refreshing wind, the illuminating sunlight, and the sea breeze are all in front and around him, he still felt as if he was not complete, nor enough yet.
~~~~~
June 14, XXXX.
Once again, the refreshing winds, the illuminating sunlight, and the sea breeze is present, but he still felt the same, feeling that something was missing.
He looked around, looking at his surroundings, as people do their own whatevers, a group of elderly gossiping in the background, merchants calling customers to their stalls, couples relaxing, families enjoying, and... children running around.
Perhaps it was a mere coincidence that he had remembered something, something that gave him quite the déjà vu. But he was sure the two children running around were like him and Sabito.
The relaxing and relieving feeling he once felt has now faded, soon replaced by a pang of hurt and grief.
Sabito was more than a friend to him, he was like a brother, or a guardian angel to Giyuu. Yet, knowing that Sabito had risked his life just to save him... is just utterly bitter for him. He now has to live with that guilt, bringing it along with him even in his deathbed.
Times like this, Giyuu had always asked if he was worth saving. The answer he’d always reply? No. He does not think he is worth saving, nor worth all the risk. He does not even know where to lead his life anymore, even. All he knows is that he must continue living on for the sake of the sacrifice of his one and only bestfriend.
The soft and gentle whisper of the winds, the good morning of the beautiful, shining sun rays, and the dazzling breeze of the seawater seemed to not comfort him anymore. He wants to let it all out, those tears, emotions, feelings, that he has been keeping hidden since, he wants it all gone.
The guilt was continuously welling up within him, the agony and grief as he remembered the brave sacrifice of his best friend again and again.
But, for whatever surprise that was, someone tapped on his shoulder, that just so happens to be you.
“Mister? Oh! It's you!” Enthusiasm laced your voice, as you greeted him joyfully with a smile of yours brighter than that of the sun.
“...” Giyuu only stared at you as he saw you bringing loads and loads of sacks, perhaps the things you’re selling today.
Giyuu stepped aside as he let you go to your designated spot, yet, for some reason, he had the urge to follow you.
“What were you thinking of, mister? — If you don’t mind me asking, ehe.” Sheepishly, you chuckled and smiled, as you placed down the sacks you dragged all the way here.
“...Thoughts.” He replied nonchalantly, but his inner mind has been deep in thoughts. Of course he wouldn’t tell you about Sabito.
“Haha, of course they are thoughts! But what kind of thoughts?” Tilting your head a little as you continued setting your stand for the day.
“...What are you selling?” Obviously, he changed the topic. But you paid it no mind, and answered his question, “oh! I sell these potions, ancient and historical scrolls, and these rope-like ornaments to bring good luck to you demon slayers!” You had quite the variety to show, especially when all these were really foreign to him.
“Hmm... good luck, you say?” But amongst all those, one particular thing caught his eye, which was the rope-like ornament, specifically color white and blue.
“How much is this?” He had already kept the rope within his pockets, “that would be ¥274.24!” A change of coins happened, the clinking of it was a nice sound to your ears.
He stood there awkwardly, as he didn’t know what to say now.
“Mister... did you know those kids over there?” you pointed at the children that were running around, that made Giyuu remember of Sabito. Shaking his head no, you simply nodded, “well, let me tell you. They were actually three best of friends. But the other one died due to the incurable disease, cancer. When I saw the both of them sitting on the sides the other day, I asked them, and they told me what happened. I felt sad and pity for them, especially to the deceased child. But did you know what the other kid said? He said it was okay, because his friend was now in heaven. But of course, he couldn’t keep his tears from falling out, and ended up wetting my haori with snot. It just... never fails to amaze me how a child’s mind could think of something so positive like that, even in the midst of darkness. Hehe..” You giggled sheepishly, as you just noticed how Giyuu attentively listened, and that his quiet-nonchalant-chill-cool guy facade slowly broke little by little, as you saw his emotions right through his eyes.
Giyuu departed almost immediately, not even bidding you goodbye. But you understood well enough, that Giyuu was like that of a child, too.
He too, was like the child, keeping a facade to keep the sadness from flowing out, but they will always fail to hide their longing.
Least to say, Giyuu thought well about it. He sat on the sides, and tied the rope on the scabbard of his sword. He thought too, if Sabito was happy and well off in heaven, or if that truly exists, or if heaven was just a mere child’s imagination.
He was still well off in the grieving stage, even after all these years, he could never accept the loss he had suffered. He wished then, right at that moment, that he was still a child and never grew up, so that he could still be with Sabito, and so that he could never feel this way again.
~~~~~
Days passed, until Giyuu showed up again. It took him three days to complete the mission Oyakata-sama gave him, which was the complete reason why he couldn’t show up. But now that he’s here, and you’re here, things are back to normal.
“Hello. I’d like to purchase this.” Giyuu presented a mini, thin, book in front of you, one of your bestselling and expensive ones.
“Ah...! Mr. Tomioka, welcome back. Yes, let me just..” as an exchange of coins happened, Giyuu never failed to look at you, and none other. His eyes were placed on you as you counted the coins slowly and properly, as his eyes landed on one particular thing. The rope-like ornament that he bought a few days back; swinging by your hips. He looked at his, too, and realized that the colors of the ornaments matched. You, too, had white and blue as your color of the rope-like ornament.
You traced where his eyes landed, and chuckled; “would you like to buy again?” It took Giyuu aback, but he eagerly shook his head no. “Are they your favorite color?” Suddenly, he asked out of pure curiosity; “yes! they complement each other so well — and blue is the most mesmerizing color I have ever seen! — just like your eyes.” gently, you smiled at him that made his heart melt. No one after Sabito had ever smiled at him like that. And that made him all the more happy.
~~~~~
Days, weeks, months, and almost a year had passed as your friendship grew.
And you never fail to see how his eyes would darken, how he’d grow silent, and how he’ll try to change the topic whenever he sees children having fun, or if you talk about them.
It had made you sad about his well-being, yet, he had rejected almost all of your comforting offers, because both you and him know that the longing will not fade ‘till thousands of years to come by.
“Y/n! Y/n!” A child-like voice called out, as you saw Tomoko, one of the children that you and Giyuu both befriended, and the same child that reminded him of his bond with Sabito.
It took you aback, really. You’ve never seen Tomoko that excited and happy ever since his friend’s passing. Immediately, his arms wrapped around your hips, almost making you stumble back, “look! Look! I found Aruno’s diary!” The excitement was obvious in Tomoko’s eyes as he eagerly flipped the pages of his deceased friend’s diary.
Hastily, he pulled your hand and forced you to sit down by the gathers, as Giyuu followed along. “Y/n! Can you read this to me, please? I can’t really understand his handwriting..” He flipped a few pages forth, and tapped on the page that contained quite a lot for a diary.
June 18, 10XX I met two friends, Tomoko and Naroi! They were really kind, and I had a great time with them! We played the whole afternoon, and went home at night! My mom called me home though, so I was a little sad. That night, I really couldn’t sleep. It was the first time I had friends after a long time! I was really excited for the next day that I couldn’t wait! I ended up sneaking out and writing this diary, as I count how many stars there are in the sky. I managed to count just 78 — but I immediately lost track when I felt something behind me! But it was just my friend Patrick — our neighbor’s cat! It was soo fun playing with Patrick, but when he scratched me, I got scared and didn’t go near him. But now that he’s here, maybe I should forgive him, right? I love you too Patrick! Well then, going back, Patrick is now laying on my lap, I lost count of the stars, but whatever! There will still be tomorrow night and next times to count the stars!
October 23, 10XX It’s been a long time since I wrote here, hehe. Well, honestly, I got an illness called cancer. I didn’t know what it was, but when mom explained it to me, I was so scared. She told me not to tell Tomoko and Naroi, but I feel soo bad for hiding it from them. I mean, friends should know and share everything, right? We promised no secrets! But mom said that it was for the better and I believe her!
November 1, 10XX Today, just a while ago, I saw mom crying. I didn’t know why, but she explained it to dad, but I can’t hear her. She was mumbling this and that, but I cried too, I didn’t want my mom sad.
November 10, 10XX I’m scared and I can’t stop crying. Mom said we need to go somewhere, but this place doesn’t look fun at all... I see people laying down in beds, with bandages and blood. It’s scary, but my mom said it’d be alright after a few days...
November 30, 10XX Mom lied... it wasn’t just a few days, I’ve been here for weeks and I’ve turned bald, now. What about my friends? What if Tomoko and Naroi laugh at me? But mom said true friends will accept me for who I am! My hair also was slowly falling off, so they decided to cut it.. I’m really scared.. I don’t look like how I used to be..
December 12, 10XX I met my friends again, but Tomoko and Naroi weren’t all that excited.. are they mad at me? For not showing up many months? They look at me so scarily, like they feel sad for me.. but I don’t want that.. I’m strong, aren’t I? Mom said so..
December 18, 10XX My eyes are heavy, like I just wanna sleep forever.. I can’t really breathe right, I feel like there’s a booger stuck in my nose, a huge one.. I think I’m growing weak, I just wanna rest forever, lay in bed even if this is not as comfy as the one at home.. I hate seeing my mom cry.. and I miss Tomoko and Naroi..
“...waah..” Tomoko’s eyes spilled his tears, as his sobs were getting louder and louder.
“...waaaaaaahh!! I-I hic- I didn‘t know Aruno- wah- had to go through all- hic- t-that...!!” Tomoko tried to wipe his tears, but only served useless as it only multiplied. After all, what could be more heartbreakening if not for a child whom only wished for a simple life?
“T-Tomoko...!” Tomoko ran away, perhaps trying to hide the tears uselessly, trying to save his tough facade. But, it was already broken from the moment those words were written in that diary. And same went to the man beside you, his tough facade too, slowly fading away.
