A few days ago, I made a fanchild of Yumalia, a beautiful princess, she is the older sister of twins.

She is very fond of dragons, she loves spending time with her uncle Adamaï and also with Grougal, she usually goes with the Dofus and sings songs to them :')

If the name inspired me in a series called The House of the Dragon, I looked for a sheet of names and put them together little by little until I created that.

I gave birth to this drawing for @iunxit and I'm so satisfied ^^

hello!

i've always wanted to send a ask before, but didn't have a blog before, but here i have one now!

i just wanted to say thank you for a lot of things.

first, you posting your art here around 2015-16 was a huge reason i started drawing and doing art in the first place. seeing other peeps similar to me making stuff i enjoyed really cemented what i wanted to do going forward. you were one of my first inspirations for art, and i thank you for that.

second, seeing someone enjoy the funny french fantasy show and the impactful heart dodging game as much as me was also a huge factor of my initial art drive. my first characters were fan characters of wakfu and undertale. hell i even had a small AU mixing the two with an original character as the protag lol. Even after all this time, i still have them and actively draw them, with a ton of reconning, redesigns, renaming rewriting and making them their own thing separate from both things, but they still came from influences like you. thank you for helping me make my own lil guys gorls and theys by just posting what you like. I'm planning on making games, a large scale webcomic , and hopefully more as i go on with them. The webcomic in specific has the fanchild i designed as a ship between adamai and my oc as the protag of it, but he's basically a new character from what he was before lol. even still, the orginal design has influence over his newest design, keeping the blue and white from adamai as a big part of his current color pallete. Even if he is a completely different character, he still has roots from my old interests when i was 11-12.

i'm blanking hardcore rn but all in all, you posting stuff here was a huge reason i am where i am now in life. thank you for that. i'm glad to see you're still on this blog and such, i hope the future treats you well.

Okay, how did Versafina came to be?

If I'm REALLY digging back and being honest, I do remember at one point having a concept when I was in middle or high school of twin sisters, one good and one evil. The good one, Phantasia, would have dark skin and white hair, while the evil one would have pale skin and dark hair. And she's "Versafina" because her palette is REVERSED. (Funny thing: Phantasia as her sister survives to this day, but is NOT the "good twin" anymore. Heehee.)

But really, it was a dime-a-dozen villain design I had back when I came up with that. Officially, Versafina's life began as a fanchild for my earlier (and now discontinued) crossover project, Elements of Harmony. She was then known as "Sable Smisse," the biological child of Rémington Smisse (Wakfu) but raised jointly by YOU KNOW THEM, YOU LOVE THEM, Archibald Snatcher and Roman Torchwick.

This was one of my favorite fankids I ever made because the combo of those three lending to her gave me SO much to work with. You can see Rémy's genetics and fashion sense here, as well as the fact that Sable carries like a thousand weapons hidden on her person. But having her be a RedHatBlackHat adoptive child gave me soooooo many cool ideas for her, such as:

-Learned how to fight from Roman. Learned how to dance from Snatcher. The dance lessons helped improve her combat skills, so she started wearing high heels to every session, and now she fights in heels JUST TO SHOW OFF THAT SHE CAN.

-She had a male dragsona used to infiltrate social functions. (His name was "A.K. Flintlock" back then. It's "Andely" today and has a complete makeover, but that's a footnote.)

-She was the MOST WANTED in whatever city she lived in.

-French accent!

-Believed loyalty was a luxury. See the quote I included in the dollmaker illustration above.

-SERIAL KILLER

Anyway, she's one of those characters who took on so much life of her own that I soon realized I was writing my own thing instead of a fanchild. Even though she took tropes like the dragsona, they really were TROPES rather than anything completely derivative.

In my modern universe, she hasn't really changed much at all, except for her name and the fact that her parentage will differ depending on the AU. Main 'verse Versa is the daughter of an evil faery queen, but I've also wanted to make the Disney AU of her and she'd make most sense as Grimhilde's daughter but learning tricks from Helga Sinclair.

Fankid alert!!!

Been getting back into Wakfu lately, bc of course I am, which brought me back into self shipping with Nox 👉👈 my gf gave me the idea of me n him building our own kid based on Foggernauts, sooo... here she is!

Her name is Electritrix, Ele or Trix for short! I don’t have much for her personality wise, but I just had to share here bc,,, look at her!! She’s cute!!!
