National Cheesecake Day
Berry, chocolate, just plain cheesecake…whatever your favorite, try  making it yourself or visit a bakery or restaurant to enjoy this sweet, cheesy treat.
National Cheesecake Day is one of the creamiest days  of the year! It’s a day to indulge in the decadence of this dessert, and sample some of the tastiest flavors. From the humble plain baked to the tangy key lime or maybe a chocolate one would hit the spot. Whatever grabs that sweet tooth it is certain that today is the day for some cheesecake!
History of National Cheesecake Day
Although the original National Cheesecake Day was conceived and first celebrated in 1985, it didn’t really take off until 2001 when the power of the internet helped its cause. It then gained traction and became a sensation that is now celebrated all over the world!
Dating back to its invention by the Ancient Greeks, probably around  200 A.D., cheesecake was believed to have been one of the first “sweet”  desserts in the world. Or at least, it was one of the first to be written down! In its earlier time, this dish was originally made from a  soft cheese but was probably very different from what we now know as  cheesecake.
Over the centuries, cheesecake moved around the world and popped up  as different expressions in different regions. For instance, cheesecake  in Italy is traditionally made with their favorite, ricotta cheese. Cheesecakes in Germany and Poland are often made with a special kind of soft cheese called “quark”. And, of course, American cheesecake uses its own home invention: cream cheese.
But no matter the variation, cheesecake is a tasty invention that has  developed and evolved over time into something that almost everyone in  the world loves to eat!
How to Celebrate National Cheesecake Day
Celebrating National Cheesecake Day is super easy! Just eat, bake and  enjoy cheesecake of any variety. Try these ideas for getting creative  with celebrating the day:
Eat Some Cheesecake
The most obvious way to celebrate is to grab a piece to-go, pick up a  whole cheesecake at a bakery and take it to the office to share, or  even get a boxed mix and make an easy refrigerator cheesecake at home. No matter how it’s done the most important thing on this day is to  somehow, some way, get cheesecake into that belly!
Make a Cheesecake
Depending on the recipe chosen, making cheesecake can either be simple or a little bit fussy. A true cheesecake recipe will be made from ingredients such as cream cheese, sour cream, and eggs, then baked in  the oven for about an hour or more. It is important to bake it slowly on a low temperature to keep it from cracking. This is the way cheesecake is made at a bakery or at a specially themed restaurant such as The Cheesecake Factory.
Some simpler versions of cheesecake recipes are no-bake, which  instead use the refrigerator to get cream cheese, whipping cream or other ingredients to set up into a dessert. These recipes typically do not include eggs as the cake is not baked. But they are still deliciously tasty!
Get Creative with Cheesecake Recipes
A slice of classic, New York style cheesecake is nothing to complain about! But some people like to mix things up a bit and get more creative with the way they make their cheesecakes. Try these unique styles of cheesecake for fun, or make up your own:
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake. Enjoy the fun of this classic American cookie alongside the beauty of a delectable cheesecake! It includes actual chocolate chip cookie dough in the batter, and is topped with actual chocolate chip cookies.
Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cheesecake. A  tasty strawberry flavored cheesecake is poured into a graham cracker crust, then finished off with a chocolate ganache topping reminiscent of chocolate covered strawberries. It’s a dessert-lover’s dream.
Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Cheesecake. Another  American favorite, peanut butter and Nutter Butter cookies are included in this recipe that is baked and then topped with a yummy peanut butter sauce and then garnished with peanut butter cookies.
Cannoli Cheesecake. Channel that inner Italian baker with this yummy recipe that embraces ricotta and mascarpone cheeses on a graham cracker crust and is topped with mini  chocolate chips.
Host a Cheesecake Gathering
While friends, family and neighbors can be invited, the guest of  honor at this particular event must be the venerable Cheesecake! Get a bunch of folks together for this day and have a few different people bring a plain cheesecake each. Ask some others to bring along some toppings for a toppings bar, and then get to eating!
For a cheesecake toppings bar, include different fruit, candy or  sauce options that people with different preferences might like to try. Canned pie fillings make easy and tasty toppings in cherry, strawberry or blueberry. Fresh strawberries or mandarin oranges are also a great  idea.
Sauces for the cheesecake toppings bar can include chocolate, caramel  or peanut butter. Add some dishes filled with nuts such as pecans, peanuts or slivered almonds. Some toasted coconut would also make a lovely addition.
And don’t forget candies such as chocolate chunks, ice cream  sprinkles, pieces of snickers bars or even gummy bears. The options are basically endless!
Head to New York for Some Cheesecake
Maybe it’s not the actual place of origin for cheesecake, but New  Yorkers would argue that it’s the only place to get a real slice of the good stuff! This style of pure cheesecake, with no fancy ingredients, became popular in New York in the early 1900s and the recipes really have not changed much since then.
In order to get access to the best cheesecakes in New York, it will  likely be necessary to visit a few different bakeries or restaurants, including:
Veniero’s Paticceria and Cafe. An authentic Italian Bakery located in the East Village since 1894, this bakery does the New York cheesecake just perfectly.
Junior’s Restaurant. Since  1950, Junior’s Restaurant has been making cheesecakes at the same  family owned location in Brooklyn. It’s now a chain with storefronts in a few other locations throughout the NYC area.