“G-Giyuu.. a-are you crying?” You asked nervously, you never planned any of this to happen.
“I wonder... if Sabito thought the same.” He didn’t even try to hide his tears, he let it all flow out, as he knew; trying to hide his tears would never take away his pain and guilt. He only stared at the now dark sky, looking up at the moon that served as the light in the dark night.
“This Sabito... was he... like Aruno?” You knew you had this coming, but you didn’t expect Giyuu would break over a child’s diary, despite him keeping up the good work of hiding his feelings away.
“No. He killed himself for me. I should’ve... been the one in his place right now, if I wasn’t so cowardly.” This time, he looked down, as he relived that day, the day that he lost his one and only bestfriend.
“Wha-! D-Don’t say that, Giyuu-kun! I’m sure he did that for the better!”
“Yet he died for the worst.”
“Did he... sacrifice himself?”
“He wanted to protect all of us, and charged on straight to the demons. I wanted to fight by his side, but it was too late. And I could... only watch.” He chuckled at the last sentence, remembering his petty choices and past patheticness.
“I’m sure he did that with no regrets, Giyuu.. I’m sure that was what he wanted, to keep all of you safe and sound.”
“Yet it was in an exchange for his life!”
“Death is inevitable!”
“He was only thirteen!” You gasped. You never thought children would be fighting demons so early. So it was... what? Few? Many? Years ago and yet he still has kept it within him?
“But... he sacrificed himself for all of you, Giyuu.. you can’t keep blaming yourself, it was his choice..”
“He had no choice! He was the only one who could fight amongst all of us! Stronger than I am!”
“Exactly! And that’s why he protected the weak!”
“Yet even the weakest can do something! I could’ve been the one to charge on straight to the demon, but no — it was him instead!” His sobs were getting out of control, as he looked at you with eyes just like Tomoko’s.
“But you couldn’t fight! If you truly wanted to switch places, then you wouldn’t be here now, you wouldn’t be-”
“Then I wish I died instead of him!” Silence filled the air as your bicker had stopped. You scooched closer to him, and pat his back, slowly.
“He did that for you to live a better life, Giyuu.. even if you hate him with all your life for doing that, it wouldn’t change the fact that he wanted nothing more but for you to succeed.”
“You can’t make me think otherwise, Y/n.” This was a version of Giyuu that you hadn’t known until today. It was as if he was not the Giyuu you once knew, it’s as if he turned into one that is so resentful, and angry.
“...So what? Are you just gonna let his sacrifice go to waste, as if it was nothing, knowing that the main purpose of it all was because he wanted you to live on to this day!? Is it so wrong for you to atleast give credit to yourself? Correct me if I’m wrong — but I know for a fact that he wanted you to live on to this day — every single day, so that you could help those in need, protect those who’re weak, and continue on his last, and final wish!”
“...” Giyuu only said nothing, nor does he even have anything to retort back. You were right, but it doesn’t make his guilt fade. It didn’t help at all, that he was only a mere bystander on Sabito’s fight, not his bestfriend.
“Sabito... would really like for you to continue on living, despite the hardships and adversities you’ve gone through... after all, wasn’t he the sole inspiration you had all this time? To reach the highest, and kill all those demons.. but you don’t have to live your life repeating those things...! There are so many wonders and beauty of this world that you have yet to discover... as a merchant, I’ve travelled from different villages, cities, districts, until I’ve reached here...! Please, don’t let Sabito’s sacrifice go in vain. I’m sure he had no second thoughts, nor regrets — because he only wanted you to live your life and experience every single thing! The guilt may not wash away — but I’m sure, once you see my point, you wouldn’t have to live with that anymore because Sabito doesn’t even blame you. He did that, and he knew his choice — because he wanted you to reach this day, and tomorrow.” A string in his heart had been pulled, he felt like he was suffocated as your hands hovered over his. “So please... don’t give up... atleast for me...”
He really didn’t know what Sabito wanted back at that moment. But if Sabito really has any regrets, then why didn’t he look back in hesitation, right before he charged on to the demon?
“Giyuu-kun, tomorrow, let’s meet here again, and let’s go to a different place, so that by the day our time has come, we will leave no regrets.”
★ • ° ` — BONUS:
The days has passed, and Giyuu had left the Demon Slayer Corps. Truth be told, he really didn’t want to leave, as half of his life and memories had been imprinted there, but he wanted to find the meaning of his life, just as you told him.
“Giyuu-kun! Over there! I see a starfish!” You pointed across the shore and ran over to the starfish, and decide to poke it. A giggle left your mouth as Giyuu picked it up and put it on top of your head.
“Oh you think you‘re so funny, huh!?” Immediately, you splashed seawater at him, and his laughter echoed the whole beach.
It was the first time he had let out a hearty laugh, and definitely not the last, because you’re there, his new bestfriend.
My Devoted Husbands ( Fem!Reader) Chapter 3: What should I do now?
Warnings: Slight angst, mentions of polyamory, reverse harem.
Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Head Canons
As soon as Kyojuro left, you immediately changed into your kendo practice outfit, grabbed a couple of bokken and went to look for your dad. As he saw you storming in, he instinctively hid behind your mom using her as a human shield. Your mother graciously slid to the side allowing you to throw one of the bokken directly to his hand.
-“Ah darling, I am so glad that you reached us here; your mother and I were just talking about Kyojuro and we just feel like…” He said desperately looking at your mom but obtaining no support from her.
-“We will decide this, right now. We will have a 3 set kendo match, if you win I will let Kyojuro know about our family legacy and I will allow you to freely speak to him about your crazy marriage ideas. But… “. Your stance was fierce and full of determination -“If I win, you will never mention anything related to the corp and will drop the circus about marriage until I decide the time is right. Deal?”-
You father was really taken aback, they both were in the middle of a very exciting conversation where he described to your mom how fast you moved in the living room and that he was completely sure that you had already surpassed him. But even after that, he stared at you solemnly standing up from his seat.
-“Y/N, sweetie, weren’t you training today with Sanemi-kun? Genya-kun will be disappointed if you did not make it.” He said sweetly, trying to convince you to drop off the subject.
-“Oh, the boys can manage without me. They are actually rooting for my victory.” Your voice was calm but defiant and as your father knew you were not going to step down from your challenge, he finally agreed.
 -“Very well, so be it. And might we keep our promises then, independently of the match result”.
-“I do trust that you will keep your word, because if you don’t, I will never speak to you back again. And you can bet I am dead serious” . Your gaze was fixed on his, with fiery resolution. If you were going to date Kyojuro, you would do it properly and on your own terms.
You two walked down to the center of your garden, your mom would play as referee since she used to be a very skilled demon slayer. Your brother joined to witness what he believed would be your dad's defeat. Just by staring at you he knew you were already skillful enough to win over a kendo match, it was just a matter of time.
-“Whoever wins 2 sets out of 3 will be the winner of the match”- your mom said as she placed herself in the middle of you both “As for kendo goes, a direct contact will count as a point.” You and your dad were fixedly staring at each other, your bokken up in a guard stance, a dead silence reigned at the battleground and so your mother said with clear voice:
-”Start!”.
Almost immediately after that, you felt a very strong impact in your stomach that propelled you to the far back of the backyard, finding yourself in the need to kneel down to stop yourself from hitting against the wall.
-”Point!”. Your mother exclaimed as you looked at your dad still kneeling on the floor. He had that fiery gaze that confirmed his high ranking at the slayers corp. You were gasping for air but tried to dissimulate, that strike had been really precise and painful.
-”If you have any intention of winning, you need to start taking me seriously, Y/N. I might be your father but I am still The Water Pillar and if you ever intend to claim this rank, better start acting as the Tsugoku you are and drop your childish ideas.”
He was right, you have been so angry about what just happened with Kyojuro that you totally forgot who you were about to fight, it wasn’t an UNO match against your daddy; it was a kendo match with the Water Pillar.
For an instant you felt a bit insecure, unsure if you could attain victory, but then it hit you. Even if you did not say it out loud you knew that your honor and worth as swordswoman were at stake. Because, how could you talk so big if you weren’t able to back your words with true strength? That was the challenge you threw at him by asking for a kendo match. You probably could have thrown a tantrum, asked your mother to intervene or given him the silent treatment for a couple of days to make him stop all his babbling related to Kyojuro. But no, you were so sure that your sword skills were superior to his, that you threw that challenge completely secure about your victory.
It wasn’t about boyfriend or marriage anymore, it was about if you were already strong enough to officially surpass your father and become the next Water Pillar. It was about if you could keep the family legacy with dignity. You were sure that by then, he would start respecting your decisions more and will stop making ridiculous comments about your personal life.
You honestly loved being in the corps, the training sessions, the knowledge your father passed to you and why not; you loved how damn good of a slayer you were. So yes, you would show him how strong your will to protect humans from the demon menace was and how proud you were to call yourself a Demon Slayer.
And you will, definitely, win.
As all doubts started to dissipate, you stood up with your gaze fixed on the messy ground, steadily breathing and as you sheathed your bokken to your belt, you said to your opponent:
-”Now I am ready, father.” You patiently  waited for your mother to call the beginning of the next set.
-”Start!” It was like your body moved by itself, you quickly positioned yourself at your dad’s back.
-”Water breathing, second form: water wheel!” Your rival was merely able to dodge it, he counterattacked, but you were faster blocking his front strike and so you continued:
-”Water breathing, fourth form; striking tide…” Now your father started to defend himself from a series of speedily impacts as you quickly changed your direction with a back somersault, you yelled “ Water breathing, sixth form: Whirlpool!!!”
