Here's my take: even if Mike suspected that Will had a crush on him, even if that idea made him uncomfortable, he still. would have. hugged him.

They are best friends of 9 years who haven't seen each other in 8 months, any suspicion would be only mildly grounded at BEST, and we do not know him to prioritize his comfort at the expense of Will's feelings.

Even if he wanted to avoid leading him on or something, he did not have time to calculate that decision. This might be a justifiable excuse for the later fight, but not the hug. He missed him and he would have hugged him before he even thought of that or temporarily prioritized the hug.

Even if he did think he had lost him, he would have taken an opportunity in which Will was visibly happy and initiated a hug to take it. He didn't just not hug him. He avoided WILL'S hug.

If Mike was scared Will had become distant, if Mike was scared Will had a crush on him, in the situation that we saw...he still would have hugged him.

As an old fan of The Sandman comic books, I really don’t understand why now, after the TV show, someone is talking about the Morpheus - Corinthian relationship like a father and son’s one. I always saw it like something archetypical, the symbol of the tormented bond between the Artist and his Work of Art. 

Morpheus calls the Corinthian "masterpiece", not "son". The story of the creation who wants to be free from his creator is present in the myths of a lot of ancient cultures. At the same time, the creator who sometimes can't totally control his creation (and the way his creation is understood by the public), is something that every artist, writer, etc could understand.

Is this relationship problematic? well yes. Is morally ambiguous? absolutely yes and this because morality belongs to religion, not to Art.

So I had to take an online driving course (bc I was caught speeding 🤫). So Im reading along and I notice they kept saying “directional light”. Like what the hell is a directional light? I swear I didn’t have the slightest clue what they were talking about for half the course until I figured out they meant a god damn turn signal. It’s a TURN SIGNAL! miaposting aside I genuinely cannot think of a way for them to introduce cissie into this run (other than a two second cameo) that would actually feel organic that WASNT a multi issue major storyline. like. how do you get her in there man???? easiest way might be to confirm she’s ollie’s bio daughter but that in itself would need SEVERAL issues to explore & explain. williamson has 7 left and I’d bet my life savings she doesn’t show up till at least the second half. what are we even doing here.