Eileen’s Special Cheesecake. In business for more than 45 years, this bakery began with a recipe that was passed down by Eileen’s mom. Her Nolita location offers at least 20  flavors but, of course, the classic New York style is always on offer.
La Cheesecake Bake Shop. Aptly named, this takeout counter in Queens has been offering “light as air” cheesecakes, along with other delicious baked goods, since 1985.

In Heda's Delights, does Lexa make special pumpkin flavored baked goods and treats during Halloween? What are Aden and Clarke's favorite ones to steal off the counter?
Of course! Lexa loves doing seasonal baking and with local ingredients so when its pumpkin season, she goes all out 🥰
Lexa does a bunch! Layered cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, pumpkin loaf, cheesecake and, of course, pumpkin pie. Now there are two types of cakes in Heda's Delights bakery: the more elaborate cutesy ones, so nicely decorated with pumpkins and ghosts that Lincoln so happily decorates and the more simple, homemade looking, with a rustic feeling that Lexa decorates.
Clarke's favorite cakes have always been the ones Lexa has been making since they were teenagers, it just touches this nostalgic point in her, just a seventeen year old kid, sitting in Lexa's parents' kitchen watching her bake, absolutely in love with her.
And the one Lexa always made around this time that is now a best seller is her layered pumpkin and chocolate marble cake with a nice chocolate ganache. Clarke is downright obsessed with it, missed it so dearly when she was in Paris (she missed all of Lexa's baking. She was surrounded by the best pastries and yet all she wanted was Lexa's). Lexa tends to save a slice for her since they go so fast so when Clarke and Aden walk in in the afternoon after Clarke picks him up from school, she has it saved for her, along side a pumpkin spice latte.
Aden doesn't like pumpkin 😅 he says it tastes gross, but much like Clarke, his ultimate favorite cake ever is red velvet and Lincoln makes these adorable cake pop caldrons with Lexa's red velvet cake that Aden loves alongside a warm mug of hot chocolate, with pumpkin shaped marshmallows.
If its not too busy, Lexa will sit down with them with a slice of the pumpkin and chocolate cake too, the one she didn't eat for years because it reminded her of Clarke too much and a warm coffee, enjoying her little family's company on a chilly fall's day 🥰

Character Intro: Keraon (Kingdom of Ichor)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nicknames- Sweetface by Promylaia
Age- 18 (immortal)
Location- Mania district, New Olympus
Personality- He's definitely the more outgoing one of the trio! He likes finding the light & humor in any situation and he surely has a "bitey" sense of humor- no filter. He's casually dating.
He has the standard abilities of a god. Being the god of baking & wine mixing, his powers/abilities include limited alcokinesis, glycopoeia (can transform anything into a candy or sweet), limited chlorokinesis (as it pertains to vine plants, like grapes & strawberries), and he has the ability to create a sonic burp (that can even shatter adamantine coated glass).
Keraon lives in a high rise apartment in the Mania district of New Olympus. When he looks out his living room window, at a distance, he can spot The Void nightclub. There's always the lingering scent of powdered sugar in his apartment.
Aside from the joint business venture he has with his cousin & brother, he's also a contributing writer for Deipneus' culinary magazine. Keraon also has his own business- a dessert truck called Cake n' Bake. Other sweet treats served are his mom's honey & butter biscuits, bukkumi (sweet rice cake dumplings), & hotteok (a savory cinnamon hotcake). He has plans of opening an official shop in Achaea. He also has his own merch- T-shirts, hats, keychains, mugs, and phone cases.
His go-to drink is a frosted almond, coffee, & coconut cream milkshake. He also likes red wine, frozen cranberry margarita slushies, rum & cokes, beer, & makgeolli.
Keraon's shirtless pics are always a favorite among his Fatestagram followers!
He loves snacking on gimbap & tzatziki flavored potato chips.
Keraon still has a close relationship with his parents, Promylaia and Trochilus (god of the mill wheel).
His favorite sandwich from The Bread Box is the fried chicken one (with a hot sauce based mayo). He also likes a toasted poppy seed bagel with butter.
In the pantheon (much like the rest of his family), he doesn't like Demeter (goddess of the harvest & agriculture). Keraon is friends with Dionysus (god of wine), Pandaisia (goddess of banquets), Komos (god of revelry), Auxo (goddess of summer, vegetation, & plants), Horme (god of energy), Eupraxia (goddess of well-being & success), Thallo (goddess of spring & new growth), Agon (god of sports & contests) Carpo (goddess of autumn & fruits), Hedylogos (god of sweet talk & flattery), and The Muses. Keraon's official mentor was Agathodaemon (Daemon) (god of vineyards, grainfields, & luck).
Keraon's ultimate favorite frozen treat is the piña colada waffle cone sundae from The Frozen Spoon (added with extra toasted shredded coconut flakes, grilled pineapple tidbits, maraschino cherries, and a coconut glaze).
Some of his favorite desserts include beignets, honey sticky buns, ekmek kataifi, karydopita, & Hestia's red velvet cheesecake.