-”Point!” Your mother briskly said as your bokken slightly impacted your dad’s shoulder. You are now even, 1 to 1, the next set will decide everything. You were pretty sure that your father was enjoying the match as much as you and you were also sure that the hardest part of the tussle was about to start. None of you said a word and so your mother proceeded to yell with excitement:
-”Start!” None of you two were to be seen at any place, as you both bet on speed for achieving victory. Only a high level swordsman could follow your now inhuman encounter, your brother was the only one having trouble keeping up compared to your mother, who was completely focused on identifying the match winner as her eyes quickly scanned the entire scene.
Your father’s strikes were faster, stronger and more precise compared to the beginning of the match; you felt like your bokken could break at any moment. You needed to use your entire body to dodge his strikes since getting a broken weapon will translate into an automatic loss.
While your foothold kept changing constantly you decided to start building momentum for a final strike, you were tired and were sure that if you did not finish it with all you had left, you would probably lose. You started your attack by briefly changing direction to totally impulse yourself on your garden wall, as you were total concentration breathing, your strong step cracked the wall as you propelled yourself forward against your father, this was it:
-”Water breathing, ninth form: Splashing Water Flow, Flash!”. It happened in an instant, a thunderous sound announced that one of the bokken had broken and after all the dust had settle; there was an obvious winner. You and your father were standing, staring in opposite directions, with your bokken slightly touching the back of his neck and your dad’s half bokken on the floor .
-”Point and match! Your mother happily yelled as you dropped to the floor, completely exhausted. Your father was showing you a big smile when he offered his hand to help you get up.
-”Do not ever doubt yourself again, your strength and skill now pairs with a pillar, live your life with honor as you have always had.” The feelings that those words carried were so powerful to you, that you had tears at the brink of your eyes. Just as in the beginning of the match, your body moved by itself, warmly giving into your father’s embrace, this was the moment you have been waiting for almost all your life since you unsheathed your first katana. You have finally deemed yourself worthy of your last name.
Well this was not it, at least not yet. You still needed to receive Lord Kagaya’s blessing and successfully complete your first mission as the lead of high-ranked Demon Slayer squad. But this was indeed the beginning of the rest of your life. Time flew so fast while your Dad merrily recreated your final strike with your brother’s help, that you did not notice it until your phone vibed violently with a sort of extremely enthusiastic texts:
From: Nemi
[Wth Y/N? U left me hanging by myself with the little shit.]
You couldn’t help but to giggle, you can’t remember how many times you have asked Sanemi to not call Genya those, in your opinion, bad taste nicknames but your friend was just like that. As you start writing back to him you realized how late it was and that you were not going to make it to your date with Giyuu.
From: You
[I finally broke my old man’s bokken, TTYL, got a date. ]
The time it took you to get ready was barely human, you showered, put some clothes and perfume on, grabbed your purse and you were already sprinting to the recently opened tea house. You thought that being a demon in slayer was not always that bad, as it came along with some physical perks. Being late was a usual with you and a good thing was that Giyuu never seemed to care about it.
It was not hard to spot your friend, peaceful sitting in a two-person table, scrolling through his phone, with a chilly glass of water at his side. The waitresses noticed you immediately as you made your way to your seat. Your black haired companion stood up as soon as he saw you walking in, he was slightly taller than you, he had was wearing a stretchy white blouse and denim jeans, his hair was a bit messier than usual, but still styled into a low pony tail.
“You look terrible.” - said your friend in a very serious tone.
“Thank you! I missed you too…- you said with a sarcastic tone while you removed your jacket and sat down, picking up the menu and calling in the waitress.
“…and you still wonder why you don’t have a girlfriend.” - You concluded raising a eyebrow and giving him a small side smile.
“I did not meant any harm with that… I am actually concerned. I think you sometimes take your training too seriously.” - He spoke as he ordered his and your drink. He’d know you for so long that he did not needed to ask about your choice. The waitress nodded and quickly removed herself from the table. It was actually nice the way you both got treated by the waitresses every time you and Giyuu hanged out, you assumed that it was because your friend was considerably handsome and that you both had always gave out the “best friends” vibe.
“… And I have not ever complained, not even once, for not having a girlfriend”.- You rolled your eyes with a wide smile.
“Then, you should learn how to properly speak to lady if you ever wanna change that.” - you concluded as you took the first sip from your drink. It was absolutely blissful, the floral scent flooded your nose, warmness embracing your insides, instantly relaxing every aching muscle of your body.
“I will take your advice, thank you”.- He sipped from his drink, and you were not sure if he enjoyed the tea as much you did, in fact it was always very hard to read your friend’s mind. Actually now that you had come to think about it, the way you two bonded was kind of peculiar.
You and his sister, Tsukako, became good friends during high school and even though you had knew him since then, you and Giyuu did not became friends until you both got into college together, in the same bachelor degree. A lot had changed since those times, but certainly not his lack of expressions, and you could not help but to compare him with Kyojuro and how much of an open book was your new blond boyfriend.
BOYFRIEND! Yes, these were happy news that you definitely wanted to disclose with one of your closest friends. The thought of Daki not being the first one to know gave you chills, but out of sight, out of mind right?
“So, you are never gonna guess what happened to me today.”- you took another sip. -“I was at this pizza place and I chose to start choking at the worst time possibly…” - Your friend interrupted you.
“Y/N, I need to tell you something…- his face was serious, nothing out of the normal, but was not the type of guy to ever interrupt you, so he left you out of words.
“I-I… Well that’s… ok sure. Is everything alright?”- you sipped again, glancing at him with the lower corner of your eye, with consternation.
“I like you and I want you to go out with me.”- Luckily for you, the tea was in the right place at the right time, otherwise your recently confessed lover would had a dripping wet face by then.
That phrase keep floating around your head, you blinked with confusion, did you heard that right? Probably not, so you sipped again while you cleared your throat.
“You, err, like me? You like me, exactly in which type of way?.- you asked, while repeating to yourself: “Please do not say it, please let it be a misunderstanding, please, not today.”
“In a romantic way, the way a man feels attracted to a woman.” - he sipped and cleared his fine lips with a neatly folded paper napkin. You rested your chin on the palm of your hand, using your fingers to cover your mouth, frowning with concern, unable to speak. This had to be a horrible coincidence, it was just some nights ago that you had dismissed your dad’s ranting about your friends having romantic feelings for you and here you were; A new boyfriend, the broken bokken of your father and another love confession.
Could this day get any crazier?
It was not the fact that you could not like Giyuu, he was indeed a great guy and you enjoyed being around him. Having your blue-eyed companion as a boyfriend was not an idea that you disliked but the problem was that you were dating someone else by now. How were you supposed to gracefully reject a friend and not hurt his feelings? You were not even sure if you were ready to be in a relationship with Kyojuro and there you were, having to break the heart of someone you cared for and if this was not enough, you were about to start the process to become the water pillar.
It was too much, too much for her, too much for a couple of days, too much for her the rest of her life thank you very much.
“You do not have to give me an answer right now. I am going on a business trip tomorrow. We can talk about it when I come back and I will be fine with whatever decision you take.” - He calmly called the waitress again to ask for a refill. How in hell could he be so calm after he spat such words? How could he failed to see how were you crumbling on the inside? Nonetheless, that was a good thing, right? It turned you into a very good liar, concealing your secret until the day you die. You have not spoken a single word.
“Sorry, I did interrupted you. You were talking about a pizza place?” - He sipped again, with inhuman tranquility, and you decided to play along. If you were going to reject him you would have time to think about the best way to do it and still end up in good terms, because that was only way to do it. Right?
“It was, it was nothing special, it was the best slice pizza that ever tried to kill me.” - For a change, Giyuu chuckled.
❦ GIYUU X PREGNANT!READER
cw: none, this is fluff, fem!reader
Tumblr media
"you have a wife?!" sanemi yelled.
"you’re lying." obanai mumbled. "that’s sad."
"tomioka, how sweet!" mitsuri called.
giyuu’s eyes narrowed at rengoku, the bright man just smiled innocently.
"i had no idea they didn’t know," he sheepishly said.
as soon as giyuu got back from his mission, the flame hashira informed him that his wife was in the butterfly mansion. something had happened, and she needed to be taken to shinobu. unfortunately, rengoku wasn’t known for being quite—blasted eardrums will do that to a person—so the other hashira in the perimeter got to hear (for the first time) that not only was giyuu NOT single, he was MARRIED.
they ended up following him through the halls, pestering him with questions until they reached the room you stayed in. your husband ignored them like usual, the only thing on his mind being your well being.
his nerves were calmed, however, immediately upon seeing you laying in bed, a smile on your face as you chatted with shinobu.
"how are you feeling?" giyuu’s tone was soft as he blocked you from the prying eyes of the other hashira in the doorway. he made his way towards your side.
"tired." you smiled at him, letting your husband hold your hand and run his thumb over your fingers. "shinobu said it was a false contraction."
"it was caused by stress," your friend’s calming voice said. "makes sense, tomioka, anyone married to you would be on edge."
your husband just grumbled at his friend as you giggled. he then helped you sit up in bed, the blankets falling off to reveal your pregnant stomach to the small audience watching.
"you had sex?!" sanemi screamed.
oblivious to the small mass of people staring at you, sanemi’s outburst startled you, causing you to grab onto your husband’s haori. he instinctively pulled you close, his soft look switching to a death glare towards the doorway.
"hush!" giyuu seethed at him, finally giving attention to the posse. "she’s nine months pregnant; shut up."
although listening and lowering his voice, sanemi didn’t let his question go unanswered. "you’re not a virgin?"
"go away," giyuu deadpanned. "all of you, go away. now."
"it’s okay, darling," you tried to soothe him. "maybe you should introduce me to your friends."
you felt him tense up at that. he didn’t let go of your hand, and he only moved half a step away from you (half of them still couldn’t see you), and he spoke with a monotone voice. "this is my wife, y/n. she’s pregnant with our first child."
the was no verbal reaction from the onlookers, just looks of disbelief from the four of them. it felt like you were an animal in the zoo with the way they were all staring dumbfounded at you.
it took a couple minutes for shinobu and rengoku to get the others out, leaving you and giyuu alone in the room. as soon as the door closed, your husband grabbed your face and peppered kisses all over it, causing you to giggle. he took a seat on the edge of the bed to be closer to you.
"i’m so sorry," he said, kissing your lips. "i’m sorry i wasn’t here."
"it’s okay, baby." you let your head rest on his shoulder. "i’m just glad i didn’t give birth."
"i would never forgive myself if i was gone for that." giyuu’s hand ran up and down your back comfortingly.
you sigh in relief, turning your head to place a kiss on his neck.
"well now that you’re here, let’s get this baby out of me."
Hashira’s Reaction to your skirt flowing during a mission
pov: you’re fighting a demon and while landing your skirt blew up a bit to far…
warnings: slightly suggestive?? if you squint hard enough
characters: giyuu, tengen, sanemi, and rengoku.
a/n: sorry if there’s any misspells and wtv, to lazy to read over
Tumblr media
Giyuu Tomioka
- Happened when you were in mid air with the demon and he just so happened to look up right underneath you
- Would definitely try and act like he didn’t completely get a face full of your pink panties
- His face would go a shade you’d never expect to see on a guy like him, red.
- “Is everything okay?” Soemthing you’d ask to make sure he wasn’t about to pass out
- After seeing it, he’d probably pause during the fight making you yell at him to move
- Even though you guys are dating he’s still flustered
“Giyuu, what’s up with you?” You ask holding your hand up to his flushed cheeks.
“It’s nothing, how about we find a place to stay for the night?”
“But this mission wasn’t even that far from headquarters-”
He doesn’t reply and just drags you away towards an inn, you could tell when he wanted something…and you knew what that something was…
Tumblr media
Sanemi Shinazugawa
- Happened when you did a flip backwards to dodge a demons attack
- Would stare at you like you have three heads
- Kills the demon in seconds after seeing your skirt fly up to reveal your cute panties
- Has a shit eating grin as he looks at you, which you were oblivious to the fact you just basically flashed him
- Adds extra wind to his attack just to see your skirt flow
“That was quick!” You smile putting your sword away.
“Nice underwear.” Sanemi said pulling you in by your waist.
Your face immediately began to heat up, did your skirt show a bit more than it needed?
“Shut up you perv!” You say nudging him.
Even though you two were dating you still were embarrassed, later that night he’d definitely have to take a peak.
Tumblr media
Kyojuro Rengoku
- It happened as you jumped in front of him to help deflect the demons attack
- You felt a little air brush against an area but quickly shrugged it off and continued to follow through with your attacks
- A loud gasp was heard from behind you..
- His face is most definitely lit up, and a slight smile is on his face
“Oh my!” Rengoku yelled.
“What? Did I do something wrong?” You ask innocently, oblivious to the fact you just shoved your butt in his face.
“You may need a longer skirt, (y/n)!” Rengoku chuckled as he patted your back.
Tumblr media
Tengen Uzui
- We all know, he’d definitely smack your ass
- Happened in the same situation with Rengoku, your ass on full display for him
- You yelped after the contact his hand made with your body
- No shame, not at all
- in a modern au he’d yell gyat, don’t tell me otherwise
“What the hell!?” You say rubbing your butt to try and calm the stinging pain.
“We have got to find a place tonight.” Tengen snickered as he sliced the demons neck.
“Yeah like i’ll let you do anything to me.” You smirk, knowing you’d get on your knees if he said so.
“Oh really?”
-ˋˏ ༻!Taisho Rumors!༺ ˎˊ- (with the Hashira’s) part 2➳ ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
Tumblr media Tumblr media
||synopsis: finally time for some Taisho rumors between y/n and the other Hashira’s they’re close with!
||character order: Tomioka Giyuu, Kyojuro Rengoku, Tengen Uzui, Obanai Iguro, Shinazugawa Sanemi, Himejima Gyomei, Tokito Muichiro, Kocho Shinobu, Kanroji Mitsuri<33
(platonic headcanons, can be interpreted however you’d like!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
˚ʚtomioka giyuuɞ˚
After Shinobu began telling giyuu that continuously poking someone can help them open up to you, Giyuu began poking at your arm every time he saw you, despite having the closest relationship with you out of all the other Hashira’s. It still confuses you when he pokes at your arm silently.
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀
˚ʚkyojuro rengokuɞ˚
When talking, you usually have a soft voice. However after finding out that Rengoku had burst his ear drums while on a mission, you began to yell loudly when talking to him, just to make sure he would hear you without constantly asking you to repeat yourself. He finds it very kind that you speak loudly for him.
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀
˚ʚtengen uzuiɞ˚
Even after he retired, you would constantly visit his estate. Every time you go, you always have tea with his wives while gossiping. The moment you finish with your tea, uzui constantly drags you off to his closet in order to style you in flashy clothes. This involves him doing your make up and you giving him a modeling show in return.
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀
˚ʚobanai iguroɞ˚
You were the first hashira to find out his snakes name. And once you did, you were constantly stealing Kaburamaru any moment you could. Eventually obanai just let it happen and would wait for you to return with Kaburamaru a few moments later. What’s shocking is that Kaburamaru takes a liking to you and loves when you take him to your estate to feed him and give him a mini makeover.
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀
˚ʚshinazugawa sanemiɞ˚
One day after a hashira meeting, Mitsuri braided everyones hair like hers. Although she had been too nervous to confront Sanemi due to thinking he wouldn’t be pleased. After Mitsuri and everyone else had left, you braided Sanemi’s hair as you didn’t want him to feel left out. He acted like he hated it but really was happy.
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀
˚ʚhimejima gyomeiɞ˚
Whenever you go on missions with him, he’ll gladly give you piggy back rides when you get tired of running or walking. He knows as a hashira your completely capable of running for long periods of time, but he secretly gets really happy when you ask him to let you go on his back or shoulders.
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀
˚ʚtokito muichiroɞ˚
Whenever Muichiro is upset or feels sick, he sulks by following you around everywhere with his forehead pressed against the back of your shoulder. He just stares at the ground while his forehead never leaves your back. He just follows you gloomily while sulking. And whenever someone tries to talk to you while he’s like that, he only gets more gloomy.
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀
˚ʚkocho shinobuɞ˚
After visiting the butterfly estate after a small injury from battle, you assumed it would be funny to play a small prank on shinobu by speaking in tongue to see her reaction. The moment she heard the gibberish leave your mouth, she stared at you as if you were crazy before finally saying, “for you, this is oddly normal.” She then proceeded to shrug before leaving.
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀ ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀
˚ʚkanroji mitsuriɞ˚
Mitsuri’s love for cats is very obvious. And being honest, you love cats as well. The two of you don’t always get partnered together for missions but whenever you do, the two of you spot as many cats as you can and give them each names. She also brings pink ribbons and likes to tie them loosely around each cats neck after naming them with you.
Yo I think something glitched when I was making the header...didn't crop properly. Anyway, enjoy this trash and I'm sorry if it's not up to my usual standard but I just got the random idea in the middle of the night!
Note: Reader is pregnant, so therefore fem and if it makes you uncomfortable I apologise but don't read
Everyone was convinced Tomioka Giyuu hated you right from the start.
You were first introduced to the Hashira when Oyakata-sama called them all for a meeting on the latest reports of demon activity, but requested them all to stay a little longer before being dismissed. Amane gestured for you to come forward with a gentle smile and you shuffled out of the shadows with your hands clasped together in nervousness but with a bright bream upon your face. The Hashira’s eyes caught yours in surprise, wondering if you were perhaps a new Kakushi since you weren’t wearing a slayer uniform, but instead a traditional (f/c) yukata.
Then their eyes strayed downwards and changed their minds about that, but nonetheless still remained in confusion.
“This is our newest member, (y/n) (y/l/n), the (b/f) Hashira. She was supposed to join our ranks quite some months ago but due to her sudden pregnancy she will for now be an honorary member.”
The only sign of your anxiety was the blush on your cheeks and the hand rubbing at your swollen abdomen. “Hi everyone! I’m so happy to meet you all! I won’t be on the battlefield for some time and I’m sorry I can’t fight alongside you for now, but I look forward to getting to know you all. If you need anything, I’m always at the (e/n) Estate.”
The ice was broken and you were immediately approached by many of the Hashira. Himejima-san cried and wished you and your child good health, making you feel a little embarrassed but thanked him anyway. The Mist Pillar Tokito simply stared at you, then at the sky, then at you again before asking what were you doing here again (later on, he startled you by appearing behind and questioning you in that airheaded manner of his if he could talk to the baby).
You were also tackled by the Love Pillar who introduced herself as Kanroji Mitsuri and your new best friend as well as the calmer Insect Pillar, Kocho Shinobu, who despite slightly unnerving you with her smile touched you greatly when she said you could always stop by the Butterfly Mansion for checkups or simply a visit.
“How far along are you?”
“About five months, I think!”
“KYAAAAAAAAAAH! Your baby is going to be so cute! What’s it’s name? Do you know if it’s a he or a she yet? I can’t wait to be an aunt!”
“Heh, I’m not too sure yet, but I have a feeling it’s going to be a boy!”
Mitsuri squealed again, causing you to laugh at her genuine happiness. She whipped her head behind her and called out to the silently glowering Snake Pillar. “Iguro-san, don’t you think the baby will be cute? I really wish I’ll have some of my own one day!”