Keraon gave Aergia (goddess of sloth, idleness, & laziness) her first kiss, after she approached him during a Summer Solstice Music Festival, wanting to know what it was like to kiss someone. They made the "kissing appointment" the next week, at her cottage. He remembers everything about that day. How dark her brown eyes got, how soft her lips felt & how they tasted like powdered sugar, how in sync their breathing and moaning was, & how good it felt to have her fingers graze through his long curly hair. The kissing went on for a few minutes before Gia stopped it when his hand made its way inside her tank top- to the front of her bra. After a quick "thank you", she slammed the door in his face- leaving him completely witless & confused.
He sometimes entertains the dates his mother sets him up on, more so than his brother. On one date (with a maenad), they snuck onto Dion's vineyard in Thebes where they hooked up!
In his free time (other than cooking & baking), Keraon loves skateboarding, rollerblading, bowling, kickboxing, going to amusement parks, and playing video games. He's even learning to dance hip-hop from Terpischore (muse of dance).
Some of his favorite dishes include bulgogi with white rice, bossam, kimchi stew, dirty rice, crab & lobster mac n' cheese, and sausage gumbo.

CLASSIC PAIRINGS OF KAFFEE AND DESSERTS: GUIDE BY KIOSK KAFFEE
The Aroma of the Coffee The coffee aroma is just as important as the taste and mouthfeel in pairing it with the perfect dessert. If the coffee has no distinct coffee aroma, it is likely to lack flavour as well. So the best way to tell if an aromatic coffee will go well with your dessert or dessert recipes is to see how it blends with the dessert you’re planning. According to the Kiosk Kaffee experts, coffees can have complex flavour notes like nutty and floral, so consider these characteristics when deciding on the best dessert pairing. Avoid coffees and desserts with similar flavour profiles, unless there are other flavour profiles that can be enhanced. You wouldn’t want to pair a Kiosk Nutty Nutella with a slice of nutella pie, for example. The light roast has the lightest body and the highest acidity of the three roasts. It tastes smooth and mellow. Cookies, fresh fruit tarts, meringues, and fluffy cakes go well with light roasted coffee. The citrus flavours in the coffee beans are brought out by the short roasting time.
In comparison to light roasted coffee, medium roasted coffee has a balanced flavour and is acidic in nature. This coffee goes well with creamy desserts with a light texture and even a spice element, such as tiramisu, crème brulee, apple pie, carrot cake, banana cake, and fruit cheesecakes. Dark roasted coffee has a distinct smoky flavour. It is not particularly acidic, but it has a substantial body. These best coffees have a rich, silky texture and a flavour that lasts. They go well with biscotti, croissants, and rich desserts such as thick cheesecakes, heavy chocolate cakes, and sweet nutty desserts such as pecan pie or baklava. The creamy and sweet flavours in these delicacies balance out the bitterness of the coffee. The flavours emerge stronger and better when the coffee is served as an espresso.
Let’s take a look at some of your favourite coffee and dessert pairings, whether it’s a morning sweet treat with your cup of Kiosk Kaffee or a dessert before bed paired with a mug of your favourite joe.
Kiosk’s Dark Chocolate Cookie Best served with: Light or medium roast coffee. You can’t go wrong with a chocolate dessert, and a perfectly brewed mug of Kiosk Kaffee enhances an already delicious dessert. So don’t be surprised if a platter of these chewy, comforting dark chocolate chunk cookies vanishes moments after they come out of the oven. The cookies’ intense cocoa flavour stands up well to a bolder, darker roast.
Kiosk’s Milk Chocolate Cookie Best served with: Dark roast coffee Is it a dessert or a snack? Kiosk Milk Chocolate Cookies can be whatever you want them to be! Chocolate cookies are frequently the ultimate snack for both adults and children. Despite its origins in the United States, Kiosk Kaffee – the best coffee cafe has explored all the width and dimensions of the cookie world to bring out the best for you! Kiosk milk chocolate cookies are thin, slightly crisp around the edges, but surprisingly chewy, soft, and chocolate-filled!
Kiosk’s Red Velvet Cookie Best Served with: Iced Drinks Kiosk’s Iced Americanos, like lattes, are popular among coffee enthusiasts. They are typically made by combining espresso and hot mineral water to produce a softer espresso. This means that Americanos are often more full-bodied than lattes, so pair them with medium / fairly rich desserts. We prefer to pair it with Kiosk red velvet cookies out of all the options available. Not only are they strong enough to be heard over the flavour of the drink, but they are simply delicious to eat with a Kiosk Kaffee blend.

Food in Denver
On February 18, 1861, six chiefs of the Southern Cheyenne and four of the Arapaho signed the Treaty of Fort Wise with the United States at Bent's New Fort at Big Timbers near what is now Lamar, Colorado. They ceded more than 90 percent of the lands designated for them by the Fort Laramie Treaty, including the area of modern Denver. Some Cheyennes opposed to the treaty, saying that it had been signed by a small minority of the chiefs without the consent or approval of the rest of the tribe, that the signatories had not understood what they signed, and that they had been bribed to sign by a large distribution of gifts. The White-settler territorial government of Colorado, however, claimed the treaty was a "solemn obligation" and considered that those Indians who refused to abide by it were hostile and planning a war.
Ten days later, on February 28, 1861, the Colorado Territory was created, Arapahoe County was formed on November 1, 1861, and Denver City was incorporated on November 7, 1861. Denver City served as the Arapahoe County Seat from 1861 until consolidation in 1902. In 1867, Denver City became the acting territorial capital, and in 1881 was chosen as the permanent state capital in a statewide ballot. With its newfound importance, Denver City shortened its name to Denver. On August 1, 1876, Colorado was admitted to the Union.
This disagreement on the validity of Treaty of Fort Wise escalated to bring about the Colorado War of 1864 and 1865, during which the brutal Sand Creek massacre against Cheyenne and Arapaho peoples occurred. The aftermath of the war was the dissolution of the reservation in Eastern Colorado, the signing of Medicine Lodge Treaty which stipulated that the Cheyenne and Arapaho peoples would be relocated outside of their traditional territory. This treaty term was achieved, even though the treaty was not legally ratified by the tribal members, as per the treaty's own terms. Thus, by the end of 1860s, this effectively and completely cleared the Denver area of its indigenous inhabitants.

hi barbie !!! can you give me your hottest takes on desserts?
Goodness, dessert hot takes? Let me see what I can come up with.
There are a lot of great warm desserts, but I generally prefer something cold/cool after a warm meal, so ice cream is the ultimate dessert. Non-ice cream food in or with ice cream is usually good, but ice cream and peanut butter is not a great combination.
Vanilla ice cream is not great on its own, but is perfect to cool down warmer dishes.
Chocolate is usually great, but for (non-ice cream) cake/cupcakes, vanilla is better. Red velvet is pretty, but overrated. Cheesecake is also overrated. It's ok with fruity flavors, but gross with chocolatey flavors.
Pecan pie is one of the best pies.
The cherry on top of a sundae should not be eaten first, but saved for last.

Memento Mori Pt 3. (Michael Langdon x Fem!Death!Reader)
Tumblr media
You reached the courtyard of Kineros Robotics in record time, Michael hot at your heels.
“Can you walk a little slower?“ Michael complained, walking quickly beside you to keep up despite his long legs. You weren't lying when you had told him that you were on the clock.
„No can do, kiddo. Now come on, use those wonderful legs of yours,“ you threw at him over your shoulder, your hands searching for the car keys you had stashed in one of the conveniently hidden pockets of your dress without slowing down. Why weren't those a thing yet when humanity had invented every other type of useless thingamabob and yet pockets on a dress were blasphemous, you wondered. The intricacies of humankind often evaded you. The fingers of your right hand grazed the keys in your pocket and with a satisfied smirk you pulled them out.
“I'm not a kid, you know. I'm the Anti-,“ Michael began, irritated.
„The Antichrist, yes and you were born exactly when, 2012? You may not look it Michael, but in the grand scheme of things you're barely an amoeba,“ you interrupted him, not in the mood for any more temper tantrums. Without having to look back at his face, you felt the anger rolling off him in waves. He really was not used to being treated as anything less than the son of Satan. If he wanted you to lick his shoes, he was sorely mistaken. If anything, he should be on his knees before you, praising the universe for having sent you in his hour of need.
Continuing to ignore a seething Michael, your eyes zoned in on your newest toy. A 1965 Black Ford Mustang Convertible with bright red leather seats. Seeing as you were all things considered an ancient being and material things meant positively nothing to you, you did have two weaknesses. Fast food and fast cars. You liked to think that it was due to the human form you took, your immense power being pressed into the confines of a limited body and your patient nature being expressed in a rather paradoxical instant gratification. Thankfully, you couldn't gain any weight nor die in a car crash, remaining ever the same, and so you chose to indulge yourself at every given opportunity. Soon enough, those fleeting pleasures would come to an end. Might as well enjoy it while you could.
You skipped over the curb to the driver's side, admiring the way the inky paint coat glistened in the late afternoon sun, not a speck of dust in sight.
Michael came to stand by the passenger door, now more confused than angry. He was ever-changing, you mused.
“Did, did you sell your soul to my father too?” he asked, mustering the convertible before his eyes searched your face.
“No, Michael,” you chuckled amused. H really didn't know the first thing about the Apocalypse or his place in all of this. Maybe there would be time to give the boy a lesson, but not until you had had a good meal.
“I think I'm out of your dad's league if we're being honest. I am more a collector of souls myself. Your father or God don't actually hold the monopoly even though that's what they like to tell everyone. Tell you what, over dinner you and I will take a little trip down memory lane,” you explained, watching him with intent.
“Liar,” Michael said lowly, processing your words. His icy blue eyes narrowed at you. You could feel his power trying to claw at you, yet it felt distinctly like a kitten lick.
“Oh please, Michael, I don't lie,” you retorted unaffected, your hand grabbing the door handle and sliding into the seat, grabbing the pair of sunglasses on the dashboard and putting them on before looking at Michael, your fingers drumming on the steering wheel. This was not going nearly as well as you had planned and if you wanted to keep the plan you had set in motion rolling, you would undoubtedly need to change course, despite the fact that you loathed having to do so. Death be damned, you thought.