You and Shinobu shared a smirk as the Wind Pillar grumpily slapped his friend’s back and dragged the furiously red Iguro away, muttering viciously about not wasting any more time in hunting a Twelve Kizuki.
“Oh look, there's Tomioka-san. Why hasn't he come and said hello yet?”
“Ah well, a lone friendless wolf as always.” Shinobu didn't see you originally visibly brighten at Mitsuri’s words and turn surprised at hers.
Indeed Tomioka was standing awkwardly as always a little - long, actually - way off. What was not as always was that horrified, slack jawed look on his face instead of his usual blank, emotionless one.
“Tomioka-san? Are you alright? You've been making that face for a long time already…” Shinobu's eye twitched, but you didn't notice, suddenly preoccupied with Muichiro’s intense questioning of whether he could play with the baby when it was born.
“She shouldn't be a Hashira.”
The remaining Hashira found themselves narrowing their eyes at the Water Pillar's blunt, if not rude, words.
That would be just one of the many events that further convinced them of his intense dislike of you.
***
You started going over a lot to the Butterfly Mansion over then next few months, becoming a fast favorite among the girls for your cheerful attitude and your baby; even Kanao cracked a smile at you when you came around. When the other Hashira arrived to be healed you always made it a point to go pay them a visit and in turn you pretty soon had every one of them in your back pocket, including the harsh, loudmouthed Wind Pillar Shinazugawa who constantly gave you a jolt with the complete 360 with his attitude around you, to the point you could call him a good friend.
Being friends with him usually meant hearing him grumble about the stupid waterboy.
“Why doesn’t he ever look at you anyway, turning away like that. So rude, that little (beep) (beep) (beep)-”
“Eheh, Shinazugawa-san, don’t swear so loudly, he’ll hear you!”
You had stopped by to Sanemi’s room when Shinobu had mentioned he was there to be patched up after a mission and knowing how busy she was, had offered to go help change his bandages with the basic medical knowledge you had picked up over the years of being a slayer. Reluctantly she had agreed and so here you were, chatting away with him until he spotted Tomioka passing by (he poked his head in actually, otherwise Sanemi would never have noticed him) and started complaining about him once more, especially when you had called out to him and Tomioka had simply whipped his head to the side to stare into the distance.
Really, Sanemi wasn’t the only one to notice how Tomioka avoided you like the plague with that stupid, vacant, red expression of his.
“He’s just shy, he doesn’t mean to be rude!” You defended the poor Pillar, continuing with rewinding the new wrappings.
“Tch, you should see how he acts at the meetings, like he’s better than us or something,” was the growling reply. “(beep) doesn’t know how to (beep) talk with anyone with his (beep) attitude.”
“I don’t think he thinks he’s better than all of you, maybe it’s just something else,” You hum, finishing up. “That’s all! I’m glad the demon didn’t go any further than a scratch.”
Shinazugawa grunted, then his gaze caught yours and softened. “By the way, who’s the dad?”
“Oh, it’s -”
“(y/n)-san!” Three heads peeked in from the door shyly. “Can you come and play with us?”
“Of course! Bye, Shinazugawa!”
Like always the reply was only a “tch”.
***
Another thing was that he never stopped repeating what he said at the first time everyone met you: “She shouldn’t be a Hashira”, going as far as to attempt to prevent you from wielding a sword, although this was only noticed by Tanjiro.
You had agreed to the Kamaboko Squad’s requests (aka demands by Inosuke and begging from Zenitsu) to train together, despite Tanjiro’s worries which you brushed off. The boys were very rambunctious and did tire you out quite a bit, but you were having so much fun and they were so eager you just went on sparring with them until even Inosuke muttered a plead for a quick break, unable to beat your incredible swordsmanship.
“(y/n)-chan!!! Who’s the lucky guy you married?! You never told us and I want to know how he managed to score someone so beautiful like you so I can do it with Nezuko-chan!” Zenitsu simpered, scooting closer, ignoring Tanjiro’s scandalized look.
“What’s married?” Inosuke’s voice was muffled underneath his boar mask and the mountain of onigiri you had brought he was stuffing into his mouth, so none of you heard him.
You giggle, placing a hand on your stomach. “He’s very sweet, although he’s honestly very shy and doesn’t talk much. I’m sure you’ve met him before! Can you guess?”
“Woah, really?” Tanjiro brightened, wondering who it could be, but his next question was interrupted by an interrogative monotone.
“What are you doing? You shouldn’t be training.” Tomioka stood in front of them, the first time anyone had seen him interact with you without just staring at the ground. His face was as empty as the void but there was a tiny crease between his eyebrows and Tanjiro didn’t have to inhale to smell the worry reeking off him.
“I didn’t know you were so concerned about (y/n)-chan, Tomioka-san.” Zenitsu’s eyebrows shot up, disappearing under his hair while he glowered judgmentally.
Tomioka made no reply, only swiftly grabbing and removing the sword from your hand. “She shouldn’t be a Hashira, much less train. You nearly died fighting a demon not too long ago, you’re in no shape to be doing this.”
With that he abruptly walked off and left Zenitsu and Inosuke to scream at him for being such an un-gentleman and for not fighting with them while you looked away sadly.
Tanjiro wondered why he didn’t once smell dislike on Tomioka. Only fear.
***
“What’s he got against (l/n)?” Obanai joined in on the conversation from his perch on the tree. He’d look for reasons to hate against the Water Pillar all the time, but unlike the others this time round his hatred was justified.
Tengen rolled his eyes flamboyantly. “I know! He’s constantly acting like she’s a pest to be around, but she doesn’t seem to have beef with him. What’s wrong with that bland creature?”
“Oh come on! We don’t actually know if he hates her,” Rengoku protested mildly.
“Then why does he keep refusing to even make eye contact with her?”
“I mean, Iguro, you can’t talk, you only ever look at Kanroji” - Obanai turned away, blushing furiously as Tengen cackled - “but I get your point. The other day I walked in on them arguing. I can’t believe he would keep reminding her of past failures without keeping her current state in mind!”
“Perhaps he only wants to try and convince her to stay safe during this time and discourage her from slaying for now?”
“Rengoku, my best buddy, you’re too optimistic.”
“There’s no other reason he’d give her the cold shoulder 24/7.”
Soon the conversation drifted to other topics, but little would they know Rengoku was the closest to the truth…
***
Shinobu already had enough on her hands with all the screaming, panic and blood, but of course Tomioka just had to show up at the most inopportune moment.
It had been a relatively quiet day as the two of you sat on the engawa, exchanging war stories over tea when with a sudden cry you had doubled over in pain. Your water had broken and you were heading into labour - quickly.
Just barely the Insect Pillar had managed to get you to a bed and sent the Butterfly Girls scurrying for the necessities, hiding her uneasiness at the slight earliness of your boy’s arrival to keep you calm and help you through it. You were doing well under her coaxing to use Total Concentration Breathing, and thankfully Shinazugawa was still around to help you relax with a familiar face.
Then Aoi had burst in with a frantic expression and thundering footsteps from behind that certainly weren’t hers.
“Shinobu-san, Tomioka is demanding to be let in-”
“Keep him out!” Shinobu grimaced, returning her attention to you. She’s heard and seen what he’s like around you, and other than the fact he has no business to be here she didn’t want to send you into a further state of panic. “He doesn’t like her, and if he opens that mouth of his to say anything more I might be responsible for two deaths.”
You dug your nails into Sanemi’s proffered hand, screaming in pain. He winced but said nothing, only looking up with a determined look in his eyes at Shinobu. “I’ll go keep Tomioka out, just make sure she delivers safely.”
Without waiting for a reply Sanemi rushed out to bar the doorway, leaving Shinobu to assure and handle your birthing with the anxious assistance of the Butterfly Girls. The pain in your stomach was surely abominable, intolerable, and Shinobu found herself growing more alarmed with every minute the baby wasn’t coming out.
“(y/n), I need you to push harder, alright? Can you do that for me?”
“N-no - where is he?”
“Your husband? I’ll get someone to call him, don’t worry,” Shinobu lied with dawning horror that in the entire time she had known you…she had no actual idea who you were married to. “But he wouldn’t like you see you like this, right? You can do it. Just keep your breathing under control.”
“JUST (beep) OFF, TOMIOKA!” Shinazugawa’s voice bellowed through the Mansion. His stocky form soon appeared, stubbornly acting as an indomitable barrier against the equally stubborn Tomioka who was desperately trying to barge his way through.
“Tomioka, we don’t need unnecessary people here to worry (y/n) more-”
”THAT’S MY WIFE!”
Whether it was because Tomioka had never raised his voice before or the sheer shock of it all or the fact you reached out for his hand, Shinobu and Sanemi let him through.
***
“I thought I was going to lose you when I heard you screaming like that from outside.” Giyuu nuzzled deeper into your neck, absently stroking your baby’s tiny hand. “Don’t scare me like that again.”
You played with the strands of his hair with a teasing smirk. “You did to, banging into the room like that, with the “That’s my wife!”. It was very romantic of you, Giyuu~”
“I was in a rush.” Giyuu smacked his face into the pillow, embarrassed while you laugh.
“Ara ara~ Are you both done cuddling? I want to perform a quick checkup on your baby now, if you don’t mind, and all the Hashira are here to ask you a lot of things, Tomioka.” Shinobu stood at the doorway with her customary smile, a twitching eye and crossed arms. Behind her were the shadows of the others trying to peek over her shoulder or head into the room to congratulate you on your baby or beat up Tomioka (both for some).
“Ask about what?” Giyuu lifted up his head in confusion. You snort at his obliviousness, cooing at your precious sleeping baby before gently passing him to Shinobu.