“I don't like repeating myself, Michael. I don't owe you any answers but perhaps I'm growing soft and the fact that you are left to your own devices, trying to figure out the single most monumental task on this rock hurtling through space has me feeling a little...sympathetic,” you stated, leaning over to push open the passenger door as a sign of goodwill.
“Tell you what, you can ask me all the questions you like, deal?”
Michael contemplated for a few seconds. He didn't like to admit it but so far he hadn't been the one to come up with any good plans that didn't involve The Omen 3 plot and his father had been absent throughout his accent so far. He didn't trust you or anybody bar Ms. Mead and yet you presented an enigma to him, one he needed to crack open. He was brilliant at problem-solving and he would solve you too, he thought to himself, a little grin creeping into the corner of his mouth. His invisible claws retracted.
“Deal. But I get to ask as many as I want,” he replied, pulling the door open all the way and plopping himself into the passenger seat beside you, arms crossed over his broad chest.
“Fine, a deal's a deal,” you groaned only halfheartedly, shooting him a grin of your own as you fired up the engine and pulled out onto the road. You really did have your work cut out for you. Lucky for Michael, he was so easy on the eyes that you didn't mind as much as you should have. You pressed the 'on' button of the radio and stifled a laugh at the song that had just started playing:
I see the bad moon a-rising I see trouble on the way I see earthquakes and lightnin' I see bad times today
Don't go around tonight Well it's bound to take your life There's a bad moon on the rise
°°° 20 Minutes later, you pulled into a parking lot, turned off the engine, hopping out of the car, and came around to Michael's side to take an unneeded but deep breath, filling your lungs with crisp evening air and the distinct smell of desert. The sun had just begun to set, a slight chill setting in and the last remaining rays illuminated Michael's blond hair in a way that reminded you an awful lot of his father before the fall. You let your gaze wander over his sitting form for a second, before lightly slapping the arm he had draped over the side of the car, lost in his own thoughts.
“Come on, Angel, we're here,“ you chided playfully, knowing it would rile the blonde man up unnecessarily. On cue, Michael's gaze shot up to meet your own, nostrils flaring at the more than holy pet name.
“Don't call me that! I'm anything but that!“ he bit out but couldn't keep the blush from creeping up his neck. He didn't like the way you made him feel. Weak and unsure of himself. No power he had encountered could match his, not even Cordelia's and then you came along. As if he wasn't already feeling insecure enough, even after having massacred the witches and warlocks, you only added to the sense that he hadn't yet achieved what he was meant to do, or be where his father expected him to be. Sensing his unease, you tussled his locks with your left hand, pulling him out of his self-induced reverie.
“There is nothing a good cake can't fix, Michael. Trust me,” you smiled at him, hoping he would pull himself together and get out the car. At the word cake, he did perk up, finally glancing behind you to look at where you had taken him.
“The Cheesecake Factory, really?” he looked up at you quizzically, disbelieving. If you were in fact Death, and he wasn't yet sure you weren't lying to him despite your overpowering aura, shouldn't you be dining in some high-class restaurant on the other end of town where they didn't even have prices on the menu?
“Are you food shaming me?” you retorted, one eyebrow shooting up.
“Err, no. It just doesn't...suit you,” Michael replied, his right hand coming to massage the back of his neck, embarrassment evident at his remark.
“Wouldn't you like to know what does and doesn't suit me. If you must know, it's kind of my thing. Don't ask me why but I just can't keep my hands off sweet things,” you explained, winking at him and only adding to his embarrassment. Before the Antichrist could slide any further down your passenger seat and be swallowed whole by the ground, you opened his door and gestured for him to get out.
“Relax. You clearly don't know how to take a joke. Come on, I can smell the cakes from here.” You turned on your heels, cape dress swishing behind you as you made your way across the parking lot to the entry. You weren't quite sure your words were meant as a joke but that was a heart-to-heart you'd have with yourself later. The only sweet thing on your mind right now was cake and soda. The slam of the car door indicated that Michael had managed to detach himself from the red leather interior and he jogged up beside you, matching your stride.
“I hope you're hungry. I'm paying,” you said, smiling with glee and making Michael chuckle. Another thing to add to your slowly growing list of likes about the spawn of Satan, you noted to your dismay.
°°° You placed the fork neatly back onto the now empty plate, devoid of even the smallest crumb, that had held an entire ultimate red velvet cake, groaning blissfully. Eyes closed, you swallowed down the last bite. Opposite you, Michael had stopped eating his pasta dish some time ago. When you had said that there is nothing a cake couldn't fix, you had meant an entire cake after all.  The hunger you felt whenever you were in a human body was not easily satiated. Something that Michael or the waiter were clearly not prepared for. Both had been watching you for the last 5 minutes, jaws slack, as piece after piece traveled on the fork and into your mouth.
“That was positively delicious,” you hummed, casting a glance at Michael, fork suspended in mid-air.
“W-would you like anything else, Miss?” the waiter stuttered, taking your plate and admiring it as if it were a rare antiquity.
“Oh no, I think I've been quite naughty enough, don't you think?” you giggled, reaching for the Fanta and taking a large sip.
“Michael, you've hardly touched your food,” you noted, your voice rousing the young man out the trance your display of gluttony had placed him under. He cleared his throat, putting the fork down, adjusting his seat on the table.
“I'm not hungry anymore.”
“Oh, ok, well in that case we'd like the bill please,” you addressed the waiter with a satisfied grin, gulping down the last remnant of orange soda in your glass.
“Hey, you said you'd answer my questions! I knew you were a liar!” Michael intercepted, trying his best to keep his voice down.
“ I don't lie, Michael. You chose to watch me enjoy some cake instead of asking questions, didn't you?” you countered, your elbows coming to rest on the table, fingers intertwining. His anger and frustration bubbled to the surface once again. If he weren't the Antichrist, you were sure he would have a heart attack by the time he hit 30. His body tensed at your statement of truth, eyes squinting menacingly at you. Yet you were right, he had been so busy watching you, he had forgotten all about the myriad of questions buzzing in his mind like moths around a flame. His eyes fluttered shut briefly, gulping down the rage that threatened to burst out his chest. You watched as the blonde man tried to gain back his composure, your finger coming to run along the rim of the empty glass in front of you.
“Michael,” you demanded. His eyes opened to meet your own and you could see his restraint hanging by a thread in them. He did have a temper and you didn't want him setting fire to your favourite restaurant just yet.
“I'm in a good mood tonight. Instead of just answering your questions, I would like to show you something that will answer almost all of them. A deal is a deal,” you tried to reason. Michael mulled your words over in his head, sizing you up while doing so.
“Oh for goodness sake, Michael! I'm not trying to manipulate you. I'm trying to help you!” you exclaimed, exasperated at his hesitance and mistrust. While you knew his beginnings on this earth weren't exactly peppered in love, warmth and trust, you couldn't afford him seeing you as the enemy. Neither could he.
“If you don't believe me, take a peek. Make it last, this will be a one-off,” you encouraged him, an invisible finger beckoning him closer and allowing him limited access to your mind momentarily. Michael's mind pushed through your doors, grazing, flitting over millennia of memories before you let him look at your core.
No lies, Michael, you see?
You eased him out and sealed the doors shut tightly once again, leaning back in your chair, the restaurant coming back into focus.
“Here's your bill, Miss. Thank you for stopping by at the Cheesecake Factory tonight,” the waiter had brought you the bill. Wordlessly, you handed him a 100$ bill, nodding your head briefly at him to suggest that he could keep the change and waited for Michael's response.
“Ok,” Michael finally replied, rolling his head on his shoulders, resulting in a gratuitous cracking sound. You weren't sure if he was entirely satisfied with your show of goodwill. Not that it mattered.
“Let's take a walk,” you suggested, getting up without even the slightest hint of a stomach after decimating an entire cake. Michael's eyes never left you and the enigma you were to him just became a lot more enticing. A boyish smirk crossed his face as he stood up to walk in front of you. At the exit, he held open the door.
“My, my Michael. Didn't take you for a gentleman,” you chuckled, gracefully pushing past him and into the cool night air.
“My Ms. Mead would expect nothing less of me,” he offered, not bothering to hide his Cheshire cat smile. You had allowed him access to your mind and the things he saw, he desperately wanted to see again. You were like a box of confectioneries to him. For once in his life, his pride and ever-growing sense of entitlement took the backseat.  He felt like he had finally met someone of his own caliber and the feeling was exhilarating to him. You weren't his father but you were the next best thing and best of all, right in front of him.

Do you think you could write more sugar daddy Tony and sugar baby Peter? Pretty please
Darling anon, I hope you like this.
Peter is the ultimate Sugar Baby, but very reluctantly at the start.
cw: daddy kink; sugar baby kink; power imbalance kink; manipulative tony; wealth kink; d/s; naive but fiery peter.
Peter is ecstatic when Tony finally gets home from a long day of meetings. He’s only been gone for 12 hours, but Peter missed him so much he ached. Peter meets him at the doorway to kiss him before Tony’s even kicked his shoes off. Has his arms looped around Tony’s neck, whispering, “Missed you,” against his cheek as Tony laughs and carries him into the kitchen.
It’s moments like this that are the best. The little homely moments. When Tony’s heating leftover pasta up and shovelling it into his mouth straight from the pan because he always forgets to eat during the day, while Peter sits cross-legged at the table frowning at the equations in his copy book. Knowing soon they’ll kiss on the couch and go to bed early to cuddle.
The domestic bliss is shattered later when Tony says, “We’ve been invited to the opera next week. Jansen’s coming over on Friday afternoon for a fitting.”
Peter freezes, mid-way through digging a spoon into a new tub of Ben & Jerry’s.
“Since when have we been invited to the opera?”
“Since about three hours ago.”
“Tony, do I have to? The fitting I mean?”
Tony doesn’t look at him, just continues scrolling through emails on his phone.
“Yeah baby, you do.”
“But…”
Peter kicks his legs out petulantly where he’s sitting on the kitchen counter, the open pint of Ben & Jerry’s momentarily forgotten.
“But what? You want to go in your NASA t-shirt and jeans, is that it?” Tony says a little sharply, as he types out an email one-handed.
Peter frowns, bottom lip sticking out.
Tony could be cruel sometimes, especially when he was tired. Usually Peter would curl around him and say something like, “Why so prickly, Daddy?”, peppering kisses along his jaw until Tony would melt in his arms.