“MAYBE ABOUT HOW (Y/N) IS YOUR WIFE AND YOU NEVER TOLD US?”
“KYAAAAAAAAAH! That’s so cute of you, Tomioka!”
“Do you hate us all or something?!”
“No…? No one asked and I thought (y/n) would have told you,” Giyuu said blankly, glancing at you with wide blue eyes. You sheepishly raised your shoulders.
“I tried to tell them but we kept getting interrupted or had no chance.”
“You did make us all think you hated (y/n) with your behaviour, Tomioka.” Shinobu raised an eyebrow. “After all, you rarely spoke to her and when you did it was only to reprimand her, but I can see now it was probably out of worry for your child and her…although rather harshly.”
“Oh!” You burst out laughing, shaking so hard you nearly couldn’t take back your awakening baby Shinobu was handing over. “Giyuu’s just very shy! See-”
You pressed a quick peck to his cheek.
Memories of Before
Giyū Tomioka x gn!reader
Word Count: 1,1k
Warning: spoilers for the end of the manga
Ao3
Summary: Cutting your husband Giyū's hair had been just what the two of you needed to make peace with the memories of before.
Tumblr media
On some occasions, you dearly missed being able to run your fingers through the long strands of your husband’s raven mane. When he sat on the patio outside your shared home, sometimes the light shone past his hair in such a way that made it appear as long as it had once been, reaching almost all the way to the small of his back in its spiky fashion. As soon as he shifted in his position, however, the illusion of what had once been would be lost.
You could understand why your husband had made the decision to chop off most of its length, or rather why he had decided to ask you to do it for him, following the battle against Muzan. Not only were memories of his childhood and time as an active demon slayer attached to his long obsidian hair, but it was also difficult to take care of now that he only had one arm instead of two. Washing it had become a chore more than anything, something he couldn’t do without your aid.
It had bothered him a long time before he finally asked you to cut it off one early morning.
You could remember that day rather vividly, the feeling of the cool metal scissors in your hand, the way his long hair felt in your other hand as you gripped it carefully and especially the noise of cutting through strand by strand, careful not to injure your husband in any way.
Before you had gone ahead and cut it off, however, you had asked, “Are you sure, Giyū?” It had been insensitive of you to ask, you knew that now when you looked back upon the distant memory. Your husband was not a man to make brash decisions without putting much thought into them. He was calculated and was able to keep a cool head when others weren’t able to. Doubting him felt like doubting all logical thinking, as though you were doubting his thoughtfulness and thoroughness.
It had not even taken Giyū a second to react. He nodded almost enthusiastically, his hair wildly moving along his head’s motion. You were close to having to calm him down, his excitement for a change obvious to you.
“Let’s do this then.” You muttered to yourself as you grabbed most of his hair with your one hand, only to then move the scissors toward it with your other hand. The first cut was the hardest, there was no doubt there. The sound the scissors made as they cut through his hair was disgusting, you thought. So much so that you shivered involuntarily, but still continued on with your appointed mission. You wanted Giyū to be happy, after all.
It wasn’t your first time cutting someone’s hair, and you also knew it wouldn’t be the last time. Countless times already, you had gone ahead and cut your own hair and even that of a fellow demon slayer, but given your husband an entirely new haircut? That wasn’t something you could say you had done before.
There was a first time for everything, after all.
With each more crunch of the scissors against his dry obsidian hair, more and more strands of it fell to the floor, adding to the hair already contrasting the light wooden floors of your home. The mop of obsidian hair that used to run along his back now settled on the floor, appearing so unfamiliar to you once you peaked down at it. The strands felt almost dead in your hands, long gone and let go of by your husband. Especially as strand by strand fell down, Giyū sat up straighter the more of the weigh of his hair he was relieved of.
Seeing him, your husband, with his hair so short, so different, left you a bit flabbergasted, admittedly. The gasp you let out was louder than intended and something you were unable to hide behind your hand.
With his deep blue eyes sparkling with a newfound livelihood, Giyū turned to look over at you. “What is it, my love?”
You looked at your husband and his new appearance intensely, the way his shorter hair gave him a more carefree appearance and his posture appeared more relaxed than slouched, all those things added up and made him look almost as though he were forming into a better version of himself. His skin did not appear as pale as it always did during his time as a demon slayer anymore and instead took on a more healthy shade, one that allowed for the current red flush of his cheeks to stand out as he looked at you, his lips parted.
At that moment, you realized, your husband looked as stunning as ever. It wasn’t that before his bold choice of a change that he hadn’t been beautiful, because you had always known for your husband to be the most beautiful man you have ever set your eyes upon. Following his haircut, however, there had been something that was as though his flame of life was anew, gifted a new spark to have it burn as bright as ever.
However, no word could describe how you felt when you heard your husband let out laugh after laugh, his laughter almost unstoppable and uncontrollable, something carefree lingering behind it. As though the ghosts and shadows of doubts tied to his back had been banished away, the Giyū he always could have been, was almost reborn and sitting there to shoot you a smile, inviting you to sit on the patio beside him.
You accepted his invite gladly and stepped out onto the patio to settle down beside the love of your life. Then, you rested your head onto his shoulder and let out a sigh, further snuggling into his side.
Teasingly, his head bumped against your head, a short laugh escaping your lips.
From the peripheral of your vision, you could see a hint of a smile playing on your husband’s lips. “Do you think Nezuko and Tanjirou will come by soon again?”
Giyū hummed, a happy-sounding noise you welcomed. “Maybe.”
“They couldn’t stay away from you for a month, even if they tried,” You told him. “I think they like you too much.”
His lips tugged up into a small smile. “You think so?”
Leaning against his side, you felt safe. Careful not to hurt him, you leaned upward and pressed a kiss to the side of his jaw. “Trust me, my love, I know so.”
Your hand meanwhile moved to rest in his hair, gently playing with the short strands of his vivid obsidian hair as though captivated by it. While usually your hand would move further down, combing through the previously long strands, now that wasn’t possible anymore. But you were positive, you could get used to the changes, especially seeing as how your husband was shining as bright as ever.
Hair was never just hair, it had been a larger part of him than you could have ever assumed of it to be. With it, the memories of before were chopped away and all you could do was look forward and welcome a brighter future with open arms.
Hello, after being inactive a long time, I am finally getting all my ideas and draft in place so I will start posting some of the WIP stories! So here is a chapter of something of what I’ve been writing on wattpad, its in Spanish but this is dedicated to those users that belong to the Hispanic talking community <3 I hope u like it <3
Tumblr media
¿Que pasaría si Kyojuro Rengoku, hubiese sido salvado del trágico final de su combate contra la luna creciente Akaza?
¿Podría ser que se enamorara de su salvadora?
¿Y que pasaría si esta misma heroina se enfrentara a la tercera luna creciente?
¿Podría generar un interés en uno de los demonios más poderosos de la corte de Muzan Kibutsuji?
Esta historia tendrá 3 finales que se basarán en las decisiones que tome la lectora y podrá ser un final con Rengoku, Akaza o Tomioka.
El encuentro
No había tiempo que perder, parecía que el día transcurría con normalidad hasta que te diste cuenta de que ya no te encontrabas en tu lugar asiduo de entrenamiento. Tú y Clara pasaban algunos momentos trabajando en algunas cosas que aun te daban problemas y de pronto ¡bam! Las dos ya estaban en otra época y corrían a gran velocidad justo al lado de unas larguísimas vías.
Era obvio que algo había sucedido no muy lejos del punto donde se encontraban, una fuerte vibración estremeció el suelo y el hierro de las vías resonó con fuerza. Apresuraste el paso y con los primeros rayos del sol de la mañana pudiste vislumbrar el causante del estruendo. Justo frente a ustedes dos, estaba un ferrocarril con todos sus vagones violentamente fuera de sus guías y casi al principio de la locomotora, observaste 4 figuras apenas siendo besadas por el amanecer.
A pesar de lo desolador de la escena, parecía no haber heridos de gravedad por lo que tu misión seguía siendo la misma; darle caza al responsable de aquel incidente. En un abrir y cerrar de ojos llegaron al final del tren, entre fuertes sollozos te diste cuenta de que el número de casualidades del accidente había ascendido solo a uno. Un hombre con cabello rubio, bañado en sangre, inmóvil y sentado de rodillas se encontraba en el centro de un grupo de 3 jóvenes que no podían parar de llorar.
La escena era muy clara, a juzgar por las heridas de los otros, el hombre que ahora yacía sin vida, lo había arriesgado todo por ellos y el resto de los pasajeros del tren. Ese acto de valentía despertó en ti un profundo sentimiento de admiración y sin dudarlo te detuviste en seco aterrizando con delicadeza y precisión justo en medio de toda la conmoción. Uno de los chicos, comenzó a proferir cosas que no entendías muy bien, tu sabias hablar japonés, pero la máscara de jabalí que traía puesta en la cabeza hacia que entenderle fuera más difícil, de todos los presentes, te pareció que él era el más peculiar.
"Tic tock", el tiempo seguía corriendo, necesitabas darte prisa o esto no resultaría.
-Disculpa... ¿Quién eres tú? - te preguntó entre sollozos el joven con cabellos rojizos, que tambien se veía mal herido.
-Estoy aquí para ayudarlos- fue lo primero que se te vino a la mente para tratar de ganar su confianza.
- Dime, ¿La persona que volcó el tren, fue el mismo que hizo esto? - le preguntaste mientras señalabas con la mirada a la víctima mortal de aquel combate. El joven asintió y se presentó, pero antes de que continuara lo interrumpiste.