But the thought of seeing all those people, the ones who cut through Peter and his clothes, like he’s just Mr Stark’s new boy toy, makes his blood boil.
“I have plenty of clothes! I don’t need any more. What about that polka dot thing you got me two weeks ago? That looks like a swimsuit from the 1920s.”
“That’s summer wear, baby, you know that. We need something season appropriate.”
“Tony, it’s the first week of September. It’s not even cold yet.”
Tony finally looks up from his phone, snapping the case against it. Peter flinches slightly at his dark look.
“We talked about this, Peter. You wanted us to go public with our relationship. And that means coming with me to these events and looking the part.”
“You wanted to go public, too!”
Tony’s gaze softens. He sits back in his chair, surveying Peter’s pinched brow. How small Peter looks in his tiny shorts and oversized Stark Industries tee.
“Yeah, baby, I did. I do. But there are expectations I need to meet. Pepper might be CEO, but I’m still the face of the company and I need to do these things. And I want you to be at my side.”
“But only if you dress me up like I’m a Barbie,” Peter snaps.
“What is this? Lay into Tony hour? If you can’t be mature enough to have this conversation, then maybe you should take a time out and we’ll come back to it later when you’ve stopped being such a brat.”
Peter seethes. It’s moments like this that he feels like a stupid 15-year-old all over again. Not Tony’s partner. When everything they’ve made together suddenly means nothing, and he’s just a boy being berated by his idol.
“If you want maturity, maybe you shouldn’t date a college student,” he says quietly, grabbing the ice cream and jumping down to head to their room.
He thinks Tony might stop him, that he’s about to feel a hand close over his thin wrist, or a sharp “where the fuck do you think you’re going?” but Tony lets him go. And Peter knows it’s dumb but he feels himself start to cry.
Tony gives him 45 minutes to sulk before coming to find him. Peter stares at his book resolutely as Tony leans in the doorway to their room, watching him.
“You like the ice cream then?” He nods towards the half-eaten tub on the bed next to Peter.
Peter nods stiffly. Tony knows Peter has a sweet tooth and keeps the apartment stocked with ice cream, cookies, frozen waffles and pancake mix all for him.
“What flavour this time?”
“Red velvet with cream cheese swirls.”
“Iron Man colours. I approve.”
Peter can’t help the smile that tugs at the corner of his mouth. Tony always had a real talent to make everything about him.
“I wonder what Spider-Man’s flavour would be,” Tony murmurs as he comes closer, sliding his tie off his neck. “I’m thinking strawberry cheesecake to complement his suit.” He plants one knee on the bed. “Or maybe it could be a Peter Parker flavour. The fluffiest angel food cake you’ve ever had.”
Before Peter can respond, Tony has jumped onto the bed and pulled Peter into his lap. Peter squeaks, tries to elbow him in the ribs and knock him off, but Tony cages him in with his arms. He huffs a quiet laugh into Peter’s neck when he refuses to look at him, then scratches his stubble along his throat. Peter bites back a moan, but can’t stop the tilt of his head.
“Tell me what’s bothering you, angel,” Tony nuzzles against his throat. “I’m sorry for being mean.”
“It’s nothing, forget about it.”
“I said tell me, baby. Tell your mean old Daddy everything.”
“Just didn’t know I embarrassed you so much,” Peter mutters, picking at a loose thread on the pillowcase.
“Darling, you don’t.”
“If you wanted someone beautiful you should have stayed with Ms Potts. Or dated that actress everyone was obsessed with.”
“Peter, you have it all wrong,” Tony says softly, nosing the edge of Peter’s jaw, pressing a kiss to the sensitive spot behind his ear. “The clothes don’t make you beautiful, sweetheart. But they’re expected in the circles I’m in. You know how much I love you just like this.” He presses a hand against the worm cotton covering Peter’s stomach. “My soft, sweet honey boy.”
Peter flushes at the pet names; always does.
Tony’s thumbs his chin around to make Peter look at him, their noses touching.
“Is this pink little pout for me?”
He kisses it then, and Peter sinks against him, sighing softly when Tony’s arms tighten around him, the wet tip of his tongue teasing Peter’s mouth.
They part when Peter lets out a moan.
“It’s not all bad, is it?” Tony whispers, a small smirk on his face. “There are things you like being dressed in.” His eyes trail over to the box at the foot of their bed. The one where they keep Peter’s jewelled collar, plus his harness and toys.
Peter flushes darker, feels the heat in his cheeks bloom red.
“I do like that stuff. When it’s just us. But those people, Tony, they all look at me and it’s so hurtful.”
“Fuck them. You’re radiant.”
“I don’t know…”
Tony cuddles him closer, squeezing his arms around Peter.
“Come on, do this for me. Make Daddy happy. You want that don’t you, sweet thing? Don’t I give you everything you’ve ever wanted? All you need to do is give me this one little thing in return.”
That’s how Peter ends up in the fitting that Friday, being pulled and prodded as Jansen drapes swatches of fabric over him. Talking animatedly about his fashion house’s new Fall collection as Peter tries to keep up, moving his arms and legs dutifully when Jansen tells him.