-Kamado-kun, no tenemos mucho tiempo, ¿Podrías indicarme hacia donde se fue? - y aun entre sollozos, señaló un frondoso bosque que se encontraba frente a nosotros. Con tan solo una mirada, Clara lo entendió y proseguiste a decirle:
-Cuando lo alcances, retenlo lo más que te sea posible, te alcanzaré en cuanto termine aquí- Clara asintió y cual destello de luz desapareció creando una ligera brisa entre la copa de los árboles. Comenzaste a preocuparte acerca de lo que los muchachos podrían estar pensando así que intentaste crear conversación para que confiaran un poco más en ti.
-  Dime Kamado-kun, ¿Te encuentras bien? Esa herida parece ser algo serio-  le preguntaste mientras recostabas con delicadez al joven rubio sobre el suelo, bueno, no era rubio enteramente, un brillante tono de carmesí se asentaba en las puntas de su cabello, te pareció un color de cabello bastante singular.
- ¿Acaso, eres doctora? - te preguntó tímidamente otro chico rubio que cargaba una caja de madera en su espalda. La primera impresión que tuviste fue que existía una asombrosa similitud entre ese muchacho y un diente de león, temeroso, pero de un gran corazón.
- Podría decirse que si- respondiste mientras te sentabas en posición de flor de loto a un costado, pero de frente al joven al que habías cambiado de posición.
-Señorita...ya no tiene caso...el ya no está... no se puede hacer nada por el-  me comentaba el joven Kamado en tono de súplica.
- Tranquilo, confía en mí, permíteme ayudarlos. En cuanto termine con él, puedo curar tus heridas, si me lo permites. No parece ser grave, pero se ve bastante profunda- concluiste para centrar toda tu atención al joven rubio que se encontraba recostado, parecía que el joven pelirrojo quería discernir, pero el chico que se presentó como Agatsuma Zenitsu lo detuvo.
Hiciste un recuento rápido de los daños, ojo izquierdo destrozado, plexo solar destruido; corazón, hígado, páncreas, baso, intestinos, costillas, estomago. Todo destruido, quien haya hecho esto, debía ser ridículamente fuerte, ¿Habría sido con un arma? los órganos se veían deshechos cual si hubieran sido dañados por una explosión.
Debías darte prisa y alcanzar a Clara, no querías ni pensarlo, pero por cómo se veían las cosas, el autor de esta escena era demasiado peligroso para dejarlo vivir, aunque pudiera ser una fuente importante de información, simplemente no podías dejarlo suelto.
Después de conocer aquello que había que reparar y con una tenue luz emitida por tus manos comenzaste a preparar su cuerpo. Era una habilidad que recién habías desarrollado, con mucho esfuerzo y entrenamiento lo habías conseguido; y así, transfiriendo algo de tu energía vital, sanaste sus órganos y cerraste sus heridas.
El semblante del joven se veía en total calma y no pudiste evitar imaginar la entereza y la grandeza del espíritu de aquel guerrero para que hubiese podido abrazar a la muerte con semejante paz. El joven Kamado, Agatsuma y el restante al que se referían como Inosuke, no daban crédito a lo que veían, comenzaron a hacerte muchas preguntas, pero al momento que levantaste una de tus manos para que se detuvieran, pararon las palabras.
La siguiente parte era la más complicada y requería toda tu concentración, puesto en palabras simples; debías encontrar el alma del joven y regresarla a su cuerpo. Típicamente cuando alguien muere y su alma se dirige al " mas allá " existe un tiempo de gracia en el cual el alma aún se encuentra atada al cuerpo con el que vino a este mundo. Con el entrenamiento adecuado, energía vital suficiente y un cuerpo receptor en óptimas condiciones, un difunto puede regresar a la vida.
Sin embargo, no hay que olvidar que esto no deja de presente que si llegaras a abusar de este poder podrías ocasionar consecuencias desastrosas, tales como de las que has venido huyendo desde el día en que naciste.
Sin darle más importancia a esos pensamientos te concentraste, cerraste los ojos, uniste tus palmas a la altura de tu pecho formando un ángulo de noventa grados en ambos codos, sincronizaste tu respiración y comenzaste a buscar. No fue para nada difícil, puesto que el incidente acababa de ocurrir, la encontraste de inmediato. Comenzaste a sentir un fuerte calor abrazador, el espíritu de este chico de verdad no tenía comparación, jamás te habías topado con algo similar. Extendiéndole la mano la tomaste y de golpe abriste los ojos para decir:
- Lo encontré- y justo en ese momento el chico que estaba dormido despertó tomando una fuerte bocanada de aire para después comenzar a toser violentamente.
- Tranquilo- le dijiste mientras ponías tu mano en su pecho para evitar que se levantara
- No te levantes todavía y tómalo con calma- te quitaste rápidamente la chaqueta que traías puesta, la enrollaste y levantando suavemente su cabeza se la colocaste de almohada. Al instante que retirabas tu mano, el muchacho te sujetó gentilmente por la muñeca sin poder articular palabra, a lo que solo sonreíste para decirle:
-Tranquilo, tu visión regresará en cuestión de minutos, tu cuerpo y tu alma necesitan un momento para darse cuenta en donde se encuentran- retiraste con suavidad el agarre de tu muñeca y te dirigiste al joven Kamado, pero él y los otros dos chicos se encontraban de rodillas llorando sobre el recién despertado.
-Rengoku-san, de verdad... de verdad eres tú? Rengoku-san, no lo puedo creer, estas bien...- decía Tanjiro llorando a todo pulmón, la escena era desgarradora, realmente estos chicos se preocupaban por el que parecía ser su superior, te sentiste tranquila, habías tomado una buena decisión.
Pero el reloj seguía corriendo y de verdad necesitabas ir a donde Clara se encontrará. Te disculpaste por interrumpirlos y dirigiéndote hacia Tanjiro con tu palma sostenida frente a él, le preguntaste con amabilidad
- ¿Puedo? - el, de inmediato comprendió y cerró los ojos esperando el contacto de tus manos sobre la herida de su abdomen. Pero el contacto no era necesario, simplemente colocaste tu mano sobre la zona de su herida, separada del cuerpo como unos 10 cm y esta sanó en cuestión de segundos.
Incrédulo, comenzó a palpar la zona para darse cuenta de que en efecto la herida ya no estaba. Después proseguiste con Agatsuma, el cual te indico con una sonrisa pícara que su cabeza y su pecho eran el problema. Le regalaste una media sonrisita de lado, porque te dio la impresión de que buscaba una excusa para que tus manos tocaran su cuerpo. Era muy interesante como aquel chico siendo tan tímido podía tener aquellas ideas. En cuestión de segundos tu palma irradió una tenue luz y así, rápidamente y para decepción de Zenitsu, habías curado al segundo muchacho.
Parecía que el chico con mascara de jabalí estaba reacio a que te acercaras, pero Tanjiro y Zenitsu lo sujetaron para que pudieras acercarte. Inosuke no tenía heridas graves así que colocaste tu palma a la altura de su pecho y como si de un hechizo se hubiera tratado, el muchacho se quedó completamente tranquilo, emitiendo pequeños gruñidos de complacencia.
Por fin habías terminado con todo lo pendiente, así que con una pequeña reverencia te despediste para irte, pero antes de que te dieras cuenta Tanjiro te había sujetado del brazo para evitar tu partida
- Por favor, aun no, no te vayas. No tenemos manera de agradecerte por lo que has hecho, por lo menos, ¿Podríamos saber tu nombre? - ¿Tu nombre? Todo pasó tan rápido que no te diste cuenta de que no te habías presentado, sabias que para los japoneses las presentaciones siempre son muy importantes, esperabas que no te hubieran tomado por una mal educada.
- Discúlpenme por favor- hiciste otra reverencia- Olvidé por completo presentarme, mi nombre es (T/A), (T/N)-  sonreíste mirando hacia el agarre en el que te tenía el joven Kamado, éste se sonrojo, te soltó y se disculpó de inmediato, mientras él y Zenitsu te hacían una reverencia
- (T/N)-san, muchas gracias! Jamás olvidaremos esto- les sonreíste con tal calidez que Zenitsu se sonrojó de inmediato
- No hay nada que agradecer, fue un honor para mí haberles ayudado. La manera en la que ponen sus vidas en la línea para proteger a los más débiles es lo que hará que este país se convierta en una gran nación en un futuro no muy lejano.
Ahora escúchenme con atención, las heridas de su compañero han sanado, pero por desgracia la sangre que perdió no se recupera a la misma velocidad. En cuanto les sea posible, encuentren un lugar seguro donde pueda descansar y recuperarse, creo que un par de semanas serán suficientes. Procuren que no viaje largas distancias y que coma muy bien. Lo mismo va para ustedes tres. Ahora, sobre aquella cosa que los atacó, ¿podrían darme un poco de información? –
En ese momento, se escuchó la voz de Clara entre cortada saliendo de tu reloj "lo encontré, lo tengo justo frente a mí". Los chicos se sobresaltaron, enmudeciéndose por un momento, pero tu solo pudiste alegrarte de que tu reloj intercomunicador y la contraparte que usaba Clara siguiera funcionando en esta época considerando el estrepitoso viaje en el tiempo que habían realizado.
Le contestaste de inmediato, insegura de si había recibido el mensaje y proseguiste a despedirte de los chicos con una pequeña reverencia para después encaminarte hacia el bosque. Casi al instante de haber escuchado con claridad lo que Tanjiro te había gritado, desapareciste como un destello entre los frondosos árboles.
Enjoy a peek at Giyuu learning how not to act like a virgin when with the person he loves in TGW Part II
Tumblr media
“Well, if you want her first time to be special –”
“It’s not her first time.” Giyuu said bluntly before feeling his ears heat slightly as Tengen raised his eyebrows in surprise. “We – before the final battle –”
“Tengen’s mouth curved into a wicked smile. “Ah, so you just couldn’t wait, huh?”