Tony watches from his place on the couch, legs spread, a glass of scotch resting on his thigh. Lazily trailing his eyes over Peter’s half-naked form.
“I want something sleek, Jansen. Dark. But still romantic. I want him to look like a fucking woodland fawn.”
Jansen ignores Tony’s language, and nods enthusiastically.
“Of course, Mr Stark. It won’t be hard, with your boy’s stature and dreamy good looks.”
Peter blushes. Your boy. Something about the way Jansen talks about Peter like he’s not there, with the way Tony’s watching them, makes him feel light-headed. He meets Tony’s dark look, how he never breaks his eyes from Peter even as he lifts the scotch to his mouth, and he feels hot all over.
“He’s a beauty, isn’t he? He asks Jansen, still not taking his eyes from Peter.
“Oh yes. Your taste in all things is impeccable as always, Mister Stark.”
Peter wants to bite back that he’s not a thing, and Mr Stark doesn’t own him. Instead he blushes even harder, trying to ignore the way his dick is getting hard, how Tony’s words and heavy gaze make his entire body prickle.
“Just be careful, Jansen. Peter’s skin is very sensitive,” Tony smiles, knowing exactly how affected Peter is by all of this.
Peter throws him a mean look and Tony chuckles against the rim of his glass.
Afterwards, Peter sees the note that Jansen left and his eyes almost pop out. It’s an order not just for one outfit, but for coats, pants, shirts, jumpers, scarves and gloves. Entire matching sets and one pieces, just for Peter. He thinks it might be more clothes than Peter has ever owned.
“Tony, you’ve pre-ordered their entire Fall catalogue,” he breathes.
“Hmm?” Tony hums, half listening. “Oh, that? If you’re going to have one piece you might as well have them all.”
“Tony, it’s too much.”
“No,” Tony says slowly, like he’s breaking down a particularly hard equation. “It isn’t.” He pulls Peter against him, the ferocity almost making him stumble.
“When will you learn that I’ll do anything for you,” he says, and the raw honesty in Tony’s voice makes his skin thrum. “Anything for my pretty boy, pretty baby, my little prince.”
Peter melts at that, eyelashes fluttering. Feels himself go again; head floaty, dick stupidly hard. He’s still mostly naked, and he wonders what he looks like pressed up against a fully-dressed Tony. The feeling only intensifies when Tony grabs his chin and kisses him roughly, his beard and mouth rubbing him raw where he stabs his tongue inside him. Peter slumps against him, almost falling, but Tony grabs him tightly. Your boy echoes in his head.
Tony breaks away, making Peter gasp. He tries to follow his mouth but Tony stops him with a quick, firm tsk.
“Now, tell me what you are.”
“Your… sugar baby,” he whispers, face hot, legs trembling.
Tony smiles, shark-like.
“That’s right.”

Fullmetal Alchemist Collaboration Cafe
Tumblr media
Celebrating one of the greatest Manga/Anime out there, this is the Fullmetal Alchemist cafe! This extremely popular cafe ran not only in Tokyo, but Osaka and Nagoya as well. Regardless of which location you choose to go to, you'll need to make a (free) reservation for this cafe.
The cafe, as mentioned before, was held in three seperate locations;
Something special about this cafe is that all locations had three iterations of the menu that ran for a limited time. For this review, I’ll only be covering the 2nd iteration, which is the one I managed to attend.

I visited this cafe on the 21st of March 2020. I was lucky to make it before the cafe was ultimately cut short due to the corona virus.
The cafe itself was downstairs underground, and gave off an almost otherworldly vibe because of it. It felt like as you entered this cafe, you entered into a Fullmetal Alchemist bubble of sorts. It was absolutely wonderful. The inside of the cafe was small, but lacked customers, making it feel quite spacious despite that. It also featured a wall in which visitors could draw on sticky-notes and post their thank-you messages. Not to mention, the unique bathroom... covered in images of Major Armstrong...
Tumblr media
As per usual, for each item you order from the menu, you'll receive a unique randomized coaster. This time you’ll also receive one of several different design lunch mats, as well.
Tumblr media
As for what I ordered, for main I went with "Ed’s ‘To the Promised Day’ Omurice.". The soft omelette combined with the refreshing tomato sauce always makes for a wonderful combination. I think the presentation was also quite unique with all the dishes I tried that day.
Tumblr media
For dessert, I continued the Ed theme, and went for "The pocket watch engraved with the day we set out dessert". This dessert was... unique. It was mostly just wafers in order to make up the pocket watches shape, with a small amount of cream to go with it. While it certainly was a sign to behold in terms of presentation... I think it was slightly lacking in the flavor department unfortunately.
Tumblr media
Lastly, I ordered a single drink. Of course, I absolutely had to choose "Trapped inside a jar, Envy’s salty lychee drink.", all things considered. It was my first experience with salty lychee, and it was lovely and refreshing.
Tumblr media
All in all, this was the 2nd cafe I ever visited, and while I was nervous at first, I believe this is the one that made me fall in love with Anime cafes and kick start my adventures with them. It was an emotional experience, with how much FMA means to me, and it means even more so now. I have many things to thank FMA for and I truly hope to see another FMA themed cafe again someday.