“Well, obviously it’s hard for women to reach completion their first time, even when you properly prepare them –”
“Prepare?” Giyuu interjected, looking quizically at the Sound Pillar.
“Well, y’know, the stuff ya do before you actually put it in.” Tengen clarified, but he paled at the vacant look in the former Water Pillar’s eyes.
“Y-youd did prepare her, didn’t you?” Tengen demanded, sitting up straighter as his eyes narrowed.
Giyuu only stared back at him with that same, blank look, though Tengen could see the blush creep down his ears and to his neck.
The former Sound Pillar pinched the bridge of his nose between his fingers, eye screwed tightly shut. “Are you telling me,” he grit out. “That you just shoved it in without even stretching her out a bit first? Or at least making sure she was properly lubricated down there?”
Giyuu felt slightly affronted at his friend’s tone. “What do you mean by ‘prepare?’”
Tengen groaned. “Giyuu. Did you use your fingers or your tongue before you put your cock in her?”
He was silent as he thought for a moment. “Was I supposed to?”
Tengen stared in disbelief at the stoic ravenette, before dragging a hand over his face. “Y’know, you shouldn’t be intimate with someone until you know what you’re doing.” He grumbled. “Even Shinazugawa came to me for help before he got with his girl.”
Giyuu cocked his head in confusion. “It’s not like we planned it in advance – it just happened.”
The Sound Pillar’s eye widened in horror. “Giyuu,” he hissed, bracing his hand on his hip. “I’ve seen you change before – you’re not small.” He groaned, loudly at the confusion on his comrade’s face. “Unbelievable – that poor girl.”
“It’s not as though I was rough –” The Water Pillar countered, his tone indignant, but Tengen held up a hand to silence him.
“It doesn’t matter how many times my wives and I get together – I always make sure to prepare them beforehand. Thoroughly.”
Tomioka remained quiet, so Tengen asked, “Do you want to be intimate with her again?”
Giyuu nodded as enthusiastically as someone like Giyuu could, and Tengen sighed. He lowered himself to sit on the large boulder and crossed his legs. “You might as well get comfortable, Tomioka, because you’ve got a lot to learn about female pleasure – and that’s assuming Y/N even lets you back into her bed.”
Possessive Giyuu who can't stand the fact Tengen keeps flirting with you, his favourite kakushi / nurse.
Possessive Giyuu who is a lil bit yandere and a lil bit delusional and fuck you hard, to remind you who you belong to.
Possessive Giyuu who makes sure you can't walk the next day and your whole body is full of hickeys.
You're his, and you would do damn well to remember it.
- Beer anon 🍻
I think about a quarter of my asks are for Giyuu lol. Yandere is not my thing so it may be a bit more toned down than you wanted but I hope it's still okay.
Enjoy!!
Mine- Giyuu x fem!reader
Giyuu couldn't stand it.
The way you laughed at Tengen's childish humor as he sat in the infirmary bed made the water hashira's mood even more sour than usual. He and the sound hashira had both been injured on their latest mission– which he had initially thought of as something of a blessing because it meant he got to see you again. But he was hating every second of it.
"I'm just saying," Tengen smirked as you handed him his medication. "These bitter pills go down easier with a little bit of sweetness, and you're about as sweet as they come. I'll be back to my full strength in no time"
You laughed adorably and shook your head. "You're too kind, Lord Tengen."
Giyuu's hands gripped the bedsheets.
He couldn't even blame Tengen. He wasn't even sure that the sound hashira was actually trying to make a move on you. The man was happily married to three women he adored. Tengen was just a naturally charismatic and flirtatious guy, and you… well, he couldn't blame you for blushing. It's not like you were doing it on purpose.
And it wasn't as though Giyuu could legitimately claim you as his either. You'd kissed a few times and he'd used his fingers to make you cum once in the medical supplies closet, but that had all been over the space of a year and neither of you had ever discussed making it an official thing.
Still though…
His eyes were as still and serene as the deepest lagoon, but inside he was raging. It shouldn't matter, but it did. It mattered a great deal. You were one of the only good parts of his life, one of the only people he didn't feel like he had to be so closed off from. And tucked away safely in the infirmary instead of out there with the demons, you were safe enough for him to trust that you weren't about to die on him.
He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself.
"Tomioka-sama. Your medication…"
Tomioka… sama? So damn formal. So detached. He took the medication from your hand and swallowed it without a word, turning away from you.
Did you have to have such pretty damn eyes?
Later that afternoon, the sound hashira was napping, but Giyuu simply couldn't. Your footsteps padded softly through the infirmary, making his heart beat faster when it sounded as though you were coming close, only to fill him with disappointment when they faded.
No, he couldn’t stand this a minute longer.
He was injured but not so badly that he couldn’t walk. With a pained grunt he got out of bed and began his search for you. It only took him a couple of minutes.
“Giyuu,” you hissed, a look of surprise and annoyance on your face. “What are you doing out of bed?”
He grabbed your hand and pulled you into the storage closet, kicking the door shut behind him as he pinned your arms to the wall above your head and pressed a heated, claiming kiss to your lips.
The way your eyebrows shot up and then slowly relaxed as he kissed you, the way you were immediately silenced by his lips and your body went from startled stiffness to relaxed compliance. Oh yes…this is what he needed.
This was much better.
He pressed his body against yours, loving the way you moaned against his lips. His heart fluttered as you kissed him back; so soft and deep, your tongue caressing his as you sighed longingly. Releasing his grip on your wrists, his hands followed the curves of your body, clumsy in their desperation to feel every perfect inch of you.
Finally he pulled back and gazed into your eyes.“Do you want me to make you cum?”
You nodded and he could see the desperation in your face. “Yes.”
“That’s what I wanted to hear.” His kisses trailed down to your neck, his mouth hot and wet against your skin.
He worked open the buttons on your uniform as he began to suck your neck, harder and harder, intent on leaving a mark. He wanted every damn person who saw you know that you were his.
You moaned as he pinned your hips with his, his body heavy and warm against yours. “Giyuu…”
A low hum of approval emerged from him as his rough, battle-worn hands caressed your skin. "So soft. I could do this every day and never get tired of it." He kissed you fiercely, as his hands moved downward, slipping under your skirt.
His fingers circled your clit, and the corner of his mouth tilted into a smirk. You were so wet already, you wanted him just as badly as he wanted you, and knowing this made his dick painfully hard. Every little moan you made, every gasp or sigh of pleasure made him ache.
The way you gasped his name made him feral. He pulled his pants down to the tops of his thighs and took your hand, bringing it to his cock. The sight of your hand wrapped around it made his balls tighten.
"Stroke it for me," he whispered, tugging your earlobe with his teeth as he continued stroking your clit.
The moment you started to pump his cock in your soft hands, a shiver ran through his body. He was so damn needy for you, groaning as he rutted against your palm, baring his teeth as you swiped your thumb over his tip and coated it in his precum.
“You’re getting me so hard.” He couldn't stand it a moment longer. "I need to fuck you," he growled through gritted teeth.
"Mm…Yes."
"Yeah? You want me to fuck this pretty pussy and make you mine?"
"Gods, yes, Giyuu…" Your breath was hot and hard against his lips as he hoisted you into his arms and set your ass down on a table stacked with supplies.
He pressed his cock to your entrance, sliding it up through your folds and coating it in your wetness. “I want you to watch. I want you to see me take you.”
You did as he asked, your breaths coming in shallow pants as he pushed into you. The sight of his cock disappearing inside you made you both choke out wanton groans.
“So wet for me,” he grunted as he began to thrust into you. He pressed his teeth to his lower lip as his brow furrowed. He fucked you hard and fast, making damn sure you felt every inch of him pounding into you. You weren't about to forget him. You were going to remember this fuck for the rest of your life.
The table squeaked with every thrust, supplies falling off and rolling across the floor. He'd deal with that later. All that mattered now was that you were his.
The wet slap of skin on skin filled the supply closet. The sound of your wet pussy taking him was so beautifully vulgar it made his back arch.
You put your head back. "Oh Gods..."
"Yeah, I'm fucking you good, huh?"
"S-so good."
“Tell me you're mine. Tell me this pussy is mine.”
“Giyuu, please… I’m so close.”
He stopped thrusting, keeping his cock buried deep inside you as your muscles clenched around him. “No, that’s not what I said. Tell me you’re mine… say I'm yours. Those words, or you don’t get to cum.”
“I’m yours,” you gasped, out of your mind with desire. “I’m yours.”
“Good… now, the next time someone is flirting with you, I want you to tell them that, okay? I want you to tell them you belong to me.”
You nodded, desperation cracking your voice. "Yes."
He leaned down, cupping your face in his hands as he kissed you. "Who do you belong to?"
"You."
"Who fucks your pussy better than anyone else ever could?"
"You do, Giyuu."
He smirked, thrusting hard into you and pulling a cry from your lips. His fingers gripped your hips, pulling you onto him with all his hashira strength. "Good. Fucking. Girl."
Your muscles pulsed around his cock as you came apart, your hands grasping at him as he kept on fucking you throughout your orgasm. He wasn't much further behind you, pulling out and shooting hot ropes of cum all over your thighs and your belly, staggering as he rode the waves of his release.
As he came back down to earth he pulled you upright, his lips crashing against yours as he gripped the back of your neck. "I'm gonna remind you who you belong to tomorrow," he whispered. "And then every day after, okay?"
"Okay," you whispered, leaning your forehead against his. "I might have forgotten by this afternoon though. You might have to drill it into me."
Giyuu laughed, cupping your face in his hands. "Deal."
Yes... this was much better.
